So today B.D. Wong replied to me on a post about a teenager being a brat.

I've been a huge B.D. Wong fan since I was a lil kid.

Today, I commented about pitying a bratty teen for pitching a fit and staying home from a Disney Park, and still being unhappy despite staying home.

I didn't mean that I agreed with the kid, only that I pitied their bratty mood swing and boundary-pushing. I feel like the fact they were still unhappy after getting what they "wanted" makes it sound like they actually did it just to push boundaries.

B.D. Wong comments and says, "Yeah, I feel bad for the parents."

Whatever.

I've never been so embarrassed.

Four-year-old me is shattered.

I wish hadn't said anything.

BTW, I still like B.D. Wong and I know this isn't that bad, btw. He didn't say anything wrong, I should have just kept my opinion to myself.

It really annoys me when there's a fancast of Kim and people come at you arguing that he's "the incorrect nationality"

Like dude, Seol/Revachol isn't a real country, and there's a lot to be said about how orientalism is managed in Disco Elysium, and why you automatically assume Kim's ethnicity translates to an specific nationality irl. And let's not address the NGE last name, nor the voice actor that isn't even asian (I love Julian Champenois, no offense).

Like, get pissed at ZA/UM or at Kuvritz; why engage on a fight with a fan who's obviously just projecting a character on an actor they particularly like?
