Point-and-Click-Style First-Person Gameplay — More realistically proportioned and immersive first-person environments bring Heavenly Host to life in all its grim glory, with point-and-click-style “Search Mode” allowing players to scour every inch of every room via keyboard, gamepad, mouse, or any combination thereof…
Original Japanese Voiceovers with More 3D Audio Than Ever Before — Every line of dialogue is spoken in its original Japanese by a who’s who of Japanese voiceover talent, with many crucial scenes recorded in binaural 3D using dummy-head microphones: play with quality headphones or a hi-fi stereo setup to hear the horror coming from all around you, or perhaps from right next to your ear…
Dastardly “Darkening” System Leads to Painful Demise — Characters gradually become frightened and unstable as horrific discoveries are made, distorting the game’s graphics and altering their decision-making abilities; continuing down these darkened paths will result in one of the game’s many dozens of gruesome “Wrong Ends,” all of which are virtually guaranteed to replay in players’ nightmares…
Enhanced Focus on Side Characters — The already robust cast from the original game is further humanized, with a focus on those characters whose screen time may have been lacking before; learn more about your favorite side characters, and find out just what was going on in their heads (before those heads were crushed)...

Synopsis:
An anthology of short stories set before, during, and after the first Corpse Party – in the canon universe, as well as in several Wrong End timelines – Corpse Party: Book of Shadows takes players through a series of events in which students, teachers, and associated family and friends from Kisaragi Academy, Byakudan Senior High, Paulownia High, and Musashigawa Middle School succumb to the curse of Heavenly Host Elementary in new and unique ways.
These events include numerous what-if scenarios where characters make different choices than they did in Corpse Party, resulting in a deeper understanding of who they are and how they think. As the game’s terror-inducing story reaches its final chapter, players will also learn more about the mysterious tome known as the “Book of Shadows,” which may be the linchpin behind everything that’s happened thus far and all the horror still to come.
It becomes more essential than ever that the characters be kept safe during these adventures, too: as their fears rise, they become more unstable, causing their view of the world around them and the choices they make to become distorted and disturbed through the newly introduced “Darkening” system. All of this is added on top of gripping first-person point-and-click style gameplay that pairs with the series’ trademark 3D binaural audio to help bring players directly into the action like never before.

Corpse Party: Sweet Sachiko’s Hysteric Birthday Bash
Developer: Team GrisGris & 5pb. Games Release Date: Winter 2018 Platform: Windows Age Rating: TBA
Originally titled Corpse Party -The Anthology- Sachiko no Ren'ai Yuugi♥Hysteric Birthday 2U in Japan, Corpse Party: Sweet Sachiko’s Hysteric Birthday Bash is a comedic spin-off in the Corpse Party series.
The game originally released for the Playstation Portable in Japan on August 2, 2012.
Synopsis:
The missing link in the Corpse Party saga, now coming to English-speaking audiences officially for the very first time!
Sachiko Shinozaki, the vengeful spirit responsible for the deaths of countless children and adults alike, is turning 7 again (being dead, she never truly ages), and is thus graciously granting her victims 24 hours of amnesty so they can serve as guests at her birthday party. However, if these party-goers thought that Sachiko’s shindig was going to be all fun and games, they thought wrong: Sachiko has invited everyone—including many of the poor souls she’s already killed—to participate in various activities for her amusement, with an overarching (yet heavily twisted) theme of “romantic comedy.”
This game of “ship or die” takes the Corpse Party universe in a totally new direction, but the hellish outcome for these poor, unfortunate students remains the same…

Obsessed with figuring out a way to bring her friends back, Ayumi thus returns to Heavenly Host following a tip that leads her to believe the Book of Shadows still resides within.

