I'm looking for a fic on Fanfiction.net that has a witch or a wizard do a spell on Tony, which switches his ideas of good and bad, essentially turning him evil. The Avengers try to stop him but he's just too smart, even without his suit. At the end, they subdue him and he says, "my eyes have been opened".

Hallway Crush
Elvis Presley x BAMF!OC Fem
Toni Stark is unlike any of the women Elvis has known. She's insanely intelligent, witty, and doesn't stand for anyone's shit. He develops a crush on her from afar, giving longing glances every time he sees her exiting press conferences when he's on the way to his concerts. Toni never notices him, more focused on escaping flashing cameras. But, what happens when Toni is gone for three months and comes back a changed woman with a certain glowing contraption in her chest?
Or: Toni Starks stays at the International Hotel pouring her time into the party life and meaningless one-night-stands. Elvis has a fierce interest in her, but then she's captured in Afghanistan and eventually comes back to Vegas as a workaholic and the metal hero we all know and love.
Not placed in the MCU or its timeline, I'm just using versions of the characters and their backstories in this story. Also will not be historically accurate when it comes to American politics and wars of the time. Priscilla does not exist in this story. Also not betaed.
Chapter 1: Let’s Start at the Beginning…
Antonia Margaret Stark was born during a catastrophic thunderstorm on May 29, 1945, foreshadowing the immense impact she would have on the world around her. Her loving mother, Maria Stark, was thrilled to welcome her baby girl into the world, while Howard Stark, Antonia's father, was quite the opposite. He needed a son. He had written in his will that his eldest child was to inherit the ownership of Stark Industries when he passed. Such a position was not meant for a woman. And he couldn't try to make an exception and have another child, as he and Maria already struggled to bring Antonia about. He was stuck and already held a grudge against his daughter for simply being born a female.
So, growing up, Antonia, or Toni as she would prefer to be called, was constantly pushed away by her father when she ever showed an interest in his line of work. At age 7, she had wandered into her father's office to show him a mechanical toy car she had built. He had been in a meeting with Obadiah Stane, Toni called him Uncle Obie, and when Howard was interrupted by the little girl's voice shouting, "Daddy, look what I made!" he slammed the door right on Toni, resulting in a few of her toes being broken. She didn't even have the energy to cry, too shocked to even feel the stabbing pain running up her left foot. When her mother found her crumpled on the floor by Howard's office door, her toy car scattered around her in pieces, Maria did not need to question what happened. She knew of Howard's distaste for their only child. Her mother simply bowed down to scoop Toni off the ground and laid her in her bed, calling a doctor to fix her foot.
Throughout elementary and middle school, Toni proved to be more intelligent than some of her teachers. She always won top prize in science fairs and spelling bees. Her mother was always there offering her sweet smiles of reassurance as well as her Aunt Peggy, one of her father's old friends from the military, who Toni looked up to for her strength, was there looking at her with pride. Uncle Jarvis, Howard's right-hand-man, was sure to attend every single one, being the father figure Toni never had. Even Uncle Obie had managed to come to a few of her events, apologizing for Howard's absence, claiming he was too "busy" with board meetings and inventing the next big military weapon.
From then on, Toni made it her life's mission to prove her father wrong, and show that she could be just as successful as him, if not more. Luckily, she was not alone in her journey, her mother supported her, buying her the textbooks she wanted and helping her change her bedroom into a lab space for her to experiment. And, of course, she had her Aunt Peggy and Uncle Jarvis who would come to the house to tell Howard about their adventures, but would always devote time to listen to Toni ramble on about electric circuits and whatever new scientific discovery she had made. Uncle Jarvis was the only man in Toni's life she truly trusted. He taught her how to ride a bike and tie her shoes. But, she had a special bond with her Aunt Peggy as well, her hardiness and red lipstick just two of the things Toni had admired about her aunt. She always took Peggy's advice, to always stick up for herself; not to move, but make others move instead.
