September 15, 2023 The wedding of Rebekkah and Calvin in Castlegar, BC was a truly special and intimate occasion that perfectly captured their love and personalities. Set in a beautiful rustic countryside property, the backyard venue created a warm and inviting atmosphere for a memorable celebration.

The day started with clear skies, but there was a hint of smoke in the air from nearby wildfires, adding a touch of mystery to the ambiance. Guests arrived to find a stunning outdoor setup, with white wooden chairs arranged in rows facing a simple wooden altar decorated with wildflowers and greenery. The backdrop of British Columbia's wilderness, with its majestic mountains and tall trees, created a picturesque scene.

Rebekkah and Calvin chose to write their own vows, and when the time came for the ceremony, their heartfelt promises to each other moved everyone in the audience. So I don't post much on here, nor have I been super active for a while but I wanted to share what is now the best day of my life.

I got to marry my best friend, my partner of 12 years on our anniversary and we had our family and close friends celebrating with us.

In one of the photos below you can see me blowing the dust off my vows having been so long since I started writing them 😂

It still feels surreal to now be Mrs and to call him my husband but it's been a long time coming and I can not wait for the rest of our together.
