summary: you never actually bothered interacting with your neighbors tbh nor did daniel who is just living right beside your place. but fate plays along, in a funny way.

a/n: i’m not good with fluff au tbh but anyways, dedicated to those who needed a cute daniel scenario hehehe

you’re just coming back home from college and you’re like 100% done with life tbh, all you wanted to do is take a long bath and go to sleep

like always, you would hear a bunch of noise from different directions because most of the people living that apartment are college students

ofcourse you know who they are, and possibly how they are

but nah, talking with them? definitely a no from you

it’s not like you’re shy or anti-social

you’re just…. tired lol

and yes, you do know kang daniel

actually everyone knows kang daniel

but that’s not the point

daniel is your neighbor ever since you came as a first year student in your college

daniel is your senior by a year so he lived in the apartment longer than you did

also you guys never actually greeted each other properly

and it’s already the third year you’re here,,,,

so anyways, you’re about to unlock your apartment before you heard a loud shriek from daniel’s apartment

now you’re not the type to be curious of those stuff like let’s be real here, it’s going to waste your resting time

but you had no choice but to witness a group of guys pushing each other, playing around and probably some arguing at the backcoming out from daniel’s place

and you literally have the “what-the-hell” look on your face like who are these people making extra sound pollution at night

you see daniel approaching you and tbh you just want to enter your apartment right now

but your feet stays on the ground like uh are you mesmerized by kang daniel……again…..

and no, you do not have a crush on him

it’s just that daniel looks hella good like 24/7 and it’s impossible not to like that

your mind right now: ok you need to chill because daniel is about to talk to you again-

“my friends are drunk so they’re doing dumb stuff”

suddenly you see this jaehwan guy trying to fight with the other guy who 100% looks done with him (coughs minhyun coughs)

then you see another guy putting his arm on daniel’s shoulder while eyeing you

daniel basically drags everyone away, especially seongwoo that is spitting out some random pick up lines to you lmao,,,,,

you don’t see them anymore

except daniel ofcourse

but somehow you’re like more aware of daniel’s presence now

like you realized how you guys always go out from the apartment at the same time

and also when you guys go back home

after 3 years,,,,,,,,,,,

sometimes daniel greets you

and you get awkward sometimes when he does it… because you NEVER get greetings there

but daniel’s greets became like a routine and you expect it everyday now

and it’s super weird because one time he didn’t come out from his apartment in the morning

and you were 100% sure he had a class that day

and you felt empty when you came out the apartment alone,,,, 

you lowkey needed his simple “hi, good morning” 

but you highkey went like “pshh, i don’t need his greeting lol it’s getting annoying anywAYS”

but that’s obviously a lie

so that whole day you felt so grumpy like everyone was like 

“are you okay”

“YES OF COURSE why would…i….not…be….okay”

“your face looks so stressed out, are you sure you’re okay–”

“CAN YOU STOP ASKING BECAUSE I AM 100% SURE THAT I AM FINE OKAY”

ANDDDD basically everyone just stops talking to you for that day 

you didn’t mind though because you didn’t want to remind yourself it’s because of that neighbor of yours

but when you came back to your apartment that day

you hear the door beside yours open

before you could register it in your mind

there was daniel with his messy hair

and black hoodie with his ripped jeans

looking hella good AGAIN

“oh hi, y/n!! good evening” 

“….”

daniel got confused because you didn’t answer back and it was making him feel awkward and he wanted to just leave,,,, but then you were like 

“hi daniel!!!”

you suddenly hated yourself because your ass got too excited over a GREETING

everything got so awkward but daniel got shy????? his lips smiled so widely????? and he just????? nod his head cutely

you got so embarrassed tbh and you just unlocked your door and shut it quickly

your heart was beating quickly and you were so in denial over the whole thing with daniel

you: my heart is beating like this because i ran into my apartment too fast right”

daniel at the other side: are they going to make my heart flutter everyday,,,,,,,,, but i like it though…..

