me after doing a full show groom on zombie yesterday: realizing that my dogs don’t lack coat they just aren’t constantly shampooed, conditioned and blow dried....

#dogblr #she's SO poofy rn she looks fat #to me #tail? wonderous #sides? so poofy #and i didn't even backcomb her like is commonly done while blow drying in the states #bc 1.) why the hell would i do that #and 2.) i do like 90% of my bath and groom process through cooperative conditining #like dog is on the porch and unrestrained and allowed to come and go to the bathing area as they desire #this greatly reduces stress during bathing imo #also quick dry spray is incredible #and this is the first time i've used a conditioner after shampoo and she is VERY sofy #i would never try to mess with their coat texture in such a way during the winter and i usually leave their coats alone for the most part #bc they are correctly dense and textured #but they do get REALLY dry when they're blowing coat #feels wonderful #and i got a low scent day to day chris chistensen shampoo #and a general color safe conditioner #it was worth the money mostly bc it motivated me to bathe her for the first time since 2018... #she looks no less poofy or coated than any other non-long coat carrier show dog #just saying
