attention!!!!
anime / manga / animanga fans who have not yet seen or read World Trigger. WATCH IT. READ IT. IT IS GOOD AND FUN.
Some highlights:
THE KIDS MAY BE SOLDIERS BUT THEY ARE SAFE. How??? You might ask. Go on and watch it to find out ;)
Wholesome x shonen x found family
MC is not overpowered and have humble beginnings, knows that, and finds a way to work with what he has.
NO BULLIES. The kids/agents here are nice & give constructive criticism rather than be rude to our not-so-physically-powerful MC.
As a seiyuu fan, the abundance of characters = more seiyuu appearances! Guess-the-seiyuu is fun to play!
First bullet point because after watching a ton of shonen with kids in the frontlines, it is refreshing and so so nice to see a story where they can fight AND BE SAFE during battle.
WE NEED THE NEXT ARCS TO BE ANIMATED T^T

Listen. My husband and I paid off all of our student debts the old fashioned way. When I heard younger people getting relief I could only think one thing:
Thank God someone noticed the huge negative impact debts have. It was one of the best things Biden did. And only fair considering PPP relief and bailout happened.
Going of your way to reverse what was *already settled* is spiteful. Especially when the PPP relief isn't even questioned.
SOCUTS is full of spite for ordinary people.
Originalist? Forget that! The most trendy new judicial theory is "Spite Theory" -- basically you can do whatever you want if it hurts people you don't like.
You don't even need a case or injured party.

Prompt #1050 - After being estranged from your family for years, you’ve ended up in jail with no one to bail you out. But not even two hours pass before someone comes to get you—someone you’ve never seen before with enough of a family resemblance for no one else to question who they are.

Bail Out
—————————————————————————————
Pairing: Darren x GN!Reader (they/them pronouns used)
Type: Fluff
Word Count: 1.29k
Proof Read: No
—————————————————————————————
The door behind you flew closed with a loud slam. You heard the turning of several keys, locking the large metal door from outside, making escape impossible. You let out a sound that was a mixture between a sigh and a groan as you buried your face in your hands. Great. You were stuck in jail with no way out and no one to bail you out.
Ever since the incident, you and your family have been quite distant from each other. Which was probably for the better since they never treated you right to begin with.
You decided to take a look at your surroundings. A small room with dull looking walls and a small, plain bed to the side. There was a tiny little window, too high up to reach, that was blocked off by metal bars. There was also a wooden door frame which you assumed led to a small bathroom. It took you a moment to realise that the door frame was missing its door. What happened? Did someone break it down at some point? You figured that since you had nothing better to do, you might as well just let that thought linger through your mind for a bit.
'*•.¸♡•·.·''·.·•♡¸.•*'
You stirred from your half-asleep state as you heard the loud, muffled jingling of keys from the opposite side of your cell door. The door swung open and there stood the police officer who had first locked you in there. He looked at your confused expression and gestured for you to come over to him.
The officer led you down a long corridor until you arrived at the entrance of the prison. No one had explained to you what was going on and you were 99% sure that this isn‘t a normal thing the cops do to prisoners. As you approached the glass door, you saw a figure standing there. When you finally came to a stop, you looked at the figure more closely. It was a man (and damn he was good-looking). But you didn‘t recognise him. Still, there was something about him that made you want to trust him.
“Here ya are, sir.”, the officer spoke as he uncuffed your hands. You rubbed your wrists as the weight of the metal was taken off you. “Cheers”, the unknown man replied. He turned to meet your gaze and you could swear that you saw a small smile creep up onto his face. “Sorry about my partner, they always get up to all sorts of mischief. I’ll make sure to talk to them.”, the man explained to the officer. Did he just call you… his partner?? You stared at him in disbelief and he gently nudged you. You recognised this as a signal to play along with his lie. You quickly stared at the ground, pretending to regret what you did. The officer chuckled. “Yeah, you better talk to ‘em. Can’t just go around stealin’ things like that”. And with that you walked out of the police station with your “boyfriend’s” arm around your shoulder.
You came to a halt and the man let go of your shoulder as he approached a car. You assumed it was his. “Who are you, exactly?”, you asked once you remembered that this guy was a total stranger to you. The man glanced at you, flashed you a quick smile and simply said “Darren.” It didn’t look like he was about to explain to you why he had bailed you out. “Need a lift?”, he offered, opening the passenger door. You considered it it for a moment. People always said not to get in a car with strangers. But was Darren really a stranger? To be fair he was the one to bail you out, and at this point you had nothing to live for anymore, so even if he did have bad intentions, it didn’t matter anyway. No one would even care.
You slowly nodded as you moved to take your place inside the vehicle. The door beside you slammed shut. As you were putting on your seatbelt, you saw Darren as he walked around the car to get to the driver’s side. He opened the door, got in and sent his door flying shut. Darren turned to look at you. “So. Where’re we headed?” You watched as his gaze met yours and you made eye contact. Something inside of you started to tingle with excitement and you had no idea why. Stop it! You only just met him, you scolded your internal dialogue. You broke free from his fixated gaze that seemed to bore into your eyes and see what was going through your mind as Darren let out a small chuckle and also diverted his gaze. He started the ignition as he slipped his car key into the slot near the steering wheel. “Where do you live?”, Darren asked you as he looked out of his window to check for any approaching cars. You eyed him in surprise. So he did have bad intentions after all! Darren felt you staring at him and he momentarily lifted his view away from the road to look at you. “I’m not about to kill yeh. I just wanna know where to drop yeh off, don’t worry.” A grin quickly crept onto his face which put you at ease and you let out a little giggle.
You had given Darren the address to your flat and you had been driving in silence for about five minutes. The entire time there was one question that refused to leave your mind. Why? Darren quickly picked up on your unrest as you began to fidget in your seat. “What’s up?”, he asked you. This took you by surprise. How well does this guy understand body language? You glanced at him momentarily before deciding it would be better to look onto the road ahead of you when asking your question. After a slight hesitation, you asked him: “Why did you bail me out? How did you know who I was?” You sensed a smirk sneak onto his face as he exited a roundabout. “What can I say. I have good intuition. That’s how I knew who yeh were.”, he answered. You weren’t convinced by his answer but you decided to play along. For now. “Alright, let’s say that was true, why did you do it?” You couldn’t help but smile a little. “Are yeh callin’ me a liar?”, Darren acted offended. “When did I call you a liar??”, you glared at him playfully. “With that tone of voice yeh definitely called me a liar.” “So what if I did call you a liar?”, you acted sassy. Darren glanced at you for a moment and replied: “Then I’d be very hurt.” At that point neither of you could keep it together anymore and you both just ended up cracking up with laughter. You realised that it’s been way too long since the last time you felt this happy. You wished that you could establish a long term friendship with Darren. Something inside you told you that you wanted to have Darren in your life. You didn’t know why, but that didn’t really matter.
The car pulled up into the parking space provided for the residents of the local flats. Darren turned off the ignition and turned to you. “So are ya gonna tell me the truth or are yeh going to continue with your horrible thread of lies?”, you smirked at him. “Wha- I’m tellin’ ya, I did it out of free will!”, he laughed. His gaze met yours that time. For a split second, you felt the whole world disappear, that it was only you and Darren. You wanted this feeling to last forever but you knew it couldn’t. You were brought back to reality when Darren let out a fake cough. Both of you had been staring into each other’s souls like idiots. “I should probably get you home”, Darren insisted, breaking eye contact. “Yeah”, you answered slowly as you realised that this would probably be the last time you ever get to see Darren. You noticed as he swiftly slipped a small piece of paper into your hand and quickly shifted to get out of the car. You unfolded the paper and on it was a set of numbers written. Underneath it you saw Darren’s signature. He gave you his number??! Wait… when did he write this? You wondered and looked outside to see Darren facing away from the car, lighting a cigarette. Your heart sang with joy and you couldn’t help but smile. Finally your life was starting to have some form of meaning again.