so after that day, you get extra cautious over your reply to daniel

ok so you did make things alot awkward

but daniel is just a happy bean because he gets to talk to you everyday

he’s also sad that the only thing you both speak with each other is greetings only

but like he also tried to ask you about other stuff but he’s scared he asks too much and bothers you

because apparently you didn’t “run” like what he told you to do when you see the guys

specifically seongwoo

you sometimes see seongwoo at your college because your department is near his

and he goes like “hey there!!! wanna go and have lunch together!!!”

you find him fun to hang out with tbh 

even though 99% is him dragging you to eat lunch with him

daniel knows about you hanging out with seongwoo because seongwoo tells him everything,,,,,

“do you want to eat lunch with us”

“no it’s ok, you guys go ahead”

seongwoo tells you that daniel can’t make it again

and your smile just drops naturally but you just quickly try to act normal

seongwoo figures out something you haven’t even realized it yourself

basically you guys are a bunch of cute shy people

This Bridal look was created on precurled hair using padding, pins, hairspray and hair grips. 

I sectioned the hair into three sections from the back to the front using a tailcombe. I completely sectioned the front part away with a hair bobble and then conpleted the middle section with a section clip.

I then put the bottom section into a bobble then applied padding just over the bobble.

I then continued to clip the padding to the head using hair grips then pulled the excess hair over the padding and then applied a hair bobble to the end of the hair and secured it under the padding.

 I then spread the hair out over the padding and then clipped the hair that was at the side of the padding to the head.

I then continued to do the same action on the middle section of the leaving some of the excess hair out then combed the curl back into place.

I backcomed the top section at the root and applied hairspray so as to acheive as much  volume as possible.

Then I pinned the excess curls into place on the padding. I continued to make a parting on the side of the head using a tailcombe and combed and pinned the hair onto the padding. I finished off the look with some diamonte accesories to achieve my bridal look.

its long but good.

i couldnt rememeber what happened last night. all i rememeber was waking up and feeling nothing for anyone or anything. i felt empty and......dead. at least thats what i thought i felt.

i woke up and laid in bed for an extra five minutes.i went to get out of bed but someones arm was over my waist. i immediately pushed them off and jumped out of bed. they woke up and frowned.

“what the hell was thst for?”

“josh i thought you were someone else!”

“who would i have been”

“i dont know but i......just get out of my house!”

“can i atleast have a coffee first”

“no you can’t.....cheeky.”

he walked out of the bedroom nd downstairs. i had known josh since junior school. i went with him on his first tour with the rest of motionless in white, i went with him to get his first tattoo but sometimes i really hated him for some of the things he did. he got his leather jacket and walked to the door.

“bye y/n. can we meet up later?”

“sure. just go”

“alright bye”

he closed the door and then i went to get coffee, hoping it would make me feel something. i took a sip from my cup but still felt nothing. what was wrong with me?

i decided to get dressed. i was wearing my skinnies with my  In This Moment band tee on with my demonia boots on.i added my choker and straighetened my hair and then backcomed it to make it puffy. i was going to meet Chris at startbucks before i met josh.

T’HAIR STORY - BANARAMA

Bananarama

……... are an English female pop group formed in London in 1979 by friends Sara Dallin, Siobhan Fahey and Keren Woodward.  Their success earned the group a listing in The Guinness Book of World Records as the all-female group with the most chart entries in the world, a record which they still hold.

Following Fahey's departure from the group in 1988 to form the band Shakespear's Sister, their mate Jacquie O'Sullivan  joined the group for three years. Since 1992, Keren Woodward and Sara Dallin have continued Bananarama as a duo. On 9 July 2012, Rhino Records released a greatest hits CD and DVD Collection "30 Years of Bananarama" to celebrate the band's 30th anniversary. On 9 August 2012, the band performed at the men's final of the beach volleyball at the London Olympics, where they performed a medley of  their hits "Cruel Summer",  " Love In The first Degree" and their worldwide hit "Venus"  originally a number one song from 1969  by the Dutch band Shocking Blue. In 1986,  Bananarama returned the song to number one in seven countries including the US. Their version has since been featured in numerous films, television shows and commercials.