At age 13, Toni was already enrolled at MIT, breezing through her courses, rarely paying attention to the lessons, having the occasional professor call her up to the board to solve an equation to which she would break down with ease. In 1958, she was the youngest and only female student at MIT. She was sure her name had something to do with her enrollment, but she also knew her credentials were beyond extraordinary. She constantly had a target on her back, not missing the sneers some of the boys give her, assuming she only got in on the basis of who her father was. But, she had many accomplishments at MIT, including her invention of the first form of Artificial Intelligence. She decided to create a robot to help her with her tools, which prompted her to try a new type of coding where the robot’s skills developed by learning through experiences. It also caused the robot to gain personality traits, one of which being its blatant ignorance, earning it the name of DUM-E. She graduated at age 17 with an undergraduate degree in computer science and molecular biology and eventually received two master’s degrees in engineering by age 19.
After her time at MIT, Toni spent her days on minor projects for Stark Industries because of her father’s refusal to give her an official position in the company. It was better than nothing, she told herself. She was participating in the hands-on aspects of the engineering, experimenting with welding and proper wire placement. Most of the time she had the fellow engineers question her methods or tell her to leave and let the men do the work. Her life went on like this for two years, she was content(ish), but felt she was ready to move on to bigger things.
Then December 16, 1966 rolled around which would cause Toni’s life to take a full 180. It seemed like a normal winter day, she woke up to go to the lab, before wishing her parents safe travels for their visit to the Pentagon. Her father shrugged her off with annoyance and told her not to make a mess of his penthouse while they were away. Her mother stood on her toes to kiss Toni’s forehead, before she said her last words to her daughter, “Farewell, Gioia, show those stuck-ups that you’re a Stark,” she whispered the last part before grabbing her bag and walking out of Toni’s life forever with the shutting of a door.
While working on a new rotator for the latest missile, one of the welders had handed her a rusted phone after saying, “It’s for you, Stark,” Her eyes became watery as she heard the monotone voice on the other end tell her that her parents were in a fatal car accident while en route to the Pentagon. She dropped the phone and ran into the tiny ladies’ restroom before getting sick in one of the toilets. Her father had taken her mother away from her. He took everything from Toni. Her mother was gone. Her sweet, caring, innocent mother who had seen Toni’s potential when her father hadn’t. Her mother who had made her tea and tiramisu after having a bad day at MIT. Her mother who silently stood up against Howard by supporting Toni’s passion. She would never see her again. Toni had never felt so helpless in her life. She crumpled on the dusty bathroom tile and sobbed into her knees for hours until someone had called Uncle Obie to come looking for her. When he found her in her fetal position, he pulled her onto her feet before speaking solemnly, “Come on, your mother wouldn’t want to see you like this,” Toni let out a sob at the mention of her mother before he continued, “Let’s get you home.” But Toni knew her home would no longer be home anymore without the smell of her mother’s perfume or her homemade Italian meals.
The funeral was quiet with only close friends and family in attendance. Aunt Peggy and Uncle Jarvis were there with their arms around Toni and their eyes stuck on the shiny caskets. Obadiah had wanted Toni to say a few words for her lost parents. Toni rambled on about her mother's proud Italian roots and how she devoted her time to philanthropy and helping those in need. How she never let her own emotions get in the way of helping others. How gloomy this world will be without her bright smile. Then it came to talk about Howard. Toni talked of his scientific discoveries and how the weapons industry would not be as advanced without him. She never told of anything personal because there was nothing to tell.
As Toni watched the dirt pour onto her parents' caskets, she discovered that she would do whatever she needed to do to reach the top of the pyramid. If it meant working until her body and mind broke, she would do it. She was no longer just Toni, she was Toni Stark.
After Obadiah Stane’s temporary position as CEO, Toni took over at age 21, being the youngest and only female CEO of any corporation, ever. She was a revolutionary, and she let it get to her head. She built weapons more advanced than her father’s, working herself to the bone for countless hours, becoming a scientific prodigy. The stocks rose drastically, until eventually Toni Stark had more money than God with too many properties, cars, and expensive paintings to count. Her life became a constant cycle of working in her lab for days, coming out for a day or two of partying, drinking, gambling, and meaningless sex with handsome journalists she would charm into her hotel room. She hid her pain behind lavish clothing, self-importance, and sarcasm.
