Xanthos joined the family when Janus was 5. Accustomed to being the sole focus of his parents' attention, Janus initially resisted the idea of sharing it. However, Lucy Gray assured him that Xanthos would make an excellent playmate, and Janus eagerly embraced that promise.

Lucy Gray: yes hun?

Janus: aint he gonna… he’s so boring, he’s not doing anything. I thought babies did something? Is he broken? Can we return him?? Get a better one, How is he supposed to play like that?

Lucy Gray: Janus yes well, they do just give him a bit more time and let’s now just enjoy the silence.

At the age of 8, Rosalyn joined their family. While Xanthos was declaring Rosie his arch nemesis before she was even born sounds familiar now doesn’t it Janus was thrilled at the prospect of being a big brother to his younger sister, envisioning additional responsibilities to prove himself. Rosie was petite but healthy, and Janus eagerly longed to cradle her upon their initial encounter.

Janus: so tiny, can I hold her?

Coriolanus: absolutely not- I see how you hold that cat of yours, you’ll not hold your fragile newborn sister like that-

Janus: b-but tiramisu is chunky and wiggly! Rosie looks sleepy and light…please…

He held her while sitting next to Lucy Gray who ensured that he was indeed not holding his newborn sister like his cat ^^’

Bonus: Even if she is not considered canon yet idk, Janus would be 22 at the time Lucia joins the family. Not being present during her birth like Rosalyn, he is married to his wife and busy with his job as an apprentice for Tigress. He would meet his now even littler sister a few weeks after. He remembers the first time holding Rosalyn, which filled him with pride, but it would be holding baby Lucia that would trigger the ‘I want one of those’ feeling.”

Janus: holding you makes all the previous stress and anxiety melt away, you don’t know me yet and I don’t think we will spend a lot of time together but I’ll treasure every moment I have.

Clelia: She looks like shes made out of gold, such a bright beautiful little lady~

most sanders sides aus: high school, prinxiety/logicality/demus, roman is a popular jock and virgil is a sad artsy kid who was adopted by patton and logan, bonus if his biological parents were abusive and are trying to get him back.

my favorite sanders sides au i’ve made: logan is a six year old child genius who manipulates his shy and slightly pushover-y social worker virgil into adopting him and his intellectually disabled and wildly funny older brother roman. logan has raised roman all his life and so he is a very parentified six year old while roman is a very infantilized ten year old, but due to his low iq and unique presentation, people regularly underestimate roman and his abilities. also janus is a sweet kid who’s around roman’s age who desperately follows roman around because romans the only kid in the group home they live in who’s nice to him. also remus is logan’s unhinged first grade teacher. also patton is a creepy mf who is very kind to logan and offers him comfort and protection in a world that expected him to grow up too fast but he also falls in love with logan which is a bit of an oopsie considering that patton is nineteen and logan is FOURTEEN at the time he and patton meet…but also roman and logan are thé best of brothers and the most iconic pair and they understand each other better than anyone and are always trying to protect each other and it’s super sweet and wholesome there’s just a lot of trauma too.

Pitching another one of my TWP Crackpot Theories

Soooo

We know Cassie doesn’t give Clace a break

So I’m calling it now that Janus does kidnap Clary

(And to raise the stakes she’s pregnant too)

Janus takes Clary back to Thule

For some reason Jace isn’t around when this happens (he might be away with Malec that has smth to do with The Black Book of the Dead)

But Clary stayed back to run the NY institute and with her parabatai Simon and Izzy

So Janus kidnaps Clary and brings her back to Thule (maybe before Clary has been able to tell Jace that she is pregnant)

But he doesn’t bring Ash with him (Ash wouldn’t want to go back to Thule anyway)

Dru hears what has happened through Luke at the Academy (prob bc she was spying not bc she was told) and she immediately thinks of Ash knowing he one of the only ones who can open a portal to Thule. So she takes it upon herself to hunt down Ash…

Meanwhile Ty is currently hunting down Kit (he doesn’t know he’s looking for Kit but he’s looking to protect the First Heir from intel the scholomance received that the Seelie Queen and/or the Cohort is after him)

When Ty finally reunites with Kit is when they hear that Dru is missing (most likely it would be when they’re about to have a first kiss but then interrupted)

So obviously they have to go after Dru

And this inevitably ends up with the whole gang headed to Thule (after several adventures in faerie I’m sure: included but not limited to multiple close calls with Kit, seeing Kieran in Unseelie, getting weird warnings from the phouka, and prophetic dreams about the rising of the prince’s of hell)

They do eventually get to Clary and Janus in Thule (Thule Livvy and Ty meeting — devastating) — luckily not much time has past in Thule (Clary is still pregnant)

Kit and Ash together are able unblock Faerie in Thule (we find Thule Mark, Kit, Dru, Simon as well djsbrdjrjj) — imagine Kit has to fight his Thuleself lmao

They return to their world with the Thule Gang in tow (they can’t fight the final battle without Livvy, Raphael, etc— Cam and Thule Livvy maybe 🥹🥹)

Ash + Clary fight together — aunt & nephew bonding 🥹

While they have been gone a lot of shit has gone down!

A few months later, two little babies were brought home, and Roman was very excited. His dads had explained that no one ate a baby, and that he would be a big brother soon. Of course, they said it was only one baby, so why were there two?

“Daddy, did you steal a baby? Stealing is not good, I learned that at church.” Roman said after a few minutes of silently staring at the tiny humans. He didn’t know what he said was so funny, but his dads were laughing, so he must've told a joke. 

“I didn’t steal a baby, Little Prince,” Remus started, snorting with laughter before continuing, “Sometimes people give birth to two, or even three babies. Most of the time, you see it on the scans, remember the ones I had to check if the baby was a boy or a girl? Well, when we should’ve seen two baby boys, this little one hid behind his twin!” 

While his daddy was talking, Janus lifted Roman onto the couch so he could see the babies closer. Immediately, he fell in love with the tiny little people. The boy smiled widely and stroked the closest one's cheek. 

“Hello baby! I’m Roman! You’re very pink. Are you a piggy? That's okay if you are, I like the piggies at the zoo.”
