This wasn't supposed to happen.

You weren't supposed to die in space.

None of you were.

But Thanos had taken Gamora, and Peter, Drax, Mantis, and two of the Avengers you'd met all turned to dust right in front of you.

Your heart suddenly broke, knowing that Groot and Rocket were with Thor.

And now you were stuck in space with Nebula and Tony Stark.

Two people you were not incredibly fond of.

Once you were rescued and brought back to Earth, you learned that Rocket was alive, but Groot hadn't made it.

"What the hell happened to us, Kid?"

And even though he wouldn't admit it to anyone but you, he cried.

You cried for months after losing the love of your life.

But in the five years that followed that fateful day, you never moved on.

You kept yourself busy helping Rocket and Nebula to hold the Galaxy together and searching for Thanos while many of the heroes were 'dead'. And then one day, a bug dude showed up and brought the concept of time travel with him.

And this is how you ended up back on Morag in 2014.

It was the first time you'd seen Peter since he dusted. You desperately wanted to run to him and kiss him again, but this wasn't your Peter.

As he danced dramatically to 'Come and Get Your Love', you, Nebula and 'Rhodey'—as you'd been introduced—watched on at the utter ridiculousness.

Rhodey broke this silence.

"So he's an idiot."

You couldn't disagree.

"Yeah." You smiled sadly. "He's my idiot, though."

After all you'd been through there was no turning back now.

Portals opened everywhere in the ruins of the Avengers campus, and that's when you spotted Drax and Mantis, then—

Him. Your sweet, loveable idiot, Peter Quill. Sprinting over to join your found family once again, he spotted you and broke a smile. You returned it, giving him a desperate kiss when you reached him.

"I thought I lost you forever!" You cried, clinging to his jacket.

He looked confused. "It was only a few hours?"

Your head snapped up.

"Uh, try five years."

"What?..." He whispered, eyes widening as if horrified by the concept of you being alone for five years.

You turned towards Mantis and Drax, waving to them with a giddy expression. They both waved back, and you all faced the Mad Titan's army ahead.

And soon, you were right in the thick of it.

Lunging at a nightmarish humanoid creature, you blasted it before turning to cover Peter, who was fighting off two more. Once those were taken care of, you moved in and fought them back to back. Being close to Peter again felt like heaven, even in the battlefield.

Even when you saw all of the Female avengers joining to push back against the army, you were hesitant to leave Peter's side in fear that you'd lose him again.

"Go." He told you with a smile and a kiss. "I'll be here when it's over."

You ran after Mantis and Nebula, spotting...Gamora? You weren't sure how that worked, but you were glad nonetheless. It didn't feel right that Natasha wasn't there, but this, you felt, was to honor her. It was what she would want.

Fighting a pale squid looking thing, you watched over it's shoulder at Carol, the woman who had saved you in space, entering the fight. You cheered wildly and pumped your fist in the air. There was no way you would lose, now.

As you struggled with a Titan monster, you received some help from Groot, who skewered it with a thick branch while you blasted it in the head.

"Thanks, buddy." You high fived him.

"I am Groot."

"It's good to see you too!"

And all of the sudden, the Titans were disappearing.

It was then that you looked over to see Tony, slumped against a piece of wreckage, pale and barely breathing. It hit you that he had just snapped the enemy away, and that had drained everything out of him.

You shared a sad look with Rocket.

As dickish as Tony was, he had a good heart.

And he gave it all to save the world.

Everyone stood in silence as he breathed his last. And then one by one, they began to kneel. A king, a sorcerer, a captain, a soldier, an assassin, all from different backgrounds, honored one man. You kneeled and began to cry, knowing that he had a wife and daughter, one of which would be waiting for him.

After the funeral, you sat at the edge of the lake outside the Stark's cabin. Peter sat down next to you and slid an arm around your waist.

"He didn't have to do that." You bit back tears and leaned into him.

He signed deeply. "I don't think he saw a choice."

