adventures in catsitting (castiel x reader)

a/n: basically i just had this thought of castiel catsitting my cat (her name is Butters, and yes, she's featured in this fic) and it made my brain go all mushy bc i just love him so much. anyway.

Watching a cat shouldn’t be too hard, for all intents and purposes. Watching your cat, earning your favor, well that would just be a bonus. Unfortunately, Castiel doesn’t understand cats that much.

“Okay, that should be about it,” you said, hands on your hips as you looked at the angel next to you. He was carefully analyzing all the different things you laid out on the counter: toys, food, meds, etc. “Any questions?”

“She eats baby food? Not cat food?” Castiel clarified, pointing to the turkey Gerbers still in its twelve-pack on the counter.

“Well, she’s a baby, and it’s better for her stomach,” you chuckled.

“I thought she was a grown cat,” Castiel says, confused. He looks over at said cat, a stocky cream-colored Persian you referred to as Butters. To him, she seemed to be full-grown.

“Every cat is just a little baby, even when they’re grown,” you give Butters a scratch behind her ears, and she lets out a meep sound reminiscent of what you dub ‘a sad trumpet.’ Castiel still looks confused. “Never mind….will you be okay? It’s just for two days while I finish this case.”

“I will be sufficient,” Castiel almost puffs out his chest at this.

"Great! You're the best, Cas," you pat his arm, grabbing your duffel bag and leaving out the front door. Castiel stands still briefly before looking at the fluffy creature beside him. Wide yellow eyes peer up at him, blinking. He looks back at the detailed paper you wrote, ensuring he got everything. He wanted to make sure he did his best.

It was around night that Castiel started to worry. He had entertained Butters for a sufficient time, then sat with her on the couch while she watched a movie. (You said that she liked Finding Nemo, so Castiel put it on. He found the movie to be strangely sad). It was her dinner time, and Castiel had put out a scoop of baby food as required, except that it had been hours, and she wasn't eating it. She was sitting on the couch, letting out gentle purrs and seeming fine. Still, Castiel was concerned. He decided to call Dean for answers.

"I think something is wrong with the cat," Cas said into the phone. "It won't eat its dinner. It's just sleeping."

"I'm sure it's fine," Dean sighed, obviously not wanting to be a part of this conversation.

"If there's something wrong with the cat--"

"Cats are weird. They don't always follow set schedules," Dean groaned, feeling agitated. He took a second before responding. "Is it fine otherwise?"

"...Yes."

"Then the cat is fine," Dean replied. "Call me when something actually useful pops up."

Dean hung up, and Castiel looked back towards the cat. It had woken up, blinking its eyes at the angel. It let out another meep, tucking its paws underneath it. Castiel gave it a pat on the head.

"Your food is over there," Cas pointed towards the food bowl. Butters just meeped again. "I just told you where your food was." Another meep. "I don't understand."

Butters, eventually exasperated, got up and jumped off the couch, walking over to Cas. She rubbed against his pant legs, walking back and forth and making more noises. Castiel gave her a few pets, showing a small smile when she responded happily to his ministrations. She rolled over, showing her belly, and Castiel gave it a few hesitant strokes. Eventually, Butters grew tired and walked over to her food bowl. The angel let out a breath he didn’t know he was holding.

You came home after two days, finding your cat and your angel sitting on the couch watching Luca on the TV. Both of them looked equally enraptured.

“You survived,” you smiled, earning Castiel's attention. He turned towards you with soft blue eyes, and your heart skipped a beat.

“It meows a lot,” Castiel stated, looking toward the feline companion beside him. She let out a meep in response.

“She has lots of opinions,” you chuckle, walking over and giving a big squish to your cat. She purrs happily, even letting you boop her nose. Cas looks at you both fondly. Without really sparing a second thought, you leaned over, kissing Castiel’s cheek and enjoying when a red flush coated his face. “You’re the best, Castiel.”

