Tag Team AU Synopsis – Pre-Canon Events
Synopsis Masterpost Link
Next [Covention]
Alright! Let's get started. This is the beginning of a Very Boring Blow-By-Blow Explanation of the whole Tag Team AU.
Luz falls into the water of the Old Gravesfield cemetery at age 7. Her dad had just died a few days prior – noteworthy because she has not read the first Azura book yet. The water is infused with Titan’s blood, and she is shunted to the demon realm.
Luz finds herself in the woods near the Emperor’s castle during a storm, and she quickly finds out this place is out to get her. She learns to run first and ask questions later, at least until a 9 year-old Hunter discovers her on a mission. The basilisks broke out during the storm, so the coven has all hands on deck hunting them down.
Luz and Hunter quickly become friends, once Luz realizes he’s not going to eat her skin. Hunter sneaks her food during the next few days until actual coven scouts find her hiding out. They bring her back to the castle, thinking she’s a basilisk in disguise, and she is brought before Emperor Belos. Hunter sees her brought in, and quickly comes to her defense saying that she’s harmless.
Belos, confronted with a human for the first time in centuries, immediately locks onto how quickly Hunter comes to her aid. Seeing an opportunity to maybe have a successful grimwalker clone of Caleb this time around, he takes Luz in and gives Hunter full responsibility for her, just as Caleb did for Philip. He lies and says he will look for a way to get Luz back home, but until then she has to keep the fact that she is human a secret – who knows what witches will do to her if they find out what she is.
Hunter does not take this well, and his and Luz’s relationship sours quickly as they’re forced to stay together.
Tumblr media
It isn’t until Belos tells Luz around the one-year mark that it may be impossible for Luz to get back home, that Hunter and Luz start actually getting along – Hunter realizes how terrible he has been to her, and Luz starts putting down roots. It’s also around this time that Eberwolf meets Luz and gifts her Backup, the gildersnake. (He probably would have been named stringbean if I had written this part post season 3.)
Meanwhile, Vee successfully escapes the Emperor’s Coven on the day Luz arrives and eventually makes her way to Eda the Owl Lady, who takes her in. Eda worries about Vee being in danger in the Boiling Isles, especially with Eda’s not-very-low profile, and she doesn’t get a solution until one of her ventures into the human realm, where she is suddenly held at bat-point by Camila.
Camila is heartbroken, having lost her husband and her daughter in the span of a week, and she still believes that Luz is still out there. Especially when she sees a strange woman appear in town doing strange things, and disappearing into a houseless door. After tracking her down to the old abandoned shack, she jumps Eda and demands/pleads for help finding her daughter in the witch’s world. Eda agrees to look for Luz, and asks for help with her Vee situation in return. They make a deal: Camila takes Vee in, and Eda comes by every week or so with updates on if she has found Luz + Vee’s magic food.
Back to the siblings: Luz has been raised as a scout alongside Hunter. She rediscovers Azura at age 10 (Hunter age 12), and organizes a small book club with other coven scouts. Through many shenanigans, it turns into a blown out shipping war that splits the coven apart for 3 months. It only ends when Belos publicly chastises Luz, restricts her creative work, and bans Azura from the castle.
(Link to the Azura Incident fanfic can be found here.)
Hunter, realizing the power and creativity that Luz has from this incident, confronts her. He’s been trying to think of a way to use wild magic to heal Belos, and he wants her help. She accepts immediately, because if there’s a way to save a father figure in her life she’s going to try her hardest. She eventually learns her first glyph with Hunter: Light.
Over the course of the next few years, Luz and Hunter find the rest of the elemental glyphs, they are officially made into the Golden Guards, and they start experimenting with glyph combos. There’s the Iced-Over Conformatorium Incident, where they create the Super Glyph (the one Eda made in Escaping Expulsion) and have to deconstruct it under pressure while it takes over the Conformatorium, and the Smoke-Bomb Incident, where they try to combine different magic items with the smoke combo glyph to see if Belos could inhale their magic essence that way. They don’t get caught either time, but Lilith strongly suspects it’s them.
Hunter also gets his magic staff when he becomes a Golden Guard, although Luz is told she isn’t old enough to wield one yet. This holds up until she turns 14 – the same age Hunter was when he got his staff – and she is still told that she can’t have one.
This is where the comic starts. You guys know this to a degree already. Luz and Hunter make a deal with Eda to learn wild magic. Hunter takes Luz’s place in canon, etc etc. Everything up until the end of Teenage Abomination was written in comic form which is WAY COOLER THAN THIS. IF YOU DONT KNOW WHATS GOING ON READ THE COMIC RIGHT NOW. HERE'S THE FIRST PART.

TOH x Wednesday/Addams Family AU/ Luz Noceda-Addams
Luz: Papi, Mama, Mama Morta, this is the girl who has burn my heart this past few months, Amity Blight.
Amity, blushing: Hello, uh, Luz's parent.
Gomez: So you the one who has been tormenting my little nova! So wonderful to meet you!
Morticia: Quite dreadful to meet you, my dear.
Camila: It so nice to meet you, mija.
Gomez: So, my flashing light, how did you two meet?
Amity, embarrass: Well, actually-
Luz: It was so romantic! It was love at first sight! Amity suggested to our principal to do a vivisection, my heart almost stop! When I saw her smug satisfaction as my demise draw near, I knew she was the one.
Amity: Wait, I didn't mean to-!
Gomez: Oh how romantic!
Morticia: How terrifying beautiful. It remains me how Gomez and I meet.
Gomez: Yes, I mistaken my love's dorm room - Camila: wait, where you in a sex separate dorm? - for Morticia and slept on her bed. Once she realized there was an intruder, she lunged at me with her knife. In that moment, my heart was stabbed with love!
Luz: Yes! Exactly like that, Papi! A few days later, in the Covention, I challenged her to a witch duel - just like from Azura!- to defend King's honor. There were times we both could be kill in the fight, but we both call in a draw once it was unconceal our mentor cheated for us. And I show her my merit being a witch!
Amity: Well, I didn't think the fight will escalate that fast-
Gomez: A duel!? Cara mia, hold me; this passion, this tension! It's gripping me like a python!
Luz: And then, under an enchanting moonlight, we were pursued by a conjured book monster! We were almost bind to a book too! Yet we victorious, bound by fate!
Amity: Okay, that was my siblings fault-
Gomez: My heart could only take so much-!
Morticia: Oh, nothing fester young love than almost being bind in a book.
