From a character perspective I can't fathom WHAT Rhysand's motivation/endgame was. Feyre was going to die. THE BABY WAS GOING TO DIE. Feyre's pregnancy was doomed from the begging because of the wings, and apsolutely nothing could be done. Rhysand himself was going to die. What reason did he have to hide it from his mate. To avoid making her sad? So having her bleed out confused is somehow better. He's immortal and has not had a wife or children for centuries despite being High Lord, surely he could wait a few more. The need for an heir was not urgent. Like what was the POINT does SJM not have an editor or anyone with reasonable thinking ability to advise her against this entire plot

lucerys hopes the new king never finds out his secret.

long before the dance of dragons ended in ashes and aemond took the iron throne, they shared a bed once. it was the only night full of hatred and passion, as a result of which lucerys carried a child. his family did everything to keep the bastard’s birth secret, so little aegon became daemon’s and rhaenyra’s son in the eyes of the court.

aemond also thinks aegon is luke’s brother, which is why he manipulates his nephew, promising to get rid of kid if luke won’t become his husband, oby him and give birth to heirs.

lucerys is afraid for his son’s life, who does not even know who he really is. it breaks his heart, but on the other hand, aegon’s safe, he’s far from political games and king’s hatred. so luke tries to be quiet and obedient, but one day he fails. he publicly insults aemond.

the king doesn’t forgive this, he reminds luke of the promise. the threat sobers lucerys. he asks for forgiveness, begs uncle not to do this, forgetting about pride, desperately grabs his clothes. they come in the nursery, where jaehaera and maelor cry and aegon screams in fear, bursting into tears as he sees the guard approaches him.

lucerys can no longer keep his secret. “aegon is your blood and flesh. he is our son.”

aemond's world stops and shrinks on aegon's tear-stained face with similar features.

Some random ideas I'm having about my One Piece Sound AU, that I wanna put on paper

While the main ship is ZoSan, I do want to make some side comics about the other straw hats and what they're getting up to while Sanji and Zoro have their soap opera slow burn. I don't know what they'll be yet but I'm thinking about them. I want them to be just as involved in the plot as Zoro and Sanji are, cus the straw hats never do anything solo.

I'm also thinking about the world-building of this town that my AU takes place in, and how I can fit other one piece characters into other residents in town. I've also been thinking about what the vibe would be around town during the on and off seasons tourism-wise. and what the town's geography would look like. The town is built around a sound that leads out into the greater ocean, so that would affect things like layout and coastline.

Baratie is deff on the water still and probably at the heart of the more expensive tourist eateries.

More character-focused stuff, I keep thinking about how Sanji is a workaholic, as well as a self-proclaimed gentleman, so I think he would slowly start to increase his work hours as Zoro's pregnancy gets farther along. He really gets it in his head that he needs to be able to take care of Zoro and the baby, so he throws more of himself into work. It starts reasonably, and Zoro figures if Sanji wants to do shit for him for free (like make extra lunches and work extra hours) he can knock himself out cus Zoro doesn't care either way (and sorta gets that Sanji has a complex about this stuff and does not want to get in the middle of that.) However, once Zoro loses his job, Sanji goes a little overboard with the whole situation. He doubles his hours at Baratie, and Zoro rarely sees him anymore. And as he and Sanji are growing closer (cus they're now living together and being low key domestic) Zoro is actually really miffed that Sanji is grinding himself into dust on his behalf.

Then one day Zoro says enough is enough and goes to Zeff behind Sanji's back to plead his case. He's like "look man, we both know Sanji. We both know he's going to work himself into an early grave unless someone screws his head back on right. You have to stop Sanji from working all these insane hours."

And for Zeff, he's been seeing all the scrambling that Sanji has been doing and seen how tired Sanji is, and is really touched by Zoro coming to him to lend his concern. He's met Zoro ofc, but he's seeing the guy that Sanji is doing all this extra work for, the guy he's trying to do right by, and instantly sees him as family. He says he'll crack some sense into Sanji's head, and that if Zoro ever needs anything, come to Zeff.

I really like the idea of Zeff and Zoro bonding over their relationship with Sanji, and Zoro growing close to Zeff cus that's who is baby's grander father is going to be.

Also it was apparently Zeff who raised Sanji to respect women, so after this Zoro and the strawhats quickly learned that Zeff would do just about anything Zoro asks cus he's carrying Sanji's child. Like Sanji asks for something he'll be like "never in a million years, little eggplant." but if Zoro asks he's like "ofc anything for my son-in-law and grandbaby eggplant." This drives Sanji insane. The straw hats abuse this for any time they want to hang out with Sanji when he's at work or want to borrow the Baratie truck.

I really REALLY wanted to draw for this so I put it off ask, but I’m sooo tired today so I’ll just put this on drawing queue and answer:

Regimen: On the corpses of their (Tord’s) enemies maybe. Tom will not be happy about it.

MilDads: I never meant for this one to have any ships (aside from the dads I guess??) so platonically sure! Plus they’re kids so “dancing” will mostly consist of Tord spinning Tom around.

Stay (best for last lmao): Tord gets invited to a lot of galas and summits, and sometimes there would be subdued parties in ballrooms. When music for dances come on, and couples start meeting each other in the middle of the room to sway together…..all he can really do is look across the room, at his husband who is stationed with his other guards. Tom will smile at him, small and unseen by everyone else, but Tord won’t be able to stop his longing.

He dreams sometimes, of taking his beloved out to the floor, hold him close, and dance like it was only them there. With Tom, it always felt like it was only them in the world, and their frozen moments in time, when he wasn’t Red Leader, and just Tord Larsin.

He has his happy ending, but he wishes it could be happier.