Cas sat there for a minute, even after you’d gone to the kitchen for some water, even after he couldn’t feel your lips on his cheek anymore. All he could think was that if catsitting meant getting a kiss, he’d have to catsit for you more often.

Y/N is playing with her and Dean’s little angel who is just 1 month shy of her 1st birthday. Dean has gone to pick up some baby stuff that Y/N needed.

The little angel has been restless, crying on and off. Y/N is trying to soothe her to calm down

Y/N- I know baby, i know *she says to her as she pats on her back* Give mommy one burpy, and you are gonna be all fine.

She keeps on rubbing and patting her back gently to get her to burp after feeding her. She is successful as she hears her daughter giving one large burp

Y/N-Just like your Dad ..huh… *she chuckles at her remembering how exactly Dean does the same after having his meals, specially when its made by her*

But her relief lasts short as the little baby starts to toss and cry again

Y/N-I know baby…i know..i am sorry.

*she keeps on cooing her, finding different ways to make her calm but is unsuccessful*

Y/N- Ok, we are gonna video call daddy, see if he got all your fav things…Tell him to come home soon ..ok baby?

*she talks to her, knowing very well she can’t reply as she hasn’t started speaking yet, she hopes Dean’s voice will calm her down, as it always had*

*She dials the phone and Dean picks up instantly*

Dean(on the Video call)-Hi..Hot momma..missing me already?

*he says with a classic Dean Winchester smirk*

Y/N- Dean, when will you be back? *she asks him while trying to soothe their daughter *

Dean-I have picked up all our angel’s stuff, well, the Confectionery guy over here says the fresh batch of pie for the day will be here in 15 minutes, so just waiting for that *he gives a toothy grin, a little comically scared of Y/N’s reaction*

Y/N-Well this time, tell it to your daughter

*Y/N faces the phone towards her*

Dean-Hi, my baby angel, Daddy will be there shortly *she starts fussing again* Oh no…baby…look at me…my fav girl…Daddy is gonna be home soon..we gonna play all the games…and eat pie *he keeps on talking in hope his voice soothes her down*

The little angel, recognising her father’s voice, look towards him through the screen, and stops crying, just staring at him

Dean-That’s my girl, very good, daddy hates to see you cry *he blows a kiss to her* i am gonna be home soon baby…Dada loves you

The baby girl is just staring at the screen with her glossy green eyes , a small smirk emerging from her lips*you roll your eyes looking at the carbon copy of Dean*

“Dada…”

Your head snaps toward your daughter and then towards Dean, back and forth .

“Dada…hom…”

*she starts giggling at reaches out for the phone*

Y/N starts pouring kisses at her chubby cheeks “ I knew Dada will be your first words, i won the bet Dean”

She looks back at Camera and sees him already revving up the baby(impala), putting phone on the stand.

Y/N-Dean, what!! You were just at the store a second ago…

Dean looks at the screen, his eyes a little glossy itself-Yeah well, my baby girl needs me home, Dada is gonna be home…pie or no pie…

With that Dean drives off eager to meet lil Angel and hear her say Dada all day long…….

I hope it was good🥹🥹

Aw...that was so cute and sweet and all Dean deserved. He should've gotten the chance to have a family too. *I loved it with all my heart. Thank you for this sweet gift.*

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

I try to! There was a couple years where I wasn't really writing for fic or reading it and I kind of just ignored Ao3 and came back to like 500 comments that I didn't respond to, but I read all of them and loved them. I respond to all of them now though and did before I went inactive.

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

I don't typucally write angsty endings. I typically write fic because I want a happy ending. I did write a very angsty, very short first person fic from Stiles POV at the end of Teen Wolf? I guess that would be it. With a Wimper is also my least read fic in terms of hits lol.

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

ALL OF THEM! I write happy endings baby! If I had to pick just one I'd probably say my favourite Steddie fic I wrote - Baby on Board just because it's a prequel to a very happy fic and the end of BoB is also happy and hopeful.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

Not recently. Back in the days of a very active Sterek fandom I had some, usually from people who didn't ship Sterek. It was always wild to me because that meant you intentionally commented on a fic for a ship you didn't ship just to be mean?