Luz: By then, as Fate already tether us together, we defeated a monster fueled by fear! We waltz under a full moon, our love burns us, powers us as we defeated it and blossom a tree in its wake. And we were inseparable since then.
Amity: Okay, I wasn't truly at fault for that. I-
Gomez: Vivisection, duel, pursued by a monster, even a waltz!? Morticia, my plum-lipped cupid, bury me for as my greatest mistake's story has murder me!
Morticia: Oh how abysmally beautiful! We must plan the wedding at once now! Lurch-Lurch I need you here- I'm thinking a Winter wedding, where the trees are most dead, and season depression is at its zenith.
*Amity and Camila watch as Gomez lays limp and Luz, Morticia, and Lurch talk animatedly*
Amity: I am... so confused right now.
Camila: Welcome to my world, mija.
------
*some time later*
Wednesday: I see you almost become pathetic like our parents now.
Luz: One day, perhaps you too will experience what our parents and I go through.
Wednesday: Please, I will not be capture by asinine lust; I will endure.
------
* a year later, Wednesday is being hug by her marred and bloody roommate, Enid. She is captured of Enid's beauty, seeing her under the moonlight*
Wednesday: Oh, oh no.

Thinking about Princess AU again this morning (as one does) and here's a thought: After she disappeared and was presumed dead, Camila and Manny would never forget her birthday. And every year they'd go out and buy something that they think Luz would love at the age she would be so that if she ever came back they'd have years worth of missed birthday gifts to give her. When Luz is finally ready to hear about her dad Camila brings her the last gift Manny picked out before he died: the Azura Books
OUGH.

You said that asks may help you formulate your au thoughts and prompt you to talk about it so if it helps- I'm very curious about the cliffhanger the last lore dump left us on, re: Luz! Very curious to see how she fits into all of this. Sidenote about hunters deal: is Belos like. A stagemom in this au? A stage uncle? Highly entertaining if so. Demoted in power but still just as evil
Hmm!! Yeah I think it would absolutely be easier to drop info about the AU in little bits at a time depending on what questions I get. I've already thought about almost everybody in this AU and where they're situated but I guess I was getting overwhelmed with thinking about writing it all down at once.
Anyways!! Miss Luz Noceda!!
In this universe, the "fancy hospital" was located in California so Luz and her parents packed up and moved from Conneticut when she was a little kid. Her Dad Manny spent a few years drifting away, slowly at first, and then all at once. And Luz, a girl who's already a bright and imaginative storyteller, falls deeply in love with the fantasy book he left her.
What begins as a healthy coping mechanism devolves into escapism as Luz desperately clings to fiction in order to endure the difficulty of real life. School is hard, making friends is hard and nobody really understands her hobbies and passions, not even her mom (Even if she tries. She tries so hard.)
Living on the outskirts of the world of showbusiness, Luz quickly takes an interest in the magic of the screen. More than anything else, Luz wants to create. And creation comes in many forms and she has no intention of being confined to just one. Luz wants to be an actor, a writer, a director, an artist, an animator, a singer, a dancer, etc etc.
It's when her mom Camila finally puts her foot down and insists that Luz needs to learn to separate fantasy from reality, that her life really kicks off.
The Reality Check Center, an after school program which Luz is meant to attend every week day at 3:30pm sharp.
But after meeting somebody special, this is not where Luz goes every day after school.
Instead, Luz is hanging out in the house of Edalyn Clawthorne, an ex-starlet who Luz recognized on sight as Hecate in the 1980s Azura film adaption.
It's always been a mystery why Eda did not reprise her role for any of the sequels/spinoffs that Hollywood churned out for years afterwards. But upon meeting her and learning a little more of her story, Luz learns the truth from behind the scenes.
Eda has a chronic autoimmune disease and she was considered too "inconvenient" to have as a star of the franchise, so she was quietly let go after the first film released. She hasn't acted since and really has no intention of returning to that life.
Luz idolizes Eda and quickly latches on to her, demanding that she be her mentor and show her the ropes of showbiz. Eda hems and haws for a while before being worn down by Luz's persistent enthusiasm.
Luz meets Willow when the latter is trying to talk herself out of having a complete meltdown and the two quickly bond over being a pair of neurodivergent academically and socially challenged silly billies.
Willow is weak for pretty girls so she lets Luz talk her into sneaking her on set. Predictably, Luz causes havoc and gets banned from the premises within a few hours.
But that's okay! Because guess what! Turns out Luz is a perfect third musketeer for the funky little friend group Willow and Gus already had going on.
Luz does tons of stuff. She writes fanfiction. She has several notebooks full of anime art. But most notably, she has a YouTube channel.
Remember mid 2000s YouTube? Before it became the corporate husk that it is today? Back when it was just kids dicking around and posting their dumb silly vlogs.
Thats what Luz does. She posts dumb silly vlogs. She infodumps to the camera about her interests, she films herself while she's out with her friends. She just has fun, yknow?
Willow and Gus have fun too. Considering they are featured in like 90% of Luz's videos, laughing and joking around with her. But thats not all they do.
Willow, who has spent several months being the butt of the joke in the the Hexside show, is experiencing what it's like to be behind a camera while being respected and loved.
Willow is an exceptionally talented rollerskater. So of course Luz is filming her do tricks around the skatepark, whooping and hollering and chanting her name. Willow has a huge interest in botany. And superhero comics. And photography. And romcoms. And Luz will let her share fun facts about her interests, or maybe even babble for a bit, and Luz will act as though she's privileged to speak to a professor of the subject. It makes Willow blush and giggle, pretending it's not a big deal.
It's a huge deal actually.
It's through Luz's vlogs that Willow's authentic personality finally bleeds through the screen. Willow Park is not Paulina. She's not ditzy. She's not unobservant. She's something else entirely.
Willow Park is soft spoken but opinionated. She is witty and expressive. She's tough and sporty. She's wise beyond her years. She's wild and mischievous. She's sweet and silly. She's so many things that she'll make your head spin.
The scripts of the final Hexside S1 episodes are beginning to trickle out around this time and honestly? The writers are sick of Paulina. They're tired of the character. They're tired of the "She's stupid" joke. They feel like they've hit a brick wall with her, in a creative sense. But now they have Season 2 to work on and...ugghhh...
That's when one writer just happens to stumble across TheGoodWitchLuzura on YouTube and finds two young actors that they know very well, just existing outside of the set.
