BEAUTY IS A MYTH. VISUAL REPRESENTATION IS REAL. If you fit the false description of beauty that is set by the society , you are deemed acceptable. And if you don’t, you might be able to buy the desirable look and become so. This leaves the majority of women feeling shame or that they fall short. These standards, often expressed as visual representations of women, are not representative. In recent years, there has been some attempts of body positivity resulting in media adaption of relatable imagery that reflects women of all colours, shapes, sizes and identities. But we still have a very long way to go. I am trying to introduce ideals and new “standards” into the mix, painting a more realistic picture of what I think true beauty is all about and also what it means to be human.
