#bad caretaker
Helpless caretakers are on my mind today
A helpless caretaker who knows so well what kind of hell Whumpee is going through right now, and can't ever seem to fall asleep.
A helpless caretaker who can reach Whumpee whenever they want to, can hold them and comfort them and say sorry all they want, but know that even trying to actually pull Whumpee out of the torture would result worse off for the both of them.
A helpless caretaker who can't let Whumpee know that they're on their side.
A helpless caretaker who doesn't know what's the right thing to do.
A helpless caretaker who's on the brink of becoming the reluctant whumper.
A helpless caretaker who has to run off mid-sentence and cry in a bathroom stall.

whump fic where whumpee is being held captive by whumper and continually tries to escape to find where caretaker is being held so they can get out of here together, but as the story progresses it becomes more clear that whumpee is a victim of stockholm syndrome/brainwashing by "caretaker" and is actually being rehabilitated by "whumper" after being rescued, not kidnapped

Febuwhump Day 6: "You lied to me"
Content warning: hospital whump, (arguably) bad caretaker
“You lied to me.”
Those were the words Caretaker was greeted with when they entered Whumpee’s hospital room. They looked small and sickly in their bed, medical equipment seeming to engulf their thin frame. A sickly blush covered their face, looking almost like a rash on irritated skin. Their eyes were still glassy, but far more alert than when Caretaker had last seen them.
Caretaker hadn’t expected them to be awake yet. Let alone sitting upright in bed. Let alone glaring at Caretaker with so much venom that they nearly took a step back in shock.
:”Baby, what–”
“You said you’d never force me to do anything I didn’t want to do. You lied.”
“I–,” the denial died in Caretaker’s throat before it formed. Whumpee was right, technically. Caretaker had known they would refuse to go to the doctor. The only reason they’d gone before was because they’d been unconscious, and even then they’d demanded to be released as soon as possible. They would never willingly decide to go to the hospital.
Caretaker knew all that. And so when Whumpee, already struggling to recover from what they’d endured under Whumper, had fallen ill, Caretaker knew they’d never agree to see a doctor.
And so Caretaker hadn’t bothered asking.
It’d been easy to slip something into their food. They usually would’ve noticed it instantly, but illness had dulled their sharp mind and left them half delirious with fever. It’d been easy to bundle their limp, far too light body in a blanket and tuck them into the car. It’d been easy to ignore the look of betrayal in their half lidded eyes, and pretend their slurred objections were just incoherent mumblings.
Some part of them had hoped Whumpee wouldn’t remember it.
“I had no choice,” they said instead.
“You had no choice?” Whumpee laughed, humorless and unpleasant. “You drugged me and dragged me to the hospital. Who forced you to do that?”
“I had to, Whumpee. You weren’t getting better. You were sick, and injuries from–...from before–,” Caretaker hesitated, stuttering.
Whumpee did not. “From Whumper? You can say it. I’m not going to fall apart.”
Caretaker nodded, swallowing thickly. “You were already hurt, your body couldn’t handle illness alongside that. You may not remember but–,” the memory of the coughing fits that left Whumpee struggling to stay upright, the unfocused and cloudy eyes staring dully at nothing, the ever rising number on the thermometer, flashed through Caretaker’s mind. “--it was bad. I was worried you’d die. I just wanted to help you, and I knew you wouldn’t let me.”
“So it’s my fault now?,” Bitterness dripped from every word Whumpee spoke. They tried to lift themselves into a more upright position, arms shaking from the effort, and Caretaker had to resist the urge to rush over and help them. “It’s my fault I don’t get to make decisions for myself anymore?”
“I never said that.”
“You think you just have a right. Because you ‘care about me’, you have the right to ignore every single thing I want. Because you’re smarter, because you know better.”
“Just listen–”
“No, you listen,” the words came out in a growl. Whumpee’s hands gripped at the bedsheets, shaking. “Everyone’s always–always deciding shit for me! Treating me like I can’t be trusted anymore, like I’m some little kid who can’t think for themselves! Whumper thought the exact same thing, but it’s fine when you do it, right?!”
“Stop it.” the words came out more harshly than Caretaker had expected. Whumpee flinched back as if they’d been hit, falling silent. “Don’t compare me to them. I’m trying to help you, and you’re fighting me at every turn! We just got you back, and it’s like you’re trying to leave again,” the words spilled out of Caretaker, half angry, half pleading. “I’m not going to sit by and let you hurt yourself.”
The two fell into silence. For the briefest moment, a look of fear flash over Whumpee’s face. They shrank back, and in that instant the guilt Caretaker felt nearly sent them to their knees. Whumpee’s look of resentment returned only a moment later, but the anger that had fueled it seemed snuffed out. They wouldn’t look Caretaker in the eye.
The beeping of Whumpee’s heart monitor, insistent and far too fast, felt like a condemnation in Caretaker’s ears.
Caretaker let out a shuddering sigh, a hand coming up to rest in their hair. “I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have yelled.”
Whumpee was silent for a long moment, not turning their gaze upward. When they finally spoke, their voice was quiet, drained of energy. “Just leave.”
“Please, just let me explain–,”
“Please. Don’t make me beg.”
“I’m sorry.”
Whumpee didn’t respond. They didn’t look up when Caretaker left.