She got herself an assistant, Pepper Potts, who was more a babysitter than a personal assistant, but they had an understanding of each other that led to an unbreakable friendship. She also had her butch security guard and chauffeur, Happy Hogan, who was hired more for Toni’s teasing than security purposes. But, most important of all, she met her best friend, her platonic soulmate, James Rhodes, or Rhodey Bear as Toni liked to call him. They met through the constant meetings between Toni and the military superiors. They immediately clicked and haven’t left each other’s side since. He went from U.S. Air Force officer to Toni Stark's best friend and the military's chief liaison to Stark Industries' weapons division. He was her rock and the voice of reason in her fuck-up of a life, cleaning the messes she left behind. He was the only one who saw the real side of Toni, past the façade of the rich, genius, playgirl, and instead saw the raw, emotional wreck of a human. And he never judged her for her true self, just held her when she cried.
When Toni wasn’t in New York for boring meetings and whatnot, she spent her days in the new International Hotel in Las Vegas. She had her own special penthouse built in the hotel with a lab for her late-night inventions and enough room to house 5 families. Her only companions were her two bots DUM-E and Butterfingers, who she'd brought from New York to stay in her hotel room. Though occasionally Pepper or Rhodey would visit for business inquiries, but most people knew to leave her alone while she was in Vegas. She spent her days in the VIP lounge smoking cigarettes, drinking and flirting with men twice her age. Vegas reminded her of herself, it was full of chaos and it never slept. It was her escape from New York, the escape from the death of her mother and her father’s dissatisfaction. So, Vegas is where she stayed.

I’ve been lost in the rabbit hole for days looking for this story. It’s marvel’s, tony stark centric, I believe. I don’t remember much except that it’s set after civil war (maybe?) and Tony is BAMF, saving the world from alien all by himself. I also remember Carol Danver congratulating him on the treaty by uniting earth into one voice (type civilization 1 or something similar to it). Tony was kinda dubbed as king (or leader) of earth, something like that. Possibly Tony/Bucky pairing but I’m not too sure about that.

Whumptober Day 2: Nowhere to Run
Fandom: Avengers
Prompts;
Cornered
Caged
Confrontation
Day 2 of Whumptober, wow I cant believe im doing this, these are probably the quickest and shortest stories ive ever written.
Tony knows theres a quote that he'd love to use right now. Something from an older movie, something about not cornering babies or something, but all his brain power is currently being used elsewhere.
Tony didnt like the other side of this. Not that he much liked being kidnapped either, but the other side of it sucked majorily. Especially when the people were kidnapped because of him. He thought being on a super hero team would keep things like this from happening. Sure he'd been kidnapped since the invasion (not that the team was aware of it anyway) but that he could handle, hes been saving himself since he was 5.
And of all his teammates, Bruce and the spy twins were not who he'd expect to be kidnapped. Sure Nat and Clint were human ish, but they were SPIES, and Bruce was the freakin HULK. It just didnt compute, and when did villians get smart enough to think of kidnapping teamates to get him to do things!?
And they were even smart enough to put him in such a time crunch they had zero time to plan anything. Every tick of the clock (mental clock as it was) was another foot of the walls closing in on him, an extra shot of adrenline that had his heart beating painfully against the reactor and his lungs constricting tighter and tighter.
His half an hour was almost up, the live feed of his teammates and the count down was only making him nervous but he couldnt bear to have it out of his sight. The device in front of him was rudimentary at best compared to what he could do with a bit more time, but it would work, the reactor was the important part anyway. Always the freakin reactor.
He puts it in a case, like those cliche movies, and books it to the meet up, Jarvis playing the livefeed for him and a soothing voice in his ear. He should have left a note or something, Cap would be mad hes sure, Pepper and Rhodey furious. But that would be someone elses problem, he only had one thing on his mind.
Keep the spies from being shot and a drugged up Bruce being launched attached to a rocket. (He didnt know what the man could survive and didnt want to test it.)
