Countdown to Spring #3: Waterfall
Another episode of the series “How to waste time with Blender fluid simulation”. Spent way too much time on creating a waterfall, making it splash into the riverbed, fill it and have foam and spray everywhere. Only… it didn’t render anymore. At least not on a 1060. Then I faked everything. I am cured from blender physics simulations again for the rest of the month I think. :3
But… have this blue oasis and probably still a bit freezing water at this time of the year.
Countdown to Spring #2: Blue Skies
So, what else is there in spring? Clear blue skies! Time to go gliding. :3
With my one-hour-glider from Blender. Technically I think it took 1.5h with the whole scene.
I drew the merchant staying open late to sell you that darn red cabbage! (the pig is also unimpressed)
So here is my first CountdownToSpring render for the color white. :3 This took far too long than I planned it should and was rendered in cycles this time.

“Once you’ll arrive your mind will probably spin in circles. You won’t remember who I am, let alone who you are. But you will remember the cold morning air and the glittering water. You will remember this place where we once met centuries ago. And I will be waiting for you there.”