Willow is different on Luz's videos. While on set around the likes of Amity and Adrian, she simply keeps quiet, keeps her head down and does what she's told. She doesn't really spark any inspiration, yknow?
But after seeing this? This bright, sharp witted, skater girl on a griny camera recording? Well after seeing that, they really start feeling the urge to maybe spruce up Paulina's character a bit. Make her a little more compelling.
So, in that way, Luz Noceda completely changed Willow Park's life.
Willow still doesn't think she believes in God but if angels exist, Luz is definitely one of them.
If you said this to Luz, she'd disagree. She'd prefer to be a Demon >:3
________
ANYWAY!! On to the Belos question.
See, I think I'm going to take inspiration from the show's canon version of the Wittebane family as an endless cycle of pain and suffering.
Philip and Caleb Wittebane were a pair of orphan boys that managed to somehow weasel their way into the spotlight at an early age. It fed them well. It kept a roof over their heads. So that meant that this was a nice life, right?
The two brothers were considered timeless stars and their names would go down in history as some of Hollywood's finest.
In the year 1990, Caleb Wittebane was found dead in his home at the age of 30. Based on the evidence, it appeared he had taken his own life.
Philip was then given custody of his brother's infant son and promised that the boy would be raised to understand just what a wondrous legacy his father left behind.
Caleb Wittebane may have been buried 6ft under but Philip had no intention of letting him die. His DNA was still preserved, attached to this fat clump of an infant.
This baby was Caleb's second chance to live. Philip was going to make sure his stupid brother made the right choices this time.
Caleb wasn't going to throw it all away this time. Philip wouldn't let him.

I need hurt/reallyFluffycomfort rn:
Beardo Philip and Camilla favouring Alma more, and Luz feels awful. Make sure it has a happy ending too!
A Wonderful Person And Daughter
(Based on these au headcanons by @livvychoclate)
Tears were streaming down Luz's cheeks as she packed the essentials she needed in her backpack while in her bedroom at night: snacks, money, extra clothes, her anime jacket, a toothbrush, toothpaste, and soap.
She also slipped in her Azura book so that she'd have something to read while on the road.
The teen was planning on running away from home and finding a new town to live in.
Luz really loved her mother with all her heart and she was slowly, but surely, starting to warm up to the idea of Beardo Philip being her stepdad.
However, ever since Alma, her little sister, came into the family, she's been feeling especially left out.
Alma received so much attention from Philip and Camila that they rarely had time to spend with Luz.
Their lack of nerdy activities together made Luz wonder if they had as much love for her as they did for Alma.
Luz's third sibling, a newborn, only added to her feeling of isolation from Philip and Camila, as he received the most attention.
Luz had a love for both her siblings, but she didn't enjoy feeling alone.
It was impossible for Luz not to blame herself.
She must have done something wrong for Camila and Philip to stop caring about her.
Perhaps it was due to her being the only child from her mother's previous relationship.
She felt like a mistake.
Putting both arms through the shoulder straps of her backpack, Luz headed towards the door and opened it.
"Goodbye," She whispered sadly as she took one last look at her room before closing the door.
...
While seated at the dining room table, Luz began to compose a goodbye letter with a pencil.
She sniffled as she wrote it, trying to avoid wetting the paper with her tears.
The letter was concise.
Dear Mom and Philip, I'm sorry for being such a horrible person and daughter. I plan on taking the bus to a new town. I'll miss you both.
- Luz
After writing the letter, Luz opened the front door and left on her own.
Her departure left her with tears in her eyes that spilled over her waterline and sorrowful sobs that clawed their way up her throat.
...
Philip and Camila were in a blissful state of sleep while their newborn rested between them as they snuggled in bed.
When Philip slowly awoke, opening his eyes, he turned towards his beautiful wife and baby, and couldn't help but smile softly at both of them.
"I'll be right back," He gently whispered to them as he got up and went downstairs for a glass of water.
...
Flicking the kitchen light switch, Philip walked towards the cabinet and opened it, grabbing a glass cup.
Approaching the sink, he turns on the water and fills his cup with an appropriate amount.
He then turns the faucet off.
As Philip drew his cup to his lips, he noticed a piece of paper lying on top of the dining room table.
Setting his cup down on the counter, he walked over to the table and picked up the writing paper.
Philip's blue eyes widened as he scanned the heart-wrenching words that were written down and immediately rushed out of the front door without delay, nearly forgetting to close it.
...
As her backpack sat beside her on the bus, Luz sighs in sadness.
She really was going to miss Gravesfield.
"Luz!" Her ears perk up at the sound of a male voice calling out to her from outside.
The tone was filled with agony.
"Huh?" As Luz looks out of her window, she sees Philip running on the sidewalk after the bus with a panicked look on his face.
"Philip?" Luz whispered as she got out of her seat.
"Wait, stop! I wanna get off!"
The bus driver stops the bus and Luz runs down the aisle and jumps off.
Luz then feels a tight hug from a set of arms as the bus begins to drive away.
"Oh, Luz," Philip began with a soft whisper, "Please refrain from scaring me like that again. Your Mother and I have a deep love for you. You are a wonderful person and daughter, and I consider you a blessing in my life."
Philip had no idea that Luz felt that way.
He planned to arrange a time tomorrow for him, her, and Camila to converse.
Building a more open and stable relationship with his oldest was Philip's objective.
"I'm sorry, Phili--" Luz corrected herself with a sniffle. "Dad. And thank you."
She sniffled again, hugging her father tightly. "I love you."

I keep up with a couple of the “Luz ends up in the demon realm a few years early and gets snapped up + brainwashed by Belos” AUs because I think canon divergence and roleswap AUs are fun, and like. Given how incredibly emotionally important Azura is to her, and how deeply it’s connected with her dad. I think you could plausibly have a huge emotional turning point in such an AU be Luz rediscovering the Azura series (after Belos told her years ago to stop talking about it because he’s so pissed modern humans are writing stories about heroic witches) and going 🥺 no longer evil just want to be loved 🥺 because she suddenly remembered what a loving family is supposed to be like, and the positive values and good ethics Manny and Camila raised her with, and how much she wanted to be a Good Witch who fights for peace and befriends her rivals. I think bad guy roleswap Luz should be redeemed by the power of cringe YA fantasy. And its gay subtext.

Any funny or random tidbits for your uncle Philip au you wanna share :D
This is perfect because all my thoughts of the AU have been so stupid lately hence the lack of answering the more plot related asks (sorry guys)
You’ve doomed yourself Anon let me tell you about one thing I’ve been thinking so much about.
