The young man noticed a moment later.

Hazy, half-lidded eyes—yes, blue—blearily fixed themselves in his direction. The—Luke’s head lolled in the bacta as he examined Vader back.

Summary:

Footsteps approached, loud and echoing. It must have been a grand chamber he was sitting in, but Luke couldn’t see it. He felt hot. He wanted to claw the mask off. If he tried, though, as he’d naively tried the first day to remove it with cautious hands, he would get electrocuted. Luke kept himself still.

Okay so I really like the bacta tank from the Boba Fett series because it not only proves that yes, you can use a bacta tank without being 100% critical and on deaths door (someone tried to argue that comfort wasn’t an issue cause it’s only for extreme stuff, which I think is stupid and if my patient was nearly dead I would like them to at least be comfortable but whatever) and also that for regular use, being in an upright position isn’t that great to sleep or relax in…

But. I still have an issue with this lay-down bacta tank. And it’s entirely to do with the fact that you’re laying on a hard surface (they could at least develop a padding that could cushion the body…) with all of that bacta on TOP of you. How much pressure is that putting on the patients chest?????
