Since a lot of people seem to like my last Transformers EarthSpark posts, I figured I'd make more. 😀

**There might be spoilers in this post if you haven't watched this series yet** WATCH IT! IT'S SOOO GOOD!!!!!!!!

Now it's time to talk about Dot and Megatron's friendship.

Their friendship is the main reason why I gave this show a chance. When I saw the promo trailer for Transformers EarthSpark and saw the scene where Megatron makes his first appearance, I felt so bamboozled at first because he looks soooo bloody menacing and terrifying!!! He made sure to make his entrance powerful and command attention. Look at this! Look at his face!!!

At first I thought, "Ohhh shit! It's about to get serious!" And then boom! It turns into this

"You always knew how to make an entrance, Megs!"

When I heard that, I thought, "Hol up! Whatttttt???!" And then I knew at that exact moment that I absolutely HAD to watch this show and find out what's up with this.

I really like that Transformers EarthSpark has taken a new approach to Megatron and made him a good guy. It works so well in this adaptation!!! He still retained his badass warlord tendencies and he's still terrifying, but his friendship with Dot is so freaking wholesome!!!

SHE CALLS HIM MEGS!!!! I CAN'T!!! 😭😭😭 🥰🤩🥺

I love that the writers did their research and are aligned with the fandom and the nicknames it gave for popular characters. And I love that Dot and Megs' friendship is giving "Work friends that actually became friends in real life". You can just tell that they've been through hell and back together while fighting in the war and fighting alongside each other. They respect each other greatly and have a sort of impenetrable bond. I love how happy Megatron was when he saw Dot in the pilot episode. He could not hide the huge grin on his face and was so happy to be working with her again. And the same goes for Dot. She was happy to see her friend again. It's just so freaking adorable!

You can tell that their friendship is strong because in "Age of Evolution" when Dot and Megs get captured by Mandroid, Dot ignores Megs when he insists that she flees from the scene when they realized that they walked into a trap. She just keeps on blasting at the Arachnimechs and does not leave his side. When they're brought back to Mandroid's lair Dot tries to stop **shudders** the horrible, HORRIBLE torture being inflicted on Megatron by disconnecting a cable. She still does not leave his side and I just found that to be a really powerful moment. But when Dot is finally able to free Megs from his restraints, I just found that scene so satisfying. 😌

Overall, I absolutely LOVE the treatment of this badass duo and I hope to see more badass scenes of them fighting alongside each other.

also nepo baby dick is hiLArious considering that I have been thinking all day about how in a separate-universes world, everyone in Kate's world thinks he's a golddigger. The tabloids and gossip mags are so confused??? He's a stay at home boyfriend? He literally doesn't have a job. He basically doesn't even exist. Kate's always saying he's home visiting his family, or traveling. Is he a spy? Does he do crime? He didn't know who Captain America was, he's just a himbo. He absolutely could not be a spy. Dick LOVES this, I feel like. It's much funnier when people think that about him than when they think that about Kate (which is what happens when she goes to his universe)

There's a post from forever ago about someone who's supervisor called their partner "Boytoy" at work, like, exclusively. And the guy knew and was fine with it, but anyway he came in one day and the op went "Mr. Toy, I presume?" and he went "The very one." This is very much Dick and Kate. also somehow he meets Anthony Bourdain, and this is a Good Timeline where he's still alive and Dick winds up traveling with him for a few episodes? That would be a fun dichotomy

Kate turns her back for five seconds and Clint and Dick have gone undercover at a circus. Kate expected this from Clint, but Dick knows better. Which prompts Dick explaining that CLINT is the brains of the operation, not Dick, he's the beauty, and Clint getting mad because HE'S the beauty, and Kate just sighs. Clearly neither of you are the brains.

Dick loves that there are no expectations of him in Kate's universe. It's like a vacation. He gets to be a himbo here. There's absolutely a pic of them on insta that he captioned "this barbie is an Avenger. He's just ken" and he will not HEAR Kate's arguments about how technically by Barbie/Ken rules he is also a Barbie. Dick pouts and is like I AM KENOUGH.

