~*~ New article ~*~ Carrot Peach and Cherry Puree Now that Prisha eats only table foods, I just cut Carrot and Peach and give them to her for snack time with Cherries (make sure they are seeded). But not too long ago when she was still eating purees, this one was her favorite. I love that Carrot and Peach are stage 1 baby foods, meaning that they can be served to the babies around 4-6 months and up. When adding cherries make sure to mash them with your fingers and throw out the seeds (I do this step with frozen cherries as well). The best way to make sure the babies are eating their purees is by eating our meals with them. That way they feel more engaged. So what do you think mamas? Would you like to give this combo a try? 🎉 2 years ago I started my little food blog to share some of my baby-friendly recipes with close friends and family, and provide a bit of inspiration for those stuck in a food rut. It was also a way for me to keep the old creative brain ticking over, and have half an hour to escape the daily routines of being a stay at home parent. People started making my recipes and sending me messages which spurred me on to share more. I can’t quite believe that over 10,000 people now follow me from all over the world. I’m truly humbled and grateful. This banana and blueberry pancake recipe was the first food post I did. So here it is again, 2 years on and still going strong. Have a great weekend everyone 🙂🙌🏻❤️ ~ 2 ripe bananas 1/2 cup plain flour 1/4 cup rolled oats 1/4 cup blueberries pinch of cinnamon 1 tsp coconut oil ~ 🍌 Mash the bananas in a bowl and stir in the flour, oats and cinnamon. 🍌 If the blueberries are quite large, cut them in half. Add the blueberries to the bowl and stir through. 🍌 Heat a non stick frying pan and add the coconut oil. Reduce to a low heat and spoon 1 tbsp of batter into the pan per pancake. 🍌 Fry each pancake until brown on both sides.
