Two long rabbit ears poke out from behind a stack of books so high that it covers the rest of her. "Hm? Oh, I'm doing well! Hunts have been postponed for a little bit due to the illness keeping everyone inside. So theres really not that many Grimm!

"Although... Some of us aren't going too well..." as her voice petered off, as if on cue, Coco's voice echoed from the next room over. It was mostly intelligible curses and complaints about not being able to go out and check the new shops that had just opened before the outbreak.

"As for Yatsu... He's mostly meditating and snacking a lot; he's fine! Fox... He goes out a lot into the desert to just wander around. He's not near people when he goes out and wanders and does his thing, so the doctors have mentioned there's no harm there!"

“Did you find something?” Nora asked.

“Yep!” Ruby declared proudly, holding up a shopping bag. “And it’s in her size and everything!”

“Awesome!” Nora said, giving Ruby a kiss on the cheek. “Let’s get up there and have her try it on.” They both then headed up the stairs towards their apartment.

Summer had just begun, and per the norm, Ruby, Nora, and Neo had already been to the beach several times. However, both Ruby and Nora had realized that Neo had been the wearing the same black one-piece swimsuit forever. When asked about it, Neo simply explained that to this day, this was the only bathing suit that ever fit her right. She explained that most swimsuits were either too loose or too restrictive. Ruby had vowed to track down something new for Neo, and today, she felt like she had managed to do just that.

Of course, she had had to make some slight modifications using her sewing skills. Neo was right: finding a swimsuit that would fit her perfectly was pretty much impossible. But now, she hoped her girlfriend would be delighted with her new suit.

Nora and Ruby entered their apartment, and Ruby immediately went down to a knee and raised the shopping bag in the air, pronouncing proudly, “Neo! We come bearing gifts!”

Neo poked her head up from the couch, pausing whatever she had been watching on the TV. She looked at the bag in Ruby’s hands, then signed to her, eyebrows knitted. “What’s that?”

Ruby giggled with excitement. “Why don’t you come and—”

“It’s your new swimsuit!” Nora told her, too excited to let Ruby finish. “Try it on!”

Neo’s eyes widened with surprise, and she hopped over the couch to take the bag from Ruby. “A new swimsuit for me?” She asked, signing with her free hand. “How?”

“I scoured the world for the perfect suit,” Ruby explained, gesturing grandly. “And to you, I have brought the spoils of my voyage.”

“Go try it!” Nora told her, hopping up and down on her toes. “Go go go!”

Neo grinned and nodded, heading to the bathroom to change. She was in there for only a couple minutes before poking her head out from within, looking towards her girlfriends.

“Do you have it on?” Ruby asked. “Does it fit?”

Neo nodded, but still only her head was beyond the doorway. Her cheeks were dusted with pink.

“Then let us see!” Nora said.

Neo let out a apprehensive sigh, then stepped out of the bathroom with her new pink bikini on. The bottoms seemingly fit her perfectly, but the top was...well, it also fit her, but the cups over her chest were a little skimpy.

Nora blushed. “Oh...you kinda fill it out a little too much, huh?”

Ruby groaned. “I thought my modifications would have fixed that.”

Neo smiled and shook her head. “What modifications? You couldn’t make these two tiny triangles any bigger?”

“I tried! But the top and bottoms were sold together, so I had to improvise with the top! I thought if I put in some more elastic, it might make it more stretchy.”

Neo sighed, grinning. “It’s cute! But I feel like it would come off as soon as I’d dive into the water.”

“Which is good, right?” Nora joked, shrugging.

“No!” Ruby yelped. “I can fix it, just gimme a little more time.”

Neo rolled her eyes. “Thank you, Ruby. I honestly like it, but...” Her hands froze mid-sign when she felt a stitch in her top pop. She looked down, and the hem on one side of her top was coming loose.

“Uh oh,” Nora said, holding back laughter.

“Gah!” Ruby cried out, dropping to her knees dramatically. “Curse you, Neo, and your unusual yet attractive body proportions! Curse youuuuu!”

Ruby, shrugging nonchalantly: I dunno. Guess they just like boobies. And hey! If it makes you feel better you won't break anything valuable this time! Its just boba tea!

Weiss, in a sarcastic tone: Ah yes! Because getting tea all over my priceless designer carpet is so much better!

Ruby:...

Ruby, narrowing her eyes and tilting her head in confusion: Theres designers for carpets?

Ruby, shaking her head and getting back on track: Whatever! Please lets just do it? For meeeee? I convinced Winter to do it and she was just fine!

Weiss, grumpily: Thats because she stole all the mammary genes on her way out of the womb.

Winter, walking into the parlor while casualy drinking from a cup of boba tea settled in between her breasts, stopping in her tracks as she notices Weiss and Ruby:...

Weiss, silently glaring at Winter while Ruby smiles awkwardly:...

Winter turns around and hastily leaves the room without saying a word, a deep blush on her face.

Weiss, narrowing her eyes while muttering under her breath: Yeah you walk away. You know what you did.

Weiss, turning back to Ruby and crossing her arms defiantly: Anyway! I'm not balancing boba tea on my chest and thats final!

Ruby, chuckling a bit before slightly unbuttoning her shirt to reveal her cleavage: When did I say you were going to do the balancing?

