finishin’ up fall 2019 anime

ahahaha it’s almost here. new year. new anime.

let’s look at some of the best and worst from this season. well, everything i watched actually....

dr stone: if anything deserves 10/10 it’s this bitch. my inner chemistry slut has risen from the grave. this is my lifeblood. it is so good. nearing ep 17 i started reading the manga because i NEEDED more. and i haven’t read manga in like three years. i cried then at that bitchass byakuya, and dr stone’s last ep made me cry again. i’m talking more tears than the Niagara falls........ and then cried again when the second season was announced. like. if there wasn’t one i might have just gone up in flames then and there

bnha 4: i feel it’s a little more lacking then s2 or s3, maybe in action or smth but idek. i like the bit more insight and development the world is getting. also i love eri, and fat is hot (when he aint fat), also that over..load? guy is hella bae. also nighteye is actually rly cool and pls dont kill all might thats rude. also why the sudden interest in red riot like tbh i don’t rly care bout him. i want kirishima or todoroki or w/e bc they’re hot and redboy isn’t sorry. his powers suck anyhow

sao alicization 2: i think it started out better than the first season did. i needed these flashes into reality that helps show more realism, rather than just ‘ooh haha fantasy sword magic stuff’. which honestly took away from what should be a fairly severe situation. yknow. so far animation’s been steady, tho the new op is meh compared to the last ones. im not a huuge alice stan but the alice vs asuna vs the other girls is not fun, i mean it’s all asuna’s fault she could be like ‘ya i married him, dumb fucks back off’ and that’d be that but nooo it’s her fault. isn’t she dating kirito? and just letting these strange girls do this stuff to him? bruh

enen no shouboutai: very good. also 10/10. though not as 10 as dr stone. maybe more like 9/10. animation kinda decreased in quality a lil. understandably hah. warming up to the new op, i like the bit where shinra/arthur kinda fighting w each other their friendship is goals. i like all the powers. also shou is a baby boy

shinchou yuusha: the last ep twist got me fucked up. no spoilers tho. i loved all the characters, ristarte was awesome, her expressions killed me sometimes like same girl same. yuusha-san was a little bland but that might’ve been on purpose lmao now that i think of it (last minute thought: ristarte sounds oddly like... restart, don’t it? ;)))))

shokugeki no souma 4: another epic season kakakakaka. they always end on a cliffhanger and i’m like FUCk the episode’s over already when did that happen>???????>?>?> we STAN souma x erina guys. her father is an absolute DICK. and i am so glad she fuckin showed him. you go erina. get that character development.

assassins’ pride: love me them character designs. and that op is to die for. i got the last ep to watch still. i’ve definitely warmed up to melida. and that navy-hair girl with the weird name is a goddess lmao we STAN a QUEEN. oh ya her name’s mule. dear author what made you choose that

choyoyu: i feel like a lot of the seven were glazed over, just kinda ‘oh aoi can chop stuff, merchant-san is .... a merchant that one time.... keine can heal people ..... and makes medecin worse than dr stone (btw i screamed at that like BRUH YOU FUCKIN COPIED OFF SENKU’S TEST WTF) tsukasa is way boring, akatsuki is meh and does not provide any explanation for how he pull off that magic shit without modern tech shit. ringo is cute and i want more of her actually showing why she’s smart and like... explaining it rather just ‘o she invents stuff yay’. shinobu needs to be the main-er character bc i love her god

your parents had suddenly announced that the family would be going on a camping trip with some family friends

apparently they were best friends with your parents in college and they would go on double dates together but then when they graduated, they lived lives separately as your parents had moved to america to pursue a new life and only to have moved back to seoul after a few years in america

you couldn’t comprehend how ridiculous this situation was

why would your parents make their only daughter go camping with strangers

“no y/n, we told you, everything’s settled and the Baes are bringing all the tents and have prepared everything” said your dad

“how can we say no when they paid for and prepared everything” added your mum

“well you can just say i got sick”

“no, we don’t lie” replied your mum, “plus they’ve got 3 kids, and the eldest son is your age. i met him and he’s very polite and handsome”

just as you were staring at him, the guy looked up and made eye contact with you

you quickly flung back in your seat and huddled down hoping that the guy hadn’t seen you and that the inside of the car was dark so he hopefully wouldn’t be able to see

you were probably derping while your face was plastered lmao

you parents parked the car and you guys got out all your luggage which was really just 3 buffer bags

just as your parents had locked the car, a couple around your parents age approached them

smiles all around and hugs while you stood there awkwardly holding a smile waiting for them to acknowledge you

after a good 5 minutes of the reunion they finally talked to you

“y/n, it’s so nice to meet you, you look just like your father,” said the man

“haha thanks, nice to meet you sir, i’m not sure how i feel looking like my father,” you joked casually

your parents and the couple laughed at you

“i like y/n, she’s witty and beautiful,” says the woman, “i’m sure she’ll get along with our kids especially jinyoung since they’re the same age”

they started heading towards the camping ground area while you followed behind giving them space to catch up after 20 years

you guys walked for a while before reaching a corner where 3 tents were set up

and then you realised

the girl looked really young and bubbly as she skipped out and greeted your parents