Tumblr media
Her. For now I’ve named her Freya, and Philip hates her and she hates him. So much. He will scowl whenever he walks by her store and has on multiple occasions referred to her as a ‘vile heathen’ or ‘messenger of Satan’.
She finds this both funny and annoying, depends on the day. She also wonders frequently how Camila puts up with him on a daily basis. At least Hunter and Luz don’t seem to listen to him and are frequent visitors to her store - mainly Luz.
I’ve thought about how after King’s Tide he may actually act nicer towards her and even a little awkward which has her in a state of shock. Their whole thing is being enemies, but ever since his supposed trip to England he’s been… polite to her?? Impossible. She doesn’t trust it. She’s convinced he’s up to something and won’t stop until she finds out what.
—————
Some other thoughts I’ve had include:
- Philip is terrified of microwaves
- Camila and Philip have major sibling energy sometimes. This is accidental on my part but it does sort of parallel Luz and Hunter so it’s honestly pretty funny. Philip has licked Camila’s hand before when she tried to shut him up and has also threatened to tell her mum about something she did just to get his way. It doesn’t happen often but, despite being way older than her, the annoying little brother in him still lives on and she’s left to deal with it. She’s an older sister in this AU herself so it’s nothing new. Still, she’s convinced that one day he’s going to push her down the stairs or something. If there’s one thing she’s learned it’s to never let your guard down around a younger sibling.
- Like how Luz finds Azura through her dad, Hunter finds Cosmic Frontiers through Manny as well and is obsessed with it from a young age. Philip will listen to him ramble about it but is little disturbed by the fact is favourite character is the clone.
- Hunter introduces himself to people as Hunter Noceda-Wittebane
- A lot of the clothes Luz, Hunter and Camila own are hand made by Philip who wants to make sure they have high quality and long-lasting clothes if it’s the last thing he does, and he passes this skill down to the kids just like Caleb did for him.
- Manny would call Philip ‘Pippin’ or ‘Peps’ and was also the one person who knew the most about Philip, even more than Camila. He was someone who people found easy to confide in, and as secretive of a person Philip is… he couldn’t deny that Manny’s mere presence was enough to get him to spill more than he ever thought he would. Not everything, of course. But Manny once joked that even if Philip was okay with him telling, he’d still take these secrets to the grave. Philip still thinks about that to this day.
- In this AU, Luz’s Palisman will be a Blue Jay!
- Eda actually gives a log of palistrom wood to Philip as well, just in case he changes his mind, and to show him hey, maybe it’s not as bad as you think, and perhaps he does end up carving himself a palismen impulsively without giving it much thought, and this goes about as well as you’d expect (the palisman is not consumed though). He’s an American Golden Finch and his name is Pumpkin. Will probably explain this more later as it’s a relatively new development but a fairly important one.

Music Star Luz AU
Luz Noceda has always loved music. It was her favorite thing besides fantasy stories. She and her father would often play together and make up funny and sweet songs.
After Manny’s death, money was a bit tight despite Camila’s best efforts to shield her daughter from the severity of it. Determined to help her mother, Luz summited a song she wrote to a music competition in hopes of winning some prize money. Luz’s song not only won first place, but also shoot her into the path of fame. Despite her worry about her daughter being pushed into fame so young, Camila encouraged Luz to share her talent with the world.
Luz was at first thrilled about being a famous music star, but then the pressures of fame began to bear down on her. The thing that bothered Luz the most was how lonely she felt because most people her age were her fans rather than friends, or just wanted to befriend her for her fame. By the time she turned 14, Luz was feeling burnout from the fame and had even began to loose her passion for music. So, Camila decides to sent Luz to a house/villa owned as a way for Luz to relax, and maybe find inspiration for her next album.
Of course, we all know that Luz ends up following a certain owl into a new world. Luz decides to stay in the Demon Realm to get song inspiration from this new world - and yes, because she also wants to be a witch.
Because this Luz is a musician, there will be a focus on Bard Magic, and I want Luz to be able to use it in some way. The idea is that she either finds a Bard Magic Glyph that she carves into her instruments to channel the magic; or, make it so that some Bard Magic can be used without the need to a bile sac. Like, some spells do require the use the the witch’s internal magic, but bards can also manipulate the external/ambient magic through their music.
Due to the focus on Bard Magic, Raine Whispers would appear earlier and have a more significant role. They first appear in Covention because Luz was interested in the Bard Coven booth. Luz uses Bard Magic during her duel with Amity and when Lilith accuses her and Eda of cheating, Raine would defend them. Raine’s earlier appearance would lead to things like Bard Magic Mentor Raine, Older Sibling BATTs, and maybe Raeda Romance Rekindled.
Vee obviously takes Luz place in this AU, but she has a few problems because unlike Luz, Vee doesn’t know how to play music instruments or even sing. Fortunately, Vee quickly learns how to play the guitar by watching video tutorials - I headcanon that Basilisks are naturally good at learning by imitation. Also, she meets and befriends Marsha (and the other two), who is helps her compose songs. So, “Luz” next album is a collab between Vee and Marsha.
Some notes:
Luz main instrument is the acoustic guitar, but she also knows how to play several other instruments like electric guitar, piano, trumpet, drums, violin, clarinet, and a few others.
Luz’s guitar was a gift from her father and her favorite instrument. She has it with her when she follows Owlbert through the portal.
Most of Luz’s music is from the rock genre, but she sometimes plays other genres of music when necessary.
Luz still loves The Good Witch Azura and fantasy in general, so many of the songs she has written have fantasy-inspired themes. I had this idea that some of her songs have been used in the Azura movies.
Before her father passed away, Luz had been working on a song for him, but he died before she could finish it. It has been sitting incomplete for years, but maybe Luz would find the motivation to finish it during her stay in the Boiling isles.
Luz’s friends eventually learn to play music/cast bard magic, and I have this image of the Hexsquad playing together to literally defeat a foe with the power of music.

So how do you think you'd handle an Amity/Luz TOH Swap AU, with Amity as the Human and Luz as the Witch?
I suspect that a human Odalia would probably be just as bad as what parts of the fandom thought Camila was like....
Congrats Anon, this question latched onto my brain and will not let go! Fun to try my hand at a pure owl House AU for a change. So without furthur ado, let me introduce the Gravesfield Coven AU
So I have seen(though not read) A Blight in Bonesburrow which I think probably plays the straight version of this AU fairly well. (Amity ends up in the Boiling Isles and meets Luz the witch) So I'm gonna take a different approach.
