Falin Touden is an example of the manic pixie dreamgirlification of autistic girls
the same traits that made Shuro actively resent Laios (strength in noticing details, specific unusual interests, weak social skills, propensity to daydream/get lost in thought) made him fall in love with Falin because they were repackaged in a cute girl

Here's a little LotR themed comic I did a couple years ago.
I'm forever in love with Frodo's bravery, and Sam's devotion to be there beside him.
I majorly HC book-version-Sam as being autistic for many reasons, and wanted to explore the stubborn, devotional relentless love that can be seen in autistic-love through Frodo n Sam <3

Klaus: sometimes wearing a shirt feels like my skin is burning and I want to rip it off my flesh until I'm just bones, its like this overwhelming torturous feeling and then I take off my shirt and I'm completely fine
Five: you're autistic
Klaus: that's what that is??

Random things I’ve noticed about Robin Buckley that I adore!
How she sits:
Her getting excited about things:
Black heart shaped earrings
The “handle with care” patch on her jacket
Her little hand gestures, thumbs up, crossed fingers over heart, squeezed fists
Her just looking up:
There’s a few things I wanted to say about these ones:
How she sleeps <3 and in random uncomfortable position might I add
Her pressing her hand against the back of the car , and her colored band aids
She doesn’t have a license so instead she rides her bike but she also wears a helmet

the autistic montrose post
1- he literally wears a mask all the time come ON!
2- ephemera special interest, when kenchall asked what they knew about ephemera he instantly replied "everything imaginable"
3- connecting more with animatronics than humans
4- saying he had a lonely childhood and didn't get along with other kids
5- "i have trouble experiencing the full range of human emotions"
6- in addition to the mask, he is also often playing another personality, so he's very good socially and at communicating, but not as himself
montrose is god's most autistic soldier in an actual play show besides like, ayda aguefort who is canonly autistic we love him <3

The autism in Jamie Tartt in todays episode was showing!
The stimming when he was upset. The flapping his hands. Not knowing how he’s feeling or why. The chewing on his hoodie strings. The need for comfort from people he trusts. All of it.
It’s just very clear this episode. And I kinda love it. It just furthers my head cannon.

Larry Daley from the Night at the Museum movies is autistic ! Anon says “He’s very creatively driven, stims with his flashlight, doesn’t understand social cues, has sensory issues with his uniform, prefers talking to wax people than actual living humans, likes the routine of the museum night shift, and ultimately takes a special interest in history! :)”

I'm a big fan of a character type I like to call The Second Autistic-Coded Character I Spot. On a lot of shows with Big Neurodivergent Energy, there’s a character who most closely resembles popular tropes about autism—think of Ron from Parks and Rec, Huey from DuckTales, or Gregory from Abbott Elementary. They’re the easiest to recognize, and the average person probably wouldn’t consider it a “reach” if you said they were autistic. The Second Autistic-Coded Character I Spot tends to have traits that present in a less obvious way to the casual observer, and they might not stand out as immediately. But once I catch onto them, their neurodivergence smacks me in the face in the best way. These characters tend to be more outgoing/talkative, more AuDHD-coded, and are more likely to be women/femme. To pair with my previous examples, The Second Autistic-Coded Character I Spot includes characters like Leslie from from Parks and Rec, Webby from DuckTales, and Janine from Abbott Elementary. And more often than not, once I recognize a second character, the floodgates open and I start to see just how neurodivergent the show is as a whole.
I'm not sure why The Second Autistic-Coded Character I Spot is so particularly beloved for me. After all, I'm a big fan of all sorts of autistic-coded characters, including the more "clear-cut" ones. But there's just something about about these characters that I really, really love. They're always trying so hard, talking so much, and loving with such abandon, and I adore them. Here's to the characters who are A Lot, always coming in hot and filled with passion that they throw at the world with both hands.