You had learned that Gamora, was in fact not the one you knew, but the one that didn't know any of you. The last you'd heard is that she'd run off in a ship from the battlefield.

"I missed you, Peter. You have no idea." You sobbed.

He pulled you closer "I'm sorry you had to go through that, babe."

"I...I couldn't bring myself to move on. You better treat Rocket right, too. He's the only reason I'm still here."

"I'm really glad you didn't. And, were on good terms, trust me."

You chuckled, giving a small smile.

"There it is." Peter crooned, kissing your jaw softly. "Wanna go get Dairy Queen before we head back out there?"

"Hell yeah!" You cheered.

Current Fic Ideas:

Here's my current fic ideas--all of these are up for grabs to whoever wins my @marveltrumpshate auction. (Gonna do these in a few reblogs)

Fic Idea:

Steve and tony are outted by the press 6 months into a healthy happy relationship and it takes less than 2 months for them to fall apart due to the pressure and scrutiny. How they find their way back and manage leading the Avengers is a bit messier and takes longer.

Fic Idea:

Bucky has a one night stand before he goes to war. He goes missing in action and months later, Steve is sent his personal belongings. Including letters from an omega he's never heard of, named Tony, sending pictures of a pretty baby. Bucky's baby.

Steve finds Tony--if for no other reason, than to tell him about Bucky and to meet what amounts to his nephew. But he realizes how broke Tony is, alone and disowned and trying to finish school. Maybe Tony didnt mean much to Bucky--no one ever did--but he smells like home and safety, like everything Steve didn't know he wanted. And Peter fits, in his arms, a way nothing ever has. It's easy, to welcome them into his home, to help them. It's even easier to fall in love.

And then--Bucky comes home, and finds the pretty omega he barely remembers in his brother's clothes and home, and holding a baby.

Fic Idea:

Howard finds Steve in the early seventies. He marries Peggy but she's killed and he's left lost and angry and without any real purpose. Until Howard calls and asks for a favor. His son has been getting in trouble and could use a bodyguard.

Fic Idea:

After Endgame, Steve and Tony are together and life is good but there's the small matter of the cults that have sprung up worshiping them. Because Steve wielded the power of a god and Tony wielded the Gauntlet. And people are trying to process that so cults.

Fic Idea:

Today I'm thinking about that fic I started, in which Tony is an Omega in need of an Alpha chaperone at MIT and Rhodey takes the job. And then, when Howard & Maria die, Bonds with Tony so he can inherit SI and not be forced to Bond with Obie.

So for twenty odd years, it's very common knowledge that Tony Stark is Bonded to his college 'sweetheart' Rhodey, and then--Steve shows up and Tony falls head over heels for him and that's 100% mutual but TONY HAS AN ALPHA OH NOS!

And Tony can't figure out why Steve who is OBVIOUSLY into him won't make a move, even when he's in heat and throwing himself at Steve, until Steve explains, a little confused and a lot conflicted, that he's not gonna steal another Alpha's omega, and James deserves better.

And that's when Tony calls Rhodey from the other room and says, hey baby, do you mind if I break our Bond to get with Steve and he's like, FUCKING FINALLY, DUDE! And Steve finds out that it was only ever a platonic Bond because Rhodey would literally do anything for his bestie.

Fic Idea:

The PR agent responsible for Steve getting a Twitter is also responsible for every time he gets fighty online, which happens every time Tony is insulted. Tony is DELIGHTED he isn't PR's problem child anymore.

Fic Idea:

Tony watches WWII unfolding and knows that something is necessary to help win, so he sends a piece of himself to earth--the Tesseract. And when that's not enough, he falls, giving up his place with the stars, to help humanity.

And then he meets Steve, and uses his fading power--he's dying but he's not going to tell any of them that--to power Project Rebirth. I think probably too he's part of why Steve survives the ice, but I need to work on that.

Fic Idea:

Dragon rider SteveTony AU.

