P.s. this is based off my current experience with being sick, and I just wanted to write about it with one of my comfort idols. S.coups, but mainly all of svt, and a few more kpop groups and idols have been keeping me out of a dark place since I've been diagnosed with my chronic histoplasmosis disease in my left lung.

As you lay in your hospital bed, weak and vulnerable after the lung surgery, S.Coups never left your side. He held your hand tightly, providing comfort through his mere presence when he could be there.

"Hey babe, how are you feeling?" S.coups said as he gently brush your wild hair out of the way. You smile softly, yet full of pain that can be seen. "Ugh... I'm in pain but having you here makes it bearable."

S.Coups pout slightly as he puts your hair in a silk bonnet that look brand new. "I'm not going anywhere; I'll be right here with you until you're back on your feet."

Throughout your time together at the hospital, S.Coups took on various roles - caregiver, cheerleader, and confidant. He made sure you, his darling Y/n followed all medical instructions while also showering you with love and affection.

"Ya, Y/n don't forget to take your medication on time; it will help speed up your recovery." He says in a soft tone as he breaks your pill in half so it'll be easier for you to swallow.

You roll your eyes at him with a cheesy grin on your face. "I hate taking pills... but if it means getting better sooner so we can go on that vacation we planned... I maybe can make an exception."

"Exactly! We have so many adventures waiting for us once you're fully recovered... plus I owe you front row seats to our concert that's coming to town soon, and the boys really want to see you." He stated as he sat one the recliner that was in your room.

Slowly as the weeks progressed with you getting better the conversations were filled with laughter, and light banter as you reminisced about past memories; plus shared dreams for the future. You loved how he found a way to take time off... to fly to the hospital that you had surgery at during his busy schedule all for you.

One evening while watching Twenty-five, Twenty-one together; your eyes filled with tears as you thought about the uncertainty of her condition.

Pausing the show, you sit up with tears in your eyes. "What if something goes wrong, Seungcheol?" You asked as you look at the wires and medical machines you were hooked to.. trying to contain the tears that weren't fully out of your eyes. "What...what if it comes back but worse like the doctor said it would if they didn't... they didn't get it all out of me."

S.Coups quckily shushed you and pull you closer into his body as he laid in the hospital bed with you. "Hey, hey, hey darling..don't think like that. You're strong, and we'll get through this together. I love you... Y/n my sweet darling, and I made a promise to you when we made us official, baby. Thorough thick and thin, me and you til the end... princess."

You sighed as you look in his eyes for any tells of him lying to you, but giving in once he kisses the tip of your nose. "I love you too, and I thank you for all that you have done for me while being a busy man for yourself." You say as you try to catch your breath once again for the 3rd time that day.

He just shushed you once more in a caring yet loving way, and turned Twenty-five, Twenty-one back on. "Let's focus on Na Hee-do and Baek Yi-jin for now, yeah." He stated as he wiped your tears and kissed your left temple.

S.Coups' unwavering support and reassuring words provided you with the strength to face your fears head-on. As days turned into weeks, the growth of your health gradually improved, thanks to S.Coups' constant care and encouragement... even with his busy schedule as an idol.

Finally, the day arrived when you were discharged from the hospital. S.Coups couldn't hide his excitement as he helped you and your mom who was also taking rotation shifts with him pack your belongings.

S.Coups pushes you in the wheelchair to the car as he thinks about what he is planning to feed you when your mom isn't feeding you what she has cooked with love for you. "No more hospital food! We can finally enjoy your favorite homemade meals again."

You shook your head with a chuckle as you both reach the car. "And no more uncomfortable beds! I can't wait to sleep in my old yet still cozy bed." You state as you get in your moms freshly cleaned car to head to your childhood home to recover properly, and safely.

You and S.Coups knew that your love had triumphed over adversity, and so much more. The both of you were ready to face whatever challenges life threw your way, knowing that together the both of you could conquer anything, especially with the love, and care you had for each other.

One thing I need to say - It has happy ending.

You should rewatch it if you dont believe me, but first read it:

1. Mother Hee Do has Alzheimer.

Why? Because Minchea asked grandma which one is YiJin … rewatch it. Her expression was like „wait I need to think” and she had to point and think one by one. (I’m sure that from this moment she knows that he is her dad) And then she asked granddaughter “do you know him?”… and look at Minchea expression. My god. She was like “wtf why is grandma asking me if I know my dad? If grandma feels worst?“ and yes, we have confirmation, she is. Next scene when Hee do mom meets hee do and show her photo… hee do was happy looking at photo. Then her mother said something like “I meet him month ago” and Hee do expression changed. first I thought “oh she was surprised or something? I don’t know exactly” but later I rewatch it and I’m almost sure she couldn’t meet him month ago… he was abroad at work for sure, that’s why Hee do was worried, not surprised. Worried that her mom Alzheimer is going much more worst. That’s not everything - the worst thing and that makes sense is that Hee do has problems too. Maybe it’s hereditary disease in this point. They went to hospital to check if everything is ok. If mom still has long life. But at hospital Hee do said she want her to stay with her, and I think it’s not only stay as person but stay as mind (not forget her)

2. Yi-jin is Minchae dad

Yes he is. I mean, if not, we could stop watching at 14 episode 😅

Why?

