Bakugou x fem! reader, fluff, domestic, angsty,

The night was calm, the birds were asleep, the sun went to bed as the moon took over watching down on everyone. Here you and your boyfrind Katsuki sit underneath the stars as you take in the moment. Currently, you were both in a little feild watching the stars on a mid-week date to clear your minds from the busy hero world.

"Do you think it's lonely up there?" You ask quietly to Katsuki as you catch him out of his daydream, he looks down at you with a queryful look as he waits for you to continue. When he realises you too are immersed in the tranquility that that stars above hold, he asnwers

"In the sky?" He asks making himself sound so stupid, you laugh a little at his cute answer,

"Yes, the stars look so close yet so far apart" you ponder as you lay down on the soft grass. Katsuki follows your movements as he brings you close against him for warmth.

"The moon keeps them company surley" Katsuki takes part in your little brainstorm, he loves when you explore your childlike curiosity when it's just you and him, nobody to shame you for "silly questions"

"Hopefully, do you think the moon feels left out when people on wish on stars to fulfill their dreams?" Katsuki didn't expect you to have put so much thought into your little question, but he still finds it so cute how curious you can become with the simplist of things.

"Well, What's the moon good for? It only gives us light" katsuki wasn't sure what answer you were looking for, but by the way your eyebrows scrunched up and let out a tiny huff, he knew it was the wrong answer.

"We could wish for something" you say cuddling up to Katsuki since he naturally is warm. Katsuki lets out a little laugh at your cute antics, nonetheless he indulges into your childish antics.

"Waddya' wanna wish for?" He asks waiting for you to think of something.

You look up at the full moon, thinking of something to wish for, may it come true or not you will never know until it happends, so you want it to make it count.

"Happiness" you say calmly

"Happiness?" Katsuki asks back to you to make sure thats what you really want to wish for.

"Yes, everyone deserves happiness in their life" you say smiling into another hug against Katsuki's warm side, Katsuki give you a squeeze back.

"Sure thing, how do we wish to the moon?" He asks as he leans his head ontop of his arm resting underneath.

"We can close our eyes and wish in our heads" you say as Katsuki closes his eyes as he follows your instructions. As Katsuki closes his eyes tighly and wishes for happiness in his life, he wished for you to have happiness in your life. You deserve it more than anything.

"Daddy! Daddy! Look the moon is out! Can we say goodnight?" Katsuki's son says as he sees the moon shining brightly from his bedroom window. He always tried his luck at bedtime trying to push bedtime back by just a few minutes. But, Katsuki knew his son too well and he knew how much saying goodnight to the moon meant to him.

"Alright, alright, watcha' wanna tell mommy then hmm? Katsuki asks as he leans down to the young boys height as he thinks hard about what he wants to tell to mommy.

Whenever Hoshi, your son, seen the moon he was reminded of you. He had so many things in his everyday life to remind him of you, but this was something special to him. Since he was little, Hoshi was told to tell all his worries to you , the moon, because you'll have it sorted out so he won't have to worry anymore.

"So? Any idea's little man? Your bedtime was 5 minutes ago" Katsuki says reminding the young blond that he is staying up past his bedtime, which was rare with Katsuki.

"Do you think mommy gets lonely up there all by herself?" Hoshi asks worriedly at his dad, Katsuki knows how much Hoshi misses you, as does he, but for now he needs to put his emotions aside and asure his worried child.

"No, she has all the stars around her to chat to, don't worry bud" Katsuki assures Hoshi as he gives him a little hug and a squeeze.

"I want to wish something to mommy" Hoshi says, he wants to tell you everything about his day in private, instead he opted for a small wish to help him sleep better tonight, something that has been on this young boys mind for a while.

"Okay kid, what is it, tell mommy" Katsuki says in a gentle voice as he awaits Hoshi to tell you his wish.

"I want mommy to be happy" hoshi says with a big smile mirroring yours you once use to shine at Katsuki.

"Mommy is already happy, Hoshi, she has us" Katsuki says as he holds Hoshi a little tighter then before, he knows how hard your death was for him, so he wants him to know he's always there for him if he needs comfort.

"Is that why she's smiling at us?" Hoshi asks, by smiling he means shining, but to him and Katsuki, thats you smiling down on them.