Our protagonist will be Amity. Luz will be our inciting incident. With main supporting players being Hunter and Vee. A lot of our hexside friends will be making the swap as well.
Episode 1 : Witch Hunt
Amity is from a well to do family in Gravesfield Connecticut. She and her siblings for plot reasons go to a well to do boarding school in the area. This is prestigious enough for Odelia to brag about to others without having to deal with the kids day to day. However it is close enough to the family home that they really can't escape her parents influence. As big donars to the school for years, the Blights have quite a lot of sway over the school. As a child of the heads of Blight Industries, Amity has a lot of pressure to succeed.
Amity is a straight A student and proud of it, as something she accomplished on her own merits and not something given to her by her parents. She is pretty constantly stressed but refuses to let it show. Her parents arranged for her to have a single room at boarding school, and she has a cabal of mean girls she's a part of. Though she doesn't feel particularly close to any of them. She has a few passionate nerdy interests she keeps to herself, one among them is, of course, the Azura books. She feels trapped, like this will be her little world from now until the end of days. One of her few unalloyed joys is volunteering at the local Gravesfield library.
One day at said library Luz, young witch extraordinaire comes bursting into the library, earning a shoosh from Amity and the librarian. Luz rushes to the front desk Amity is working  cowl thrown up over a witchy outfit. Amity is at first really weirded out and telling her to get away. Luz asks that Amity please just be cool about this. But then through the door comes the door is the Golden Guard, agrivated and armed with his staff. He demands to know if Amity has seen anyone matching Luz's description or a basilisk in the area. Amity, not sure what this is about but can tell that this guy is probably bad news says that she hasn't and he storms away looking for Luz. Amity pulls Luz into a closet and demands to know whats going on.
Luz casually does a light spell cantrip so they can talk in not pitch blackness and starts to explain how that guy was a jerk and she was just trying to keep something important away from this jerk named belos and she's of course thankful to Amity for the help, and Amity isn't processing any of that cause this girl just did magic right in front of her. Luz asks for her help and that she'll be happy to help out with whatever needs doing. She just needs to wait for her partner in crime to show up and whisk her back to the Boiiling Isles.
Amity is a bit uneasy about the proposition but agrees. We have a fun little adventure that ends with The Golden Guard and Luz having a showdown and though Amity's interference ends up stealing Hunter's Staff, leaving him magicless on this side of the portal. At the end of the episode Luz shows up to the little abandoned house Eda always spawns the portal door in but, no one comes. As things move towards curfew Amity convinces a now really worried Luz that should go back to the school for the night. Luz uses magic to sneak into the dorms and hides out in Amit's private dorm. Luz is worried for both Eda and her own Mom. Luz expresses how grateful she is to Amity for helping her out while stopping King from acting like a little demon and wrecking the place.
Episode 2 : Fraud
It's a few days later and Luz is still stuck on Earth and its getting kind of hard to keep Luz hidden without anyone figuring it all out. Eda no where to be seen and they are kind of coming to terms with the fact that Luz might be stuck here. Luz has lurked around and shown up for lunch and dinner a few times but Amity's normal friend group is starting to ask questions and wonder why Amity seems to know Luz
Ultimately Luz comes up with a great idea, they can just break into the records hall and basically forge a bunch of records to the Luz has a free ride and is just sort of accepted as a student.
The big conflict isn't a monster or anything but instead Amity's mom coming to visit and needing to keep out of sight. Amity is kind of stressed out during this whole adventure because of this. Luz feels bad and offers to just kind of go it alone from here. Amity had already done a lot for her and she doesn't want to leave a bad impression. Amity refuses saying that this is more exciting than anything she has done in her whole life, and more so that Luz is a better friend than she has ever had.
They have a fun adventure breaking into the school records, which is surprisingly easy, most of the doors left unlocked and Luz uses a bit of con-wizardry to give herself a full ride as a new student, backdating forms and such and basically revealing her apprenticeship to Eda has been fairly thorough.
They narrowly manage to sneak Amity back into her dorm and clean stuff up before Odelia visits and we get a real clear shot of how Odelia treats Amity. This elicits empathy from Luz as she realizes this is more than just a strict parent sort of situation.
Episode ends with Luz actually having to go to classes for the first time since probably kindergarten and while separated from Amity gets picked out as a new kid and some jackasses start shoving her around. Luz is capable fighter but she's never had to fight without magic before. Fortunately a kind stranger comes to the rescue. They put the lead goon in a painful arm hold and threatens to break his wrist if he doesn't leave Luz alone.
The bullies back off and Luz thanks the stranger. The stranger said it was no trouble. "New kids got to stick together right?" And he introduces himself as Hunter Wittebane.
Episode 3 : Outcast
We start this episode with Vee and get to see a bit of the conflict that brought her, Luz, and Hunter to Earth. Vee is being hunted down by the Golden Guard. In jail she heard rumors about the owl lady and hopes to seek her aid to hide against the Emperors Coven. She manages to get to the owl house but the G.G. is close on her heels. Luz is there but disguised as a Emperor's Coven scout returning from her first mission. We get some banter between Luz and G.G. to show they've got a kind of rivalry going on. The fight ends up carrying into the owl house and corrals Vee first into the upstairs and then through the portal door. Only for Hunter and Luz to burst through the portal as well. Vee thinks they are working together and flees spends a couple of days doing her best to survive in this world she catches a break when she sees Human Skara being dragged out of school for getting into some kind of trouble and her parents are very upset about it.
Vee assumes her form and we get her perspective as she slowly acclimates into being in H!Boscha's friend group. She isn't psyched about it, but we get the idea that Boscha is annoyed Amity is spending so much time with Luz and Hunter (who are all friends now... hurray?). Luz in canon already didn't super fit in well on Earth and 14 years of living in the Boiling Isles has done her little favors when it comes to assimilating.
While Boscha decides to push for a real nasty prank to be pulled on Luz. All through the episode we get little winces and grimaces from Vee as they describe Luz as a freak and a weirdo. Eventually this all comes to a head when Amity learns of the plot and confronts Boscha about it.
A key throughline in this episode is how scared Vee had been all her life and for the first time seems to have something stable in this life at school. So when Boscha keeps talking shit about Luz and Vee can empathize with the witch who did try to save her, Vee steps up and sides with Amity. Giving a kind of shaky voiced speech that is venting a lot of her own feelings about being treated as a freak for all her life.
