Every time I go to the tumblr app it's like "we couldn't complete your request!!" and by the time it arrives I don't even know which request it means. At this point I'm afraid to ask the poor thing what it's talking about now.

I just want a fic where Danny and Jason are just fucking laughing so hard they’re wheezing and bawling as they make death jokes while everyone else is SO uncomfortable
Like they’re full on cackling like Danny will say “We’re not allowed in certain rooms”
Jason will b like ‘what rooms’
Danny will say ‘living rooms’
And they both start dying (metaphorically) of laughter slapplin the counter crying while dick is trying real hard not to shatter the mug in his hands with a constipated expression that rivals Bruce’s a seat away from him (+bonus points if the joke is something that is on the verge of being utterly lame like a near science pun)
(I dunno if a lot of people will see this post but if you do please I’m begging you add a death joke guys please it would be so funny)

So, I was curious about this tidbit from the Patch 5 notes and I haven't seen anyone talk about it. Turns out one of my favourite new bits of content related to my favourite character is hidden behind betraying her in the most horrid way possible. Ugh.
It used to be that if you sided with Lorroakan in the Nightsong quest, you, him, and all the elemental myrmidons (and possibly Rolan) would just fight Aylin alone - a fight that obviously lasted one round, tops, and I think could only serve to make you feel bad about what you've just done.
Now, however, a really cool thing happens - Mum Gets Fucking Pissed. And four of Aylin's cool older celestial cousins (a nice new take on Slivers for my ol' 3e heart) come down to help her in the fight.
Amusingly, they put Aylin in timeout in a moon-flavoured Globe of Invulnerability every turn, which also makes her unable to attack or do much, even with her trusty moonbeam.
So you need to break their concentration (often on more than one of them at a time) in order to be able to even touch Aylin. Everyone being very angry and protective of her is A+++.
A good roll of that 12d12 can just delete characters instantly. Beautiful.
Aylin also gets some very direct buffs, primarily Hug From Mum, and we have waited far, far too long for that:
I just found this oddly touching, that she gets to have at least this bit of very outright reassurance, even if it is under rather horrible circumstances. And ironic, of course, that if you help her and triumph with her in glorious combat (Lo!) against yet another bastard would-be captor, she doesn't, and is left to grapple with her anger and doubt and nascent feelings of abandonment:
Player: Let his demise serve as a warning to anyone else who'd seek you out.
Dame Aylin: Let him be the last. If my dear mother has any mercy, she will ensure it.
[Trying to stay her usual self, but her mask is cracking a tiny bit here. Privately, Aylin is dealing with a great deal of anger toward her mother, the goddess Selûne, but she's not yet willing to face it. How could her powerful mother let all this happen to her?]
Or the more determined-sounding but depressingly "no rest for the glorious Sword of the Silverlight" variants you can get if Isobel is alive:

yknow, given Nico’s old special interest in pirates, my new headcanon is that his initial plan after impulsively running away in TTC and becoming a rogue was that he decided he was just gonna become a pirate. cause he was 10 and just learned his other special interest (Mythology/Mythomagic, specifically Greco-Roman mythology) is real so it’s probably a logical leap for him to assume pirates like that are still a thing.
Which immediately makes a significantly more hilarious dynamic between him and Minos because suddenly it turns into Minos trying to manipulate this son of Hades into helping revive him but to do so he has to wrangle this 11 year old into stopping trying to run off and become a pirate, and instead convince him to live in some lame underground tunnel system. Just imagine for the first few months of Nico living on his own/training with Minos, every couple of days Nico goes “-AND NOW I WILL BECOME A PIRATE” and Minos has to steer him back into the Labyrinth.