"Of course bud, the biggest smile, she's happy"

Hiraeth : a homesickness to a home you can't return to

Bakugou x gn!reader, angst

The night was young. The winter frost gently coating the window of a young mans dorm who was up way past his bedtime. As he lays in his bed wrapped up warm and cosy, he fights off the sleep creaping over him like a second blanket. The crisp air in his room reminds him to shut his balcony door before he goes to sleep. Fresh air is healthy, but damn does cold air circulate quick. Katsuki steps out from his cosy warm bed to shut his sliding glass door beside his bed, adjusting the curtains to make sure no light will get in when the sunrises. The duvet covers now surrounding the ruby-eyed boy lulling him into the early stages of sleep.

As the time reads '9:26pm' the young blond continues to read the next chapter of the series he has been binging all weekend on his day off. It was hard for him to set his phone down during training, but he knew better then to get caught by his classmates in his little secret he is ashmed to admit. Scrolling for hours on end seeing if anything good happens in the next chapter.

You see, Katsuki Bakugou was like any normal teenager his age. He had hobbies and past times. But unlike others, he has a quiet the usual past time.

Katsuki likes to escape the harsh reality around him by submerging himself into your world. A fantasy world made up by some author who was able to make this young boy head-over-heals for you. Yes, you were a fictional person but you mean so much to this little hero in training, you helped him get up in the morning on the hardest and coldest days to go read the next chapter published by a fanfic writer on a popular fanfiction website. Katsuki's eyes would light up when you appeared in the lastest chapter of the series. He has some options about "how you need more scenes" and "your character needs it's own spin off". Katsuki knows his friends around him also read the little 'slice of life' series you appear in. But the difference is nobody cares for you like Katsuki does, nobody understands you like Katsuki does, and most importantly

Nobody loves you like Katsuki does.

Yes it was a silly crush, a fake crush if you will since your not real. But, did you make him happy? Absolutely. Did you keep him company? In his thoughts and dreams, yes. Katsuki knows what he does isn't healthy, and definitely is doing something to his mental health.

Relying on a fictional character to keep him happy?

How pathetic

Well, that's what he'd say to anyone else. Katsuki sometimes thinks about what he'd do if he never came across your series. What would he spend his time doing? Definitely not scroll endlessly on the Internet for decent fanfiction about you and you alone. Nobody else in the series really clicked with Katsuki. To him they really are just "backround characters" in your story.

As he shuts off his phone and plugging it into his charging cable, he places his phone on his night stand ready for the morning ahead of him. Unfortunately for Katsuki, he was never good at getting to sleep as soon as he shut his eyes. Wandering thoughts kept his mind occupied, anxiety keeping him up with silly worries. But the one thing on his mind as he tries to get even a wink of sleep before school in the morning, was what he'd do if you were real.

Katsuki liked to imagine little scenarios through the day and at night to keep his mind at ease. They started off simple, such as how you'd react in a certain hero situation or what your favoruite flavour of ice-cream is.

Over time they became more elaborate, some of Katsuki's favoruite "stories" to think about you is 'saving you from a villian attack' he's a hero in training surely saving his "crush" is a dream of his, right? Or how you'd respond to him asking you to marry him. Very far fetched, obviously, but to this boy it was simply a daydream,,

He wonders how you'd react to the Bakusquad being idiots..maybe he should keep wondering and not dwell too much on that thought exactly. He had his own headcanons of you, some defy the canon version of you to fit his own needs and wants, but thats alright since it's his headcanon. No body else's.

Katsuki read a lot online about different "shifting" methods. To be quite frank, he thought it was all bullshit. No way could you "shift" to another world? One that he knows doesn't exist because it was made up. It's just someone on some paper, how could you "travel" to their world? Didn't make sense to him

But yet, he hoped maybe prayed a little that he would have a realistic dream about you. Oh how he wishes to hold your hand or give you a bone-crushing hug. How he wishes you'd comfort him after a tiring day of being a hero at u.a , how he wishes to be reassured that everything will be okay.

