i feel stuck in a cycle of obsessing over wanting to write and what to write that i never get anything done. i have so many ideas, but when it comes time to put words on the page, my mind goes blank.

Can somebody give me a step-by-step guide on how to give condolences to someone who lost a loved one ??? Because I don't know how and need help.

Also how do you apologize to someone after potentially making things worse after they go to you for condolences while they're grieving? Because my really close friends know not to go to me for that stuff, since I make things worse, but for this friend, they're an acquaintance I want to get to know better. And I think I ruined it. Please help.