To "bail out" is a maritime term that means to remove water with a bucket from a flooded and sinking vessel, usually after an unpredictable storm or other event.

*Tony getting a call from the Iowa police station while Clint was in the Ton getting breakfast*
"Heeey. Good morning honey. I know I'm late. I'll explain later. But to keep it short for the moment, I got into a little fight and I need you to bail me out of jail."
Tony blinked and sat back in his chair. This was a new one. He had so many questions. How? Why? Did the cops know who he was? What the hell kind of fight would Clint have gotten into that the cops would have locked Hawkeye of the Avengers up and what the hell was bail set to?
He didn't ask any of them though. He just sighed and stood up. "Okay, honey. I'm on my way. The local one?"

Paddle Their Butts, A Loving Poem
Paddle Their Butts, A Loving Poem
I don’t recall how many years I wrote this, in 2008 maybe, but my muse was surely angry. Paddle Their Butts AIG lost wellover $100 million. AIG got $170 billion in bailouts. AIG gave its top execs $170 million in bonuses. Paddle their butts. America is outraged. We are losing our jobs. We are losing our homes. Paddle their butts. When things well well, they kept it all. When things went sout, we…

Obi-Wan: “Did you know that Anakin is still alive?”
Bail: “Skywalker? No way! There’s no way that Anakin Skywalker lived for twenty years without getting on at least half of the galaxy’s nerves or being the most dramatic man in the room or without fighting a ten-year-old or oh my heavens he’s Darth Vader, isn’t he?”

I think of first major failure as a society when it came to mainstream media is reality shows are not REAL, in ANY form of the word, but most fans 100% believe they are real. And watch them religiously*.
But those are he same fools who vote in politicians that have NEVER kept their word, bail out bankers who stole their life savings, and cheer on billionaires who will let them die for their own gains so...it appears they just-like-the-abuse.
Naive ignorant fucks.
*and how many shows about murderers and serial killers can you watch before you realize you are GLORIFYING THEM you, sick sons of bitches!?