Katsuki begins to drift into sleep, his breathing goes shallow and his heart beat goes to a calm pace. As his body begins to repair itself after the long day. Katsuki's brain was getting ready to indulge into the land of dreams. Some people say dreams have hidden meaning whilst others say their made up. To Katsuki they symbolise something he needs to keep an eye out for. If he is to dream about heroism and fighting villains, he is on high alert the next day. He thinks it's silly but really it's just superstition.

"Hey!" Katsuki yells as you run away from him, you squeel with giggles as the blond boy can't keep up with you. The ruby eyed boy manages to catch up to you and tackles you to the grassy floor that you were running through. You both seemed to be in a sunny park, filled with bloomjng flowers and green grass. Bee's working hard collecting pollen whilst the pretty butterflies just fly around enjoying their short life. Katsuki huffed and puffed at he hovered over you, a cheeky grin adorning his face as he carches his breath

"You run fast for someone so struggles to keep up with me in training" Katsuki gloats knowing you struggle to spar with him after a long day of training. You laugh at his antics as you retaliate back with just as much confidence

"You know you love me enough to not care!" You watch as Katsuki's cheeks start to coat over with a deep blush as he moves his head away. You laugh at how easily you make this boy fluster with simple words. As much as you love this boy you know you can't keep him around for long, you know his alarm will go off in a few moments so it's best if you wrap up tonights dream.

"Hey Kats' ?" You ask quietly waiting for the boy to compose himself, katsuki looks down at you still underneath him completely unphased in your current state.

"Yeah?" He responds in the same tone as you, wondering what's so important that your tone has changed from sweet and giggly to serious and almost upset

"It's almost time..." you say as you watch as the glimmer in his ruby eyes fade realising what you meant. He hates this time of the night when you have to say goodbye

"No no no, n-not yet please!" Katsuki tried to reason with you, he doesn't like this time of the night when you have to part ways, not knowing when you will meet again.

"You know I can't control this Katsuki...I promise I'll still be with you here" you sheepishly point to his heart. Unfortunately you can't hear it breaking but Katsuki most definitely can.

As you begin to fade away out of Katsuki's dream, he tries with all his strength that he has gained from training to try and keep you from disappearing, but to no avail you fade into the green grass below you as you almost appear as an oasis to the blond above you

"See ya' soon kats' " you say with tears in your normally smiley eyes that hold so much love.

"Wait please!" Katsuki pleads as he scrapes the grass that no longer has you sitting on it. Katsuki stares at the ground wondering why he can't just be with you. Yes, he knows the reason why but doesn't want to believe it.

Katsuki stirs in his warm bed , groaning at the sound of his alarm waking him up signalling to him to start getting ready for the day.

"Stupid alarm" katsuki pressed the 'snooze' button on his phone. He wipes the sleep out from the corner of his eyes. As he grabs his phone checking his notifications to see what the world was up to when he was asleep. One notification in particular catches his tired eyes

"New chapter posted on a manga you have favoruited!"

Katsuki seen the notification about the lastest chapter of your manga posted. He debates reading it before getting ready but instead opts for a different option.

Katsuki clicks the notification bringing him into the online manga app to view the lastest chapter. He debates his idea before going through with it, he knows it will ease his mind and not make him distracted anymore.

"Delete from library"

"Confrim"

Katsuki takes a deep breath, he hopes he can stay on track on becoming the greast hero ever. Your little manga can wait until then.

Bakugou has been outside for what seems like forever, you thought he went out for a phone call which people normally would do if they got a call in the common room.

You decided to go make some tea for people who were in the common room, you tried to go over the lines in your head to the confession you were going to say to Bakugou once he came back, you deicded today would be the day you'd confess since Bakugou had been in a good mood all day, you were still nervous though

You brought the tea over to the common room as you joined the conversation

"They've been outside for forever now! How long does it take?" Kaminari asks as he reaches for a tea cup

"I'm getting impatient I'm gonna seak out" Mina suggests, you and Asui decided to join to see what was going on, to be quite frank you wanted to know who Bakugou was with

As you quietly made your way over behind Heights allience, you could hear a conversation,

"I'm happy were on the same page ya' know" Bakugou says in a quiet tone, you could hear the happiness spilling out of his mouth, who was he talking to?