As you know, in my theory Minchae knows Yi-Jin is her dad (from the day grandma said which one is he) I mean you know, his daughter is Kim Minchae. KIM not BAEK. But I saw on Korean YouTube that there was name like that on screen somewhere - I don’t know Korean so I can’t make sure. But I know he could change it because of work - that’s not a problem at all. I think we can’t just stop think about name because it’s so small problem, if they pretending to not get married that they could change name because of that wedding :P I mean I could.

Next thing - she doesn’t like to talk about private life. (Why? XD only we know)

Next thing and important one. When Hee do was said and cry on bed, his future daughter hug her. She said mom… and changed then “Hee do”. It’s important. Because if she said mom and then meet outside Yi-jin and doesn’t say “dad” it could be strange. That’s why she changed it to “Hee do” to not reveal yet that she knows he is her dad. She went to meet him outside and was soooo mad at her “dad”. He said something like “you can handle it” and his “daughter” was mad and said “no she doesn’t handle it” (I don’t know original English subtitles just change form polish language). This point is very important. She is mad not at Yi Jin (why would she? She has dad who is important to mom so why she cares about this man? Because she knows he is dad). Next thing, she watched in episode 14 movie from interview from 2009 year (2021-15 years= 2006 year Min born). She check out date and saw 2009 and she smiled 😜 yes, smiled. She knows she was there. She played it, watch it. And they looks like wtf - I mean if I would look at someone like that I would get divorce with my husband. It was so emotional. But not as they never saw themselves. No. It was like “we will see soon, we couldn’t so long” and then BIG WTF 😬 I head APPA(dad) child voice in interview. Between “ahh” and “yes”. For what? For nothing? 😅Yeah for sure.

And then we have ending - he forgot password. Wow. But wait. He doesnt use this e-mail - bij (baek yi jin) since 15 years. He has 15 years old daughter…

Wait what? I thought. Thats mean sińce 15 years… his login was… different. He isnt BIJ. He is for sure KIJ. Kim Yi jin. He changed name 15 years ago then. Thats why he didnt log in since then.

Yes he is her dad. They could live their life different way then we see „happy end” life. But thats not mean they are not together and not happy. Its their happy way to live. Without eyes.

At the end when Hee do is near tunnel she said something interesting 🤨 :

“I had thought love and friendship were mine to have for a bit of moment” and she smiled

I had thought.

Were mine.

She doesn’t say “love and friendship we’re mine to have for a bit of moment”. She said she had thought. But she doesn’t know. That smile says that she knows she can have love and friendship forever”.

Most of time of movie was like “depression vibe” nothing last forever etc. but at the end we see that she agree, that ok even if not everything is like you think it should, she has her own happiness - daughter and husband (yes Yi-jin which is most of time outside from home - but it doesn’t matter for her) She thought but not think. ♥️ it was past. And she was at tunnel to change her vision of conversation they had long ago. Because she never do that. He never probably started that conversation.

so I watched Hell is Other People (alternate title: Strangers from Hell). now from spoiler free gifs on tumblr and TWO edits I'd seen on twitter made me assume this was a drama with some petty crime where Lee Dong Wook is a bit quirky insane 🤪

I watched the show in two days. 5 eps each day and GOOD LORD LDW IS SCARY AF AND THERE IS SO MUCH CRIME 😭😭😭 LDW is what drew me to the show but I have to admit Im Siwan is fkn amazing as well. Lee Jung-eun is a (creepy) queen. The rest of the supporting cast is also great. Ugh this show has disturbed me so greatly but what I hate the most about it is how fkn hot LDW looked in all black in the final ep like pls leave my head. I need help. Fin.

My #1 post of 2022

ep 14 had so much. but i felt the most for baek yi jin and ko yu rim. yi jin is the oldest in the gang and even though the others are stepping into adulthood in their own ways, they do not fully understand just how harsh this world could be. baek yi jin had been warned by coach yang that this closeness with the subject could blow up in his face and while it was not hee do but yu rim, it turned out to be worse. this man's family had been a supporter of yu rim for ages but they could not continue due to their own misfortunes. yu rim's family continued to be nice to yi jin's family regardless of their stature. baek yi jin fully knows his duties as a reporter and he understands that him breaking the news would be kinder for yu rim (even though the younger ones do not get it yet). he becomes the bad guy in the story just so he could accurately present the story without sensationalizing it. yu rim gets it though. she understands when she calls him a reporter and asks him to go forth with the questions. but she does not explain this to the others. this is between her and yi jin, who have known each other through thick and thin. guilt-ridden (and due to the nature of his job), yi jin does not see her off at the airport. he finally breaks down at the end of the episode when he just cannot handle how much it hurts. if only he still had the means, he would've paid off all of yu rim's family debts, he knows that in his bones. but life is just so so cruel and we know they both deserve better but what can you do. that's what growing up is.