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

I do, but not as often as I used to. Typically my smut ends up also being sappy, but sometimes I dabble in bandage or light D/s stuff.

10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?

One time I wrote Stiles Stilinski/Jason Todd and it was very fun for me and hopefully for the like 500 people who read it. - if you're interested it's Back Alley Deals lol

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

yeah, but it got taken down after

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

Yes! I've had some wonderful folks translate some of my fics to Russian, Mandarin, and Ukrainian and I think a few other languages I'm not rememebring

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

Yes, I did the jaytim WIP exchange which I think counts as co-writing. We just wrote in shifts lol

14. What’s your all time favorite ship?

Probably Sterek simply because I can always go back to it like a warm little blanket and because I was so in it for so many years.

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

probably my Buddie double timeloop fic :( maybe one day i'll finish it

16. What are your writing strengths?

I think dialogue and being able to capture a character's voice

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Conflict probably - I just want everyone to get along so I really struggle to write it, but I do write it and that's what counts

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

I struggle with it because I'm only English speaking. I think if I get better at French or Spanish I'd be more comfortable with it, but for now I don't like relying on Google translate.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

I think the first fic I ever posted was harry potter, posted on some random HP message board in the very early 2000s

20. Favorite fic you’ve written?

1989 tv review, vault track rankings, my ratings and overall thoughts:

Welcome to New York — okay i honestly can’t believe I hold myself off and started w this. always thought this was a great opener and HONESTLY sounds really close w the og. I LOVE the production, not my fav song on the album though lol, 8/10

Blank Space — THIS SOUNDS SO CRISP OH MY GOD. there's something different from the og BUT I LOVE IT. 9/10

Style — THIS ALSO SOUNDS SO CRISP TOO. god i love the maturity in her voice SO GODDAMN MUCH. always will be one of my favs on this album. YOU GOT THAT!! JAMES DEAN!! DAYDREAM!! LOOK IN YOUR EYE!! just perfect. 9/10

Out of the Woods — the intro is a bit disappointing but this is one of my fav songs on this album SO I WILL LET IT SLIDE!! "OH I REMEMBER" is scratched into my brain FOREVER. 9/10

All You Had To Do Was Stay — THIS ONE SURPRISED ME SO BAD. I KNOW THIS SONG IS UNDERRATED BUT MY GOD THIS ONE IS SO MUCH BETTER THAN OG 10/10.

Shake it Off — serotonin. just makes me so goddamnn happy, THE UPDATED LAUGH IS SOO CUTE I LUV HER. so much better than og, like i swear im a shake it off fan despite not caring that much before LMAO.

I Wish You Would — OH MY GOD. OH MY GOD. I TAKE BACK EVERYTHING I WILL SAY ABOUT JACK ANTONOFF AND THE PRODUCTION AT THE END (sorry). THIS IS SO GOOD. STOLEN VERSION DOES NOT EXIST, THATS HOW GOOD IT IS. 9.5/10

Bad Blood — the intro to this SONG is so different. KINDA Neutral about it but the whole song sounds very different !!1 8/10

Wildest Dreams — honestly i skipped bc ive been listening to this one for months anyway IM SORRY. but still 10/10 ofc !!!

How You Get The Girl — ALWAYS ONE OF M Y FAV SONGS. POP PERFECTION. just so FUCKING GOOD AND TV IS PERFECT. GOD TAYLOORRR ILY FOR THIS ONE. (also im thinking a steve fic for this? sorry i have to mesh my two hobbies together im insane) 10/10

This Love — also SKIPPED IM SORRYYY SUCH A GOOD SONG AND IVE BEEN LISTENING TO IT FOR MONTHS ALREADYY !!!

