we wasted ten weeks just to see how mailin learned to pleasure herself successfully, nora become a shell of herself to uphold purity culture and victim-blame before becoming an offscreen presence for much of the season, and fatou and ava become personal cheerleaders and comforters for the oh-so-strong White Savior Feminist. (also, ava would NEVER help consti move into his new flat — jackass never even attempted to apologize to her…) but that’s how pointless and insignificant this season is. mailin has learned nothing. the audience has learned nothing of true value. the characters are shapeless, no longer “real” teens. just there to parrot the harmful rhetoric of ZDF. what complete utter garbage.

Isi being supportive of the 'feminist art' -> very 'in-character', as she is a dramatic queen and did so much impulsive (dumb) stuff during their season. I'm not surprised 🙄

Kieu My being critical -> also very 'in-character' as always did her best to study hard and it is so important for her to do well in the educational system, so destruction of school property is not really her thing, makes sense.

But Ava not being critical -> SO MUCH out of character. I said in an earlier post that during S5 and 6 Ava was always the one (reasonably) criticizing her friends. She engages in meaningful activism and reflects a lot about it (seen in S6). She has been critical of Mailins activism specifically (FOR A GOOD REASON!). Druck PLEASE are you FUCKING SERIOUS??! Why are you ruining a character like this???!

It’s soooo weird to me that Ava came to help Consti, who is her former bully and who didn’t apologize, move in his new flat. It’s like these writers just stopped caring about bullying after one horribly bad Isi’s apology in s7.
