There is no “away”. When you throw something “away”, you’re just putting it somewhere else.

From this week, Starbucks and other coffee shops and places close at 7pm instead of 10pm and sometimes later. So it’s quite another stroke in our freelance teachers’ schedules but I got lucky to have 2 lessons the same day (even though at different Starbucks) so I could see the annonce and change the time of the late afternoon lesson, pfiou ! 🍓Bonus point for the adorable #strawberry card that just got out on Thursday. The plastic ToGo cup was also a recent idea but with the actual situation, I don’t think many people buy it. 👉I try to order cold drinks to avoid the hot beverage coffee cup since they are NOT recyclable. The plastic ones for cold drinks aren’t great for the environment neither but at least if but in the trash correctly (which means at home, not at the starbucks cause their trash bags or burning and plastic end up too often mixed up together. . . . @starbucks @starbucks_j #starbuckscoffee #starbucks #japan #gunma #starbuckscardcollector #starbuckscard #starbuckstogo #starbuckstogocup #starbucksnotecofriendly #environment #ecofriendly #trash #singleusecupsnotrecyclable #singleuse #singleusesucks https://www.instagram.com/p/B-0_Ot4nytT/?igshid=1o0jb3pkj9bjs

Zero waste beauty is all about REDUCE and REUSE! Reduce your plastic consumption with shampoo and conditioner bars instead of bottles, local and handmade soaps, and DIY body scrubs. Stay away from single-use products and reuse cotton makeup removing pads and face cloths.

Single-use plastics do not decompose. They end up in a landfill, or on the ground as loose waste. When it rains, stormwater runoff carries this garbage into oceans and rivers, where it is mistaken as food by the creatures of the sea.
No one wants to eat plastic. Switch to reusable bags, utensils, straws, cups and containers to prevent this meaningless waste.