They're from different clans. But they're forced together because of blah blah reasons (oh maybe the dragons are mating?) And Tony loathes Steve who is a big damn hero his father won't shut up about. And maybe he's projecting a little--

He wasn't supposed to Bond with a dragon, he isn't supposed to even be here--but he's never going to live up to Cap's expectations, not the guy who rewrote the rules on dragon bonds and single handily turned the course of the war.

Steve meanwhile cant get a single word out because gosh Tony is pretty and smart and when he rides his dragon--🤯

Their dragons would Very Much Appreciate if the idiot humans would get their shit together.

Fic Idea:

Steve never had a soulmate. Never had a mark. But one night in late may, he wakes up to a burning on his arm and his name in almost illegible scrawl. Howard calls and tells him about the birth of his son the next day.

He goes to see the baby a week later and holds Tony and he can see it, his words too large on Tony's little chest, but he murmurs them anyway. It's terrifying and everything he wanted and Tony is a BABY so he puts the kid down and swears to himself to keep his distance.

But he has a half formed bond with Tony and he doesn't always stay away and then when Tony is two--he's brilliant but talks late--he says 'steeb' at a Christmas party. It's his first word and it completes the bond. Tony grows up with it. He never realizes that they're soulmates.

Because he was so tiny when they bonded and it's all he's ever known and Steve is convinced he can't be with Tony and Tony--wants nothing to do with the nameless faceless person responsible for his words, he just wants Steve.

Fic Idea:

Steve is a successful happy security contractor. He's kinda slutty but that's ok, he's not hurting anyone and he's always honest. And then one day he gets an email that he's pretty sure isnt for him but intrigues him anyway.

Tony is miserable. His company is on the verge of collapse, he hasn't talked to his best friends in years, and his husband is a distant asshole--and those are the good days. He emails a private investigator and somehow ends up contacting a security contractor instead.

isn't a working number, hell it doesn't even have enough numbers--they keep talking. And Steve maybe stops sleeping around because Tony, Tony is fascinating. Tony smiles more, even if sneaking around is dangerous.

And there are things that are…off. little bits of conversation that is just a little bit wrong. Not enough to concern them. Eventually they decide to meet, Tony's husband be damned. But when they go to the coffee shop they agree on--there's no one waiting.

And through the argument and hurt,they finally peace it together. They're in parallel universes.

More THOUGHTS: ok but when they realize this it spooks them both and they kinda retreat from each other. But. They both look, in their worlds. Tony find a Steve Rogers but he died as a little boy. He didn't have a best friend to protect and help him. Steve find Tony too.

He was killed by a buisness rival a few weeks after his father's death. Vanko is still in prison for it, but--Tony is still dead. It terrifies him, losing that Tony without ever knowing him, and it drives him back to his Tony, desperate to know he's safe.

It's heartbreaking because they're so close to each other, but they're universes apart, too, and Tony can't tolerate that. Won't. He's a genius, even if Ty's abuse broke him and made him small, and he's willing to try, if it means making his way to Steve.

mixed feelings on the ending of season 5

i think my thing is that i just don´t like it as much when dr who is trying to do the epic avengers endgame big action thing, i think it works better in the more self contained plots. and also like way too much of the two parter depends on like random shit happening, just a bunch of events. it doesn´t feel cohesively well ploted

at first i didnt like the second david tennant plot but i kind of warmed up to it because i realized it was kind of the culmination of the doctor meeting evil foils of himself: this time it´s literally him. and he rejects him. plus i like that his "human side" is more evil

i have some disorganised complainy thoughts about shared universes

i LOVE. love love love shared universes. i love that we live in a world where sometimes blorbo from show 1 makes a cameo on show 2.

i remember yearning for it 20 years ago, when the first spiderman came out in 2002. i remember thinking then that it would be so fucking cool if they could do team-up films.

and i remember going absolutely feral in the cinema in 2012 when the avengers assembled for the first time.

