You can always cozy up in our library to read or get some work done while you enjoy a cuppa. Snacks and treats will be available to compliment your tea.

This event is bi-weekly at 7:00 PM eastern time the first Monday and third Monday of each month (and fifth Monday, if applicable).

In-Game Memorial For Dani Russo

The Tangled Boughs will be holding an OOC memorial for our former FC leader and founder, Dani - AKA Milloux Allard, Violetta Fierlane, T’Many Allowe and others, on Sunday, 8/28, at 6pm EDT at LB Ward 28th in the Amethyst Shallows.

We will be meeting up OOC to share our memories of Dani, admire the fireworks and enjoy each other's company. Wear your purple and bring your paissa! Even if you weren't close with Dani, if you have fond memories to share or wish to show your support, you are invited.

With some help, I've put together a memorial carrd in tribute to Dani. It includes the details of our memorial, a place to submit stories and screencaps, and links to charities that Dani supported or were suggested by her mother.

Ladies and gentlemen: the time has come once again! After yet another long winter’s time of gathering resources - And now sponsoring the illustrious Etheirys Blitzball League - the Higuri Regalia is proud to announce the return of the “Regalia Largesse” - marking its seventh occurrence!

For those unaware or uninitiated: The Regalia Largesse is an annual event spanning anywhere between 5-7 days that occurs around the late spring/early summer, and is considered the “pinnacle of Noblesse Oblige”!

During this event, individuals from the Higuri Regalia’s hierarchy will make appearances within the various city-states to offer wares to the adventuring public - FOR FREE (Tips and donations are always greatly appreciated, but never mandatory)!

On Sunday, June 16th, at around 7PM EDT, look for a Party Finder ad from any one of the Regalia members; they will provide you information on where they are, and what items will be offered, with a detailed list of what’s available while supplies last.   Due to the ever-increasing quantity of wares, their post  duration has been extended to three hours. All locations take place on the Balmung World in the Crystal Data Center.

Also, throughout the week, starting at the commencement of the Largesse, those who are willing to partake in a special contest will receive a number.  On last day of that week (i.e. the end of  the Largesse), a raffle will take place where a series of numbers will be drawn, and those who win will be offered prizes!

RULES:

*To enter the raffle, simply ask the representative currently posted during that day; a tracker is kept throughout the course of the event, and is  shared amongst the Regalia members.

You MUST attend the final day of the Largesse in order to qualify for a chance to win.

In the event you are unable to attend the raffle for any reason, you are allowed 1 proxy to vouch for you, so long as they state whom they are  replacing.

If your number happens to be drawn, you are offered a chance to decline a particular prize if you have eyes on another, but a winner will be decided for the sake of fairness.

*IMPORTANT: IN LIGHT OF CHANGES TO THE MOG STATION, AND AS AN ADDITION TO THE FIRST RULE: YOU WILL RECEIVE A FRIEND REQUEST FROM THE REGALIA MEMBER DURING THEIR POST.  SHOULD ANY WINNERS RECEIVE AN ITEM FROM THE MOG STATION AND DO NOT YET MEET THE 72-HOUR GRACE PERIOD, THEY MUST WAIT UNTIL THAT IS CLEARED BEFORE RECEIVING IT.

Notes: Sprouts (New Players/Adventurers) will receive Flying Beds and/or attire Coffers as a consolation gift.

Realising its potential as both a meeting place and a means of capital, its proprietor expanded the business throughout the various city-states of Eorzea until The Fireside became synonymous with coffee, company and great food; sourly needed after the anguish of The Final Days. Now, patrons old and new can gather to enjoy the hospitality and cosy atmosphere these avenues provide. This establishment was made to focus on the creation and fostering of late-night/oceanic roleplay in the Final Fantasy XIV community. Though physically located in Balmung/Crystal’s Shirogane, the Fireside’s expansion into almost all the city-states creates a space where your character can walk in from almost anywhere, and our focus on a coffee-shop with a laid-back atmosphere encourages off-the-cuff, casual roleplay. An Evening of the Arts

Gallery Figaro has once again opened its doors for an unforgettable event. House Theroux has generously sponsored the establishment and the evening, inviting guests in for a special evening with contemporary artwork displayed by esteemed artists! Come enjoy the old mixed with the new in the world of art and craftsmanship.

The interior of the Gallery will be used for the IC roleplay event, while the exterior space will double as an art party. Guests are also invited to support good causes IRL!

THE ANNUAL EORZEAN MELON CRUSHING CONTEST!

It’s Moonfire Faire again, and you know what that means! Melon Crushing!

That’s right, it’s back! Come join our host, Miss Eorzea 2017 Kiera H as she hosts another wonderful melon crushing contest. No thighs will be denied! Any and all races are encouraged to come and participate!

The event will be run through /random. How it works is that you have “X” chances to reach “X” number, simulating the size of the melon and the effort taken to crush it. For example, the first round will be three chances to roll above 200. If you manage it on your first roll, fantastic! You do not have to roll anymore after that. 

We will be hosting it here at Hidden Falls <31,23> on August 20th 2022, at 2:00pm EST on Balmung server. 

This is an all-ages event, so please act appropriately! 

The prize this year is, like always, bragging rights, the title of Melon Crushing Champion of Eorzea, as well as 250,000 gil !

OBON ODORI

August 19th @ 8PM EST - 12AM EST [Balmung] Doman Enclave

Together we remember and celebrate our ancestors and dearly departed on this, the night of the Obon Odori. Come together with friends, and loved ones for a night of remembrance, partaking in our open market, story telling, lantern construction, and ritual blessings before we send the lanterns down the river in a beautiful promenade as they lead our loved ones back to their resting place.

We start off with our opening ceremony after which you can enjoy local vendors and lantern construction. Once open market closes we will have honored guests sharing stories before the Bon dance begins. With lanterns in hand we head to the river to set them afloat and bid our ancestors goodbye until next time.

We are currently looking for storytellers, fortune tellers, vendors, including lantern construction.