"Yeah...I wanted to confess earlier but I didn't think you'd want to be with me" Ururaka says sheepishly, what was going on?

"Tch dumbass, My fairytale ending ends with you" Bakugou teased as he joked with his new partner...someone who you would of killed to be

"You're so cheesy" Ururaka said as she went in for a hug....

@Hero-media : wow! Didn't think we'd seen the ugly side of Camie! Let's hope she cleans up her act! 🎭

Bakugou reads over the tweets as he sips on his coffee, today it wasn't sweet like it normally would be, instead a bitter taste floods his mouth as he takes another sip to try and wake him up. Maybe it was a reminder of what happened the previous night, if the coffee doesn't tell him his clothing would since he never got changed out of his tux, instead chose to hit to couch the momemt he got home as to forget about the night as quickly as possible.

Katsuki scrolls through all the vidoes of Camie crying and making a mockery of herself after she kissed him to make you jealous, tch as if you'd be jelous since you had your eyes on someone else...

"*sigh* why can't she just leave me alone...hopefully she takes the karma well and gets her act together...damn Camie"

Katsuki can feel the cold weather outside creep into his apartment since the heating wasn't turned on, not like it truly botherd him due to his quirk but he is expecting company soon so he better make the place look presentable and welcoming.

On the other end of the city, you lye in your dress from the night previous as you fiddle with the bracelets on your wrist.

"Do you think I can show my face again?" You ask to sero as he trys to figure out the coffee machine in the hotel room he booked for you, he booked you seprate rooms for privacy but nobody likes to eat alone when company is offerd.

"Of course, I'd say you'll be hearing a sob story from Camie soon and a half-arsed apology to go with it" sero grimaced as he got the coffee machine to work woth slight force, he was dressed in casual wear since he got chaged after he helped you into your room sonce you were a bit tipsy after the drinks Mina gave you in the taxi home to halp you forget what happened. It's the thought that counts Mina

"I don't care honestly, he can have her, give the rest of the country a bit of peace if he can keep her in line" you laugh at the thought of Camie acting like a spoilt child who wants everything but doesn't deserve it due to their behaviour, fitting

"Have you checked your phone?" Sero asks handing you your coffee to help with the hangover you have been graced with, you don't want to check your since you knew you'd been flooded by news outlits looking for your insight on your current ordeal, all you want is to snuggle paprika and to order a Chinese takeaway

"I'll check to get rid of the notifications, I need a assistant to manage my work I want to avoid" you say bordly as you move your hand around on the messy bed sheets to find your phone,

You look at the text messages you got over the hours you slept away as to avoid the emails you had been receiving about interviews

Mina : sorry about the alcohol! I'll buy you dinner! <3

Kirishima : if you need anythung just text! 💪🏻 ways here to help

Jirou : are you okay??

Jirou : I'm gonna kill her

Mitsuki : y/n please give me a call once your home safe alright?

Katsuki : y/n where dod you go?!

You scan through your messages, mentally reminding yourself to respond later, until you seen a text from Mitsuki, damn was that women a life saviour...

"Later when I get back to my place ill give you a call about my next move alright? Thanks again sero" you thank Sero for all he has done over the last week helping you prepare for the event, only for it to go up in flames

"No problem, get some rest...and a hair bursh" he jokes as he waves goodbye before lwaving your hotel room to provably get himself ready before checks out of the hotel

Katsuki cleans his apartment before his management comes over to scold him for the ruining the event, he doesn't want to hear anything from anyone, especially after his mom rang him earlier to scold him like a young child for making you cry. Mitsuki always loved you like the daughter she never had. She always was wanted to go on shopping trips and to visit restaurants, she cried when you shows her your engagement ring after Katsuki proposed, she was finally getting her daughter she dreamed about. After she found out about your break up she was headtbroken, Masaru thought she was the one to get broken up with. She was so worried she wouldn't be able to see you again, it wouldn't be proper etiquette to see your sons ex was it? God forbid he moved on then she really couldn't see you.

Katsuki will never forget the painful expression his mom had after she took down all the photos that adorned her walls of her home that you were in, all the memories she made with you, gone but never forgotten, right?

A ringing noise breaks Katsuki out of his cleaning, he moves towards his phone on charge, doesn't read the name since he was expecting it to be his sidekick

"Katsu? Are you okay?"