All of this leads to a mostly funny conception the Avengers have of Dick. They know he's Nightwing, he doesn't really need a secret identity here, but they don't...get it. He's bouncy and casual because he's still watching Kate's teams, figuring out how best to support, and he doesn't want to step on Kate's toes by accidentally being Too In Charge. So there's this idea that he really IS a himbo until Kate gets injured or captured. If she gets injured on a mission he's on? Look. It clears things up right away. He will absolutely rip apart whatever faction or organization caused that to happen with his bare hands. And God for-fucking-bid he encounters the actual individual responsible for harming her. I'm not saying someone's getting kicked off of a roof but, someone is moving from the roof to the sidewalk in the most expedient way possible.

This is also funny because it makes very clear how different their preferred fighting styles are, because Kate picked A VERY DEFENSIBLE POSITION, please stop worrying, Dick. And she's right! It is! IF YOUR PREFERRED WEAPON IS RANGED.

Now Dick is standing over his mostly unconscious girlfriend who looks like her face got scraped against the ground (because it did), preparing to defend them from all sides. fucking snipers.

It also leads to a fun moment where Kate can't lead. Eli isn't there, so normally command of the team would slide into Cap's purview (if cap and whoever his second is are down, Avengers command would slide over to Kate) so Cap is getting ready to start giving the YA some orders and Dick, not even THINKING about it, just kind of assumes command of the young Avengers and NONE OF THEM QUESTION IT???? He doesn't lead like Kate. He doesn't give orders like Kate, he doesn't even sound like Kate, with cadence or whatever. But there's something that is just kate like enough that her team is like yep this is correct. (The same thing will happen in reverse with the titans) After that the Avengers stop roasting him behind Kate's back.

Also, THE HIP HOLES. look. We need to admit that Kate, canonically, does not have great taste in her avengering uniform. Why did she choose this look? why is she so attached to it?

Like if Kate has the audacity to genuinely criticize discowing?? If for some reason she's wearing a different costume or they got tossed into Gotham in their civvies, her team will absolutely throw her under the bus in order to get brownie points with the batkids.

You can't talk about the deep vee when you had YOUR ENTIRE ABDOMEN OUT BABE. Nothing! Not even a tissue! The body confidence is great Kate but seriously how did you not die. (he's into the scarf, though)

And if Kate actually wears the hip holes? Dick is poking at her trying to figure out if they're actually holes? Is there mesh there? Is it flesh toned fabric? No?? It's actually holes? Sorry it took me long to answer this! Life has been kinda busy lately. I've been preparing for uni and I'm in the process of applying to some now.

Just... look at this art style, it literally always takes my breath away ITS BEAUTIFUL. So expressive and unique, I love it sm. They also have an encanto fanfiction too, it's set a few years in the future and is Mirabel x oc, I would never usually look for those stories on my own, since I'm not really into non canonical ships, but the art they made for it intrigued me and although I haven't read it in a while, from what I did read it was amazing. Really well written and descriptive!

He dragged Yuki with him obviously. The fighter was right before Austin and they were casually close.

Let's say you weren't the favourite one. All bets were on the other fighter who had won many titles and was super talented and an icon.

You were nervous as hell because you had reached this point on your second year fighting the big ones (I know nothing about UFC)

"Hey love" He cupped your cheeks. "I love you so much and no matter how this ends, I'm gonna be proud of you anyway" it made you smile and press your foreheads. It was huge for you to have him here. "Go and kick her ass"

Pierre was so nervous during the fight. He and Yuki were sitting on first row but people didn't knew they were there as boyfriend and boyfriend's friend who was dragged there so boyfriend wouldn't be alone. Yuki actually adored you and was so excited when he met you.

The fight was hard, at some point you were on the verge of loosing. Pierre was on the edge of the seat the whole time. But somehow you got up, shook your head and made a fantastic turn. The gasps and susprise exclamations were heard everywhere. From that point, you dominated the other fighter and end up winning in an awesome way. Pierre was there celebrating you as the proud boyfriend he was.

After the fight and ceremony and everything, him and Yuki waited for you on the corridors that took to your changing room. You literally jumped on him when you saw him. You were both laughing and extremely happy, he couldn't stop telling you how proud he was and how much he loved you.

