Who is/are your writer-crush(es)?

Haha this is an interesting ask. There are so many amazing writers here that inspire me deeply! I really don't have nearly enough time to read them all. I don't know that any of them qualify as my crushes per say, but I admire and respect all of them. I always fall a little in love with anyone who has a way with words. 😉 I will list a few below who I can remember off the top of my head (please don't take this as a complete list, since there are so many that I am sure I will forget! I hate these kinds of things because my working memory isn't always very good.)

Favorite color: electric blue

Currently reading: this? Like honestly lately the extent of my reading is Tumblr and trying to keep up on all my discord servers... deep, I know.

Last movie watched: Home (I LOVE that movie!)

Last series watched: ummm so I am currently on like 3 different series.. I get to watch like 10 minutes at a time if I'm lucky. I FINISHED "Live Up to Your Name". I'm currently on "Memories of Alhambra", "Halston", "The Crown", and "Self Made".

Sweet, spicy, or savory: yes, yes, and yes, preferably together!! (I really love spicy, something with kick is best!)

Craving: the Big R from The Pizza Factory. Best pizza of my life. I miss it!

Coffee or tea: usually tea if I can relax(any kind, I love it all), but I don't know how to function without my coffee on a work morning.

Currently working on: turning surviving into thriving and finding joy in the small things even when events don't go my way, letting go of past hurts and becoming the lover, friend, mother that I wished I had in my life. (Oh I’m so sorry... was this supposed to mean like hobbies or something? :P)

Quick. While everyone's asleep, because this is beginning to feel like an exercise in Narcissism :D 

1. I have a huge heart 

2. I am selfless

3. I have a mind that often strays outside the box

4. I am good at finding positives though not to the point of ignoring negatives

5. I am strong enough to embrace my weaknesses.

I am all for spreading positivity, but cannot for the life of me pick favourites among all the lovely freaks that check out what I throw out here, so I call on any of my followers who feel like it to do this and tag me, so I can hug you in an entirely uncreepy way as my favourite follower for the day :D

Pressure Differential

When i was a kid, i went looking for a bus, by climbing a tree, to get a better view. The following fall smashed my Radius and Ulna in a fairly spectacular fashion, but being young, they healed very well, even the small scars from where bits of bone broke the skin fades quickly.

A year later a cycle accident broke the same bones in the same place. This time it was three months in plaster, through the summer of 1976, the hottest summer for decades.

As i am getting older the bones occasionally throb, either in time with my pulse, or at a rate seemingly in sync with the movement of the air around me. This tends to co-inside with changes in the weather, particularly if there is a big change in barometric pressure coming. I can’t forecast the rain, or sun, but i know when a change is coming.

It always strikes me that you might expect this kind of thing to fade with the years, not become more acute, but, then, physical injuries aren’t the only thing to cause pangs of hurt to pierce you deeper as the years roll by.