I Know Places — OH MY GOD SO PERFECT THIS IS MY TOP 3 ON 1989 AND... IM IN AWE... the GROWL (lmao) in and we run is PERFECTTT. god so good 10/10

Clean — 10/10. no words. im actually kind of sobbing. just makes me SO sad but relax. such a bittersweet song and i still think about the secret message for this song. "She lost him but she found herself and somehow that was everything." forever engraved in my BRAIN.

Wonderland — WONDERLAND TV AFTER CLEAN HITS SO WELL ALSO ONE OF MY FAAVOOORIES. "didn't you flash your GREEN eyes at me?" GEEEENNIUUUS! the OOOHHH hit so well. guys i just... so good. 10/10

You Are In Love — guys HOENSTLY SO GOOD. but im gonna keep this one short even tho this is also one of my favs img etting so impatient for vault tracks. 10/10 masterpiece im not kidding.

New Romantics — BABY WE'RE THE NEW ROMANTICS. COME ON, COME ALONG WITH MEEE. HEARTBREAK IS THE NATIONAL ANTHEM, WE SING IT PROUDLYYY. another pop perfection. the production sounds so good in these deluxe songs omfg. 10/10 GUYS IM SO IMPATIEN T BYE IM GONNA LISTEN TO SLUT! OH MYG DO

Suburband Legends — OKAY THIS IS SO MIDNIGHTS CODED OMFG? the production sounds so mUCH like mastermind and i love that song. "And you kiss me in a way that's gonna screw me up forever" she just gets me!!! 9/10

Is It Over Now? — "Oh, Lord, I think about jumpin' Off of very tall somethings" OH MY FUCKING GOD???? shes so bella swan coded. IM CRYING SHES SO RELATABLE AND I THINK THIS ONE IS MY FAVORITE OH MY GOD. 10/10

OVERALL; I think this is BY FAR my favorite re-recording. I love all of them with my entire heart but THIS ONE IS JUST SO SPECIAL AND IMM SOOO HAPPY TAYLOR FINALLY OWNS IT. JUST A MASTERPIECE. my only ONLY problem is some of the production in some of the songs. i loved the changes. and I LOVE what she did. and I LOVE JACK ANTONOFF FOR GIVING US AMAZING SONGS. but the production sounds a bit off in these songs :(( i think max martin and shellback should've also produced more of them. BUT LIKE I SAID. it has a new vibe and I LOVE IT. (i still think we shouldn't JUST have him on other projects but that is another topic) anyway 10/10 IM STILL SHAKING.

Billie Dean Howard:

- the “cool” mom

- would dress you AMAZING as a little child

- and spoil you with amazing clothes or expensive gift cards once you’re a teenager

- is your best friend but in your teen years she would embarrass you now and then

- “Why can I not go to the club with you?”

- Almost all of your friends would crush on her which is awkward for you

- “Yo y/n your mom is hot!”

- one of those mothers who takes some minutes to herself when angry and then just continues like everything is okay

- that is a con for you in case you actually feel the need to talk with her about the issues you just had

- She eventually gives in and talks to you because she loves you plenty but opening up and showing her emotional side is hard for her

- Some kids at school make fun of her profession

- “Does your mom see my dead rabbit also?”

- You protect her like a lioness just like she does

- “If you don’t want to join your rabbit I suggest you shut the hell up”

Wilhemina Venable:

- protective mom

- she didn’t really plan on having children but now is a badass single parent

- would occasionally take you to work because she just wants the best for you and the best for you is always with her

