crucial muse development questions
11. for what would your character give their life?
“it seems a bad idea for me to give my life,” he tells the other man as he merely continues performing the check-up of bade’s leg. it’s not been given the proper resting time to heal, but then he didn’t expect bade to listen to his advice to begin with, so this doesn’t surprise him as much. and with the whole mess on the space station; honestly he doesn’t expect anyone’s old injuries to have improved as much as they should have. “if i’m gone, who will save all these crew member’s asses?” he thinks of the many people he’s had in his medbay since their escape off the space station, thinks of the amount of blood spilled, and he can’t help but feel the bone-deep weariness that is dragging him down. still, he doesn’t let any part of it show on his features or in his stance, ever the solid rock of a doctor, unaffected by everything around him and the horrors of the lifestyle they live.
12. what are your character’s major flaws?
he lifts his eyebrows lightly as he’s applying another good layer of salve to the slowly healing injury. “major flaws, bade?” he questions, like he can’t hardly believe this is being asked of him, like he thinks perhaps he heard the man wrong. then he huffs out a little sound of amusement, but it’s bitter and sarcastic all in one. “i’d say it was obviously the fact that i can’t see. it seems to be the biggest stumbling point for anyone getting to know me.”
13. what does your character pretend or try to care about?
he finishes up wrapping the bandage around the leg again, tucking the end of it underneath what has already been wrapped and then straightening up slowly. he flashes bade a smile, something so fake and yet somehow also holding some actual amusement before he says “this conversation” and then basically just waves the man off as he turns around to go wash his hands again.