“hello y/n unnie, i’m sejeong, nice to meet you!” said the girl, sejeong, who was only about 7 years old

the other boy (not the one you checked out) was also really handsome and bright

he greeted your parents and introduced himself to you as daehwi and you learnt that he had a chill and friendly personality

you slowly turned towards the eldest son who was greeting your parents, he had a small smile and didn’t talk much

when he turned to you, he simply nodded with no expression on his face

you thought he looked scary and intimidating, sure he was handsome but it was an intimidating kind of handsome

you could feel your cheeks getting slightly warm so before anyone could notice the red of you cheeks

you quickly headed into the tent that you were allocated to which you had to share with sejeong

sejeong followed you in wanting to help you unpack which you lowkey didn’t want lol

luckily daehwi was a sweetheart and was like ”sejeong let’s give y/n some time to settle and unpack. meanwhile, let’s go and play speed!”

you had time to cool down and time for yourself

but little did you know your parents and jinyoung parents were playing matchmaker already

“our jinyoung is really shy around girls and y/n is so nice and outgoing we need to make them interact” said jinyoungs mum

“yes, i think they would look cute together,” giggled your mum

the other adults nodded in agreement

“we should make them cook dinner together,” suggested jinyoung’s dad

“yeah, y/n is great at cooking plus your son is so handsome, i’m certain i saw y/n blush” said your mum

they decided to call their children over and you come out in more comfortable clothing

jinyoung also arrived and omg he had just had a shower as his hair was still dripping wet and he had a towel around his neck

“y/n and jinyoung, you guys will be cooking tonight as the adults have had a long day, you two can get to know each other while you guys can cook !!!! ;)” said your mum happily

you two look at each other and you feel yourself getting slightly nervous

you two headed towards the bbq area where there was a table with all the ingredients

there was salad as well as meat to be grilled and other small snacks and ingredients for fried rice

“do you know how to cook” you asked jinyoung

he shook his head while rubbing the back of his neck as he looked down slightly embarrassed which you found cute omg

“hmm how about you can wash the leaves for the salad and chop the ingredients for the fried rice and i’ll grill the meat and cook the fried rice” you suggested

jinyoung nodded in reply without saying a word

you sighed, why was he so quiet??? you honestly hated silences and preferred to be in conversation

you made several more attempts to engage in conversation with the quiet boy but there was no reply and you didn’t even know what his voice sounded like

he just nodded or shook his head

you gave up and and for the next 10 minutes the both of you worked in silence side by side

“hey y/n, where should i put the bbq pork?”

you were so shook that he spoke as it was really unexpected as you had been daydreaming that you dropped the tongs you were holding resulting in you burning yourself idk how but for the plot lets go with it lmao

“omg are you ok y/n? i’m so sorry” says jinyoung in a panicked voice as he grabbed your hand and turned off the bbq thing

he examined it and you were shook not even from the pain but by the fact that he had spoke and his voice was so nice??? and he was like worried??? for you?????

all of a sudden, he grabbed your hand and dragged you towards the sink

he turned on the tap and gently pushed your hand under the cold running water

you noticed he was still holding onto your hand and you felt yourself smiling in embarrassment

jinyoung was focused on staring at your hand

“um jinyoung it’s okay i can do it myself!”

“no just stay still please”

so you stay still and you can’t help but to admire how caring and attentive and gentle he was despite giving off cold vibes at first

this went on for a few minutes

you staring at him in admiration and smiling to yourself and jinyoung staring down at your hand

little did you know he was super nervous thats why he couldn’t look anywhere else besides your hand

when he turned off the tap, he looked up and caught you staring at him

“why do you keep looking at me?” asked jinyoung

“uhhhh well i was wondering why you were so quiet at first?”

“well, do you really want to know?”

“ofc”

“then lean in closer” gestured jinyoung

you suspiciously leaned in closer as he smiled at you

“its a secret”

I'm not sure if I've reviewed this before, but I don't think I have. Let's begin.

I was asked to delete the art by the artist, so I have. It was very well done, though.

This is off to a rocky start...

I’m curious about the issue with putting the ideas down on the profile, but I’m not here to nitpick.

