the night sky shot on an iPhone 11 in february of this year
felt thoroughly depressed yesterday not being able to see jupiter as well as one could if you didn’t live in a big cloudy city. the photo in this post was taken in the countryside and I am always amazed at how much you can actually see when you get out of the city. note that this photo is heavily edited to make the stars appear more clear, but it’s still quite amazing to see. I wish I got out more and spend more time in nature and that’s just what I’m gonna do this weekend. hoping jupiter will still be a little visible

The Morning after...
Meanwhile, the war in Ukraine hasn't vanished. Once again we spent last night in the corridor, away from the windows and the shattering glass. The historic centre of Odesa, where I live, is covered with scars that are getting bigger and bigger. The Odesa National Fine Arts Museum, a cosy art gallery, which turns 124 years old today, was attacked by russian missiles and shaheds.
There is pain and wrath instead of celebration. And the best antidepressant for me - a walk in the park on a sunny November day.
