What made you start shipping them?

They’re existence. I mean. Cmon. I’ve ranted to my irl friends about these two because they are so overwhelmingly gay for each other. Between like, their one day tournament battle, their synchrome and the fact that you can 100% read Shinobu’s arc with that as a metaphor for overcoming internalized homophobia if you’re delusional enough (aka being me), it was a no brainer. ESPECIALLY when Zyro was convincing Shinobu that only he could be his synchrome partner???? That was literally a love confession nothing you say can prove me wrong it literally was

What’s your favorite thing about the ship?

Everything about them man they’re so perfect. I honestly especially love the fact that they really did not like each other at first and that it took a really long time for them to really properly bond together. I like that they’re messy and dumb and by the end of it, they’re so completely in love with each other they would probably be willing to commit heinous crimes for the other. They r my entire world I love them so much.

Unpopular opinion about this ship?

hmm I’m not sure. I don’t think I really have anything unique to say about them from what I’ve seen other people make of them

I see three styles here. One is what I learned in creative writing class: character + location + intrigue, with some flowery scene setting description for immersion. Another is short, pithy, and unexpected, makes you want to know more and easy to read a few more sentences since the first was brief. The third, starts with dialogue, tosses you right into a scene, but still lays the ground work for what the conversation might be about and, again, is unexpected enough that you want to know more about the situation.