Boscha scoffs and storms off with her remaining clique and Amity is kind of... shocked.
Amity had never been super close to any of her mean girl clique, and really didn't expect Skara to step to the plate for Luz like that, to stand up to Boscha at all really. Amity sincerely thanks her and encourages her to come and hang out with her, Luz and Hunter.
End of In Depth Episode descriptions
And that's how we get our cor gang for the AU. Which I absolutely adore. From here the season reveals as Boiling Isles creatures show up to reek havoc in Gravesfield. The four forge a coven at Luz's suggestion. The Gravesfield Coven. There's a ongoing tension of what happened to Eda on the other side. Some reveals about Luz's tragic backstory that led her to live with Eda. Amity learns to master Hunter’s staff, much to the boys frustration and is her main means of magic, just like Hunter in canon.
Every single dynamic in this group is phenominal and I love it
Amity & Luz: They get to bond and become closer over the course of the season. Luz helping with Amity's confidence with dealing with her Mom (and maybe reconnecting with her Dad) plus loosen up in general. Amity helps Luz with her quest to find a way back to the B.I. and comforts her when she is missing that home, since in this AU it wasn't one she meant to leave behind.
Amity & Hunter: Probably the weakest at first. They are really common friends of Luz to start. However as the ddepth of Odelia's controlling nature over Amity's life becomes clear. Hunter starts to empathize with her. Though in a really messy way where he assures her that Odelia has to care for her. After all, that's close to how his uncle treats him when he's home, and his uncle loves him. This brings Amity to start to worry/care about Hunter, since unlike him, she's under no delusion that what Odelia does is out of love.
Luz & Hunter: Very much a relationship that goes from incredibly manipulative and filled with tension to one that is surprisingly wholesome. As career asskickers Luz and Hunter form the core of the muscle of their little monster fighting squad. At first Hunter is keeping Luz safe cause he needs the macguffin she stole from the emperor, but as they keep working together that protectiveness grows genuine. Eventually Luz divulges to them what happened to her birth parents (hint: its sad) and generally her perception of the Emperor's Guard and all the pain they bring  to the B.I. At first of course Hunter doesn't believe her but as they search for a way home they learn about the Whitebane brothers and Hunter starts to realize he doesn't know everything he thought he did. This also makes his ultimate decision to betray everyone's trust at the end of season 1 so gut wrenching. Also Hunter becomes Luz's dedicated gay panic councilor once she figures out her feelings for Amity.
L, pacing nervously back and forth by the bleachers: Hunter what am I gonna do? there's no fairies on earth. What kind of pie should I make?
H, who is just now learning fairy pies are a thing in his home dimension: Well in my home state of... Detroit...  we used to put dragonflies into pies we made for girls.
L, who has been studying human culture a little to get closer to Amity: ... isn't Detroit a city?
H, panicking a little: It's the name of a city and a state! Like Washington!
L nods, not questioning it.
Vee & Amity: Amity treats Vee(Skara) as a kind of anchor point of normalcy as her life gets increasingly absorbed in boiling isles nonsense and magic and junk. Vee is constantly stressed about revealing some tell that shows she isn't the real Skara. But Since Amity wasn't super great friends with Skara before all this, she just sort of accepts Vee's oddness at face value. Then as Amity and Luz start to become more conscious of each other, Amity asks for like romance advice, cause Skara's had a few boyfriends at least, and Vee just has to fake it as best she can.
Vee & Luz: Vee do to shenanigan's does not recognize Luz as the witch who saved her, and is constantly terrified Luz will discover she's a basilisk. Luz treats Vee as a human expert on anything she doesn't want to admit to Amity about not knowing about the human world once her being a witch is out of the bag within the group. Including fashion consultant.
Vee & Hunter: The only 2 pretending full time to be humans full time. Both think the other is catching on, when in reality they both are just worried their cover is about to be blown by the other. Only they are both completely unsocialized even by isles standards. So they end up pushing each other in absolutely bizarre unhinged actions trying not to break cover.  H, seeing someone pouring sugar in their coffee at a diner: Ah yes, I love this stuff.
H, grabbing salt shaker and liberally shakes it into his coffee: How about you Skara?
V, taking the shaker: Oh yeah, absolutely. Can't have coffee without it.
V shakes salt into her coffee but then spots someone across the diner open one of those little coffee creamers into a their coffee. Vee can't tell tell from where they are and instead grab a little jam packet from the condiment tray and scrapes half of it to mix into her coffee.
V, offering Hunter the other half: Jam?
H, taking it: O-Of course.
Amity is staring at them in disgust
Luz is taking notes.
Okay there its out of my system. Time to go back to writing aAA.