Great

"Why did you ring me? I thought I told you to piss off" katsuki was annoyed to be even hearing Camies voice after last night, what the fuck did she want?

"Arn't you gonna deny the roumours about me?! They are making me out to be a villian!" She fake cries over the phone,

Katsuki seen earlier that some people conspirisied that Camie was trying to get Katsuki drunk enough to do things with her and to then blame it on the alcohol, the ammount of drinks Camie gave to Katsuki that night was ungoldly, good thing for his strong tolerance. Other people claimed it was all a media show for money and fame on Camies end, she never made it high in the ranks until she joined Katsukis agency

"No, go away or I'll block your number" katsuki deadpans as he hangs up the phone, he'll let his assisant deal with her wines

You rang Mistuki back after she texted you to meet at your apartment, you got a quick shower and got into some presentable clothing before she arrived soon. You had a feeling what you were going to talk about but even so you were a nervous wreck,

The door bell rang and Paprika was quick to bark to let you know there was an "intruder" at the door, you push paprika away to open the door to let Mitsuki in, once paprika relaises who it was she went bananas and tried to jump up for cuddles with her third favourite person, you could argue it was her first due to her reaction.

You guide Mitsuki into your small dining room that looks out onto the city skyline, you place some tea infront of her as you seat yourself opposite her and sip your tea, paprika getting under the table rubs from Mitsuki as she begans to talk

"How are you sweetheart?" She asks gently with soft eyes,

"Doing better, After last night all I want is peace" you answer honestly

"All I want is for you to be at peace with what has happned, y/n, don't do anything to please others"

"I know but.."

"If your still thinking about that brat, let me tell you something alright?" Mitsuki lets you in on a secret

"Once you left Katsuki, he shapped up big time. He spent more time with Masaru doing things they done when he was little such as going hiking and fishing, I never thought I'd see the day where my demon spawn would give me a hug out of love rather then obligation because I made him to" your awestruck at the news about what Katsuki was up to after you broke up, you kept yourself busy with work to notice

Mistuki continues after she takes a sip of her green tea "He became a better person for himself and for everyone around him, I think you taught him to enjoy the present and not wish for more and be greatful....once he realised his future was gone after you left him he got his ass in shape and started to do things for himself, he went to anger management classes and started taking time for his mental health, I've seen such an improvement in his anger, truly" she continues "He would keep some things you gave him as if you were dead, honestly it was like he was scared to move on incase you came back...he spent some nights at are house when his apartment got too lonely for him"

You were shocked that Katsuki felt alone without you, you knew he could be clingy but the fact that he was trutly sorry for what he done and that now he has to own up to his actions was soemthing else,

"If you can't face him I can relay a message" Mitsuki offers,

"Please, if you dont mind" you debate in your head if you want to start things over again or go seprate paths. He seems to be doing better now that your gone but at the same time you can have a normal relationship again since he realsied amd fixed his mistakes....

You had a hard decision to make....

Summary : Bakugou and Y/n go through hardships during their engagement, will they be able to wait for each other at the alter or will they find someone new to share their vows with?

Bakugou poured the hot water from the kettle into the two teacups, he rummaged for some light snacks in the cupboards.

A voice from across the room called, making Katsuki answer as he brought the items over to the table

"How long do you think y/n will be away for? Normally they would be calling you by now to make sure your okay, although they might be asleep" they said as they brought their cup to their lips

"Not sure, maybe a few days, but with the media on our asses it might be lookin' like a week, dunno"

"Hm, I could see how she is? Not sure of our friendship status though, don't want to cross onto unwanted territory" she says as she takes a sweet from the tray

"She likes you, she never has said a bad word about you, ever, she never does about anyone– she is a loyal person so if she likes you and considers you her friend? She'll defend your name for life"

"True true, but ya' know me being your ex...it might look a bit weird"

"Tch, we were only dating for a year and a bit, she knows our past, so does everyone else, they all know we're business partners"

"Yeah but the media and the public don't know everything that goes on behind closed doors"

"And I'd like to keep it that way" katsuki isn't happy thinking about what the media could think of them, he doesn't care really– it's more so what you might think of the situation

Katsuki looks over at his ex on the sofa as she pets Paprika. He thinks about what life would of been like if he never broke up with her. He thought about what life as pro heros would of been like, being side by side on the battle feild would be like. Katsuki remembers why they broke up, nothing bad happened they just weren't able to make things work with hero training and exams, they decided to end on good terms before things turned sour.