HOWEVER

there has been an inherent problem from day one with these films, and indeed the entire concept. and its that in order for each installment to have any kind of emotional anchor, they have to have stuff for all the characters to do. and instead of putting major character developments on the backburner for the team-up, they give them important shit to do.

which is why you can’t just go from iron man 2 to iron man 3. tony has ptsd from what happened to him in avengers, and if you missed that film, you miss out.

you can’t go from guardians of the galaxy vol. 2 directly to the next one, bc a LOT of shit happened to those guys in infinity war and endgame. you miss out.

you cannot go directly from s2 of daredevil to s3 without watching defenders. it absolutely does NOT make sense, and you miss out.

and now, you cannot go from the end of s2 of mandalorian directly to s3. you gotta watch book of boba fett or you. miss. out.

i feel like a good writer could give the characters something to do that didnt have anything to do with their main character/plot focus, and save all the important emotional bits for their own show.

on the other hand, these stories are being produced by people who assume they have their audience. the audience is absolutely gonna watch whatever they make in order to get the whole story.

and i know that’s what they think. Russell T Davies, the showrunner of doctor who, talked about it in a commentary once, about how he was worried if people would turn off during the series 3 ep Utopia bc it featured the return of Captain Jack Harkness, who had been missing since series 1, and gone on to be in his own show. And he talked about how difficult it was to create a sense of completion for Torchwood since none of the interesting questions about Jack were going to get answered in that show, because they were Doctor Who questions. (re: Jack’s immortality and how it came to pass)

But they conclude that the audience will hang in there for both shows because they want the story.

i don’t know what point i have here, apart from that it’s annoying. bc theyre mostly right. i did go watch tbobf to get that chunk of mando’s story.

i just skipped ahead to his bits. bc idgaf.

That’s a good question. I have to admit, I had to look Florence Pugh up when it was announced she was playing Yelena. And I fount out I haven’t seen anything with her before, aside from Malevolent and I had no idea she was there.

There’s this thing... I really, really don’t like Chris Hemsworth. I think he’s absolutely overrated and NOT hot at all! And in all the movies I’ve seen with him, he was effin’ annoying.

So, Chris Hemsworth is playing Thor and we all know in how many Marvel movies he’s in (and he’s still annoying af!!). But I decided for myself, that I won’t let this ONE actor spoil the movies for me because I love them so much (yes, even if he’s in).

Sure, i’m more than happy to watch a Marvel movie without Thor, but if he’s in, so what? I still watch them.

Maybe you should try doing it with Yelena. You hate her? Okay, that’s fine, but don’t let her ruin the movies and TV shows because it’s not worth it. The Hawkeye TV show is so far the best of all of them and I will watch it over and over again.

People like Yelena. People like Thor. People like Florence Pugh. People like Chris Hemsworth. Let them! Tastes are different.. It’s not worth to be angry about things we can’t change.

And about the Clint hate... same thing. People want to hate Clint? So let them. It’s their loss, not ours.

doctor strange - basically standalone . he becomes doctor strange. has the time stone.... tbh this movies kinda boring imo

guardians of the galaxy vol2 - peter quill meets his dad. dads evil </3 peters half evil all powerful planet. peters adoptive dad yondu sacrifices himself for him. nebula goes to find thanos and kill him i think. lots of dad themes here

spiderman homecoming - agh i love this movie </3 im trying to only mention important info that effects the entire mcu um... avengers hq is moved from the classic building in downtown nyc to a bigger building. spiderman gets better at being spiderman. peter meets mj but they dont have feelings for eachother yet. ned and may both find out his identity.

black panther - tchalla goes back after civil war and goes thru the coronation to be king. his cousin killmonger uses ulysses klaue (evil vibranium smuggler) to get to wakanda n challenge him for the throne. he thinks wakanda should be using their resources to help black people around the world instead of staying isolated. they fight a bunch and killmonger dies. this effects how tchalla decides to rule and so wakanda decides to become more open and help people more. also they take in bucky barnes to give him a new arm.

if u want to know about infinity war ur on ur own its gonna bring back war flashbacks lmao. but u know everyone becomes dust. loki dies fr fr. nebula dies also i think ,,,,,?? dont quote me on that but i think thanos is like damn girl u were gonna kill me,, rude.