You left the place together in the car, paparazzi took thousands of photos about the newly discovered couple and their third wheel Yuki.

And when you were finally at home after celebrations and you were sleeping peafully on his chest, Pierre made a post.

🖌️- Do you have/want any tattoos?

I dont have any, but I love the idea of tattoos and i get sick of seeing and feeling things being on my body really easily (like watches or like temp tattoos) so idk if its the best idea for me? I would probably only get something very abstract or something i really love.

Attached are the marble tattoos i would get on my arms and legs! Like i imagine black or gold marble along my shoulder and down, cutting off where there woukd be patchwork tattoos (like a mix of spencer agnews and anthony padillas)

I also know that once i get top surgery i want to put like, something cool on the new free real estate on my chest once it heals - like a cool feral dog or like stitches or something cool. I remember there was a self-love influencer and she had two tigers on her belly, and i loved the idea of that and to appreciate my stomach more.

. I also love the idea of having angel wing tattoos cause i used to always imagine having angel wings and wrapping them around me when i was scared or needed comfort. So they would represent that comfort. I also imagined them like, dragging on the ground behind me sometimes, like my wings were too big for my body. I imagined them as like gold and red and w like splashes of bright colours.

🍂-whats your favorite season?

Fall always! I love the season i was born in (i heard thats usually a proven thought) and even tho its moving into dead winter, it feels like new beginnings and a clean, fresh start because school used to start for me around then and its my bday in fall too so its like new school supplies? Presents? Money?? Amazing. This will surely change my life for the better! And all of this ruin and pain will fall behind me cuz i have new clean fresh pens and a new journal and a new schedule i know ill just drop after a month ! (Digital planners saved me sm omg)

But i also love every season and the poetry and meanings and atmospheres they bring. I always get so sad in the winter, but that sadness and pain being surrounded by so much joy and brightness and christmas lights and a hazy glow makes a good contrast for poetry and your own depression so 🤷 spring is new beginnings. The contrast between winter and spring and meaning new life and the dead rotting and turning into something that helps the fertilizer grow is such a strong concept for me. Summer being so hazy in the heat with heat lines coming off of the sidewalk, your ice cream melting onto the hot pavement, making it sizzle. The sadness that summer can bring too. The heat and fun and sun that everyone seems to be having while youre stuck inside or watching them through a haze of your own, you want to break the glass between you and the others but its just too thick, so you just slam on the glass, yelling, hoping that someone, anyone can hear you on the other side.

Back to fall - Now my bday just makes me sad 😔 whats funny is that it usually still feels like summer when its my bday, so its like im still in that hazy summer, preparing for the winter and dead leaves on the ground that are pronised every year.

Percy Jackson Disney+

So, again with most of my posts (bar my last one, wow) I know this won’t get much attention but there is something I want to discuss about the upcoming Percy Jackson series.

Gabe Ugliano.

If you aren’t aware, the Percy Jackson Disney+ adaptation has just released its teaser trailer at the D23 expo. I, along with basically everyone in the fandom, am losing my mind. I am so excited for such a big part of my childhood to be released to a whole new generation played by a new generation!

Everyone has something they really hope to see in this new series. Wether it be Logan Lerman as Poseidon (as cool as that would be I don’t think it will happen) or a well done lotus casino scene, everyone has their own hopes for this show. So of course I do as well.

My biggest hope for this series is that they don’t play down the abuse like they did in the movies.

I know this might seem weird. Who wants to see domestic abuse in a childrens show? It’s not pretty. But that is exactly why I want to see it.

Child/domestic abuse is a real and prevalent problem that thousands of people deal with, and by playing down the role it has on its victims story tellers are robbing real life victims of seeing it be overcome.

Percy Jackson is not a story of abuse. It’s a really badass YA story about a kid who’s half god and becomes a hero to save the world. But that does not diminish the fact that he is an abuse victim. And both him and his mother struggled with that. And they both overcame it. To take that away is not only taking such a big achievement and major part of his overall character but it’s taking away from the opportunity of children all over world who live in similar circumstances, who are abused themselves, have to watch a parent suffer or even both, to see that this is something that can be overcome. That they are not alone. That someone as cool and amazing a Percy has gone through that with them.

