"What are you doing?" 

Gendry ran a palm down his drenched face, blinking back the rain determined to drown them both. Initially, he thought he'd imagined the sound of her voice; it had sounded more like the crackle of the autumn leaves below their feet on the walk here just before the sky opened up. The long stretch of silence scared him until her shoulders began to shake violently. Only then did he release his breath, certain that the shock had passed. He heard his name, blinked again, and noticed the impatient quirk of Arya's eyebrows. 

"Followed a crazy girl into the forest," he shrugged nonchalantly and unwrapped his arms from around his knees. "Seemed like a good idea at the time." 

Her features hardened as she muttered, "stupid," under her breath. "I didn't ask you to follow me."

"You didn't have to," Gendry stood carefully. The side of the rock he'd inhabited for, he checked his wrist watch, over two hours had become rather slippery. He dropped to the ground with bent knees, then headed over to where Arya sat atop her rock. His rock. Her rock. Life had not been nearly as weird before this woman. He held out a hand. "Come on. I'm done being out here." 

She didn't even acknowledge his hand. Arya studied him for a moment, then curled more into herself. "Then leave," she whispered, facing the misty scenery across the lake. 

He dropped his hand with a little more snark than he meant, then breathed heavily through his nostrils. "I'm not doing this for another two hours, short stack," he grumbled and dragged her squirming ass across the rock's rough edges. She sucker punched him underneath the chin as she fought to be released. Gendry's teeth snapped together, forcing Arya off the rock and into his arms with a grunt. "First hit was for free," he squeezed the back of her thigh to clarify his point, "next time will cost you." 

"Are you threatening me?"

Gendry adjusted her weight into a comfortable position within his arms, never imagining he would ever willfully carry a woman bridal style. He purposely didn't respond as he hiked back to the park trail, amused by her usual indignation when they shared space. The same spark kept him coming back for more each time, lighting something inside he thought long dead. He would do anything to keep that same spark from ever being extinguished again, even if it meant keeping a distance. 

That was until today. 

Gendry hated to admit it, but when he saw Arya's spark dull inside that church, he'd never been more afraid. She'd used most of its energy to remain strong during the ceremony. He watched as she gave little by little to those around her without accepting any comfort in return until there was nothing left for herself. So when the opportunity arose to cause a scene and allow her an exit, he didn't hesitate. That was all it took for her to rush out the back and into the dreary woods. 

"Hey!" She tightened her arms around his neck, clinging to him as he stumbled over the root of a nearby tree. Gendry reached for the trunk to steady his balance, then quickly glanced down to ensure he hadn't dropped her. He patted her gently on her bum with a chuckle. She smacked his shoulder. "Just let me down. I can walk."

The humor died on his lips as he straightened and wrapped his arm back in its rightful place. "And risk you getting away? Not a chance," he shook his head. "I won't let go."

"Famous last words," Arya gritted, now eyeing the ground in search of more obstacles. His bark of laughter startled her, bringing her glassy grey eyes up to him. He could tell she didn't know if he was making fun of her or not. "Watch where you're going," she ordered as she broke eye contact and pointed to another bunch of roots that had begun to curve upward from the ground. 

"As m'lady commands," Gendry snickered and choked on another laugh, murder clearly written across her face. "Anyone tell you you're cute when you're mad?" 

"I'm about to be real fucking adorable in a minute," she smacked him against the shoulder again. 

He halted, the humor slipping away as he dropped Arya to her feet. Using her confusion and his weight, Gendry pressed her against the tree they were about to pass. Air left her lungs as her back hit the trunk. His hand cradled her head to cushion any discomfort. She glanced from one eye to the other, then to his lips. The shudder of her lips as she slowly inhaled made him feel bold. He placed his other hand on Arya's hip, his fingertips slipping beneath the drenched blouse and finding skin. "That's two, princess," he leaned forward to brush the tip of his nose against her. "Don't play a game you can't afford to lose."  Extended version will be on Ao3 later.

My comfort personified 🥺

Sharing some snippets of how much peace and support my bb’s giving me. 🥺 It’s been almost 4 months since our paths crossed, and since then he brought nothing but light and balance. All my life, I’ve been the ray of sunshine, the giver. This time, I think I found myself my equal.

It’s funny how we’re both same and different at the same time. Mind you, these differences aren’t a hassle at all. Never have I met someone with an unusual mindset. Someone who’s so strong, yet so gentle. Someone who isn’t settling on gray areas. Someone who always makes a stand. Someone who doesn’t tolerate bullshit, yet willing to support you and your bs in life too.

One month ago, I was diagnosed with MDD. Since then, the everyday battle has been extra heavy. In a way, I still feel in denial that there’s something wrong in me. It’s hard to be in an everyday battle with your own thoughts. Thank God and all my lucky stars that I’m with someone so patient. I’ll always be grateful for crossing paths with somebody willing to listen to me, and to cheer me up. Someone who’s willing to help me mend a heart he didn’t break, willing to nurture a soul he didn’t even traumatize. Sometimes, I still contemplate the things that I should tell bc ofc I don’t wanna be a burden, he doesn’t deserve another load to carry. The mere fact that he’s willing to lend an ear, and to give me comfort’s definitely enough right now.

