The adults don’t understand that Bakugo is physically incapable of backing down from a fight. He’ll go until either All Might or he end up dead on the cold hard pavement.

Jesus, It felt so wrong saying “the adults”, like I’m not part of this particular group of people. Goddammit, why do I still put myself together with the teenagers?

“A true hero never backs down from a fight”, “a true hero never surrenders to the villains”, “A true hero never loses”... Those are the sort of stuff that Bakugo believes in. Sure, that’s a truly brave way to see the world and his role as part of the hero community, but goddammit kid, you need to put your brains before your fist for once, and realize that you can’t always win, specially not alone.

“Winning” isn’t always the same as “beating your foes into submission”. You need to start to see that.