I know y’all didn’t ask for it, so I won’t be giving you the full ‘how my friend ruined Corpse Party’, but I still want to share his conspiracy theories so:
Conspiracy Theory 1: Tsukasa was dead during Encounter Phillip theorised that throughout the chapter ‘Encounter’, Tsukasa Mikuni was actually the spirit of a teenage boy who had died at Kisaragi Academy some time before. Specifically, after Yui’s friends told her that someone must have experienced ‘Yoshie After School’, Phillip stated that that someone was Tsukasa. He is the reason the legend is known, as he encountered Yoshie in Kisaragi after 7, left some kind of record of his experiences behind about how scary it was and ultimately died as a result of this experience. His spirit, like that of Makina, is trying to protect Yui, and perhaps while in the school with her was very much reliving his experiences against Yoshie the exact way they’d happened before - perhaps at the time he had been with someone else who had survived and told everyone what happened, but unlike Yui, this someone else ran when Tsukasa distracted Yoshie, and thus Yoshie caught and killed him - maybe she was the one who spread rumours about the curse as a result of Tsukasa’s death. Plot twist she was accused of Tsukasa’s murder. He said it was possible Tsukasa himself was not aware he was dead. Phillip later tried to support his theory with the fact that up until that point, only Yui had directly interacted with Tsukasa or even mentioned him, but very shortly after that, the school nurse at Kisaragi interacted with/mentioned him.
Conspiracy Theory 2: Kizami was dead during Mire When Yuka stated that Kizami’s skin was cold to the touch, ‘like he was already dead’, Phillip immediately blurted that Kizami was already dead. He theorised this time that between killing Mitsuki and returning to the room where he had tied up Yuka, Kizami had met an untimely end. His vengeful and psychotic spirit was still walking around and continuing his wish to straight up murder Yuka. After all, the curse of the school allowed Naho’s ghost to have a physical effect on things, so why not Yuuya too? In a way, this can actually make sense, as he is hinted to have a very physical form after death anyway (as shown in Tortured Souls, Blood Drive and 2U - the anatomical model). This is just before he’s been half-skinned. We even tried to relate the sudden and intense headache to the ‘he’s dead’ thing, saying that maybe it was to do with the darkening and the murder school’s maddening influence (Dewey wouldn’t shut up about how Heavenly Host actively drives you insane during Shangri-La and Tooth) or could have even been the pain from his death, since those who die in Heavenly Host feel the pain of death for all eternity. Though let’s be honest, those first two would still stand if he were still alive.
Conspiracy Theory 3: Kai-sper the Friendly Ghost Or Shimada had some degree of dormant spiritual ability in Tooth There were two parts to this one. Part one, which was actually started by Dewey, who was playing the game, was when the Byakudan kids found the infirmary. We weren’t sure about Kai yet, and when he locked the door like ‘what if there’s a monster in there?’ Dewey immediately yelled ‘he sensed something’. So Phillip, springboarding off that, headcanoned that Kai had dormant spiritual sense or ability (though he used different wording) that told him the infirmary was an even bigger nope than the rest of the school. So basically, he sensed the infirmary was very dangerous, and figured the best way to protect himself and all the others was to lock the door and take the key so no-one else could let whatever was in there out, but couldn’t really explain his feeling of intense nope any better than he did. It only occurred to me recently that a feeling of intense nope made sense, considering that’s where Yoshie’s spirit resides as a murderous black smoke, something Phillip definitely didn’t know at the time but the rest of us did. So what if Yoshie was the thing Kai sensed? Part two of this theory, the part where the ‘ghost’ thing really becomes significant, is after Shimada is dead. When Tohko is running from Yuuya, she trips on the stairs and finds the infirmary key. Since Kai lost it earlier and nobody could see it again, Phillip theorised that Shimada’s ghost had shown it to Tohko to protect her. Whether it be by tripping her so she would fall near the key or moving the key when she fell so she would find it, his ghost did something. He even backed this up by saying ‘well if Naho can have a physical body as a ghost, and that other ghost can break Fukuroi’s neck and send him to the bomb shelter, why can’t Shimada throw a key at Kirisaki’s head?’, basically using the spiritual ability idea from before. Phillip figured that Ghost Shimada knew that even if the infirmary was dangerous, it would be the only place she would be safe from Kizami. Dewey told him to shut up and stop being stupid ‘because no’.