Weiss, as Ruby settles the cup of boba tea in between her breasts, effortlessly holding it in place without her hands: Curse you and your late growth spurt...

Ruby, poking the straw into the cup then putting her hands behind her back while smiling seductively: Come oooon.~ Come and have a sip!~

Weiss, pretending to be angry but playing along anyway: Hmph! Alright then, I suppose I can humor just this once.

Weiss, with her arms crossed, gets close to Ruby and shyly puts her lips on the straw and drinks from the cup in between her wife's bossom, her face turning red as she adverts her gaze. One of Ruby's hand eventually wanders to Weiss's waist, pulling her closer, while her other hand absentmindedly plays with her ponytail. They stayed like this for a few minutes, Ruby enjoying seeing her ice queen so flustered while Weiss wondered just how much longer it would take for the cup to finally empty itself.

Weiss, removing her lips from the straw for a short moment before resuming her drinking: You bought the biggest size just so this could drag out for as long as possible didn't you?

Ruby, smirking as she stares into Weiss's eyes and continues to run her left hand through her hair: I have no idea what your talking about.

Weiss kept drinking for a few more minutes that felt like an eternity and just as she got a third of the way though the boba tea...

Yang, walking into the room while looking down at her scroll: Yo Ruby! I just found this trend where girls balance boba tea on their tits! You should convince Weiss to do this! Its gonna be hilario-

Yang, noticing Weiss drinking from a cup of boba tea sitting in Ruby's cleavage while they hold eachother close:...

Ruby and Weiss, awkwardly staring back at Yang, still in the same position:...

RWBY Ship Headcannons #27: Theobroma

As strong as Coco is, she literally cannot get over how strong Elm is. The girl can pick her, a table, and half the other Ace Ops up without breaking a sweat and Coco has never been more in love.

Elm can and will steal and has stolen Coco’s bead necklaces. She doesn’t dare touches the shades or the beret, but the beads are different. Elm says they’re luckier than anything Clover’s Semblance can do, and she wears them under her uniform on missions.

Whenever they go to Remnant IKEA they don’t actually buy anything apart from that one time they broke a table and got a new one. They mostly just hang around and Coco judges the fabrics. Elm thinks it’s endearing until they get caught trying to use the TVs all at once ... somehow.

MATCHING. SUNGLASSES.

They trade weapons sometimes. Coco gets used to Timber eventually, but Elm doesn’t think she’ll ever be adjusted to a handbag being so lightweight yet so dense and hard-hitting.

The ship name is great and I love this pairing!!

Forgive me if this question is insensitive, but I've been curious - if you wear earbuds while listening to music, what ears do you use? Your "human" ears or your rabbit Faunus ears?

Velvet was slightly taken aback at the question but was able to giggle off the awkwardness. “I-It’s fine. I wouldn’t use my rabbit ears for that if that helps answer the questions. They’re really sensitive and loud noises already hurt... And if I played music directly into them, then that would give me such a headache! P-Plus there aren’t many uh... Headphones dedicated to fitting Faunus. Heh.”

As if to prove her point, she pulled her hair back behind her ears to show a pair of wireless earbuds in her “human” ears at that moment.

Valentine's Day is coming up soon! Are you expecting flowers and chocolate from anybody?

“I don’t ever expect anything, but I love to give my teammates all home-made chocolates! Chocolates and some blue lillies or blue roses are always fun to give them. Though for Fox I always give him something like fuzzy socks or something instead since he wouldn’t be able to enjoy the flowers’ colour. I’d rather give my friends things than receive anything anyway! Seeing them smile is always heartwarming enough as is!”

"What a lovely thought..." Velvet said as she tapped her lips with her forefinger in a thinking fashion. "I think... Maybe a photography studio! Those are always fun! Help people immortalize loved ones and events through photography so they never have to be without them!" She looked giddy at the idea, her ears sticking straight up. "Or perhaps even open up a cafe so everyone can get together with their friends and family and enjoy lovely coffee or tea! That sounds nice too!"

How did you first discover your Semblance?

“Well... To make a long story short... I-I kind of really liked watching the sparring matches back in Pharos Academy... And as I watched them, one time I was called to try and practice with them which was actually kinda scary...

“B-But! Regardless of that I accepted and I had found myself copying my opponent’s combat style almost flawlessly, beating him at his own game! So the teachers helped me learn what I was doing and then... Ta-da! Anesidora! Hehe. I figured if I could just... Always remember a fighting style and keep the weapon ‘on hand’, I’d always be able to fight in some way.”

Has Coco ever yet you use the real Gianduja? And if so, does it feel/handle differently than the hard light version you sometimes use?

“I’ve held it before! But I’ve never been allowed to fire it. The real Gianduja is really, really heavy... But nothing I can’t handle!” She faux-flexed to show that she’s confident in her strength. “The hardlight copy that I summon from Anesidora isn’t nearly as heavy and the handle grip feels much more smooth than the real one. The real one is more rough and has a better grip to it!”

Have you ever met Coco's brothers? Does she talk about them at all?

“Uhm, nope, I haven’t. And she talks about them from time to time. Normally in more emotional moments or in her sleep. But sometimes she offers information on them willingly. Like how her older brother, despite being so much stronger than her, didn’t become a Huntsman like everyone thought he would! I don’t remember but I think he owns a bakery? I-I could be wrong though... I’ll have to talk to Coco again to refresh my memory.”