- At first Mutt and Jeff would complain but Mina would shut them down

dean: ugh. ik EVERYONE says this, but s1 dean was just like soo perfect. too good to be true. he was cute, charming, and kind. i think he was a good 1st bf for rory. besides the fact that he freaking dumped her just because she wasnt ready to say "i love you back" and didnt respect her opinion on donna reed. and theres more. s4, took advantage of her and took away her virginity (im not fully blaming him, rory made me really mad too). like dude, he was MARRIED. poor lindsay didn't deserve being treated the way she was also. she just wanted to be with her husband. and then he based their (rory and dean) little relationship on sex. LIKE HUH?? when he was drunk the night before his wedding, he was saying how rory could fix the world, he loved her, and how she was so smart. what happened to that like what.. overall, i think he was great for a while until he wasn't. he also didn't have any character development at all. jess: in case you haven't seen any of my other posts, i am 100% team jess. i could write an essay about why he was the best bf, but i wont. and im not saying he was perfect at all. like ofc not, no one is! but the little things he did were just soo cute even when they weren't together. like buying rory's basket for $90! ughhh i love that episode sm. anyways, i love the fact that they were genuinely great friends before lovers. "wHy did you drop out of yAAleE?" iconic. okok so i absolutely adore that he was being totally honest with her. he was just real. like "rory, wtf are you doing?" he got her head back in the game. omg i saw this one post that was saying how when logan bought rory that birkin bag, she thought it was nice but didnt really know how to respond, but when jess gave her a copy of his book, she was really happy. because she has something special with him. ALSO did anyone else notice how jess was the only bf she didnt have sex with?? not really too important, but just wanted to say that. in AYITL, he gave rory the idea to write a book. i feel like he was always there for her. always. as a friend, bf, ex, and then friend again. through her ups and downs, he was there. fight me all you want, they shouldve been endgame. i was a upset when he got all angry when rory didn't want to have sex with him in another person's house. ik that he was moody or wtv but still. AND THE FACT THAT HE JUST LEFT WITHOUT TELLING RORY. im not saying he shouldve stayed (well i kinda am) but i was so mad that he just left her in the dark. also totally not necessary, but here are some of my fav quotes from him. "ernest only has lovely things to say about you", "i love you", "an innocent boy like me should not be raised in an atmosphere like this! i wanna be good, life's just not letting me", "i like this shirt. it brings out my eyes", "it feels like im with rory and youre not", "wanna push me in the lake?", "22.8 miles. do you YAHOO?" i have more in the dungeon logan: 2nd fave bf. he was meh. sometimes he was an absolute jerkk but i do like how he pushed her out of her comfort zone a bit. AND how he tried the whole boyfriend-girlfriend thing because he liked her so much. and personally, when jess went to visit rory in s6 ep8, i think he had a valid reason to be upset. like he literally pulled up to richard and emily's to see rory with a random dude going out. and the first thing she said to him was "when did you get back? i thought you were coming home tomorrow?" i mean i could totally see why he thought something was going on. (but he did overdo it a little. at first it was understandable but as the night went on, he was just being plain rude). on the other hand, he was kinda boring to me. i feel like he didnt really have much of a personality besides being rory's bf. BUT I HATE HATE HATEEEEE that he was hooking up with rory and ENGAGED TO ANOTHER WOMAN in AYITL. its like dean all over again smh. tbh im glad rory didnt end up with him. ANYWAYS. Five characters only is IMPOSSIBLE. I have tons but..these are what pops up in my mind first.

1. Peter Quill!! Honestly idk if he's number 1. But this are not by rankings cause I'm picky about comfort characters and they're all number 1. I love Peter he's so funny, so charismatic and soooo baby, (and so traumatized wow) The first time I saw him I KNEW he was going to be my favourite Guardian along w Rocket and Groot.

2. Dean Winchester. Hello my traumatized baby, look at him. He's so sweet and cute, despite all that trauma and stuff going on in his life he's still so kind and he tries not to continue the trauma chain and I'm so proud of him. He's my fav SPN character along with Bobby Singer, Crowley, and Castiel <3

3. (omg suddenly there's too much characters in my head) UHHHH. OKAY MO GUAN SHAN!! MOMO FROM 19 DAYS MANHWA. yes. I mean the whole manhwa is my comfort manhwa, I'm always sooo excited for new chapters but momo is my fav lil kitten he's so agressive and cute and baby, always getting into fights and definitely has some sort of freaking PTSD or something but He Tian's there to love him. So it's fine. TianShan couple goals.

