@azureacrosstime​  asked:  "I-I didn't mean to distract Setsuna, Father! H-Honest!" A small four year old Towa cries out, tears in her eyes as she had gotten caught sneaking into Setsuna's tent during one of her training lessons. "I-I just wanted to learn too! Why can't I learn with Setsuna?!"

“Because you’re weak, you are nothing like your sister.” The man spoke harshly looking down at the spawn that he had brought into this world, nothing more than a disappointment that was too soft for this world. At the very least there was potential in Setsuna however, hope was all but lost upon Towa, she kept too much of that woman in her, the fool that thought he could actually love but what he truly wanted was a way for his clan to survive and he had found that in setsuna of whom could represent their race with pride, Towa on the other hand he had plans mainly to build relationships among other countries, send her off towards a king in order for her to create a litter of soldiers for the new generations.

However, that plan went up in smoke as she had tried his patience one too many times. A single hand reaches for his blade however, his assimilated retainer charges into the area between him and his daughter. “Please M’lord, I ask that you show this one compassion for it is clear that she lacks a warrior’s instinct and all she has left is the pursuit of your approval. Can you blame her m’lord? She’s simply in awe of your powers and wishes to be as strong.” Jaken spoke as he bent a knee, practically pleading for the canine’s forgiveness. 

“See to it that she is kept in her chambers, now…leave us.” He turns his back away from them as an ecstatic Jaken smiles and gently takes the little girl by the hand. “Come now Lady Towa,off to bed.” Honestly, when did Jaken become so sentimental with these brats? Of course his honor and loyalty is given to them at birth simply because they share this blood of his lord..but there was something about these little ones that drove him to go above and beyond to ensure their safety..even from the very lord he pleads to serve.

gentle  ,  innocent  purple  orbs  greet  her  sister’s  enthusiasm  with  her  own  amusement .  it  was  not  new  to  see  towa  rejecting  her  studies  &  replace  them  with  diversion .  yet  ,  despite  the  curiosity  that  brightened  setsuna’s  face  when  eyeing  her  actions  &  the  scroll  in  her  hand  ,  she  smiled .  it  was  not  that  she  didn’t  want  to  join  her  sister  in  a  new  reading  of  their  favorite  adventure  ,  but..

Trust- a foolish word to throw around considering the circumstances between them. Yet, it caused Sesshoumaru to pause all the same and turn his gaze to Towa. She hasn't been taught about the youkai aristocracy, much less about her family beyond her own sister. Her expressions were open, emotional and easily read in comparison to his own cold gaze. She was weak; years of suppressing her own power left her uncertain in her own ability. If he didn't know any better, he would have never associated the girl in front of him with his own bloodline. How could he trust anyone like that?

Despite that, Sesshoumaru recognized that he may be to blame for the chasm of distance between them. Because he failed to protect her and her sister, Towa had been lost to them for years. "I trust you to listen," he stated, turning his body to face her completely, "after that, the decision is yours to make." The friends she had made and the family she had accepted will no doubt influence her next move. She had grown up well with them, demonic heritage aside, and so...

"You have yet to show me a reason not to trust you."

Our muses to get stuck in a snowstorm together

He was not fond of snow, at all. Granted he wasn't fond of too much heat either, you could say that Hakudoshi preferred the mid-weather. Which was why he had not been fond of this mission that Kohaku had given to him and Towa.

The demon they were meant to slay was in fact a snow demon, though its appearance was unknown, Kohaku had hinted it could shapeshift but that it would give signs once the snow started appearing.

And so here they were.

@azureacrosstime​ asked ; 🤕  -  a  starter  where  my  muse  is  patching  up  your  muse’s  injuries. Towa was sparring with Sharrkan a little too hard and got hurt OOPS

When Sharrkan had come barreling into Ja’far’s office, panicked because Towa had fallen during their training lesson, Ja’far had nearly gone out the window for the convenience of getting there faster. He hustles to the Scorpio Tower, finding a few palace staff helping Towa to her feet. He chops Sharrkan over the head, tersely instructing him to go find something useful to do. He knows that injuries aren’t uncommon in a sparring match or even during general training, in fact it’s why there are multiple first aid kits in the Scorpio Tower along with a basic bath area, but it doesn’t stop his worry.

Ja’far comes to Towa’s side, the others stepping back to give him room. She doesn’t seem too terribly injured but in pain nonetheless, limping on her right side. He scoops her effortlessly off the ground and carries her into one of the private rooms to seat her on the bench. He’s gentle in his assessment, asking where it hurts and what happened, busying himself with the first aid kit. He kneels before her, ghosting over her ankle with a bandage wrap. 

“Nothing seems broken; likely just a sprain. You should keep off your feet for a few days until it heals properly.” He says, wrapping her ankle to help compress the swelling. He looks up at her, pursing his lips. “I don’t think I need to remind you to be careful while you’re training. I realize minor injuries are par for the course however it’s easy to get carried away and you can seriously hurt yourself,” his scolding is kind but firmed, edged with worry. When he’s satisfied with the wrap, he stands, offering to help her up. He’ll carry her if necessary.

“Come on, we should get you home. I’ll inform your father,” he offers before giving her a pointed look. “And I do not want to see you back in here until your ankle is healed. Am I understood?”

Inuyasha had moved Moroha to her bedroom about fifteen minutes beforehand. She’d promptly curled up under the kotastu table after getting home, since he was having a late lunch there at the time. 

That was when the sun was still up, but his senses had dulled earlier on in the day as per usual for this particular day. So he didn’t pick up on Moroha’s scent like he normally would, or he’d have met his puppy at the stairway to the shrine. 

Of course the sun had set some time after that and now he looked as human as Kagome or anyone else around here. He felt weaker too, he never liked this night of the month. Though, these days he was much more comfortable to let his guard down when it came around.

“She fell asleep as soon as she got home. I just moved her to her room, actually.” Tests had always tired Kagome out, so it didn’t surprise him that Mororha had been so sleepy. Inuyasha motioned for Towa to sit on the floor at the low table with him. There were a few snack items scattered about it, like chips and gummy candies.

The TV nearby was set to the news channel. He didn’t dare touch the remote or the knobs on the set itself. If he didn’t break something, he usually turned the channel to something obnoxious and startling on accident. He let other’s handle messing with it, even years after having the buttons explained to him. 

“Anyway, you don’t have ta’ thank me every time you come over during the new moon.” A stranger might mistake his tone for annoyance, but anyone who knew Inuyasha, knew better. “You’re always welcome over here even on normal nights, y’know?”