ant man n the wasp - not much goes on but at the end scott lang is in the atom zone or whatever when he gets stuck there bc everyone there to help him out is dusted. scotts been on house arrest bc of the civil war stuff.

i’ve been watching marvel lately because of a movie marathon with my friends and i just have one question for endgame and what they did with steve;

1. why didnt they just write that steve retires from the avengers because hes stressed from all this alien shit (or he left because of some other factor) and he goes on to live in a farmhouse like clint’s family and we never see him again ??? like i love that he had closure with peggy but what happened to “til the end of the line” in CATWS

couldnt they just be like “oh yeah the avengers see steve every now and then, yknow” and possibly put some cgi of steve(unless thats against his wishes) at some farmhouse like they did with stan lee after his death? im just. huh????

Today is come todays rant is going to be on one of the most popular movie franchise called Marvel Cinematic Universe or MCU with beginning with the first Iron Man in 2000 and ever since then it became on of if not the most successful franchises especially in box office i for one myself really like the early MCU because of the characters being amazing especially Tony Stark aka Iron Man is portrayed by Robert Dawney Junior and some of my favourite movies are The First Avengers, Avengers Infinity War and Spider-Man homecoming which by fact Tom Holland is the best Spider-Man besides Tobey Maguire and Avengers Endgame although its not good as people saying it to be but its still a grand finale of the Avengers and the MCU in general maybe im not understood the population of Endgame that much but yeah the praise of MCU is feeling rushed The first three phases are considered to be diamond of the movies but the later phases such as Phase Four- Onwards has received a multiple backlash by fans even myself i didnt watch the movies from Phase Four because i genuinely feel like my head is going to explode when i watch these movies Eternals is worst movie i ever heard and seen in my life this movie is so boring and clishe and runs for freaking long like for 2 hours its still long long than The Hobbit even that movie is isnt really that good and after Guardians of the Galaxy 3 im done watching MCU Movies for the time actually im planning to see The Marvels in theaters to know how bad it is the only exception from Phase Four is Spider-Man No Way Home and Doctor Strange In Multiverse of Madness looks okay its not that great but Thor Love and Thunder and Ant Man and wasp Quantumania are considered a massive let down and by the way ive seen Professor x in the Doctor Strange In Multiverse of Madness but that its not that special maybe i do miss understood the appearance of that character ive not seen any of the X-Men movies but theres 13 movies in total that it will take a days to finish it and understand that what happened i dont want to sit through on Dark Pheonix because its so bad and you know the worst part is theres fifth and sixth Avengers movies that came out on the future yeah im not kidding that MCU is going to share universe to full and i don't want to watch Avengers Kangs Dynasty and Avengers secret Wars because i dont understand what will happen and overall im done with MCU after Guardians of the Galaxy 3 i know that theres TV Shows on Disney + but im not going to waste any time watching them

for endgame i would've liked the idea of using the trope of like the heroes do a massive sacrifice (knowing that 5 years passed, fighting thanos twice, knowing all that they lost etc) but no one knows but them. so they have to carry that guilt/knowledge for the rest of their life but the rest of the world can't thank them for it cause they don't know.

i don't mind that they didnt undo the snap, generally but what i don't like is that it seems like they built a story that ended in the snap but forgot to plan ahead to show the after-snap. they can't just go back to happy mcu with that massive loss (of resources, of families, of people) looming in the background, you know?

First, I know you weren't starting a fight at all! <3 I love hearing other people's opinions on the MCU and even if you were looking for a fight, I also like arguing, so win-win either way!