4. Charles Xavier. Again, all of this is not ranked and if it was, Charles will be up a little bit. Charles Xavier, fav telepath and a cutie pie. He has mommy issues, and daddy issues ig, and in the comics he probably traumatized his son I mean. Look at his son. But that's besides the point! He's the sweetest, in terms of characters I relate to Erik more, and I'm more of an Erik Lehnsherr mindset cause c'mon. Mutants are superior idc but Erik is more serious than Charles, not my thing nono. So I have to have my sweetheart Charles here. Him and that tree scene is so cute, him when he found out that girl has a husband was even MORE cute. He's the cutest I can't-

5. Sam Wilson. Fav buff guy, smol smol bean 🤏🤏 I want to keep him in my pocket. He's doing great, unlike all the other characters I don't think he is that traumatized despite almost dying in an explosion, got dusted by Thanos, his best friend growing old( like rotting old) and giving him the responsibility of being Captain America and the whole states in his hand, and he definitely had identity crisis for a while. But that's just common marvel trauma. anyways, he's the guy, he's the cutest, him and his lil wizards, aliens and stuff speech was so cute. His whole character is a comfort.

Honorable mention of Iruka, Shinya Hiragi, Gojo, Loki, Shuri, and more I can't think of rn (I just woke up guys)

well, I’ve been watching more of s11 and… actually kind of liking it! especially after the extended Sam & Dean conflict of the last 3 seasons, them finally working together again against an external threat is such a breath of fresh air. I can see why s11 is a fan fav, esp against all the messiness of s9 & s10. also suspect the writers were enjoying it more too, just given how these eps feel better written, more entertaining & overall more cohesive. while things could change in s12 - s15, I’ve seen the idea that Dean becomes the main character instead of Sam (even from talking to friends IRL who watched the show but aren’t in fandom) and I’d disagree / have quibbles with it, at least thru what I’ve seen. if the Kripke era started the audience in Sam’s POV and was abt his journey and could-be-good, could-be-bad destiny, then s11 returns to the formula of Sam back in a more heroic role & having mysterious stuff to deal with once again. the show even has Sam having prophetic / meaningful dreams, just like early seasons. and then Dean’s back in a more directly supportive role, esp in contrast to s10, which took Dean far out from his usual narrative role and the writers really struggled with it, imo.

anyway, “Baby” was a cool, inventive frame for an ep, and I liked how the violence almost got into slapstick territory. really enjoyed the spookiness of both “Thin Lizzie” and “Plush,” the costumes especially were very creepy, and Donna is a great side-character. there’s some kind of meta around soullness as connected to trauma & how different ppl react to trauma (and definitely some threads re: good vs bad victims here). Crowley being an evil, manipulative dad really works, and the show is not subtle in having Crowley wanting / trying to kill Dean after ‘becoming’ a dad, huh. the Dean & Crowley & Amara scene in 11x06 actually gave me some faint echoes of “Devil’s Trap”? in Dean being threatened by a demonic father figure but then saved by Amara & her powers (what Sam was unable to fully do in 1x22) and then with Amara wanting to fill a Sam-esque obsessive sibling spot in Dean’s life, her “you save me, I save you” speech and the God’s sister reveal. overall, the Dean & Amara’s connection is appropriately disconcerting, uncomfortable & intriguing. Jensen played the ‘I’m both drawn to you & incredibly disturbed by it’ ending of 11x06 really well, esp opposite a teen Amara. it’s always great to see how he plays these quieter scenes.

the whole “we need to save people again!” thing isn’t totally working for me, tho. I get what the show is going for, returning to the “saving ppl, hunting things” idea and wanting to focus more on the saving rather than killing part, but because the show didn’t focus much on it for most of Carver’s era, it just feels kind of awkward to be like, oh, now they care abt not killing hosts / vessels. thematically, it certainly feels again like a calling back to early seasons, which had such a focus on the “saving vs killing” and the family motto, although I’d say Kripke’s era had a lot of complexities to Sam and Dean and how they viewed the family motto even early on, so it wasn’t a 1 to 1, saving or killing, for either of them.