Back then, I’m used to keep things to myself. To go through things alone bc I always felt like a burden. I think this time, the universe wanted me to realize that it’s okay to ask for help. It’s okay to unload my shit at times. I really can’t thank Axel enough for everything he’s been doing for and with me. I still get scared that he might get fed up too, that’s why I’m also doing my best to be better and ofc to rely on myself first. I’m just grateful that I get to have someone willing to give me comfort. 🥺 Even the sun doesn’t get to shine at times, so I’m thankful that I have my very own source of light too.

I hope I’d get to keep him and his light for a very long time. Until then, I’d take care of him and his light too.

Okay, so I wanna go on for a bit here.

In the Dragon cry sketches, we actually saw Mashima draw a suit as Capricorn's SD which was actually perfect for his taste and clothing choice. AND his own personality. But Mashima also drew another SD, which was most probably a Draco constellation dress, not sure. And I'm most definitely sure he merged the two designs to come up with the current one.

Personally, as a dress I love the design of the current one but as a SD of a spirit like Capricorn, it is awful and doesn't make sense at all. Like I agree that the dresses are to reflect the personalities and choices of the spirits themselves. Capricorn choosing a outfit like that doesn't sit right with me.

Ofc Leo's would be a gorgeous gown, Aries' would be a cute and soft and fluffy dress, Taurus' would be a sexy one(tho I'd have loved if Lucy got a jacket with the bikini top), Saguttarius' would be a beautiful green shooter-type(I actually love how the anime added extra black leggings), Virgo's would be a maid costume, the Aquarius one being bikini makes sense, Cancer's is the most amazing with Lucy having twin blades to counter the enemies(and I'd have loved to see Cancer wield big scissors instead of the small ones). AND then the Gemini and Scorpio designs are my most fav ones (as SDs). A badass hairtyle like Scorpio and a red scorpion tail to top it off. The Gemini one actually goes with their magic type since it's actually a lot like real magic, how they copy people and transform. So the magician-ish dress is perfect!

But did you see the AxS design, I hate it even more than the AxG one. The design makes even less sense than the recent one. It looks like a nonsensical costume that seems like can do heavy lifting but actually can't. Lucy has literally no use of those robot-ish parts of the mix. It was used as a way of adding some unwanted fanservice. And with the recent mix, I have lost hope of getting proper outfits. At this point I don't want any, literally any SD to merge with Aquarius. It'll inevitably ruin the dress.

The most modest ones like Scorpio's and Gemini's unique outfits turned into a sturdy bikini and the other one a glittering bikini made me give up hope. I don't even look at outfits now, only consider her achievements. I've talked about it many times how ridiculous it seems for Lucy to suddenly loose her clothes in a battle. I'm tired of it now.

But I've seen many people say, "Lucy did nothing except get naked" or "Laxus did all the work" or "she's JUST fanservice and no might" and I do think they're the vocal Lucy haters. But in general, people complaining about the dress mix aren't them. And I share the same feelings.

Capricorn’s SD is really sad to see. I begrudgingly admit it’s kinda cool as it is, not going to lie, love the glasses and the braids and the sexy mature cut on the dress, it manages to set itself apart from Loke’s despite both being off-shoudler dresses, but it just... why, Mashima? Why? Capricorn would never approve of this! Where is the super serious butler that respected Layla? Layla (and Anna, now that I think about it) are some of the most modestly-dressed women in the show, so I definitely believe Capricorn would want Lucy to dress like them simply because he knows she’ll look good in it. 

Yes! the base star dresses all look beautiful. I do think some of them could be better or more developed to the spirits (Cancer and Sagittarius are a bit strange because they don’t match the spirit appearances at all, but eh, that’s details), but as single designs, they are all wonderful for what they are, Capricorn aside. I love Aquarius’ the most because it’s a bikini, but it’s at least more functional and comfortable than panties and a bra. It’s a really good balance between fanservice and genuinely something I’d want to wear if I had the assets to pull it off. I love that some of them gave Lucy more combat abilities as well (Cancer, for example). I do kind of wish Loke’s was a bit more functional though, since his main thing is close combat. But it makes sense for him, so it’s fine. The concept of the dresses is just so fun. I could talk about them, both positively and negatively, forever. 

Oh dear I agree. AxS is awful. There was way too much robot against the stupid swimsuit and it just looked bad. But I at least appreciated the creativity, you know? Honestly, I feel we could have found a balance with a thinner tail or shorter glove/boots, Mashima just didn’t try too hard since it only showed for a panel or two. It needs to be reworked so badly. 