"JARVIS, how they doin?" He focus' on directions and birds and things that pass, to ensure he can actually make it to the rendevu.
"Alive sir. Annoyed in Ms. Romanoffs case, Bored in Mr. Bartons. I'm afraid Dr. Banner has been given another dose, and is incoherant still."
"Any chance they've found a way out yet?"
"...It does not seem so sir."
Tony curses vehemently, glancing at his teammates. Nat and Clint both wear iron prisoner gauntlets, to keep their hands unusable, chained to the bars of their cages, spread to further imobile them, legs tied together- and of course guns ready to shoot when the timer hits zero. Bruce- as mentioned before- is collared with several needles attached to it, and bound to a honest to god rocket.
Whoever was stupid enough to take them, would be dead. Tony would make sure of that, ledger be damned. He might of only had half an hour, but hes Tony Stark, and no one messes with his team.
The meet up is too close to a warehouse to be a coincidence, one of their many mistakes. A mere four people are waiting for him, and hes a little insulted, if not for a previously mentioned dead mans switch, Tony would blow them all up here and now.
"JARVIS, you know what to do. Remember, priority is the others, and if things go wrong, you know where my updated will is."
"...Yes sir." JARVIS was against it, but Tony was too determined to be deterred.
He lands, steps out of his armor, and feels JARVIS' departure, though his eyes stay trained on the people before him.
"Welcome Stark, bring what we asked?" The man he'd garnered was in charge over their interactions.
"In the case. But I want that timer shut off, they're safe first before I hand over anything."
"Are you really in the position to negotiate?"
"They die, and not only do you not get this thing, but you'll end up dead too. I have a record im sure you've reffered to."
This causes pause at least, they all fidget and have a quiet conversation. The count down continues in Tonys mind, but he carefully puts out nonchalance, free hand in his pocket as he leans back just slightly. Never show weakness.
"Fine." A laptop in one of the others hands, some quick typing, and the screen is flipped to show him the disarmed timer, guns, and rocket.
Now he has the tech guy, the leader, and the muscle. He moves forward finally, a pace between uncaring and not quite rude. He opens the case when hes a few feet away, watches the mans face light up as he takes the device and inspects it. The case is put aside, Tony knows what comes next, and while they think it is the last step, that there will be no further confrontation, they will be sorely mistaken. Tony wonders if he'll get to see their faces when they realize they were outsmarted by the man they underestimated.
"Now," mischief swims in his unhinged eyes as he looks to Tony, "show me how to connect the Reactor, how to start it."
Tony moves his shirt aside, heart beating harshly, as he twists
And pulls.
Its easy enough to connect the two things, even simpler to show the man how to opperate it.
"And how do I know this thing works?"
Tony makes a show of stumbling, moving away from the group and towards the nearest tree, leaning on it heavily.
"Try it out for all I care. Just let my teammates go."
He sneers, turing to consult with his group, all the better as they huddle close. They are newbs, they may have gotten the drop on 3 of the Avengers, but that was their only accomplishment. Tony could almost feel sorry for them, if he didnt detest them so.
His heart flutters, chest spasma, his knees give out, breath harder to pull in now. Still he watches, watches as the tech gestures to the trees, how they make a space and point their 'weapon', he cant quite see their faces, at least not all of them, but the one muscle guys he can see is enough.
The wave of energy that comes with the activation of the device is intense enough to bend the branches of the trees and blow up a large cloud of durt, but from Tonys hiding spot he still gets to peak at the destruction left behind. No fallen or burnt forest, no crater of disentegrated anything. Just four bodies, a mere smoking crisp of what they once were.
His disguised reactor was nothing more than a self distructing decoy. It could keep him alive for a time, even power the suit, but one wrong move? And you get this. A sure way to solve situations such as this, one made in a fit of paranoia, and one he was glad for. Even if it now means his slow death as shrapnel inches ever closer to his heart.
He slumps now, his part of the plan completed. Stares up at the sky as best he can, thinking of things left undone and red ledgers and the ones left behind. Its not quite how he thought he'd go out, no blaze of battle glory, or assasination attempt. Instead it will be the slow one taken from him all those years ago, in the hot desert.