Now onto the submission! See, I totally get that. I also love that trope a whole lot and it allows for a lot of intrigue and psychological angst and character studies - really up my alley! But I had my reservations about it. One, I just don't think the writer's would handle it properly - it has a lot of potential to be great and unfortunately has a lot more potential to go wrong. But the most important thing is that I just don't think it would fit their characters. Right off the bat, Steve, Tony and Bruce would be extremely against it. Steve and Bruce because of the ethics surrounding it and Tony because, well, his daughter. I don't think that's a sacrifice Tony is (permanently) ever gonna make and I don't think the others would dare to ask that - especially considering other kids during the 5 years passed as well. Characterization has always been higher priority than plotting to me. And while I do love that trope just like you, I just don't see the Avengers breaking that barrier.

However, I do fully agree with you're other point. The MCU did not handle the fallout well. They didn't really portray how damn devastating to the whole fucking world an event like that would be. Damn near apocalyptic. Like, I don't think we can emphasize enough how catastrophic the snap should have been. But it was kind of treated like just another superhero battle event. And now it's just a backdrop to the universe. Like it's just something that happened and now there are mentions of it, but nothing much. And really, I get it. Maybe people aren't that into watching the breakdown of something like that...maybe they can't really afford the time and effort to flesh it out, but it would have been absolutely AMAZING it they did. It was a total breakdown and chaos of all societies. That is a fucking goldmine to me. I woulda been all over an exploration of it. Sadly, we weren't fed on that front.

1. in 6th grade i was reading mockingjay (the last book in the hunger games trilogy, for the i assume very few who are unaware), and my best friend at the time literally just blurted out that prim dies to one of her friends, and tried to play it off as if she didn't realize i was right there 😐

2. i was on the second to last episode of the last season of thirteen reasons why. i had been watching it ALL DAY, and it was premiere day specifically bc i didnt wanna be spoiled. i was talking to one of my friends at the time on discord, and mentioned i was almost done, and she just goes "all i know is what happens to justin." 😐 and at this point those few words tell me EXACTLY WHAT INFORMATION I NEED TO GUESS THE ENDING i was so fucking mad at this i'm actually fuming typing this out KDKDKDKDKDKD

3. avengers: endgame had just come out, and i hadn't seen it. i tweeted "spoil endgame for me, its my kink" FULLY as a joke. someone dm'd me the entire ending moments later. this ones more funny than upsetting bc i quite literally asked for it but KDKDMDMSMEMSM

ok i hate the plot of avengers endgame bc it is shitty writing. so im gonna rant about it now. major spoilers ahead.

there are 2 big ass plot holes that make no fucking sense: 1, why they send nebula to where she was in the past? & 2, why tf didnt they fo and steal pym particles from pym BEFORE all the other time travel to get the stones?

the furst is the worst. why the fuck didnt these fucking idiots sit around and talk for more than like two minites when planning the time travel? oh my god. what the fuck. like im pretty dure nebula KNEW or at least suspected that she was there near to where starlord was. surely she would have at least suspected that sge might accidentally connect with her past self via wifi or whatever & then let thanos find out the whole time travel plan. wtf. it makes no sense that these several people including 2 geniuses who figured out the time travel, didnt think of that. i lnow they really wanna undo the snap already but damn. it's not like they have to hurry. they couldve thought ahout it for a week or at least a day. literally the only reason the movie was so godamn long with this fighting with thanos is because these fucking fools didnt plan well enough. they couldve just sent nebula somewhere. it's not like what her & cheadle did was that difficult. a 3 year old with a taser could do that. they just had to knock out starlord, get his lockpick, open the door, & grab the sphere. easy. although now. i just remembered that nebula hurt her hand getting it. but the guy has the iron man suit so im sure he could do the same. maybe even stark couldve made a special suit arm that is really strong to withstand it better. idk i actuallt forgot who this cheadle guy is bc it was been so long since. i saw fhe iron man movies. im talking like several years. but either way they did not need 2 ppl for that. they shouldve sent nebula somewhere else. or even had her stay behind & gaurd the avengers mansion. idk. although she wouldnt need to be there if thanos wasnt alerted of the plan anyway. honestly. i am less mad now. i have calmed down. but i fucking hate this plothole. it is so glaringly obvious & stupid. literally the only reason it fucking happened its because the writers. wanted the movie to be long & have big fighting climax. i guarantee that i mean there is no way the writers are just that stupid right? or that the characters are that stupid? if they can figure out time travel they can figure out that 2 versions of the same robot/cyborg (idk which one she is) can connect telepathically on accident. like radios or smartphones idc. i just fucking hate it. like it does not actually make the movie better to make it extremely long due to unneccasry war with thanos. we already saw them fucking fight thanos. like damn it aint that interesting we dont need another version of that. or at least i dont. i mean just so iron man could die? altho i recently heard that it is because robert downey jr quit. ok fine but yoh dont gotta kill hos character? he can just retire godamn. he is just a genius in a suit. anyone can wear the damn suit. he coulda passed on iron man title to his friend like captain america did or something idk. like he say to spiderman "if you nothing without the suit then why give you the suit?" something like that. also i dont like the idea of superman being basically a mini iron man & also like 15 instead of an actual man with just spider powers but that is another issue.