The inspiration that would give, the small feeling of company in such a lonely situation, would help thousands. So yeah, I want them to acknowledge Gabe Ugliano and how terrible he was. I don’t want this brushed of. It’s not fair to Percy and it’s not fair to the people out there who need that sort of representation in their lives.

ooo for the wip thing: the witch & the knight~

so did do a brief (liar) explanation about the wip in this post. it's a long list of short (another lie) descriptions of what my 10 wips are. this wip was listed #4

anyway, about this wip:

[edit: just gonna put my thoughts under the cut to not take up any space]

to summarize, the wip is an alternate medieval fantasy in France (because there's a lot of sources and research i can pull from medieval France also, their outfits and art were cool as shit). i'm planning on this to be a series just because the actual plot takes over the span of 10 years (bc war is long and i have relationships to build and break in that span of time).

in the story, we follow 4 characters who each represent a main theme that will be very prevalent in the wip (though there are many other themes that they'll be sharing as well). we have Tiffany (full name is Theophania), a witch from a small village who owns an apothecary shop and specializes in potions and defensive spells. Adina, Tiffany's little sister, who's also a witch who also specializes in potions but is more into magic associated with plant manipulation. then you have Sir Nathaniel (can go by Nathan or Nate) who is a knight with angelic patronage and has the "most sanctimonious stick up his ass" (Tiffany's words) when we first meet him, but is a cinnamon roll. and finallly, we have Xion, a Grim Reaper and is the leader of the of heroes' side of the war. despite being a physical embodiment of Death and it being their personal job to collect souls of the dead, Xion is fond of humanity and would rather humans live a full life for her to collect rather than have it be taken on such short notice.

ok, so bare with me, i know i have the wip listed as a "historical fantasy" but there will be a lot of creative liberties taken in this story (ya know, being that this is a fantasy first and history tour 2nd). it's historical mostly for worldbuilding purposes, which is why this wip is super research heavy T^T (the things i do for what i love)

however! i'm also using this wip for a project in one of my classes, so i now have this easy excuse to use for myself in order conduct research and flesh out this story more.

tbh a huge inspiration for this wip was when i was taking a european history class and we got into talking about high medieval France and i was just pulled in. also, Eleanor of Aquitaine, and all the books i read on her were a huge inspiration into crafting this world. tbh, i came up with this idea while researching for another mini-self project for international women's day in 2021 bc insta was being finicky and was blocking my post celebrating march 8th (i got very pissed that day lol). anyway, i as reading about badass medieval queens and then my brain went "i wish there was more medieval fantasies about badass women" so there.

another thing, here's a little snippet of the wip and what i've written so far (it's not a lot really lol, just a couple scenes in total):

She explored the empty chapel some more and found nothing to satisfy any of her questions. Not even the choir loft above held anything of importance. The chapel was a bust it seems. Figures. What a curious human. Tiffany tensed and looked around her, finding no one. She peered over the edge of the loft’s balcony and found the bottom empty like before.  Don’t be wary, dear human. Tiffany grew very wary.

Omg. Amanda ruined her own reputation with a single post she would've never made had she not gotten out with Louise that night. Amanda had it all: many AM fans discovered her through Matt and spread the word. Her music so-so but her voice grat. She was getting attention she never had. Everyone liked her, not a single bad comment on her Instagram. Everyone swooned when she posted Amelia. One night out with Louise and one immature, likely drunken post, most likely a result of Louise's manipulative ways - and everything is upside-down. I bet she didn't expect how deep the digging would go and how bad the scrutiny would be. Badass wannabe now seen as a trashy immature excessive-daughter-exposing girlfriend who is or was a racist too. Instead of being a liked girlfriend and having a solid fanbase by now, she had to go off Instagram. Badass, right. That's what happens when you trust a fraud. Why Matt deactivated his Insta is beyond me. It just makes Amanda look worse: a b.tch who turned Matt against his fans.

not all of this is wrong but just a slightly less gen-Z perspective: it’s taking it very personally to see Matt deactivating as a snub to fans. He posts pics of his kid, his girlfriend and his photography hobby like any other 30something dad. That’s not part of his professional image. So why not go private?