AxG was just a swimsuit. Just a swimsuit. They couldn’t even retain any of the magician/clown parts of Gemini, that seriously annoys me! And Aquarius’ contribution is even worse, does Mashima know that mermaid-cut dresses exist? MERMAID? Aquarius can be something other than a typical swimsuit, geez! And they can be ASYMMETRICAL and layered, too! It’s perfect for a Gemini fusion! 

I think it’d have been great if the fusions weren’t literally mixing them together, but the product of “what would both spirits give Lucy?” Honestly, I think among the spirits, Aquarius and Scorpio are totally the type to give you crap about your fashion sense. Aquarius is a very girly girl, and Scorpio is a rockstar! Choosing what to give Lucy as a fusion star dress would be like, a funny way to actually give these two depth in their relationship. Like, their first time ever having a disagreement. 

...I wish the spirits still got personality exploration... I’m sad now...

As for your final point-- you know what? You’re right. Haters gonna hate on that regard. Love to see Lucy finishing a battle on her own, and it’s sad that even after coming this far and going as far as using the spirits’ powers, her achievements are still credited to the damn guys around her. People who think that way are never going to change their minds, they’ve already decided what they think about it.

Tbh, the past month has shaken me to my core, and I’m really glad that it was Axel who kept me from shattering. Lagi niyang sinasabi na I made him feel like a person, na I made him feel valued but he also did the same for me. More than what I asked for pa nga yung mga nagawa niya for me. He’s the one who checked on me the most when I was on my darkest days, when I wanted to shut people off and just crumble down, his constant reassurance kept me going.

Sabi ko nga I really think that I wouldn’t run out of gratitude for those days where he chose to send me messages telling me not to skip my meals, to take care of myself, and to offer comfort just to let the bad vibes go away though he also had his own battles to fight. Sabi nila the moon gets it light from the sun, but for me it was the other way around. I got my light from him. He served as a shoulder where I leaned on, my rock even in just a short period of time. My very own moonshine.

Words aren't enough for me to say how grateful I am the day we met, he never left my side since then, he never failed to give me comfort when he saw how down I am. Beyon grateful for my baby for making me feel that I am worthy of all the softness and gentleness in life. Thankful for letting me be vulnerable and that it’s okay not to be strong when I’m with him cause at the end of the day, he got my back.

I hope he’d always remember that I will do the same, and that I am just by his side (even miles apart) when he needs me and even when he doesn’t. Laging siya yung nagwoworry if he’s lacking or what, pero a big part of me worries too!!! I never want to make him feel like he doesn’t deserve the best and all the gentleness that the world (and I) could ever offer too. I’m very grateful because since then he made each day easier and bearable talaga, bb!! Thank God he shoot his shot talaga.

I think Riven x Musa is the couple most waited because they are the most real one. SxB, AxG, MxS, TxK feels like fairy romance. When you think about it Riven and Musa got closer once Musa had lost her power, we know very well that Riven is very pudic with his feelings.

Therefore she couldn't read what riven felt. If there is something next 😏, it will have been the beginning of a true romance without power on both sides. Very human and not magical.

What can make it complicated is the fact that Musa can read Riven, which Riven doesn't like but we will see.

After seeing @faireswhereugoing 's post about animation of the 100 YQ, I have a few things to say-

The Animation Of 100YQ

In the og series, they added a few small stories, the ones I recall are- endurance race, Natsu finding Kemokemo, the team defeating the giant frog monster.... Then the ovas. I really want them to add these kinds of short lighthearted stories in between the running plot. I think the 3 extra chapters featuring Nalu, Jerza, Gajevy along with the one with Brandish will get animated as a single episode. Gruvia side chapter was a part of the story so Ig they'll just add that before the scene when the team gets transported to Elentir. The Faris one too, prolly will be added as a scene after the guild being shown whited out by her. All in all, I want the fun episodes more (minus the unnecessary explicit fanservice in the ovas).

No more depicting Juvia as a stalker and ruining her character. Mashima has taken that too far, no more. Just add more Gajuvia brotp!

Except for the ooc dragon egg side chapter, the animation team did a pretty good job maintaining the originality of the Nalu scenes from the manga. Even added a few heartwarming moments, so I'll be expecting more lol. Cuz why not-

I want them to change the Jerza bondage scene, and the part where Gray swallows naked Juvia, also omit all the times Lucy loses clothes in the middle of a dire situation for the sake of gag. Pls Cencor the Erza gets tortured for the nth time scenes properly.

They should also change(and prolly will) Lucy's AxS and AxG SDM design and make it nice instead of just adding scraps of clothes. I want the coordination of the colors and symbols of the spirits to be better.

I wonder how they'll animate Natsu vs Youkai Lucy? Or Selene and her lackies tying up Gray and Natsu. The Natsu vs Lucy fight has quite a lot fanservice, I wish they don't cut any scenes, rather just cenceroring Lucy's getup will be fine.

But I don't want them to do unnecessary cencoring on the blood and all. It just reduces the effects of the situation.