A new creation in the Presage collection of fine mechanical watches once again takes its inspiration from Japan’s everlasting fascination with the moon. Following on from the success of the recent release with a deep blue enamel dial that evoked the night sky, this new limited edition uses one of the most elaborate lacquer techniques of all, Byakudan-Nuri, as well as traditional Urushi, to portray the rich tones of the sky and moon just before dawn. Byakudan-Nuri is a technique that has been used for centuries to decorate Urushi lacquer and, because of the complexity of the craftsmanship involved, was reserved exclusively for use in places and on objects of high status, including temples, shrines and on the armour of Shogun warlords.
https://www.seikowatches.com/global-en/products/presage/special/byakudannuri/img/movie.mp4
Urushi, Byakudan-Nuri and Maki-e
Three traditional techniques are used in combination to create the atmosphere and feeling of the moon against the night sky as dawn approaches. First, the dials are made with the traditional Urushi technique in which jet black lacquer is painted by hand onto the metal base of the dial, dried and then polished. These processes are repeated several times until the craftsman has achieved the exact depth of black that he desires. Using a new layer of Urushi as the binding agent, the sub-dials are then sprinkled with a layer of very fine metallic powder. The whole dial is then repeatedly painted with a red-tinged semi-transparent Urushi lacquer and then each new layer is dried and polished for as many times as the craftsman deems necessary. The effect is subtle but deeply satisfying. While the red of the sub-dials is deep, these two dials catch the light and shine when the ambient light grows brighter, just as parts of the sky catch the dawn light before others.
Now it is time to add the moon, using Maki-e, in the form of the crescent-shaped power reserve indicator. As with the Byakudan-Nuri technique, the crescent is first coated with a layer of Urushi lacquer that acts as the adhesive to the fine, gilt-coloured powder that is then applied to it. Once the powder is on the dial, the craftsman gently taps it to disperse the powder evenly across the surface and then uses his own specially chosen material to perfect the surface. The result is an indicator that not only reflects the shape of the crescent moon but has the moon’s shimmering, granular texture and contrasts with the smoothness of the sky against which it stands out. At last, the dial is complete. Each one is the result of painstaking efforts over a number of weeks because this Byakudan-Nuri technique requires much longer than is needed for a simple Urushi dial.
Every step of these three complex processes, Urushi, Byakudan-Nuri and Maki-e, is completed by hand by the craftsmen and women in the studio of Urushi master Isshu Tamura in the Hokuriku region of Honshu, Japan’s main island. Tamura has been responsible for all the Urushi dials in the Presage collection but, because of the combination of crafts involved and the time, patience and skills required, this Byakudan-Nuri dial created by Tamura and his team takes Presage into a new realm of watchmaking achievement.
The quality of the watch case, movement and all other components reflect that of the dial. The crystal is a dual-curved sapphire crystal, the exhibition case-back reveals the fine finishing of the 6R movement and the watch offers 10 bar water resistance.
The Presage Urushi Byakudan-Nuri Limited Edition is available from early December in selected Seiko outlets worldwide. Just 2,000 will be made and each is offered with its own serial number and in a specially designed presentation case.

Orochimaru by Alice W.
Tumblr media
One: The Evil Will Rise
On a cloudy morning in a messy workroom at leaf blade school, Uchiha Sasuke started his first day of 6th grade. Sasuke had a very bad feeling today, but he didn’t know about what just yet… He just felt excited to be back at school again.
On the opposite side of the world, a gigantic stone thundered from the dark sky. A great crack burst from the stone, then a screeching voice came from the crack. A snakelike villain was born!
Back at school, Sasuke sauntered in the humongous library. Then, he saw a paper that look very old and have text that he can read, but he don’t know what kind of language of it. He reconsidered about taking it secretly and read it at home.
