[ Well--here are just a few of the 100+ reptiles and species in my care. Hence why I’m gone so much these days. Things are all over the place in good and FUCKING WILD ways. All that aside, though--the animals make it worth it all, and I gotta say... THEY’RE ALL JUST SO BEAUTIFUL. A few of the older ladies and gentleman are either going to be rolling out onto the market soon, but most of the rest staying with us for pairings in the fiture. But I love them all dearly. Their beauty and diversity is just so... AESTHETICALLY PLEASING TO EACH ONE IN SUCH UNIQUE WAYS. Mmmmmm... I love me some diversity. ]
Note: I am not a snake breeder/owner, this is simply information and photos i have found online and believe to be factual after researching. If i get anything wrong, please tell me and i will correct or remove it :)

so on herp forums/blogs i see people calling their snakes "1.0"s and "0.1"s. (like "1.0 bamboo morph" or "0.1 hypo bp"). what does that mean? is it like the M/F/unsexed thing? does it have to do with dominant/recessive genes, or something else? sorry if its a dumb question i just couldnt seem to find the answers. love ur blog have a nice day/evening :} <3
It does indeed refer to the snake's sex! The first number is males, the second is females, and (if a third is included) that means unsexed. It's shorthand for keepers to both easily and quickly list the sexes of the snakes and confirm that they have been sexed.
So, for example, if I said I had 6.5.4 ball pythons, that means I have six males, five females, and 4 unsexed snakes.
First of all, thanks for the tag, @lordfenric-writes! Second, if I saw the instructions correctly I post the first 10 lines of a WIP. So here's a WIP I don't think I'll ever finish, I'll probably just post it one of these days as I don't think I'll finish it tbh.
Tagging: no one. If you see this post and wanna do it go right ahead and consider yourself tagged.
Spending time with friends and family was enjoyable to him and he often looked forward to it but there were times when a little time to himself was blissful and needed. This was one of those times. He left the bed around 8:26 in the morning and after breakfast he decided to clean the apartment; it usually took less than an hour, even for an apartment of that size, as he made sure it was always clean, however, this time he went for a deeper clean making sure to even dust areas no one would even see. He moved around anything that wasn’t nailed down or far too heavy for him to move by himself. Then he cleaned up Dagny's tank. Dagny, a three-month-old Bamboo Ghi Mojave ball python, sat in her fifty-gallon tank and was moved so he could clean up the tank. Jelani was strict about keeping her tank and her as clean as possible. He didn’t want to admit it to anyone, but Bheka’s death affected him more than he had let on, even a year later he still felt the cat’s absence. The vet reassured him he’d taken exceptional care of the cat especially since it lived to be twenty-five years old when normally Norwegian forest cats usually have a lifespan of sixteen years. Still, he felt as if he could’ve done something more or perhaps, he’d failed him in some way. The truth was that old age had caught up to the fluffy cat and since then he felt a part of him had died with him.
It’s time for the obligatory fursona question 😞 -Lyn (also last time I’m signing off on these cause cam dosent answer asks so just always assume it’s me ngl)
8. If they were an animal, which one would they be? Which one would they think they’d be?
Velia: she gives me white mink vibes purely on vibes alone, and she’d say she’s a cat.
Ambrose: he’s never really thought about the question so his first instinct is to say he’s a goldfish. but he’s def a reptile of some kind so I’m gonna go with a bamboo ball python.
Blaise: they’d say they’re some big ass bear and while I do think they’re a bigger animal I’m gonna go with wolf.
9. Do they cheat to win or play by the rules?
Velia: she always plays by the rules plus she’s an awful liar so she couldn’t cheat even if she wanted to
Ambrose: he cheats and he’s damn good at it too
Blaise: they cheat but they’re so bad at it so it’s very obvious
Age: 18 (Sticking with '16 Bayverse ages since they were 18)
Height: 5' 6"
Weight: How dare you ask?!
Crush: Raphael
Likes: Rock music, playing with her band Near Mirror, working at the record shop Obsolute Records, coffee, ANYTHING WITH SUGAR (she is a total sugar nut), energy drinks (the most she ever had was 5...and was on a total sugar high at 15)
Dislikes: the Foot, the color pink by itself, pretentious jerks, the traffic of NYC, horribly produced music, mayonnaise, coconut, artificially flavored banana and pineapple stuff (very rarely does she find some stuff with those flavors that actually tastes good), artificial cinnamon flavor (WAY too spicy). BUGS (specifically spiders).
About: Sam Daniels is a classic rock/punk lover who plays in her band Near Mirror for two years. She is an only child, raised mostly by her dad (mom was there, but never bothered). She meets April for a story that she was writing for Channel 6 news, but it never aired; April gave the copy ske kept, and the two were best friends ever since. After the kidnapping and murder of her father, April introduces to the Turtles, and she falls head over heels for the "bad boy" Raphael. She finds out he just wants to be understood by Leo and prove his worth, and he is actually secretly a sweet guy. Sam practically becomes a sister to them and becomes Raph's girlfriend down the line.
Headcanons: She is a sucker for Disney films; she cries during Treasure Planet (Raph finds it adorable, he cries a bit too during the movie). Mikey dared her to eat a cayenne pepper, and she did; then immediately chugged a whole gallon of milk. Donnie got her an iPod full of her favorite rock music, and said it was Raph's idea for an 18th birthday present. Leo makes sure when it comes to re-dying the red parts of her hair that she puts towels down so she doesn't stain the counter. She sees Splinter as her secondary father, and loves watching him care for his plants and bonsai trees (he loves it too and gave her a little bamboo plant to care for). She wants to get a pet snake, a ball python, but is debating if that will freak the guys out.