(Content warnings: Burning alive, implied death, immortal whumpee)
Everything thinks Whumpee is dead, but they're just in a heavily/magically induced sleep. Whumpee's friends decide to cremate their body. Whumpee wakes up in the chamber they're being burned in and scream to get out, pounding on the case.
Bonus points if they have some form of immortality and they are unable to die, just going through it until Whumpee's friends realize what happened. The trust there is forever strained.

Content: Starvation, dehydration, social isolation, mentioned beatings, betrayal, bad caretaker, implied captivity.
"You knew what I was going through and did nothing."
Caretaker practically fell to their knees following their confession, tears welling in their eyes as they wrapped their arms around Whumpee's legs. "I'm so sorry. I let them manipulate me into thinking it was what was best for you. I- I realise now, that it wasn't."
Their heart just about shattered when Whumpee gently pushed them away again. "But... I was beaten. I was starved and dehydrated and locked in a dark room for weeks. How could you-" They cut themself off as their voice broke. "How could you, even for a second, think that was best for me?"

Fight
This is another dark one guys, it's dealing with suicide again, no one dies but if this topic triggers you, then you shouldn't read this one.
“Come on!” Hero shouted, “is that all you’ve got!? Hit me!”
Villain tilted their head, their dark energy-filled fist freezing mid-strike.
“Why are you taunting me?” they asked slowly.
“Why do you care!?” Hero demanded, “do it, you know you want to- I’ve been a pain in your side since they day we met! Or are you going soft?”
Villain’s eyes narrowed. They shot an energy beam right at them. Hero didn’t move. The beam hit them squarely in the chest, knocking them to the ground.
They didn’t even try to dodge, Villain thought.
“What was that?” Hero bit out, staggering to their feet, “I thought you were a villain, not a sissy!”
Hero and Villain stood there for far too long before Hero growled, throwing an ice beam at them. Villain easily side-stepped it.
They’re barely fighting back, Villain thought.
“Hero, stop.” Villain said.
“What, you don’t wanna fight me now?” Hero asked, “am I making it too easy for you? You don’t wanna kill me unless it’s when I’m at my prime, is that it? You’re sick. If you won’t fight me, I’ll find someone who will!”
Hero turned to leave, but Villain struck, pinning them to the ground with a blanket of dark energy.
“No.” they said, striding up to them.
Tears brimmed in Hero’s eyes.
“Do it,” they said quietly, “please.”
“You’re not well,” Villain said, lifting Hero into their arms, “I’m not going to kill you. I’ve never wanted to kill you, and I’m not going to let you kill yourself either.”
Hero struggled in the cocoon of dark energy, writhing in Villain’s hold. The tears were falling freely now.
“Villain, please,” they begged, “please let me go, please don’t make me stay here any longer, I can’t do it-”
“You are stronger than this,” Villain snapped, “and you will get through this. You don’t get to quit.”
Hero opened their mouth to beg some more when they felt a pinch in their neck. A syringe coated in Villain’s power whizzed over their head and back into Villain’s pocket.
“No!” Hero shouted.
Villain began to walk back to their base, holding Hero tight. Hero continued to thrash around in their grip, until eventually their eyes fluttered shut, and their limbs fell still. Villain watched the steady rise and fall of their chest as though they might stop at any moment.
Hero stirred on a soft surface. Their eyes fluttered open, though their vision was too blurry to make out any surroundings. They had been wrapped in a plush blanket. Their vision started to clear, and they made out Villain’s figure, their arms folded across their chest, a concerned frown on their face.
Hero bolted upright in bed. They scrambled to untangle themselves from the bedding and stood up. The action sent a wave of dizziness through them but they somehow managed to steady themselves. They started to march right up to Villain when-
“Gah!”
Hero banged their head against a thick layer of glass. They put their palm up to it as if that would make it disappear, eyes going wide.
“What is this!?” Hero demanded.
“An intervention,” Villain replied coolly, “I went through a lot of trouble to make this cell a comfortable living space and not, well, a cell.”
Hero’s eyes darted around the cell wildly. The thick glass wall in front of them had a keypad only accessible from Villain’s side, and the other, stark white walls had been hastily decorated with things like a television, a shelf full of books, and a small intercom panel. There were cameras at all angles, and there was a doorway that led to a tiny bathroom.