Meanwhile, Orochimaru felt a strong power in her feet that could defeat her easily on the opposite of the world. She sprinted to the cave, where she saw a snake wand on the chair with a snakes eye in the center
“The snake eye...” she gasped. When Orochimaru touched the wand, a shocking message popped into her mind: a boy named Sasuke will defeat her and use the Sharingan eyes on her. A Sharingan eye is a eye that can read your mind.
Two: The Mystery Note
One day, as Sasuke rifled through an old library book, a piece of parchment slipped out. He read the mysterious text aloud:  “One day Orochimaru  will come alive and kill you. Beware of him. Better yet make some Kattana to defeat yourself, beware!
Sasuke stood there petrified. He felt super shocked that someone would want to kill him... someone who he didn’t even know.
Meanwhile, in the forest Orochimaru marched through Leaf Village, ready to kill Sasuke. Though he knew his fate was in his hands, there was still one simple thing that she didn’t know about him even his last name.
In the distance, Carlos noticed a dark shadow quickly coming towards him. He didn't know that anyone could even march so fast that the tree and rocks had to step aside to avoid getting knocked out or flown behind.
He rushed back home and started to make sharp Katanas.
“This is going to be bad,” he thought about fighting to death.
Three: The Fight
Back inside the gigantic library, Orochimaru  searched for the ancient article. He saw handprints all over the restricted area and knew that it was gone. Maleficent felt so mad and let out a loud “ROOOOOOOOAAAAAARRRRRRRR!”
The books cried in response and flooded the entire floor.
Sasuke heard a roar like a thousand thunders pounding at his mini house. A stream of cold sweat formed across his back. His mind told him that Maleficent had arrived.
He put all of the kattana that he made into his giant pocket so that he would be ready to take one out at any second. It was time now to fight to their death.
Carlos jumped onto his kattana like  Ninja Board . In case his parents would worry about him going out so long, he wrote a vacation  note that said, “I’m going to a vacation, it might be long and please don’t worry about me. Love, Carlos.”
Next, he followed the instructions that the ancient text told him and zoomed through the gloomy streets towards the area of the fight. He knew that either he die or Orochimaru  would die. That was the only choice he had.
At the Ninja obstacle course, he spotted Orochimaru standing straight looking at him right in the eye sharply . At that moment, they locked eyes and Orochimaru saw Sasuke on the other side of the obstacle course.
Sasuke murmured to himself, “May the force be with you.”
Four: The Sharingan
Orochimaru started his first attack. Sasuke realized that Orochimaru had great speed, and that is how he would died.
Then, Carlos concentrated very hard, he felt a great burst of charkala on his eye. In the blink of an eye, a Sharingan eye appeared amazingly. A Sharingan  is a type of eye that only the Unchina only have and it can read other person's mind. It would also  help him because then he could read Orochimaru mind.
But Sasuke knew that it would use a lot of his charkala  (energy). So it was not going to be easy!
Five: The Horrible Death
Sasuke stared at Orochimaru. Suddenly, Sasuke pulled out one of his Kattana. In a flash, he disappeared in the mist. Orochimaru  looked around to find him. He can’t see Sasuke laying down inside the ground because he don’t have the Byakugan eye. A Byakudan eye is a type of eye that could see through the ground.
Sasuke Sharingan eye helped him to see through the dirt  ground. He saw Orochimaru staring at the dark sky.  Carlos jumped out of the dirt and pulled out another Kantana, then he then pierced through Orochimaru’s heart.
“Any last word Orochimaru?” Sasuke asked.
Orochimaru barely opened his  eye. He mumbled, ”The next time I see you, you will be dead meat!”
Orochimaru lay on the ground his eyes shut tight and a breathless body.
At last, it was the scariest day of Sasuke’s life, but he could finally relax because Orochimaru had died. From then on, he hoped that every will be a good old day.