the last thing is that it is wild to be watching this season right after having finished my casual Revolutionary Girl Utena rewatch, because in RGU there’s also a prominent God and his sister as the darkness plot which goes in quite a different direction to what’s happened / happens on SPN. on one level the plot and character similarities are a coincidence, as these 2 shows are quite distant in their themes & ideas, but on another level... given narrative threads around responsibility shifting, good vs bad victims and esp gender, my thoughts are percolating here.

5. Kai - Peaches "Pretty girl you're like peaches~" It's such a lovely song and I love the soft sound. It always gets quickly stuck in my head if I listen, and Kai's concept seemed so cute. I always remember how happy he seemed to have released this song, and that he wanted a fantasy feel.

6. Wonho - Ain't about you King is conquering the English vocals, and with such a sultry and good duet, they really balance out the song. The beat reminds me of being trendy and as if it belongs in Dislyte!

10. Phoenix - If I Ever Feel Better Honestly, this song always makes me sentimental and grateful. I'm putting it here because I think everyone needs to hear this at least once. No matter how hard things get, and how un-ending it feels, it's always nice to have a positive outlook; sometimes when it doesn't feel like you're reaching any goals, something as nice as spending time with someone you cherish and having a good time is what we should look forward to, to enjoy our lives. Just write, even if I hate what I write. I always want to like what I write, but that isn't always possible, so writing through the frustration is a piece of advice I've always taken and stuck to.

Ohhhhh boy, literally anything I've ever written. I'd love to see something from one of my newer fics, like Dustin's Dad(s) or Baby On Board, but also some of my older favs like When We’re Old and Gay, Queer Robins Club, Like James Dean, Only Sadder, A Guy Walks into a Bar, etc.

you honestly had no idea how your boyfriend managed to make the dean's list every semester with how much he loved to smoke. between classes, to go to sleep, hell he was probably the biggest advocator of wake and bake to ever exist.

as you sat next to sasha on one of the couches in eren, jean and armin's designated smoke room, it didn't even surprise you when the first thing eren said when entering the room was, "who wanna smoke?"

of course, everyone said yes, you were all guilty of being unashamed stoners. because everyone had decided to show out tonight, eren instructed connie and armin to start rolling blunts of their own so that there was enough to go around and get everyone sufficiently fucked outta their minds.

"you couldn’t talk to me from three seats down?" you asked as you placed your hands on his knees, pouting because he interrupted your conversation. eren rolled his eyes and shook his head, moving the dish he had put between his legs to keep everything steady on his right knee.

"just wanted to here is all. but by all means, go back to sasha if my company is so bothersome," he said with a smirk. it was your turn to roll your eyes. you stood there for a while, watching as he began to pack the paper.

"sit down," he said. you quirked your eyebrow.

"where?" you replied, noticing the lack of space on either side of him because of his proximity to reiner and annie.

"where else," he said, tapping his leg with his free hand.

you always jumped at the opportunity to sit on your man's lap, so of course, you plopped your cute ass self onto his awaiting thigh. he smiled to himself when he felt you wrap your arms around his shoulder, squirming a bit to get yourself nice and comfortable.

"right where you're supposed to be," he said, tearing himself away from his blunt to give you a quick kiss.

your hands tightened around his shirt when he took a deep hit, tilting his head back on the couch to not blow the smoke out in your face. he took a few more hits before passing the blunt to you, prompting you to do the same. his fingers played with the fat of your thighs as you blew the smoke out, coughing a bit when it came up through your throat. he chuckled, watching as you passed to annie.

"fuck you and your fatass blunts man. you tryna kill me or something?" he let out a deep laugh, his other hand moving to rub your ankle.

"nah, you're just weak."
