Assuming that she married all three of them, she’s now pregnant, then a time skip to where she’s holding her triplets.

This is definitely a bit out of my comfort zone, but I gave it my best shot!

As always, I have no formal education in writing, so any advice is sincerely appreciated!

The cot you laid in was just slightly cold, made infinitely worse by your chilling sweat that soaked it. But it was soothing to feel, now that the worst of the discomfort was over.

You held in your arms two of your children, with Illumi standing across the room holding your third. It was clear that the baby he held took after him, his deep black eyes reflected in the child’s innocent gaze.

To your side, Chrollo sat with a look of sheer amazement, occasionally reaching out to pat the hair of the baby nearest to him, who sported soft grey eyes, currently closed in quiet sleep. The final child, with bright yellow eyes that so clearly took after your red-haired clown, was simply asleep in your arms, his father having left hours ago and not yet returned.

Hisoka had gotten ‘antsy’ during your labour, and had left to get some of his irritation out. You shuddered to think of what he might be doing for that.

There was a knock at the door, and a voice announcing themselves as the lead nurse. Illumi stepped back over to your bed side, placing down the child he had been holding into your arms, before walking over to the door, likely using Nen to vet that this was true.

The person who entered was dressed in the same uniform all Zoldyck butlers wore, Illumi having refused to allow your labour to take place anywhere else. They were quiet as they milled about the room, checking all the machines that measured your vitals under the watchful eyes of your husbands.

“So...” Chrollo spoke softly, filling the silence with comfort, “Do you have any ideas of what you might name them?”

The question threw you off a bit, but Chrollo seemed content to let you think for a while. It was going to be a big deal, naming the children of some of the most infamous people on the planet felt like the strangest responsibility.

The nurse stepped over to you, politely informing you and your husbands that they needed to do a quick checkup on each of your children, not yet reaching out for fear of their hands being cut off if you or your children were touched without your consent.

After a nod from all of you, the nurse picked up the baby that took after Hisoka, handling him with the softest care as they checked some basics and vitals. It wasn’t long before another knock at the door indicated the return of your missing husband.

As Hisoka waltzed in, he received slight glares from both you and your other husbands, but he disregarded all of it to walk right up to your bedside.

“How’s my darling heart feeling, hmm?”

“Better. A bit tired but... better.”

“That’s wonderful to hear, how about you take a quick nap?”

Confused, you gestured towards the babies in your against your chest, trying to show him why you couldn’t sleep just yet. At the same time, the nurse leaned over, gently returning the yellow-eyed baby to you, before reaching for the next, the child that had previously been held by Illumi.

You moved to allow the nurse to pick up the next baby, before glancing over at Hisoka. He was frowning with his eyebrows furrowed as if he was confused as looked at the baby that had just been returned to you.

Without a word, he reached out a clawed hand to the infant’s head, and a small part of you suddenly understood the instinct to protect your child. Yet, when his hand reached them, he simply let it lay there, with his thumb resting on the bridge of their noise.

For a long moment, he continued to look confused, before the softest smile you had ever seen on his face appeared.

“How cute...” seemed to be all he could muster, as he suddenly took a polite step back, glancing at his own hand seemingly in bewilderment.

The nurse returned the second child, and reached over for the final one. As you watched the nurse go about their business, you felt the waves of tiredness lap sluggishly at your mind, though you refused to close your eyes until your child was back in your arms.

Once the baby was returned to you, the nurse began to speak again, both to you and your husbands, though you didn’t quite have the energy to tune in. You sank into the bedsheets and your own exhaustion with a quiet sigh.

You likely wouldn’t be leaving the Zoldyck estate for a few months, maybe even a few years if Illumi got his way, so you would have all the time you needed to catch up on whatever the nurse was saying right now.

In that moment, you felt a hand on your forearm, soft and warm, and you didn’t need to know who it belonged to, because it didn’t matter.

All that mattered now was that your family was safe.