His eyes fall closed at some point, waves of pain wracking his body, curled on his side in hopes to relieve, of course its in vain though, he can just picture his heart now-whats left of it- being torn to shreds.
Did he say goodbye to his bots? To JARVIS?
Why is the air so thin? Why cant he move? Is he trapped? What happened??
He must be trapped, hes dying, no he needs to get out, but why? Where is everyone? Why whywhywhywhyw-
Theres noise... so far away. Is he underground? Caged and buried!? HELP, JARVIS please-
"ONY! Listen, you gotta calm down! The new arc is almost here I promise! Just stay with me!"
The warehouse was so close, was it to taunt him with these visions? To feed him false hope in a never ending world of a fantasy life where he may actually have people that care? Jokes on them, he has long since accepted... that he is not the one anyone WANTS.
"Come on man, just try and breathe. Jar will be here any minute, you got us out, we're here now."
Well hes heard of two faced but this is ridiculous. Hes pretty sure fusing Clint and Bruce had not been a threat, but there they are, two heads in a pair of shoulders. Theres one head theres two, three fourfivesixse- where was he going with this?
"We're gonna have a talk about this Kotenok, this self sacrificing theme our team has going is going to turn me grey."
"Yerstll perty."
"Not the point, I dont like seeing you so close to death."
Something is running through his hair, gentle and soothing, he hopes its not snakes, that would suck.
"I can see JARVIS now buckethead, just a little longer."
He shudders and curls tighter as his chest tightens like a vice, splintering whatevers between its jaw. His eyes slip closed to panicked shouts, and his visions fade.
...
"I swear Tony if you ever do something like this again, I'll... sic Pepper, Rhodey, Happy and JARVIS on you!" Steve paces by the window unable to be still.
"That threat doesnt exactly-"
"Anthony! I have brought the biggest bear of well wishes I could find! I was told slaughtering a live one in your honor was frowned upon so I hope this will do!" The bears bigger than he is and Tony will treasure it forever.
"Thanks big-"
"Tony! You're Alive!" Bruce bursts through the door, disheiveled and out of breath.
"Yes Brucie bear, and youre coher-"
"They told me what you did, we're setting up a talk about how much you mean to us as soon as youre well enough to leave. You cant keep doing this, the Hulk and I forbid it."
"Forbid-!?"
"Potts just picked Rhodes up from the airport, just to warn you." Natasha slinks in and perches on the edge of his bed.
"Airport?? Why the hell did I even give him a s-"
"I found balloons with our faces on them! Our FACES!" Clint has enough balloons to float a small dog, and they fill the ceiling like the bear overfills the visitors couch.
"Yes, I had to paten them-"
"YOU KNEW!?"
"ANTHONY STARK YOU ARE IN SO MUCH TROUBLE!"
"Can I finish one sentence?"
Pepper fumes as she and Rhodey rush in,
"No!"
"Im gonna wrap you in bubble wrap and keep you in a padded wagon if you keep trying to kill me like this."
"I believe I was keeping people from being killed. Minus... the guys that got killed but they were lame."
"How many times am I gonna have to tell you you matter to us before you actually get it?" Pepper squeezes his hand, tight and trembling, tears in her eyes that make his already tender heart squeeze.
"I'm sorry, I didnt have much time... I couldnt watch anyone die. I couldnt stand by when I could do something.... you guys matter to me, no matter how frustrating you are, so I did what I could. But I am sorry for worrying you all."
"We'll have to remind you more that your safety and wellbeing are just as important to us брат, (omg guys its pronounced Brat but means brother I cant so true) but thank you, for saving us." Natashas hand is warm on his ankle, but her words are warmer.
"Aye, I wish to have as much time as I'm able with you all, I am honored to both fight and exist with you." He bows his head, fist over his heart.
"Theres only one of you Tony, and we would like to keep him around." Bruce gives a small smile, eyes shining with truth.
"I was wrong in the hellicarrier, and Im sorry for it, Im glad to call you a friend." Steve has stopped pacing, standing tall and speaking every word with meaning and warmth.
