Yeah, so this is gonna suck. That blue dot is Baguio, where we live. The huge multicolored mass about the size of our entire island of Luzon is the incoming supertyphoon. Supposed to hit us tomorrow, Sunday, November 1st. If I drop offline for a bit, this will be why. We’re in a stable concrete building in a relatively sheltered location, so we’ll likely be okay, but may lose power for a while–maybe a few days. Guess we’ll see what 145 mph winds do to the local infrastructure.
You wish you lived here. Here being Baguio, our little mountain city in Northern Luzon in the Philippines. ❤❤❤
Our neighborhood is kinda cool looking. Couldn’t stay outside much just now because we don’t feel like putting on mosquito repellelent; there’ve been two cases of dengue here recently, and thanks to the river tributary that flows through the property, the mosquitos are out in full force tonight. So especially with @thesurestthing being pregnant, we’re not taking any chances.

Sunset from SM City in Baguio. Missed the most colorful part, but still pretty.
Home at last, and ready to collapse. But there’s work to be done, so collapsing will have to wait.
Last year, we went to Baguio City together with my cousins, grandmother, aunt, and uncle. We stayed there for two days and one night. We were so happy because there were so many beautiful places that we visited. One of the places is the Burnham Park where we went for biking, boating, and rollerskating. At night we went to Baguio Night Market. We didn’t even buy anything because there are so many people buying and it so hard to pick. For our last day, we went to my favorite place and it’s the Baguio Botanical Garden. And before we go home we went to the strawberry farm. The strawberries are so sweet and delicious. On the strawberry farm, we also bought some souvenirs for my other family members.

⛩ RAMEN LAGI ⛩
🍜The noodles are good and the broth is rich and flavorful. perfect for rainy ⛈🌧 or cold weather. 🥶 Also, the staff is very friendly and well accomodating. Hoping to have a wider space in the future.
💸💸 The price of the ramen is just right since the bowl is not full. Tonkotsu Ramen is 190 pesos only.
🇵🇭 Location: Loakan Road Baguio City, Philippines 2600
Beautiful in every direction, even when the sky is gray. Early afternoon in Baguio (about 12 hours ago).