Don't describe your OC as a 'bae' or I will kill you violently.

ok so when she was younger she found out that she could talk to the dead,

Okay, no. We haven't seen any ghosts in Fairy Tail other than Mavis, but she's only there because of her residual magic and the guild seal that acts as an extension. This is not Supernatural, contrary to the gif I just used.

and it completely paranoid her and her parents.

That's kind of mild....?

Her parents where completely religion based and basically thought she was the spawn of satan or something

The only church I can think of in Fairy Tail is the Church of Zentopia, and that was a filler arc. So please explain why her parents are Fairy Tail puritans.

and sent her off to a mental hospital that completely isolated her from others besides her ghosts

And they didn't just say 'Oh, that's your magic'? No, they just jumped to "SATAN!"

and thats really not something a little girl should have to deal with sOOOO she made friends with one specific ghost who actually turned out to be her mentor in magic.

That's... convenient.

She taught her that the reason she hears all the ghosts and voices is because of the eye she was born with is basically the sorce of most her magical energy so she started covering it up and her everlasting headache went away.

...No. Just no. That is not a thing. WHEN DID THE HEADACHE THING COME IN? Body parts are never magic in Fairy Tail, other than Erza's artificial eye.

She was also taught that if she wore sage it would ward off bad spirits, so she put some sage in a small vile and put that on necklace and put the necklace around her neck and she wears it to this day uwu.

THIS IS NOT SUPERNATURAL.

she still could talk to ghosts and stuff though.

Oh yes, all benefits and no cons. She can still use her magic usually even though she covered up her eye?

Her mentor ( her name is darcy) taught her all the basics of magic and such as she lived in her little cell.

This is too dark for Fairy Tail.

Darcy though specialized in shadow magic, so she passed it on to zila (along with some knowlege on spells that let you use ghosts as your allies and stuff).

This is not okay.

once zila had been taught all she could darcy taught her how escape and about a guild called fairy tail she could go to for help

Why wasn't she like 'Go to a soup kitchen' or a homeless shelter, but nooo, let's go to a MAGIC GUILD.

Also, Darcy is a ghost. Of course she's an expert at escaping. She can WALK THROUGH WALLS.

Zila made it out succsesfully after 3 years of being isolated ( and thus began her fear of being alone uwu)

i don't think she'd be able to function properly in society after being isolated for three freaking years.

once she made it to the guild she was let in and made friends quickly ( which really suprised her because she haddnt interacted with real people in like forever eheh)

Like I said, she wouldn't be able to function properly. She'd be quiet and reserved.

This is so improbable I CANNOT EVEN.

She is a CHILD WHO WAS IN ASYLUM FOR THREE YEARS WITH NOBODY BUT GHOSTS. ERZA WAS TRAUMATIZED WHEN SHE JOINED THE GUILD AFTER THE TOWER OF HEAVEN DEBACLE. SHE HAD TROUBLE MAKING FRIENDS. SHE TOOK A VERY LONG TIME TO ADJUST. THAT'S JUST BEING HUMAN. THIS GIRL IS DEFYING LOGIC. BEING ALONE FOR SO LONG WOULD HAVE A SUBSTANTIAL IMPACT ON HER PSYCHE.

and was usually the peace maker between gray and natsu bUT ITS ONLY BECUASE SHE LOVES THem,

She literally just stole Erza's job.

once erza came she was always trying to talk to her and make sure she wasnt sad because she felt sorry for her and knew that if she was going to be alone that it would be sad

It feels like this OC is ripping of Erza's struggle.

anddddddd yeAH THATS A WHOLE NOTHER STORY BUT THEYRE BASICALLY BEST BUDS KINDA ANd they go on jobs together a lot ( like i imagine her being with erza when they came into the story line )

If she's S Class, I will scream.

Shes pretty caring and forgiving unless you break a promise or betray the guild or somethin, but shes not overly forgiving of people who used to be bad and are now good unless shes had time to understand them and stuff idk. ALSO PLS DONT TrY TO HURT JUST HER FRIENDS IN FRONT OF HER BECAUSE SHES GOING TO tRY AND KILL U NO MERCy.

ALSO she’ll straight up be like “I love you” if she loves you bUT JUST AS A FRIEND OK if she loves u romantically shes gonna hide it a bunch or iF SHE FInds out that you like her shes gonna blush all the time around you

and because she has no trust in the enemy to not hurt her after shes won.

Zila also has a little ghost friend named Boo ( it’s cliche but idec) who wears a bow with a spell that let’s other people see her on it.

Is Boo more powerful than Mavis now? Because Mavis's residual energy let the members of the guild with a mark see her, but that was the only reason. Nobody else could. But apparently, Boo is so powerful everyone can see her.

Boo would have to be god-like in terms of power.

I call nonsense on that.

Boo is only with Zila when theyre ina care-free environment but Boo can’t talk and can only use facial expressions. Boo is bae too
