One of my favourite things about bkdk is that it just, works in whatever universe you put it in

Like medicine students? Great they get to fight about who can do the best surgery and saves the most lives while everyone around them gossips about how much they're flirting

You can literally just stick them in a store and they'll compete about who makes the most sales with enough unresolved tension to be the centre 'will they/won't they' relationship of the story

You don't wanna follow the rivals-to-lovers route? Great! You got a whole trope of childhood friends to look into there as well whether you're feeling a sweet 'rekindling their friendship' theme or even angsty apology fics it's just got everything rolled into one

Deku doing that flopping thing bunnies do with people he feels comfortable around like if they're sat on the sofa he'll just throw himself across their lap or slump against their back.

Most of the class find it endearing, maybe a bit weird, but Bakugou will of course pretend to be pissed whenever it happens to him. He really does love it though because Deku hasn't done it around him since they were kids and it makes him happy that Deku trusts him again.

Sad bkdk thought time but imagine all the possibilities for self doubt in their relationship after they start dating

Bakugou would worry if Deku secretly hates him because of everything he did in middle school. Maybe the entire relationship is some elaborate way to get back at him and Deku is playing along just to rip out his heart later on

Deku would wonder if Kacchan is just dating him to make up for what he did- What if he doesn't actually feel the same but just said he liked him too because he still feels guilty about what happened? When Kacchan thinks he made up for it would he just leave Deku behind?
