Hi dev I know you answered where you find turkish shows and stuff to download but how do you discover turkish actors? what makes you like ones more than the others since there doesn't seem to be a lot of your type aka redheads?

The last part has me SCREECHING. Also that is Elcin Sangu erasure and she is the loml. Recently discovered Ahsen Eroglu too thanks to tess.

In all honestly though I have a select few favourites and I end up discovering a few of the others through that. But mostly I discovered people through the amazing people I consider my friends who gif turkish people and like Tess and Mina were like the first people I really saw this content from and I messaged Tess asking if she could point me in the direction to like watch and download these things and she was the loveliest person in the world to me about it.

But I do have a top 10 and I can say the only person I found by myself just randomly scrolling the fox site is Ceren Yilmaz. Everyone else you see me loving is because of the people I'm tagging and honestly they're just amazing people to follow and see the gifs of and their personalities are amazing so check them out especially if you want to get into giffing/finding turkish people to gif!

Mina and Nare also help and have introduced me to like everyone I love in brazilian media so like not the topic but like all the love double to them.

Hello! It's okay and no problem, but sorry I can't help much. I haven't really been active on social media lately for various reasons, so I can't really help with that. Hi dev I notice you post a fair few gif packs of turkish fcs and wondered if you take requests? or only gif your preferences?

Hey hey anon!! I do take suggestions and am always open to finding new fcs to fall in love with so suggest away! Turkish packs take me a bit though especially if there isn't an Arabic version (where they're cut into 45 minute episodes) but for sure suggest away! Though for gifs I would also suggest checking out @tessgifs @aycaysin @usermina @usernare @ozgesyagiz @peachygifs @gifsbymel @tonkinwrites / @soobiinms @rorygifs @wooshikie as they're all the ones that I can remember off hand who make packs of turkish fcs a lot! I know I'm missing some but my memory is bad and that's just who i recall seeing in my tag recently <3

hi babe!! you're not coming across as stupid at all. i'm gonna paste @aycaysin's response to this from her faq, hopefully that'll help you figure it out what to do for your muses :)

Q. is it okay to have a non turkish first name if you give your muse a turkish surname? i feel like especially if the muse was born in america, it’s common for parents to name their children anglicized versions of their first names or to give them first names that aren’t necessarily representative of their ethnicity?

there’s bunch of turkish names that could work internationally too. try to choose a name that could work with both. like i mentioned in my post about turkish names, it’s happening more often that turkish fcs are getting non-turkish names. to me, this is just an excuse to use a non-turkish name. i was born in another country as well but i’m still turkish with a turkish first name. as for example, melisa asli pamuk was born in the netherlands and still has a turkish name but also a name that could work internationally.

*   𝐀𝐍𝐎𝐍𝐘𝐌𝐎𝐔𝐒 𝐀𝐒𝐊𝐄𝐃   :   why must turkish fcs have turkish names? doesn't that ignore adoption and marriage? or is it a cultural thing? no hate, i just see this rule in a few groups and genuinely don't understand

it comes down to what turkish individuals have asked the rpc for, which is respect being shown to their culture and naming conventions and which is truly the bare minimum that we can all do as a community. since i myself am not turkish, i want to direct you towards dee at aycaysin, where they’ve posted about this before ( x ) and have a dedicated faq with further information ( x ). they’ve also answered many questions about this and have actually helped me directly in the past, and their masterlists are my favorites of the bunch. tess from tessgifs has also posted about this ( x, includes links to said masterlists and a few others which may be helpful ), and i think that one line answers what you’re asking more directly - ‘i have heard from more than one turkish person that even turkish people born/raised in other countries still typically have a turkish name.’ it’s not ignoring anything, in my opinion, and it just isn’t that hard to do. even setting aside the fact that it’s the respectful thing to do when asked by the people it directly affects ( and i don’t think it should be put aside, but just as an added point ), it’s also required by a lot of these gifmakers to even use their many well made resources in the first place. there are hundreds of face claims you can name anything you want or attach any storyline to, at your leisure, but there’s now an abundance of gifs for all these gorgeous face claims that have just one requirement, and i don’t feel like it’s justified to jump through hoops to explain why they don’t have a name that won’t harm you to give them !

hello, I was wondering if you have any advice when it came to naming and playing a turkish FC?

hello ! my advice would honestly be to just be respectful, like you would (or should) be of any other fc of color. like giving a proper name, being conscientious of the fact that most turkish people are muslim (and therefore would likely adhere to muslim customs - eating halal, prayer, etc.). things like that ! i'm not turkish myself so i would recommend asking  @aycaysin for a more in depth answer. she also has a masterlist of both first & last names to help you find a fitting choice for your character.