“This is ridiculous,” Hero spat, “you thinking keeping me prisoner is going to give me a will to live? You’re crazy! If anything, this is just going to make it worse!”
Villain didn’t respond. They just stared at Hero, whose hands had clenched into fists at their sides.
“Let me out,” they said.
“I’ve contacted some of my colleagues,” Villain said, “one of them retired from villainy and is now pursuing what I’m told is a very fulfilling career in psychotherapy. You’ll be talking to them tomorrow.”
Hero stared slack-jawed at Villain.
“Now you’re telling all your friends about my problems!? I swear Villain, as soon as I get out of this I’ll-”
“You’re not getting out of this.” Villain said flatly.
Hero cursed loudly, tears brimming in their eyes.
“I don’t want to be here, don’t you get that!? I’m sick of all of this, I don’t want-”
“I don’t care what you want,” Villain said sharply, “I’m not going to lose you. I don’t care if you never speak to me again; as long as you’re still alive, I’ll be satisfied.”
Villain turned to leave, heading to the stairs. Hero slammed their fist into the glass.
“Villain! Get back here!”
Villain ignored them, going up the stairs and out of sight.
“This isn’t your call to make! Villain! Let me go!”
Hero screamed in frustration. They punched the wall with an icy fist that did nothing but make their knuckles throb. They looked around the cell for anything they could use to escape. There was nothing. In a final act of desperation, they formed an ice shard, intending to jam it into their chest, but just as the tip made contact with their skin, it melted.
Hero looked at their wrist, seeing a power-suppressing bracelet there. They sobbed in defeat, crumpling to the floor. They hugged themselves, letting out every guttural cry they had been holding in for the last month.
Upstairs, Villain watched the scene unfold through the security feed. As Hero wailed, Villain’s heart shattered. Looks like they were going soft after all.

Not normally a fan of bad caretakers BUT--
Imagine a caretaker who just loves the attention they get for it. They get to be the star of the show, rescuing whumpee and nursing them back to health. They're a hero, always saving this poor soul who seems to be caught up in something over their head.
Of course it was organic the first few times, with Caretaker actually saving Whumpee, but once Caretaker started getting high on the attention and praise, things suspiciously got a lot easier for Whumper.
Keys to Whumpee's house showed start showing up in the mail. Then it's times and places to best kidnap Whumpee listed out. Eventually Whumper just starts getting fat wads of cash and a "to do" list from their mysterious benefactor.
Whumper knows who it is of course, no doubt, but Caretaker is still a little surprised when they show up in their home, letting themselves in through an unlocked window.
"I ain't doing it." Whumper states, spitting their words out as they drop Caretaker's cash on the ground, shaking their head. "Look, I know I'm a monster. But... you want me to do THAT to them? No. Go to hell. I'm fucking done."

I am once again thinking about living weapon/guard dog whumpee's....
A living weapon whumpee who is just so extremely conditioned that they will not even sleep or eat if not given permission to do so by their master
A guard dog whumpee that is meant to be at their masters side at all times and also be alert to anyone that could be a threat to them but due to having spent so much time just trapped in a tiny and sound-proofed room being tortured for god knows how long, big crowds or even just like, multiple stimuli will cause them to have sensory overload
Living weapon whumpee that is legitimately terrifying, like they have and will kill at the command of their master and will obey the whims of them without any objections as well.
Multiple living weapon whumpee's! They are all deeply conditioned but also feel a very strong kinship towards each other, even if they cannot show it due to the conditioning
And how about their caretaker's?
A caretaker that is smaller and weaker than whumpee, being unable to carry or restraint them when necessary, yet still is determined to help them
A caretaker that is younger than whumpee and is both scared of and hesitant to help them!, whumpee being completely subservient to them does not calm their fear in the slightest
A caretaker that has given up on deconditioning whumpee, simple trying keeping them in a soothed passive state, where they don't harm others or themselves, but are not healed just using their own conditioning in a different way.
Idk man, sorry if something is written weirdly, it's 3 am and English is not my first language, hope ya thought these ideas were interesting at least.