also the other plothole is annoying but not nearly as bad as they fixed it. but obviously tony stark & steve shoulda figured out sooner that they can just go in the past & get more pym particles. it is insanely stupid that they didnt think of that first. reallg it makes mo sense that they didnt. like i can see MAYBE why they didnt do it at first if they thought it was too risky? (but really it was so easy for them). but like they couldve at least planned it out first. idk it is just ridiculous. i mean i get the superheros wanted to rush this getting the stones & unsmapping but damn. they know so much is at stake so isnt that more reason to sit around & talk it out & plan first instead of rushing it? goddamn. ngl idk why the writers didnt have them steal the pym psrticles before the stone stealing. maybe the writers are just stupid. there doesnt seem to be an reason or benefit from the writers' standpoint. not just the writers i mean but like to irl ppl lile the company of marvel & stuff compared to what the characters are thinking. like either way there would still be the scene of them going to shield & doing that except maybe they wouldnt need to get the tessaract. but probably would anyway bc it is easier. really it would be a simple rearranging of the plot points. whereas the thing with nebula is obviously a big change to the plot so they can extend the movie & have more fighting & more exciting climax & whatnot. bc you know if the characters hadnt made that mistake then the movie would be much less exciting. like hulk undoing the snap (why didn't he hold hands with thor or whatever to share the power & get less hurt like in the end of (spoiler alert) guardians of the galaxy one?) would be the climax. then after that we still have the steve returning stones thing. then people reconcile etc. the end. the movie would be much shorter & less exciting but for me it would be much better. because the glaring plot hole with nebula is just so annoying bc it doesnt make sense that the characters would be like that. they legit added a whole thanos war plot that was totally unneccessary & easily avoidable. i fucking hate it.

Okay I know people think that Endgame was a shitty movie and doesn't deserve all that hype but idc rn cause Im just remembering when I first went and saw it. Our school decided that would be the reward trip for that quarter and they rented out a theater room (they also had a second option which surprisingly a lot of kids chose so it was mostly just the super marvel fans there)

Me and my friend were so freaking excited to see it, especially since our school somehow got the tickets for the first day it was avalible. Me and my friend literally came up with a game plan and both rewatched all the mcu movies in chronological order to prepare for it.

We both chose the best seats and since we had the entire theater and only a quarter of the grade decided to go, we had no one next to us. We freaked the fuck out during the movie. During Natasha's death scene, me and him both cried. Same with Tony.

But the main part that made me love that experience so much was when Steve got the hammer, and when Peter Parker came back. (Also with the other people coming back too but specifically Peter.) Everyone in the audience cheered. Keep in mind, it was about 30-40 teens who love Marvel in a theater alone.

I know people find it annoying or cringy when people clap or cheer during a movie but I honestly love it if the entire theater just goes feral over it. Which we did. Me and my friend both shook each other from excitement so much I'm surprised one of us didn't fall out of our chairs.

It was just an amazing experience it's one of my favorite memories so Endgame is a comfort film for me no matter how many bad endings it had.