thinking about an owl house AU where, during the human realm months the Hexsquad play a dnd campaign
- Camila DMs but Gus casts tiny illusions to make the gameboard and player tokens - Luz and Amity both play as wizards with names based on The Good Witch Azura (the epic return of Luzura) - Luz chooses to change the class name to Witches becuase this is an anti-wizard household -Willow plays as a druid and she’s very envious of the damage some of the fictional spells can deal out -Gus plays as an artificer, but he later multiclasses as an illusions wizard becuase he’s so used to intergrating illusions into his maneuvers -Vee plays as a rouge because ‘If i can steal someone’s identity for several months, i can probably steal that noble’s walet’ - She also shapeshifts into her character for each session and Luz is very jealous of this fact - Hunter considers playing as a paladin, but ends up playing as a protection fighter. no magic, only supporting his friends - he does ask to put flapjack in the game, so paladin hunter does also have a small bird friend -He frequently critisizes the poor planning of fictional militaries and makes battle plans based around his real life knowledge of castle structures - i cant think of any character races other than Gus - who would never pass up the opportunity to play as a Human, and hunter who is a Warforged :)))

Tf when your enemies kiss for the first time after slapping your ass to the stratosphere with a combination of Fire Glyphs and a cinch of Heron's Bane Anyway guess who got infected with @gamerbearmira's clownery and made an AU despite the 4 or so others I have in pending? It's me! Newly hatched Clown here folks. Basically it's an AU (a really babey one still) where Luz Noceda and Marcy Wu were the childhood friends, discovered Earth's Glyphs either by magical spoilery intervention or just like the Boiling Isles' Glyphs- through a stargazing session, messed around with them and mastered combinations enough that when Marcy gets dragged to Anne and Sasha all the way to Los Angeles at age 10 for her and 11 for Luz, our favorite human witchling managed to make bracelets-rings-necklaces-still can't decide that allows them to connect their mindscapes so they stay in contact via dreams, did that long distance relationship (except they didn't know it yet) thing for those 3 years until their canons came a calling. You can imagine the utter chaos when they both fell asleep in the Boiling Isles and Newtopia for the first time, met each other in their shared mindscape and were instantly like "You got stuck in another dimension too?!!???!!!" Oh and Marcy isn't the instigator for the Music Box here- girl recognized the aura of magic alright and years of experience with Earth Glyphs made her the hesitant one in the trio- at least until she could make sure it's safe. Plus, they just moved to Los Angeles and she has a bestest friend literally connected to her brain via fucking magic, so she won't have any motive anyway. Plus, all those times in the library that Canon Marcy would have spent? That's halfed now- she spends half of the time sleeping to meet, play, practice glyphs with Luz. So how'd they get it? Well, Sasha didn't have a present for Anne (she's the late one here), passed it by, saw how weirdly... weird it is (like Anne! And plus, most fics headcanon Anne having frogs as a favorite animal and I 100% agree) and said fuck it and stole it. She then gave it to Anne, Marcy's magic senses tingled like crazy- but Sasha does a Sasha and peer pressures Anne into opening it before Marcy regains her composure to protest. And with Luz? Well she basically goes to Boiling Isles the same way- too distracted by trying to get the Azura Book Marcy got her with her first allowance (to give it more importance, and also Camila's the one to throw it out not Luz) from Owlbert to recognize the magic her instincts were screaming at her to notice. The entire thing is almost the same as canon- except with Luz a little bit more mature and capable, and Eda being half 'this kid is so sus' and half 'yoooo pog??? A human with magic???' (because I'm pretty sure the reason Boiling Isles Glyphs don't work on Earth is because they're designed to use magic only from the Titan- I'm also pretty sure the dude gave them to Canon Luz. Now, my reason for Earth Glyphs working on the Boiling Isles? Have you seen humans? If we're adaptable, Glyphs made by nature- which we are part of - would also be. At least that's my AU loremaking led me to headcanon into existence anyway). Hmm... am I forgetting anything else???? Oh right. OH MY GOD I JUST WANT MY TWO FAVORITE GIRLS TO BE HAPPY OKAY AND THEY'RE SO PERFECT FOR EACH OTHER I'M FUCKING SOBBING UGHGHGHGHGHGHGH LUMITY IS GREAT AND SO IS MARCANNE BUT SORRY GUYS, FOR ME IT'S GONNA HAVE TO BE MARZ/GREENLIGHT/WIZ (WIT-LUZ HAHAHA) THAT SLEEPOVER SCENE WITH THE THREE AND MARCY'S LITTLE "Oh... you guys fell asleep... again..." WAS THE FINAL STRAW IT WAS SO SAAADDDDD I WAS RESISTING THE BIRTH OF THIS AU SO WELL TOO BUT THAT SCENE INSTANTLY HAD ME BABEY DON'T BE SAD I HAVE A GIRL RIGHT HERE THAT WOULD ABSOLUTELY, GENUINELY, GUSH WITH YOU ABOUT YOUR INTERESTS AND IT'S EVEN CANON COMPLIANT CONSIDERING HER UNIVERSE IS CONNECTED TO YOURS PLEASE DON'T CRY ANYMORE (SOBS) Alright so that's it for this AU- at least until I inevitably spend one (1) hour in the bathroom and come out with fully fleshed out lore.

You should do more head canons of Luz and Beardo Philip in the Camila/Philip au
I REALLY SHOULD! 😭
(Based on these au headcanons)
• The step-father and step-daughter duo who were once enemies, but then became frenemies and finally became best friends.
• Luz 🤝 Beardo Philip (Wanting Camila to be happy and proud of them.)
• For homework help, Luz turns to Philip.
• For anime help, Philip turns to Luz.
• Luz can't help but cringe everytime Philip tries to be "cool 😎 😎 😎" and "hip 🤘 🤘 🤘" in an attempt to relate to her.
• When Luz told Philip that she was bi as she was heading to school he went 'Oh...okay. Bye! 😀 👋". Luz, in her head went, 'Yeah, wrong bi, dad.'
• ODD AND OVERPROTECTIVE NERDS.
• THEY HAVE A BLAST AT FATHER-DAUGHTER EVENTS. Their focus is on having fun together regardless of whether they win or lose. If they do win, however, Philip will treat Luz to a sweet dessert from her favorite cafe. He'll then treat himself to something sweet also because he and his daughter both share the same sweet tooth lol.
• Both are lovers of reptiles. Luz has a strong affection for snakes, while Beardo Philip has a strong affection for lizards.
• Philip once waited in a two-hour line on Black Friday to get Luz the Great Witch Azura anime figurine that she REALLY wanted.
• Once, they teamed up to cook a surprise dinner for Camila.
• Camila sheds tears every time she sees them bonding. It brings her great joy that Philip loves Luz as much as Manny did.

Alright so Squid House AU. Rambling once again. This time about Luz and the events leading to her escaping the Octarain domes.
Like I said in previous ramblings Luz is an inventive octoling. She is a tinkerer and inventor, who doesn't really ask if she should invent something but rather does it anyway without thinking. A bit of an oddball, Luz never really made friends with her squadmates, in fact, quite the opposite, oftentimes being the but of most of the jokes, pranks, and hazing of her training squads before being transferred to a new squad where the cycle would continue. Eventually, Luz tested out of grunt training and into weapon designer or combat engineer training. Keep in mind this is the girl who, in canon, studies wild magic, glyph combos, and all nine magic tracks for fun all while building a portal to another realm in her spare time. Luz is smart.
She thrived academically, understanding the materials well enough, but still never really made any connections...mostly because she was obsessed with fiction books, comics, and what little fanfiction octarian society has and even wrote her own. She also questioned everything, even with hypno-goggles on, and everything got "worse" after the Calamari Inkantation. She was still loyal, but only because she had her mother who she loves dearly. She doesn't have to wear the goggles at home and they sing old octarian folk songs instead of listening to DJ Octavio. Camila even encourages her to invent things, as long as they're useful though.