 Last month Edsel Records release a 3CD collection of remixes titled Megarama The Mixes

Anyway, enough about the band, what about their hair?  They were known as much for their hair and fashion sense as well as their music. They became friends because they dressed more radically than the other students at college. The trio were followers of the punk rock and post punk music scene during the late 1970s and early 1980s and often performed impromptu sets or backing vocals at gigs. After turning down the offer to work with Sex Pistols manager Malcolm McLaren, UK fashion magazine The Face featured an article on Bananarama after the release of their first single . This caught the attention of ex- Specials member Terry Hall, who invited them to collaborate with his new vocal group Fun Boy 3  on the track " T'ain't What You Do ( It's The Way That You Do It)" in 1982.  The song hit the Top 5 in the UK and gave Bananarama their first significant mainstream success. Fun Boy Three then guest starred on Bananarama's single, " Really Saying Something", later that year.

Their look was Tombyish, wearing dungarees and t-shirts, and their hair was big and backcombed. The girls became style icons for many young girls over the world, and their hair was part of the look.

I decided to feature them in T'hair Story, as I can't really ignore them to be honest because their hairstyles were so unique at the time.

I hope you enjoy our look at their hairdrobe plus I've added a couple of their classic music vids for your enjoyment, where I believe they had their best hair moments in.

This look was acheived by using padding pins hairspray and a tailcomb smoothing comb .I first sectioned the hair from ear to ear then clipped the bac part with a sectioning clip .I then proceeded to section the two side parts away from the top .I then backcomed the middle section at the back and continued to smooth it out with the smoothing brush.I then unclipped the back section put in a hair band then clipped some padding ,I then applied a hairban at the bottom of the hair rolled it under the padding then smoothed the hair all over the padding and clipped the hair underneith .

and then i smoothed the two sides over the boofone and pinned them underneith.

This Elizabethan era hairstyle is a look I had to recreate in one of my historical concept lessons.

It consisted of sectioning the hair right down the middle with a tailcomb I put a hair band in one side to secure it away from the other side.

I then partoned a line round the outter edge of the hair, and then put the rest in a hairband.

I then cainrowed what hair I had left on the edges of the hair. and then attached a hair bun to the pony tail. I then brushed out the ponytail then backcomed it pulled it back down over the hair dounut , secured another hairbobble over the top of it.

 I then took out the outter edge of the hair out of the cainrow and crimped it with crimping irons, all the way round.

I then pinned the crimped hair to the bun starting with the front section and worked it all the way round. I then continued to do the following on the other side and achieved my finished result.

This look is a 1940 s look I recreated in one of my lessons it was created using backcoming hairspray and hair grips and curling tongs.

.First I sectioned the hair into four section the two side anda triangel on the top a line down the middle and half way up the back of the head going across the head.

Then I put section clips in all my sections so as to not get excess hair in my other sections.

I then curled one side with curling tongs in a inward mothion and then let it cool down applied some hairspray to the ends of my curl and let it dry .

I then pulled out my curl and continued to backcomb the lower section of hair to create volume and flexability.

I then smoothed out the hair with a smoothing brush and then continued to turn the hair into victory roll I secured it with hair grips being carful so as to not see the grips 

I then applied hairspray and smoothed up the excess hair with the smoothing brush.

I then continued to do the same acttion on the other side which  left only the top section and the back section of hair to attend to.

I got the top section and curled it with the curling tong s and tipped the curl into my hand, applied hairspray and let it cool down.

I backcomed it at the route applied more hairspray brushed it out and continued to create a pincurl.

 I then opened it out and secured it to the left section of hair using hairgrips and then moved onto the back section of hair.

I curled the back section of the hair with curling tongs backcomed the root of the hair and rolled the hair undernieth .

 I was happy with the overall look.