dialogue 15
bad caretaker ask game
15. "one more sound and i swear i'll bring you back to whumper."
[tw bad caretaker, whumpee goes nonverbal, betrayal, past trauma]
"One more sound and I swear I'll bring you back to Whumper."
The room immediately fell silent after that, and Caretaker didn't even seem to care about the way Whumpee's tear-filled eyes widened in sheer terror. They went on with the bandaging process as though their words had meant nothing at all. As though that wasn't the most horrifying thing they could've said.
Whumpee couldn't see straight from the panic. They took the rough treatment without a single hiss, focusing all their energy on drawing the quietest breaths they could.
They were not going back. They didn't want to go back. They didn't want Caretaker to bring them back. Going back was one thing, but if they absolutely had to, they would've... wanted their friend to object to it.
Was that selfish of them?
Had they been selfish this entire time?
Was that why Caretaker was so incredibly upset with them, to the point of wanting to hand them over to their abuser?
After minutes of having worked themself up, Whumpee's mind gave out. It was like a switch being flipped, all that anxiety suddenly disappeared and left a gaping hole in its wake. They felt nothing. They couldn't hear anything over the buzzing in their ear; the sound of static was too overwhelming.
They stared at the floor for what felt like an eternity. Their mind was going to places it hadn't in a very long time, and they flinched violently when Caretaker shook them by the shoulders — they didn't let a single sound escape, though.
"Whumpee. We're done."
Whumpee looked at them almost like they were a stranger. In a way, they were. It was easier to believe that, than to think a person who had promised them protection and safety was so ready to threaten several more years of torture at the hands of someone who had already done it once.
They nodded in acknowledgement.
Caretaker sighed. "Don't... don't do this. I didn't mean that. You don't have to go on a week-long nonverbal strike against me."
Whumpee opened their mouth to answer, to make sure Caretaker knew they weren't upset at all. Because they weren't. Not at all. They weren't upset. They weren't. They couldn't be. They had no right to be. They had to be good, they had to be pleasant so Caretaker wouldn't have a reason to threaten this again. But as they tried to form the words to reassure their friend, they just couldn't do it.
"For fuck's sake, Whumpee..." Caretaker rubbed their temples in frustration. "I– no, I'm not– I'm not doing this. I'm not indulging your fucking paranoia. Not today. Take your time, calm down a little, and then we can talk later if you want." They stood up and grabbed the remaining roll of gauze, promptly leaving Whumpee alone in the kitchen.
Whumpee eventually forced themself to move so Caretaker wouldn't get even angrier by the time dinner rolled around and they were still sitting in the same spot, retreating to their room instead. They knew hiding in there would cause more conflicts, but their brain still felt like it had been scrambled. There was nothing in their head but a primal need to protect themself, a need so strong it made their throat close up every time they tried to practise their apology.
They couldn't even cry. Whumper hated whenever they cried.

anon asked:
Okay I know it's been like a month since you posted it but do you have any extra inspiration or similar for the one where whumpee wasn't allowed on furniture and caretaker allows them on furniture??? Because that was so good 😊
(I'm not good with asks I'm sorry if this was a problem)

