One thing that really blows my mind is how different each baby/toddler develops.
Today I cried because my cute little boy, who just turned one clapped for the first time. I know there are babies as young as six months who know how to clap, but somehow my son didn't figure out how to do this until now. My niece was 7 months old when she clapped and I was seriously worried when my little one did not.
Then again I know kiddos much older than my son, who are not nearly as mobile as he is. He is crawling crazy fast, climbs up all the stairs, pulls up on everything everywhere and since a few days/weeks is taking little steps every now and then. He is getting better and better at walking and it makes me very happy to see how excited he is about moving his body and exploring the world.
The fact that he hasn't figured out how to clap until now had me very annoyed. Not gonna lie. But I guess... It's true when they say that everyone develops differently.

Do Babies Feel Emotions?
As parents, we often wonder if our baby is feeling happy, sad, or frustrated. From the moment they are born, babies begin to experience a wide range of emotions. While they may not be able to express their feelings in words, there are many ways in which they show us how they are feeling. Research has shown that even in the womb, babies can experience emotions such as joy, anger, and fear. After…

Gotta rant a little bit. Sorry not sorry.
I hate it if people in an attempt to uplift struggling mothers tell them stuff like "once they are adults noone is gonna ask how long they used a pacifier/bottle/etc" This may be true and I get what you're trying to say, BUT people are gonna ask different questions. They are gonna ask "why are your teeth so crooked? Why don't you invest a bit more in your dental hygiene?" Stuff like this. Because yes some things DO MATTER!
Which brings me to the main reason I need to rant: my mother. I HATE when she tries to give me tips or suggests things that I could use for my baby. Yes I get it. You want to make life easier for me. You want to tell me not to stress so much about things, but I choose the things I stress about for a good reason and that reason has a lot to do with how I was raised by her. My mother always went the easy way. She let me continue to drink from a sippy cup when I was 4 or 5 or maybe even older. I don't remember exactly. All I remember was that all my friends were already drinking out of normal cups and that I was embarrassed and therefore never drank anything while I was at a friends house. She didn't potty train me until I was more than 3 years old, because 2-3 year old me told her I didn't want to. She also allowed me to sometimes skip brushing my teeth when I was too tired in the evening. She sometimes didn't feel like cooking and gave us junk food. She let my brother fall asleep with a bottle of a sugared drink. You see where I am getting? Our dental health as children growing up was absolute rubbish. Our diet was SO bad. We always learned things later than other kids, because my mother didn't teach us. She didn't want to because she feared it might be difficult, messy, etc etc. And there are so many convenient tools. Don't want your baby/toddler to spill their drink? Just continue giving them a bottle. It's convenient. Yes. But also extremely lazy and not helpful for your development.
So the other day when I told her that my baby basically needs to change after every meal of solids (he still gets a few bottles, ok), because he is learning to drink from an open cup and gets wet a lot. She suggested a sippy cup or even a bottle. I was SO PISSED. I told her "No! I want him to learn to drink properly! It's bad for his teeth and his development!" I was so angry. It triggered me hard.
And this is why I don't like the thought of my mother looking after my baby more often. I fear that he will regress. She always talks about my nephews whom she is looking after and that they can't drink from a cup, can't do this, can't do that, even though they are much older than my baby. Hmm. Wonder were that comes from. 😑

I'm a Grandpa? Again?!
My brain got away from me. srry
This might be a horrible, horrible idea that will have so many butterfly and directs effects on the DC canon that I know nothing about but...
Consider this: Bruce is Danny's clone/test-tube baby.
Danny has lived for many, many years and somewhere along the lines, he got his DNA stolen again (in his human form mind you) by someone and they made a clone/baby (most likely cause the child would destabilise without more DNA. Human Danny is just 1/3 of the DNA he has). Maybe the League and Ra's is responsible. Maybe some other party I have no knowledge about. Maybe it was GIW. But it happens.
Anyway, whoever succeeded, had some intentions with the clone if it had powers. He did not. Was a failure and was dumped as a 3yo in Gotham. Tom and Martha Wayne found him and adopted the child.
Now, Danny doesn't know it. He just goes around, living his best life with his partner/(s), works somewhere new every 5-6 years or so, trying out new professions when he wants. When his DNA got yonked, he was a practicing cook. By the time Batman is old enough with all his kids he is a doctor or something.
Let's throw in the Ghost King for fun. Love the trope. Could be just him being a super strong and respected Ghost in the Realms who helps himself to Pariah's treasury. Not like the guy needed it anyway.
So, YEARS pass. All parties are unaware. Meta human protection happens. Ecto Acts get ruled out automatically by the Government somewhere in a list of all stuff that change. The Ghosts haven't been sighted for over 30 years. The Government disbanded GIW wven esrlier just cause they were a moneh draining leach. The JL didn't even pay that much attention honestly (let's say Batman wasn't there for some reason to check the final copy), just one more thing that changed for the better in their eyes.
So, Danny and his kind are now legally in the clear. Does he so something with it? Well, not much. Just uses his powers more freely. His rogues don't find the Living Realm all that interesting now and just come to Phantom to play. Except Sculker. That ass is still unbearable.
...
I got sidetracked from my original idea. Anyway-
...
Damian in school has to do the ancestory assignment. And finds out that he has a weird relation to this Random DudeTM. (Maybe Tom's and Martha's DNA was indeed used in the process of creation. Who knows, maybe it was their doing all along in the name of Doctor Science. Idk. All options are fun) Came out of nowhere. The relation is unclear too.
That gets brought up to Father. Father is surprised. Investigation happens.
The Bats are flabbergasted by the results.
Danny gets the news that he is a surprise Granpa again (Dani was the first one to come with a grandchild out of nowhere. Adopted. You know what? Let it be Cass. Let her have a traveling super mom).
