Pathetic guy enjoyers simply have to get into balnor the brave. He is four feet tall and balding, he’s from the future in a town where mayo grows in nuts. He holds the bags, and his favorite food is tuna. He’s an alcoholic, specifically downs Bud Heavy’s like water. He took a shit in space and was a card. His entire village including his wife and his son were slaughtered by people called the hounds, who he subsequently killed like three times. He was almost murdered in a foursome and in an alternate timeline he died of Funkarrhea and was brought back to life as a dick out ape. I’ve cried over him, he’s the best character in the world

hold on I'm emotional about balnor rn... just. the way he was originally a joke, a goofy bumbling side character told to hold the bags while the real heroes fought. and then, in the blink of an eye he becomes family. a part of the band of boobs. bev's second dad, hardwon and moonshine's first. holding the bags is no longer a demotion but a sign of pure trust. when they're carrying cursed artifacts and demonic tomes balnor keeps the bags safe. and he's a fighter. he doesn't give up. he doesn't know where or who he is, not fully, but he knows how to help. how to get in an extra hit when you need one. how to be a body to a take a blow. how to stabilize. how to watch the bags. and then they meet alanis and his past comes into view and his rage and sadness and grief is honed into an impenetrable defense of the only people he's able to call family. and he protects their bags. not because they can't and not because he's unworthy of more glamorous work. but because you need someone to watch the bags.