prev
tw accidental bad caretaker, past trauma, pet whumpee, conditioning
"Remember the first time you mustered up the courage to get on here?" Caretaker asked with an amused smile, carding their fingers through Whumpee's hair. The former 'pet' was lounging on the sofa with them, head in their lap — something that would've been unimaginable just a year ago. "You freaked out when I came home early. It was a disaster."
Whumpee hummed.
"I got so scared for a moment when it happened," they went on. "I thought there was something actually serious going on! And then it just turned out to be the furniture dilemma. I'm so glad we're past that, hm?"
"Can we stop talking about it?" Whumpee mumbled, and Caretaker's smile faltered.
"Oh. Sorry, I didn't realise–"
"I know. Not like it's actually serious."
Caretaker's cheerful attitude vanished, and they finally noticed just how tense Whumpee was. They withdrew their hand, and sure enough, Whumpee sat up and pressed themself into the opposite corner of the sofa. "Hey... I'm sorry. I didn't mean it like that."
"Of course not."
"I know it was serious to you."
"I thought I was going to be whipped within an inch of my life," Whumpee said bluntly. "Yes, we could say it seemed quite serious to me at the time. But I guess it makes for a good funny-embarrassing story to tell over dinner."
Caretaker averted their eyes. "It's not embarrassing to have trauma. I just wanted to remind you how far you've come."
"Not that far, I guess." Whumpee gently eased themself down onto the floor. For a brief moment, Caretaker thought they did it out of spite; but Whumpee's burning red cheeks told another story. "Because now that you brought it up, I... I can't stay on there. I guess we're not really past it. And I was rude, so I have to balance that out as well, and... I don't know. I don't know. But the funny jokes about it have to wait for a couple more months."
"Whumpee, you weren't rude to me. Even if you had been, you wouldn't have had to–"
"I don't need explanations. I know. It doesn't make sense. It's a major step back. A disaster."
"I'm sorry," Caretaker said softly. "I wasn't trying to make it into a joke, and I wasn't trying to embarrass you. It's not a disaster, it's not a setback, I'm sorry for making you feel like it was anything to be ashamed of. Okay?"
Whumpee sighed and hugged their knees. "You don't have to explain yourself. I'm sorry for being so defensive."
"You can be as defensive as you want. It was insensitive of me. I just thought... I don't know. I thought you'd feel... proud of yourself. But I shouldn't have drawn attention to it."
Whumpee didn't respond. Caretaker slowly inched a bit closer, reaching out as carefully as they could to pet their friend's hair. Whumpee let them.
"I won't mention it again," they promised.
"Thanks," Whumpee muttered. "I... I don't like to think about it. Whenever I do, I... I get scared again."
Caretaker nodded. "It's okay to be scared. But please know it's unfounded. I won't ever hurt you for things like this. I won't ever hurt you for anything, okay?"
Whumpee looked up at them, awfully vulnerable. They looked like they wanted to ask something, but it caught in their throat. "Okay," they said eventually, and buried their face in their knees again. "I understand."

Whumpee thinks Caretaker is their new master. Good trope, right? But check this out;
Caretaker doesn't notice.
Because the morning after the day they were rescued, all Whumpee did was get Caretaker a cup of coffee. It was only after then that Whumpee realized new master new rules, and Caretaker might not like coffee at all. So after an hour or so of a panic attack, Whumpee decides to stay put and not do anything.
But Caretaker didn't say anything about that coffee, so Whumpee should probably keep doing that?
And so, every morning, Caretaker gets a cup of coffee, says thank you, that's a nice gesture, and gets done with the day, while Whumpee tries to stay as quiet and unnoticed as possible. Not angering Caretaker is their top priority. Caretaker notices Whumpee is really, really quiet, but hey, they might just like it quiet. They do seem a little scared, but they've been putting off well, so Caretaker is positive that they'll get better with time.
Then Caretaker hears Whumper liked a cup of coffee every morning.
That's.. a strange coincidence.
I hope that's a coincidence.
And they finally try to talk to Whumpee about it, and Whumpee breaks into tears and Caretaker realizes what a mess this is,

Whumpee was rescued by caretaker after they were kidnaped. They were eternally gratefully to say the least and caretaker seemed thrilled with the attention.
Later whumpee found a misplaced letter that detailed their kidnapping so well it was like whoever wrote it was there.
That... Or this was the script; written in caretaker's handwriting.