"You're the reason we were able to become a family dude, stick around and enjoy it would ya." Clint pats his other ankle with a smirk, thats both kind and nervous.
"We'll tell ya everyday if we have to Tones." Rhodey ruffles his hair and Tonys eyes well up against his will. He blinks frantically, refusing to let a single one fall, before offering a hesitant smile.
"I cant promise I'll stop scaring you guys, I'll still protect you guys with my all, but I'll try to be better about the process." He pauses to breathe and swallow the lump in his throat, "and thanks... it means a lot."

Being around Tony stark can take a toll on you, some have to toughen up their skin to endure Tonys remarks, some just drift away from him, not wanting to deal with it.
But Peter?
No he's adapted.
Every snarky remark, and name Peter would be told, he just came back even stronger
"did you seriously forget to do your homework? Again? Don't you have enhanced..everything?"
"Mr stark, If we wanna talk irresponsible, let's talk about the time it seemingly crossed your mind to tell your loved ones you were dying because of the shrapnel in your chest." Peter snarked back
Tony stood frozen, his jaw dropped.
"well..fuck." Tony mumbled trying to contain l laughter at how sudden Peter came up with something like that.
Or another time.
"Peter, let me get you some new shoes." Tony pleaded
Peter sucked on his lollipop and squinted at Tony
"what? No why." Peter asked seemingly shocked
"because they're ratty. And old. And they look like they're gonna fall off or disintegrate at any given time." Tony answered crossing his arms
"why do you even keep them around?" The older one asked completely confused
"your ratty, old and likely to be on your death bed in a few years, why do we keep you around?" Peter snarked back raising an eyebrow.
Rhodey who was just passing through to grab some coffee was howling with laughter doubling over to clutch his stomach.
Sometimes it's not even directed at Tony.
"how do we even know we can trust the kid, he's unreliable" Sams eyes narrowed his voice harsh, but Steve nodded anyways
"I agree with Sam, recruiting a child would be very irresponsible."
Peter who was swinging on his chair, now paying attention in the meeting with the avengers turns to Steve and sam
"oh lord.." Tony muttered as rhodey tried to hide the smug, fond look on his face
"dude, you are 2 times my age, stop complaining and just admit that being an old man is getting to you, plus I can hear your knees snap like glow sticks when you crouch down. it's gross. Also who in this room has 1. A weird bird suit, and 2. Doesn't." Peter finished crossing his arms mirroring Tony. Alot.
"did I just get insulted by a toddler." Sam muttered
Peter is a sassy kid.
Peter is Tony's sassy kid.

The Avengers getting pardoned and returning to the Avengers Tower. Tony and Pepper are away so Peter is left to show them around.
Steve, getting out of the quinjet: Where's Stark?
Peter, dropping from the air: Good afternoon pussies, cowards and scaredy-cats my name is Spider-man and I've been doing what the US government paid for and entrusted you with while you were busy throwing a tantrum against 117 countries and then running away from all responsibility to go live with your African sugar-daddy.
Steve:
Clint, to Natasha: Wow, he didn't even fucking stutter.

It had actually been a gift from Tony. He had tried to refuse at first, but Tony had insisted. Apparently “Everyone has a damn phone, Jackson.” and Tony had “no other way to contact you” and didn't “feel like learning the language of smoke signals.”

Hi!! Sorry it took so long to respond. It's been a busy couple of weeks!! But I totally have a few BAMF Peter Parker fics in my bookmarks! And one very good fic where neither Tony nor Peter blipped.

🕸 to fear and to fly by idyllic_dae Rated T
“You’ll come to learn that there’s only one thing worse than having nothing.” Trying to hold onto his fight, Peter shoots back, “Yeah? And what’s that?” “To have nothing, after being able to believe you could have everything.”
The streets are dirty, crowded, and the jagged bumps in the asphalt are hardly comfortable to sleep on. They’re home, though.
Peter is just about finished with New York City. It’s gotten impossibly harder to find even a scrap of food, and what little belongings he does have are unlikely to keep him alive through the winter. And the memories. God, the painful memories here.