Katsuki was taken out of his train of thought as she pipes up after placing her empty tea cup down

"What are your next steps regarding y/n? At least tell me you apologised for yelling and getting angry with her?"

"No‐ not yet. I will when she is awake tomorrow, probably will give her the ring after work. I'll see if we can meet up, I'd prefer to do it in person then over the phone ya' know?"

Katsuki wanted you home so fucking bad. He was running on emotions rather then intelligence. He understands that you have the right to be pissed off – which you are – but he doesn't want things to end on a bad note. He wouldn't be able to live even knowing you walked away with a bad taste in your mouth from your relationship with him.

"Make sure she is home before anything serious else happends alright? I'll be in work for the next week so I can't play therapist any longer, go give kirishima a call, I'm sure he can help" she says as she gathers her belongings from the sofa

"I would only if the other idiots don't trail along, they probably see this as a time to get drunk or some shit, I know I said this before but I'm not lookin' to drag you into this crap, you were the only one to hear me out" katsuki grumbles as he follows her to the door unlocking it and letting her out

"Alright text me or anyone else if you need anything, don't let y/n be waiting for an apology, I'm serious"

"Yeah, yeah I got it. Thanks again Camie see ya' around" katuski says his goodbye as he scratches his scalp and rests his hand in his pocket

"No problem katsu, just give me a call if you need me to cover a shift! Bye!" Camie gleams as she waves goodbye as she walks away down the corridor of the apartment building towards the elevator

Katsuki closes the door and makes his way back to the sofa and sits down beside paprika

*woof*

"You talkin' to me?" Katsuki asks paprika as if she would respond

Katsuki scratches paprika head as she gets comfy beside him. Katsuki called Camie over since he knew she was available after work. He would of called Kirishima but he was worried that group that would follow along would try and make him get drunk. It happned before after he broke up with Camie, Kaminari snook some of his parents alcohol and they tried to him Katsuki forget about her.

The relationship between Katsuki and Camie is a safe one. No romantic feelings there, just a simple friendship that they both agreed on. He was happy he got to keep her as a close friend since he felt like he didn't have many,

Well you were his best friend– still are – but my fuck does he want you home right now to help him fall asleep. During the conversation he had with Camie they talked about why Katsuki was annoyed, and how he could of prevented him lashing out on you. He was frustrated with himself since he was taught by his personal trainer in work to get rid of unwanted emotions either in training or on the battle feild.

This is why Katsuki and Camie were in a stable relationship before. Camie was his rock, the person he knew would listen to him when other's wouldn't. He knew Camie would drop everything to help him so he knew he could rely on her at a shit time like now. Camie and Katsuki had dreams together they are still achieving side by side. One of them was Camie standing beside him as he accepts his no.1 award. But when they broke up and you took her place a few years later when Katsuki met you at Momo's merchandise launch you designed and was the most successful launch of the year, he was hooked. Anyone and everyone could see Camie was a little jealous seeing you beside Katsuki instead of her. You were beside him at hero parties and gala's, wearing matching outfits you designed along side Katsuki's parent's. You rose to fame along side your boyfriend and you both were announced the most loved hero couple. Merchandise was made of you both constantly, you kept a small drawing given to you by a young child they drew of you and Katsuki that down decorates your hallway in your apartment for everyone to see.

The new merchandise you wanted to show Katsuki when he came home before the fight broke out was of the two of you and paprika as dolls in casual summer clothing. You knew fans were asking for a couples collector doll including your furry pal, unfortunately your fans might never see the product adorn store shelves.

Katsuki turned off the lights as he made his way to bed, the smell of his quirk still potent in the room as he opened a window to help the smell travel out. He got into bed and grabbed your pillow. He is a secret lovesick lover, he can barely sleep without you, so he needs to be able to hold you or something of yours. He tucked your pillow under his arm to mimicking your body that he would cuddle during the night.

