Went to a Taylor party they did at a club around here and I was worried because you know, I adore her hits but I don't want to hear only her hits for 7 hours but the DJ (absolutely bless her heart) had a master's degree, no, a PhD even in Swiftology she KNEW her shit. She started the night off with closure and gold rush (closure!!! masterful move in my opinion) and went from less popular songs to all the ones everyone knows little by little. There were VAULT SONGS!!! It was so fun seeing the insane people (us) belt out every word to every song while others were just dancing confused like ??? until an hour and a half in the DJ got to Red and they were like !!!! "I know this one :)". We didn't get All Too Well, Shake It Off, You Belong With Me or Anti-Hero until like 3 am. It was incredible.

The only bad thing I can say is that the DJ didn't actually play Love Story just a remix of it (how the fuck are you not going to play Love Story?!?!? That's the fucking constitution!!! Have some respect!!!) and that towards the end she repeated a couple of songs with remixes 🙄 (she could have played YOYOK or Long Live but she did that instead... #cringe). But I kind of forgive her for that because at 5:30 am she suddenly drops Haunted and I was almost dead by that point but that was adrenaline injected right into my veins. They had to kick us out at 6 because a group of fans just demanded to keep the party going but they were closing.

This world only looked like a paradise. Gatekeeper Ulf had the annoying duty of making sure that only prepared people or the actual natives exited into the natural atmosphere.

Most of the tourists were there to see the sky whales, and some were disappointed that they looked more like jellyfish than the Terran titans of the oceans. Some were there to see one of the few Havenworlds that could kill. A very few were nerds who actually cared where hydrophillic fluff came from.

All the same, Spore Season on Sofflox was very beautiful.