I feel like Euphoria s2 is just "Let's make beautiful shots and write some plot around them" and if that's what they wanted then good for them but I just want something relevant to happen in that hour long episode.

Like Kat, for example. Nothing has really happened with her character. She's spent 4 episodes saying or showing she doesn't want to date Ethan anymore but literally nothing happened with that plotline yet. Nothing happened with her in general. Like, we got that scene about her stressing out about no loving herself and then, nothing. And I'm sure they'll get to it at some point but the pacing this season is weird af.

In season 1 it felt like they wrote a good plot and then shot the scenes in a beautiful way, but this season it's the opposite. And I love artistic shots, but if you make me fall in love with these characters and then just decide that the important part about Euphoria is not them but how beautiful you can make the show look... yeah, I won't like that.

I don't know, I just hope the next episodes are more plot centered (even though I doubt it).

✶Extraordinary Attorney Woo

Genre: Legal drama, Romance

Woo Young-woo is a young genius lawyer, who is also autistic, which makes it hard for her to navigate her new job at the law firm Hanbada. She works hard to prove that she is as good a lawyer as any of the other new recruits, but with some people working against her, it won’t be easy.

✶A Love So Beautiful

Shin Sol-i has a massive crush on her classmate and neighbor Cha Heon, who in turn does not seem to return the feelings at all and only barely tolerates her presence. Murata Anzu’s happy life was broken apart when their house was burned down. Her mother took the blame, her father left the family and remarried. But Anzu knows that her mother didn’t do it, and she will do whatever it takes to prove her innocence.

✶Ready, Set, Love

Genre: Comedy, Romance, Mystery

I am loving you, Na Hee Do. I don’t need a rainbow.

After the endless screaming, crying, and giggling after Yi-jin’s beautiful confession of love and respect to Hee Do, I am so much inspired to write my thoughts about their relationship.

After hearing those words, I kept asking myself, what kind of love Yi-jin is saying? Then, I realized that I underestimated Yi-jin’s feelings for Hee Do. Throughout all these episodes, Yi-jin has kept a boundary with Hee Do making sure that it will not become romantic in nature, but it was all along love for him, and no better episode can express this than episode 9.

It doesn’t need to be romantic and physical in nature, it can just be about sharing happiness, providing comfort, supporting one another’s dreams, and caring for each other. At least this is what I felt about how Yi-jin is showing his love for Hee Do, especially in today’s episode. From smiling like his usual self because of Hee Do’s, “I have to have you” confession, to being vocal, serious, and sincere that he doesn’t want their relationship to fall apart just like that, how he kept emphasizing that she should trust him, to making sure that Hee Do wouldn’t be hurt and to being this mature rookie reporter who seamlessly says “no” to his superior because he wanted to be a good reporter because of Hee Do. Yes, dear 2521 fam, he sincerely loves her. When we thought that no one can top Hee Do’s confession of, “I have to have you”, Yi-jin did by straightforwardly answering Hee Do’s question that it is love for him.

May I also emphasize how he repeatedly said that Hee Do must trust him and how he wants Hee Do to answer him if she trusts him—because at first, I really thought it was just because he was being protective as an older “guy”. But it was just not it. He wants to be trusted by Hee Do because he wants her to learn that she inspires him to be better at his job and to be a better person in general.

When Hee Do’s mother said that he should keep his distance from Hee Do because he’s a sports reporter and when I saw how much Yi-jin really cares for Hee Do, I got worried a little bit because I thought it would harm them both, especially him. However, what surprise me was how he showed maturity in the best way possible. His affection and special relationship for Hee Do doesn’t harm him but leads him and inspires him to be better just as what he said to Hee Do in the confession scene. We also see this in episode 4 where he’s very vocal on how much Hee Do gives him hope.

So, yes, I love that kind of relationship built on a very healthy ground.

When Hee Do got hurt because of the reenactment of the simultaneous touch with Yu-rim, Yi-jin’s action proved that man is mature enough and his love for Hee Do will instead lead him to pursue better judgments. Like how athletes not just Hee Do could be injured and who would be responsible if that happens? My man is really smart, brave and very mature to against his senior. I mean, how can I not fall in love with him? I really hope for the best for these two.

So, when it has been love for Yi-jin? Can we really be better judgers at that? But since I love silly theories, I’m guessing that it was on the whole time they were apart and when he had a talk with his mother about that love that inspires each other to grow. Yi-jin already knew.

It’s hard for me to believe that Heedo went and got married to someone while looking at Yijin with such deep and intimate eyes. Heedo broke up with Cutie Pie solely because she kept thinking of Yijin while they were together. She knew it wasn’t fair for her to be thinking of another man while in a relationship with someone else. Its simply not in Heedo’s character to do that. It would be more believable to me if they somehow broke up and during that, Heedo stayed single because she kept her feelings towards Yijin.