"Night y/n"

Katsuki woke up to the feeling of something beside him, his morning conscious didn't let him register the fluffy body before he hugged it tight,

"Mornin' babe" Katsuki's morning voice groaned as be stirred awake

*woof*

Katsuki froze and opened his eyes, only to find Paprika facing him wide awake, up and ready for her morning walk. Katsuki thought you were beside him as you normally would be, he wasn't mad that his fluffy friend took your place but wasn't happy about it either

Katsuki got up out of bed and let paprika follow him as he got ready before patrol, he took his phone to the bathroom to check his socials before he leaves and to see if y/n texted him back after last night

One new message from Kirishima

Katsuki knew it was about the patrol schedule and where they're going for lunch, he would rather check his timeline to see if the media has posted anything else on his breakup

@hero-media : when will we see new Dynamight merch?? It's been sooo long 🤧😱

@hero-media : anyone know why Dynamight hasn't told us the story yet?? What's he hiding?

@hero-media : Shouto's meet and greet has been postponed to next week due to a miss communication on the food being served! Who knew how much this man was dedicated to cold soba 🤔🥣

Katsuki has decided to keep quite on his end and not post anything on his social media regarding you both, he will wait until its nessisary or people start crazy roomers.

He finished up in the bathroom and made his way to the bedroom to quickly change into workout gear to bring paprika on a walk before work. Katsuki grabs his shoes from his closet and makes his way into the kitchen to get paprika leash ready before leaving.

The morning glow of the sun peaking through the curtains shine brightly on the lavish ring on the counter that hadn't moved since the day previous. Katsuki knew each time he looked at that ring and knew it was missing from it's home, which was on your finger, he knew he was letting you slip through his fingers and he needed to get his ass him gear if he wanted to see you wear that again.

Katsuki ties his shoes and gets paprika ready to go. He locks his apartment door and the air conditioning from the apartments hallway hits him as he walks to the elevator as paprika trails behind him. He presses the button and waits for the doors to open.

As Katsuki and paprika step out of the elevator doors as it reached the ground floor of the apartment, they make there way to the front doors of the apartment complex. The summer heat floods Katsuki's senses as he brings paprika along the sidewalk.

Paprika is familiar with the route they take on their walks so she leads the way by slightly pulling katsuki along. Katsuki doesn't mind as he is more focused on avoiding people passing by and the music playing in his earphones.

As they make their way to a busy crosswalk, paprika sits down as she was trained to wait for the cars passing before it was safe to cross, katsuki made sure your dog was very well trained as to not have difficulties.

Katsuki notices some paparazzi across the road interviewing some smaller heros on patrol, he wants to stay far away from them as to avoid the much wanted topic of conversation.

Unfortunately paprika had a different idea. As they cross the street and began walking towards the park, paprika spots a bird minding it's own business eating whatever it found on the floor. Paprika sprints towards the bird dragging katuski along making him startled and be dragged along

"Hey- slow down, your gonna break my damn arm!" Katsuki yells not caring about the heads turning as people watch the funny scene unfold, unfortunately also gathering the attention of some fans

"Hahah is that Dynamight?! Quick get a video of this!" A bypasser says as they take out their phone to record the scene. Katsuki didn't care, he was more focused on his dog not getting a lovely snack before breakfast.

"Dynamight?? Wow- quick get the crew!"

The paparazzi shouts towards the camera crew as they try and get close enough towards Katsuki to ask some questions, questions Katsuki would like to avoid

"Mr.Dyanamight! How are you handling your breakup?"

"Dynamight will you be looking into an arranged quirk marriage so the venue doesn't go to waste??"

"Mr.Bakugou will we be able to see y/n? We miss her! "

"Y/n deserves better then someone who would rather be in the office then at home!" One hater yelled over the interviewer

Katsuki could hear the questions but kept his head down as he turned up the volume on his phone for his music. He pulls paprika towards the park trying to get away from the media

"Hey wait! Is there a chance we can get an inside story as to why you guys really called off the wedding??"

Katsuki keeps walking with paprika trailing behind. He never cared for paparazzi or interviews asking meaningless questions unless it was after a tragic event and people needed to be reassured everything was alright. Katsuki knew he needed to make a statement soon to keep your name safe from the media and to clear up some allegations.

