I had a Hamsa magnet from a souvenir shop. I flew over night towns and seen shapes, symbols everywhere. An ornate protective palm or Nazca creatures. Patterns repeating everywhere. Where is my home? Пока ещё можно купаться, мы много бываем не озере. Вчера соседка вдруг переплыла его по диагонали. Зачем так далеко? Чтобы принести упущенный кем-то надувной мячик. Когда знаешь свою цель, легче совершить нечто особенное. Вот были бы в жизни разбросаны такие мячики на дальних берегах... Наверное, надо самим их создавать и разбрасывать. Мой, в данный момент, - отвести маму в её любимую Испанию, а самой погулять по северу Италии... I gave myself a cheap harmonica - it's something simple enough and I can take it anywhere. Within the cliffs here there are niches I sometime climb into and play whatever I want looking at the swirling waves. Nobody, apart from feral cats and seagulls, can see or hear me, I hope. It is very meditative. Today's sketch is about a person playing harmonica in safety of a niche or a cave by the sea but the people around him fight with all kinds of deadly weapons. Do they fight for his soul, perhaps? Will there be a winner or the fight will just go on and on forever? And a little digital art I did in the spring 2020 when I thought that the whole world was going barking mad and I would just sit on the beach, enjoying fresh air and sunshine, and watch. But then they closed all the beaches... Can one really win by being withdrawn? Противопоставлять научное и эмоциональное познание бессмысленно, когда наблюдаешь, как люди с научным образованием строят свою жизнь из идей типа "со мной это случилось / не случилось" один раз, и вот вам мой конечный, неоспоримый вывод... Не нужна им ни статистика, ни теории и их проверка. Один раз увидел (а то и услышал по телевизору) и... уверовал. И что тогда ожидать от людей без научного образования? Казалось бы, ну какая беда, верят люди во что хотят. К сожалею, очень часто из этой веры возникает непреодолимое желание ломать чужие жизни... Иногда я пытаюсь себя определить, описать как-нибудь, вписаться в какую-либо категорию. А через несколько лет неизбежно приходится это определение менять. Очень странными кажутся попытки людей не просто самоопределиться, но при этом разделить всех вокруг на "наших" и "ваших". Какой-то там патриотизм придумывают, в какие-то категории хронически не до понятых пытаются втиснуться... Зачем? Может, лучше просто быть дуновением ветра, колышащего поле возможного? Или невидимым корнем от которого вырастают каждый сезон разные растения? Был и злаком, и колючим сорняком, и полевым цветком... Значит, можешь об одном и том же событии судить с разных точек зрения. Just finished "Über Leben" by Reinhold Messner. I have read the book with the help of Google Translate so I hope I didn't misunderstand it too much. Any lessons of a life well lived are valuable, but the book tells us about a very unusual life, full of adventures, including numerous ones in the most extreme parts of the planet. I found many parts of the book really insightful and added lots of quotes to the Goodreads collection. The most touching was the part about author's childhood in a traditional rural community in Dolomites. I felt like I could see and experience that. Yet I am disappointed I didn't find any real regrets and apologies in the book. They, I would think, must be present in any life, especially in such long and complicated one. Instead I was set back by amount of grudges the author still holds. Wouldn't it be better to let them go? I became curious and already have read some of the stuff which RM's present opponents (former acquaintances) said, for example Hans Saler. He didn't sound evil, just very hurt. And for someone so passionate about freedom, independence and responsibility, where is author's voice in 2020-21, when it would be needed the most? For example, not a word for defence of those forbidden to go alone into the nature to keep themselves fit and sane? I can't believe sometime that this is still the same person who went into Tibet illegally and was hiding here from the Chinese police. Становится холодно, и наступает время рвать когти по дороге на юго-запад, из дома в дом. Практические вопросы: проходил ли кто-нибудь маршрут в Испанию через Венгрию недавно? Судя по интернету, вроде бы, должно быть просто, в Будапеште вышел из одной двери в аэропорту, вошёл в другую. Но так ли это? Может, придётся ждать 2 недели, чтобы "очиститься от скверны"? С удовольствием читаю "Алхимика" Пауло Коэльо. Синхронность, поиск знаков и знамений, путешествие за смыслом жизни... О вечном, в общем. И начинается в прекрасных Тарифе и Танжере. То что нужно, и не слишком заумно или мрачно. Мне сейчас нравится читать и художественную, и нехудожественную литературу одновременно и все - очень медленно. С художественной литературой получается трудно, потому что в ней либо слишком много напридуманных и ненужных деталей, либо, если книга старая, проблемы, затронутые в ней, уж�� изменились до неузнаваемости... Долгие годы мне было не по себе от одного упоминания о религии, было так жаль растраченных на нее когда-то сил. А сейчас отношусь, как ко всему остальному, что люди делают. Были, есть и будут хорошие люди, которые верят во все, во что-то одно или ничему вообще не верят. Для меня лишь важно, что я сама вне какой-либо системы: ни от кого "духовного" не завишу и никого не боюсь. С удовольствием окунулась в источнике, пользуясь затишьем паломничества во время строительства дороги. There are different kinds of beauty appreciated and created by different people. Nice picture, elegant mathematical solution, etc. (for nerds: Socionics tells me, I think, that I am at risk of hoarding sensory stuff till overloaded. And, yes, I am constantly taking photos, collecting perfumes, listening to variety of music, would love to learn all the languages I can, and always happy to try new foods. I follow many artists of different styles, if I had enough money I would probably have been an art collector... Is this an obsession which leads to nowhere?