Love love love fake-outs in whump because there's just so many angst potentials ranging from "oh no :(" to "oh my fucking god"
Whumpee finally managing to escape, running as fast as their legs will carry them right into the arms of Caretaker who tearfully tells them they'll never lose them again...only to wake up and realize it had been a delirious dream from blood loss
Someone coming across Whumpee who begs them for help, pleading for rescue, and this poor stranger is so startled and hurriedly assures Whumpee that everything will be okay, they won't let anything happen to them, they'll call the police and...haha, sorry, couldn't keep a straight face any longer. Whumper, did you get all that? Send me a picture of that face, it's too priceless.
Caretaker has finally found Whumpee after so long and are working on getting the shackles off, whispering soft praises and promises that everything is all over now, there's nothing to be afraid of because Whumper is...well, they thought Whumper was dead, but apparently they had just enough strength to come up behind Caretaker and slit their throat
Whumpee has been rescued from their hell, picked up by a kind stranger who's none to happy to hear about Whumper's antics, but don't worry, Whumpee will never have to experience that kind of torment again...because what their new captor has in store for them is much, much worse than the child's play that had been described
Whumpee is dragged away kicking and screaming from their beloved Caretaker, begging for Whumper to show them mercy and that they don't deserve such cruel treatment, promising to be good if they only let Caretaker go...but Whumpee, what are you talking about? Caretaker is the real Whumper, don't you remember? When they kidnapped you so long ago? What did they do to your mind?
Caretaker is just so relieved to have Whumpee back by their side again, their wounds carefully treated and cuddled up close, refusing to part from Caretaker ever again after being rescued...everything went according to Caretaker's plan, now that Whumpee's had a taste of what life would be like if they tried to leave, they'll never want to let Whumper go. I mean, Caretaker.

Whumper
Okay
Good
You better be sorry
I really don't care
Fuck off
Shut the hell up
You're gonna pay for this
Do it again, I dare you
Caretaker
I know
Why are you sorry?
I'm sorry too
No, I'm the one who should be saying sorry
It's okay
It's fine, it was an accident after all
You don't need to apologize
Don't apologize, it isn't your fault
It's fine, honestly
I forgive you
Apology accepted
Just don't do it again
Bad Caretaker
No you're not
You should be apologizing
*No response*
*A dirty look/glare*
I don't accept it
Shut up
Oh, you're gonna be sorry
Maybe you should apologize for everything else you've done

Prompts for when their lover stumbles home with serious injuries? A blend of taking care of them and that particular animal rage...
I love y’all for recommending Whump cuz I been lacking my Whump game recently
┌──*̥˚───❀*̥˚─┐
Whump List With An Angry Caretaker
When Whumpee tries to downplay the injuries but Caretaker notices how weak they've become. Their forehead sweating profusely, eyes barely open and breathing raggedly
Clenching down on the wound to stop the pain and asking Whumpee repeatedly what happened to no avail
"Lift up your shirt. Now." "Please... no, don't." "Now, Whumpee!"
Sobbing uncontrollably while reflexively apologizing when they see the seething anger in Caretaker's gaze. Whumpee is standing before them, bruised and shaken from the events.
Caretaker tries their hardest not to lose control but still ends up injuring Whumpee when they press down too hard while cleaning Whumpee's cuts, causing them to whimper and tear up again, begging for Caretaker to stop.
When Caretaker is cussing out loud and telling Whumpee, they better let them know who did this to them.
"Why don't you ever tell me these things, Whumpee? Don't you know there are people who care about you?" "I... I don't know what you want me to do." "I want you to stay put and listen to me for once!"
Caretaker kissing, crying and panicking at the scene. They're scrambling to make calls and look for the medkit all while trying to comfort Whumpee and tell them to hang on
"No, don't close your eyes, dear... please, look at me, please..."
Wincing at the same time with Whumpee when Caretaker tries sowing up wide gashes and removing glass/bullets/rocks etc...
Tightening Whumpee's bandages too hard out of frustration and then rereleasing them when they realize their anger has gotten a hold of them
Whumpee's eyes are distant and empty. They're speaking little and a lot quieter; their speech is slurred. And all Caretaker can think about is where the gapping wound on their body came from
Caretaker getting angry at themselves. They're throwing down books/tables/cups and screaming at the surrounding characters that they're taking matters into their own hands
When Caretaker catches Whumpee, just as they collapse into their arms from the door. Possibly shivering from the cold, wearing little clothes and covered with gashes and sores. Caretaker can just feel their heart drop and their blood boil
"Awake? Good. Now tell me whose Whumper?" "...what?" "Don't play stupid with me, all this headache and pain-- you kept screaming out somebody else's name, now whose Whumper?!"
Becoming demanding of other characters and trying to push the blame onto someone else to find the answers they're looking for
"What? What do you mean you could handle everything!? Do you see yourself Whumpee!!? This is ridiculous!"
Roughly pushing Whumpee back down on their bed and expecting them to stay put as they "finish some business"
Silent tension in the room as Whumpee lays still, their eyes landing on the way Caretaker aggressively fixes them medicine on the side
