Story time

So I went on a school trip to California over spring break around last year and everything went really well. It was a lot of fun to go around California and just see a lot of what it had to offer, so it made me kind of sad when the week was coming to a close. I was exhausted on the bus ride to the airport so I just slept the majority of the 3 hours it took to get up to the airport. That was until our bus hit a parked car in a parking lot and jolted me awake. No one could find the owner of the car so we just sat there for about an hour until the owner finally came back. At his point we were really on a time crunch so I decided to stay awake and pack up all my blankets and such. We got to the airport after a short amount of time and we started going in groups to security. We were all pretty rushed at this point because we only had about 15 minutes until our plane was supposed to take off. I went through security fine and I was about to grab my bag when all of a sudden it stopped on the conveyer belt and turned into the security check station. I knew I had food in my bag but I had forgotten about it so I didn’t bring it up when I was over there (it was hidden well enough anyways). The security officer takes my bag and throws every item out onto the table one by one. At that point I’m like mentally screaming because it took forever to pack that bag and he is just throwing it all out. He finally got to the bottom of my bag where I had a little basket ball stress ball. He has the audacity to take the ball in his hands and look me dead in the eyes and say word for word,” ball is life.” e fuckin scuse me. At that point I’m at a loss for words so I just sat there glaring bullets at him and I think he got the hint. I packed my bag quickly and left for the gate. That’s about it, the rest of the flight went smoothly. That was long but I don’t know I think it’s kind of a funny story.