So she invented things...but that didn't work either. Her teachers thought that her inventions were either weird or useless, at least according to them. Deployable miniature disco balls (regular disco balls not flash bangs), mechanical homing pigeons (filled with spiders), glue bombs filled with sea snakes (the snakes got stuck too). It was this last one she revealed at a weapons demo that got her in trouble.
It was probably really stifling for her and the hypno-goggles made it worse (Personally subscribing to the theory that the hypno-goggles were merely suggestive while the hypno-shades were complete brainwashing). So when they "suggested" Luz to be one of the first test subjects candidates for the new and improved hypno-shades? She panics. She's heard the rumors, seen people wearing them, unable to question orders and acting like an entirely different person, unable to take them off or even Want To. She wants to believe her mother, Camila, will protect her, but instead, she just sighs and Agrees.
In a daze, Luz tunes out the rest of the conversation as the program director explains the benefits of the new shades. She prepares herself. In her head she is half planning on running away, half wondering if this is maybe what she needs, that being under the shade's influence will "fix" her, make her "normal". But then Camilia suggests she throw away her Good Squid Azura book before getting on the transport. Her mother says goodbye, since she has to leave for work, leaving Luz alone at the end of the street, and as soon as Camila is out of sight, Luz breaks and runs. She grabs her book and nearly everything that could even remotely be useful out of the trash and begins her escape.
Course a 14-year-old octoling isn't going to get amazingly far by herself, less so in a blind desperate scramble to escape to literally anywhere else, and might have accidentally fallen into an octarian junkyard where she spends the next hour trying not to cry over her good Squid Azura book. Until a strange feathered creature steals it and her bag as she rummages through the junk looking for a way out of the hole she fell into. Cue chase, cue discovery of kettle exit, cue screaming because the sun is very very bright.
And the sight of a young octoling covering her eyes and hissing is what introduces Eda and King to Luz. Eda senses an opportunity, the kid can shift forms where she can't and King needs his crown back from the evidence locker in the Inkopolis precinct, plus the kid is an octoling which to Eda at this point means gullible. So the two strike a deal. Eda won't force Luz back through the kettle or gives her access to it so she can go back and all Luz has to do is help Eda break into the Inkopolis precinct. To which Luz agrees.
From there Luz using her octopus form sneaks into the precinct and opens it from the inside, letting Eda in. They find the paper Burger Crab (I mean might as well be a krusty krab reference) crown and Luz gets the "Us weirdos have to stick together" line. Cue fight with Warden Wrath, who is possibly a Crab or Lobster? Luz uses one of her inventions (the disco ball I'm thinking) and it causes such a ruckus with its flashing lights that it blinds Wrath and trips him by being underfoot, which buys them enough time to escape. Eda and Luz also let everyone inside out to cover their tracks.
Eda praises Luz and opens the kettle for her to use. Luz hesitates before deciding that she wants to stay on the surface. Wanting to learn everything she can (and maybe hear more praise) from the older woman. Eda agrees to house her for the time being and it snowballs from there.
So there's that! Luz's time in the domes and first adventure on the surface. Probably could have wrote that better but maybe later I'll actually write it out as a proper story. Anyway, let me know what you all think and what I should ramble about next.

Heyyyy bestie
For the character ask game, Luz?
NJMETKWNF THAT WAS QUICK
What I like about them
shes so very optimistic and kind and genuinely wants to help people! she's very enthusiastic about everything it's sweet
What I dislike about them
hmmm. this was more of a S1 thing but I guess when she would just. S1 Luz was more assertive which is something I miss a little bit but also sometimes it did not work out well for her. im gonna elaborate on this in a second
Favourite moment
i loved Camila comforting Luz and then her realizing what she Actually wants with stringbean it's so sweet
Least favourite moment
S1 Ep17 where she pushes willow into having a grudgby match with boscha despite willow being extremely uncomfy with it. like yeah sure it worked out but still. this is also ties into her being more assertive? I don't think assertive is the right word here but kind of just disregarding others feeling sometimes for her. She grows out of this though which was kind of the whole point of the episode so
A situation with this character that I want to see explored more
i wish that there was like. more conflict with the human realm and her mom? like in her eyes her mom sent her away to camp and then when she came back she was "fixed" and her mom didn't even notice anything was wrong until Luz told her she she had been replaced like. I feel like that would fuck a kid up a little bit. add that to her feeling like she shouldn't be upset bc A. She offered her home to Vee and B. vee had it worse then her so she has no right to feel upset!! but like. I have a lot of thoughts on this concept
An interesting AU for this character
umm hmmm. i have lots of toh aus. ive even written a fic about one! uhhh in general i have my reverse au but a good one for her specifically...
not really an au but i think it would have been cool if there was an episode in S1 where Luz had to go back to the human realm for one reason. Maybe she wanted her laptop/phone charger or maybe she was showing Gus around or something. I know she wanted to stay in the BI but I feel like the portal could have been used more
A crossover
im a sucker for toh/gravity falls crossovers I think it's fun. ok this is technically an au but imagine if after kings tide the portal landed them in the mystery shacks basement (it's not like belos tested it beforehand) so on top of THAT they have to figure out how to all get to Connecticut which is so horrible
OTP (or OT3+ etc…. just… favourite ship)
lumity for the win
Other ships?
not really ships but I do like it when people acknowledge her being bi and like. she's like "wow that guy is hot" or "wow that girl is cute" and like. she does love amity but i think she has eyes and thinks willow is cute
BROTP
her and hunter!! (may have written a whole fic about their shennanigans) but also her and king are brothers too. she gets so many siblings what a middle child
NOTP
hm. mainly just anything with weird age gaps or incest but that's kind of standard. i don't do ships much so
An assortment of headcanons!
um I don't have a Bunch but here's a few:
she definitely has an ongoing 40k azura fic on ao3 that randomly stopped updating bc the portal broke. she wrote so many chapters on her phone in the BI.
ive stolen this one from crushpunchh but she's a HUGE linguistics nerd. girl literally taught herself multiple fantasy languages
wears nail polish because she bites her nails so she paints them with bad tasting polish so she stops doing that
if she has an idea and no paper she will just write stuff on her arms and legs so she doesn't forget (i was going to add something else to this but. i forgot.)
has absolutely atrocious handwriting
loves to sculpt and work with clay. doesn't mind getting messy and loves making stuff with her own two hands
i thibk she knew about the shacks existence before she found the portal. like she for sure explored the woods around her house and it's very close to where she lives??? she for sure knew. probably played pretend in there all the time as a kid. she just never saw eda around
