Iron Man wasn't a hero, and that's precisely why the Avengers sought so diligently to capture him. But it seemed that the man behind the mask was always a step ahead of them, and their many failures were like good old jokes the villain couldn't get enough of. He was destructive, anarchic and mischievous. Steve knew he had to stop him at all costs before his technology affected more than just their city.
His vision changed in spite of himself when, one day, just as Steve was about to enter a burning building headlong to seek out the last citizens to evacuate, he witnessed the massive Iron Man armor emerge from the flames, holding a small bundle in his arms.
A tiny baby with a soot-stained face, wrapped in a half-burnt blanket, bawling pathetically against the heat and lack of air.
He saw the tiny shifting of the armor as Iron Man cradled the baby, his full attention riveted on this defenseless little being. He saw Iron Man gently place his mettalic fingertip against the baby's lips, so that the toddler could suck on it and soothe himself.
Steve lowered his shield, flabbergasted by the sight. Before his eyes was living proof that his beliefs were wrong: Iron Man was not the monster he'd imagined.
The man in the armor straightened up and turned his head in his direction. "The baby needs help, Cap."

The moment Tony saw his baby brother, carefully swaddled in their mothers arms he knew they were soulmates. His first look into Peters eyes filled Tony's world with colour and he knew that Peter himself would never know a world in grey-scale.
Sure he knew his dad was worried about what this meant, Tony had overheard him talking with Jarvis behind a closed door but that didn't matter to him. Tony had his Peter and he would do anything for him and would gladly defend Peter from anything that would hurt him. So his dad didn't have to worry because Tony was there to protect them both.
They were simply meant to be.

@itsybitsypeterparker sent me a BABY
May would kill him if she knew he was out and about, unattended, and even further, using the powers and abilities he absolutely promised her he wouldn't. People were weird about folks with powers. Probably even more opinionated on a child who could hardly control their own. So it was wisest that he tried to behave and act normal. But it was also difficult. Telling a child they cant climb on walls or do a bunch of flips or pick up a whole table was a lot harder to do than May anticipated. And for the most part he was compliant but right now....
Not so much.
He was scaling a building, several feet in the air, high enough for no one to be able to spot him at least. But that also meant if something went awry, he'd end up falling to his doom. He was too excited about his current situation to even think about the consequences. One small hand stuck to the side of this apartment building, both feet tethered to it as well, and the other shielding his eyes from the sun and bright lights of NYC. He had a huge grin on his face, just looking out in the distance, thinking about how cool it was he could be up here.
He hadn't thought he'd had company in the form of a levitating man but....then again, who thought a child could hang from a building?
Erik knows several people who'd sigh and call him dramatic for observing the city from the rooftops, but to him the placement seems ideal: perfect sight lines, and no need to interact with the throngs of humans that crowd the streets. He's only been there for about forty minutes when a chance glance down presents him with the unlikely sight of a kid -- an actual child -- dressed in a scruffy hoodie, jeans and battered shoes clinging to the side of the building. No, not clinging... hanging. Hanging there quite comfortably, as if there were no possible likelihood he might suddenly plunge to his death.
The mutant takes a couple of minutes to watch the child and streets below -- all the while mentally combing every inch of clothing with his mutation in case he needs to catch the kid -- but no-one notices or comes to claim him, and the boy appears to be gazing happily across the city: simply enjoying the view. So Erik does what any self-respecting father adult would do and steps off the building to talk to him.
It's only a short way to levitate down before he stops, lifted by the metal on the soles of his boots and balanced by the magnetic fields surrounding him. Apparently, he has gone unnoticed; hopefully announcing his presence won't be the thing that makes the boy fall. "Aren't you a little young to be out by yourself? And up a building, at that?"

I am so sad I’m pretty sure this fic called “6 avengers and a baby” was deleted. It’s a stony fic about them(including the other avengers) trying to take care of a baby peter parker, who was left at the tower’s doorstep. It was so well written and I loved the dynamic they came too, it wasn’t finished but I didn’t really care. It was on ao3.
Edit: I was able to find it, it isn’t on ao3 anymore but on ko-fi.

Love mpreg!Steve and I love love love Superfamily, so you bet your ass I’m doing a Superfamily AU where Steve gives birth to baby Peter and yes we’ll make it Avengers Assemble because I love it.
After a night on Asgardian mead, Steve wakes up in bed with Tony. Naked. His best friend, his fellow Avenger, the man he would follow into battle no matter- great. At first, it’s fine, it had been a fun Holiday party, Steve and Tony move on, they have to, they’re Avenger after all. But then three months later… Captain America suddenly doesn’t feel too good during battle and finds himself passing out- it’s all over the media. Tony, in a state of panic takes him back to the tower. Running every test, they find that Steve is pregnant. (Some men can get pregnant in this Au, they’re called maternal) Tony’s the father- I’ve got this image of Steve sat on the cot with a bucket in his arms.-Anyway, Steve decides that he wants to have the baby, even if it means passing on the torch, Tony says that he’ll support Steve by any means. There’s tension between them, the good kind, not the civil war kind. It takes a few weeks and a few dates for Tony to realise that he wants to be with Steve, he wants them to be a family, Steve feels the same.
Also in this AU- I still want baby Petey to have his Aunt May and Uncle Ben. So, uh spoilers Ben is Tony’s long lost brother.
What made us a superfamily
1. 1.2: I’m here
2. 2.2: Avengers win a bet
3. Stay with me
4: Aunt May and Uncle Ben
5: Hang it up
6: The World knows
7: Steve’s birthday
8: Papa and Daddy