As katsuki and paprika have been at the park for a while. Not many people where at this section of the public park since the playground was at the opposite side. He sits down near some food stalls as he gives paprika some water since it got very warm and katsuki would rather her have the water then himself.

He could hear some background conversations since clearly people forget they are in public and other people could hear them.

"I think he doesn't even love her anymore, probably just stringing her along for the money– poor girl" one person said

"I'd say they decided to have some fun and add a third person one night and feelings got involved, I'm wondering who it could be?"

Another adds to the conversation

"Hm no I'd say they want different things in life, they seem so different. Their relationship never seemed right with me" the final person said as the conversation faded into the distance as the group left the food stall with their food.

Katsuki really needs to say something incase the rumours really start to hurt. He doesn't love you? How did they come to that theory? He really does love you, so fucking much. So much infact he will happily go beg for you back and marry you tonight if he could! But your still off the radar hopefully still at the hotel and not somewhere unsafe.

8:27am

Katsuki realises the time and he needs to get home before patrol so he can have breakfast and feed paprika .

As they made their way back to the apartment, Katsuki realises his phone going off revealing a text coming through. Katsuki unlocks the door allowing paprika to trail in and go get some water as katsuki takes off his shoes and swaps them for slippers before getting her breakfast, Katsuki will eat at the office.

One new message from y/n ❤

Y/n ❤ : I need time to think about our future, I want time to think of a way to try and solve our issues together like a couple should. For now I'll be coming back when your on patrol to get the rest of my things as I'm planning to stay with my brother until things get sorted, stay safe out there

Wow, that hurt

Katsuki texts back nit expecting a response right away, but doesn't care he is responding to quickly, he care.

Katsuki 🧡 : I'll be back at 4, paprika will be waiting for you :) I can take the rest of the week off to meet up somewhere and discuss things over. I'm really fucking sorry but I know it means more in person to apologise to I'll wait until I can meet you to talk things through. Love you lots stinker :•)

Katsuki kept the lovely dovey crap to a minimum but he wanted to give a small apology before he spills his heart out. If he needs to play Romeo and steal back his Juliet, watch the fuck out because this prince charming is coming for his sweet princess

You check your phone after sending Katsuki your text.

Right

At least he wants to meet up with you. You want to sort things out with Katsuki, forget about the wedding for the moment, you want your man back in your arms only if he can understand why he can't have you at the moment. You feel like your teaching a child why they can't have every toy at the toy store.

You want to go to couples counselling. You believe it's the last resort and maybe for Katsuki and yourself to seek a therapist privately and separately incase there are other things that needed to be sorted out.

You finish drinking your small drink you made at the hotels small coffee station in the hotel room as you turn on the tv to your show that you enjoy watching. You made plans with your brother to stay with him until things get sorted out with Katsuki so you're no longer staying in a hotel room. As much as you want to snuggle up beside katsuki and hear his bear snores and hear him fight paprika over bed space beside you, you mentally need space from him to learn why your relationship has come to a halt before it gets messy, even though it clearly has begun to fall apart.

You pack your things as you get ready to clock out of your hotel room before 10 as that's when you called your taxi too take you to your brothers house not to far from the hotel.

Your brother, b/n, is your buddy, your best friend. Even though he is two years younger, he still acts like a goofy 15 year old boy. Crazy to think he owns a house before you. Well, the apartment is closest to Katsuki's agency and near a train station for you to get into town.

You will check up on Katsuki later after hero work, you will probably will leave him another note.

You also are dying to get paprika into your arms. Poor girl is probably on that weird healthy dog crap again, we all know she enjoys your breakfast leftovers and small snacks, even much to Katsuki's dismay you love treating your baby girl as if she was your own daughter.

You have made plans to celebrate with Momo and the other girls on the weekend at a small party she is throwing for her friends. You have to go and find something to wear before the party. Your confident in your sense in fashion that no matter what you pick you will be the most gorgeous version of yourself you have seen in a while.

You may even post something from the party on social media to tease the media, is it worth it? Fuck it. You only live once as who cares if your out partying? No one cam dictate how you spend your time!