So he saves up. Makes a plan to get out of there.
Then, somehow, he accidentally saves Tony fucking Stark from a gang of eight mercenaries, and the majestic plan disintegrates into ash.
The worst part about it, he knows, isn’t even that he met Tony. It’s that Tony met him.
^^ This one is incomplete still but it is SO VERY GOOD.

Tony, Peter, Happy, and Daren make a trip to California during Peter's Spring Break, both to get some business done at SI-Malibu, and to look into another hotspot for the human trafficking ring they've been trying to break down. As it often does when self-sacrificial Spider-kids are involved, things go a little off the rails.
^^ This one is part of a series but can be read alone. However, I highly recommend the whole series! It's crazy creative and super well-written.

Peter gets stuck in a time loop. In it, he lives through some of his worst nightmares, only to wake up that morning and have no one remember. He needs Tony to help him get through.
And if that isn't bad enough, his identity is revealed over and over, every day.
^^ This fic has me on the edge of my seat every time I read it, I swear

“Tony fucking Stark,” Clint says, and he points at the black smoke. “Did you blow up that base, you piece of shit?” “Absolutely not. I almost got blown up with it.” Clint is not alone. A few yards behind him, a scrawny figure halts and squints at Tony from underneath a frayed baseball cap. Sunken eyes. Dressed in a black undershirt and cargo pants. Can’t be older than eighteen. “What are you doing here?” Clint jerks his head at the boy behind him. “SHIELD mission. Extracting a hostage.” Tony glances back at the teenager, whose face has now morphed into something entirely impassive. “He seems thrilled about his rescue.” — Tony is roped into a mission to transport a teenager to safety. But when things go south, it soon becomes more and more puzzling who the teenager is and what ‘safety’ means for him.
^^ Oh my goodness. This one has a super strong stoic Peter, who also manages to (eventually) be so super soft. I love everything by the writer, honestly.
🕸 Peter Protection Protocol by JAWorley Rated T
"The hell?" Knife guy breathes. He looks at Tony, and then back at the suit. Ned can hear the wheels spinning in his mind. If I have Iron Man, then who is in the suit?
There’s silence for a second, then another. Everyone waits with baited breath until Peter’s tinny voice comes out of the suit. “Give me back my Tony.”
OR
Peter’s class barely makes it in the door to Stark Industries for their field trip when they find themselves in a hostage situation. Peter and Ned know exactly what they have to do to save Mr. Stark from the bad guys. A short fic that’s supposed to be fun and easy to read. Not crack, just fun. Minor angst near the end.
^^ This author has SO MANY super fun and amazing fics, but this one definitely fits the BAMF Peter Parker bill.
Insane Mistakes Everybody Makes by Fluencca Rated T
The Avengers' kids are kidnapped for leverage and ransom. Tony tries to find them, while Peter--who somehow is part of this mess--tries to keep the kids safe.
^^ Love this one so much. It has all the amazing BAMF Peter.
🕸 Survivor's Guide to The Galaxy by fanfic1892 Rated T
Space rock crunched under Peter’s armor-clad feet and he dropped his hand from his eyes, turning to Tony. "Mister Stark," he said softly. "What do we do now?”
The question was entirely reasonable, Tony supposed, but being the one expected to answer it was like an infinity gauntlet punch to the gut. (Now there was a unit of measurement he could submit to the CGPM.)
Or: In a billion-to-one cosmic fluke, Tony and Peter both survive the snap and are left alone on Titan with an alien spaceship and no plan in sight. Peter’s presence brings Tony to make a tough call: diverting their course away from Earth in search of food and fuel. With the galaxy in shambles and no clear route home, the two survivors must carve out a path of their own somewhere in the great infinity.
^^ This is one of my favorite fics of all time.
As usual, I could go on for days with fics I love and would love to share with others. But we'll stop here for now. lol. And look! I didn't even self-promote this time! Thank you so much for asking. Don't forget to leave kudos and comments!!

Hello, I'm not sure if you would be able to help me... I'm looking for an Irondad fic I've read over a year ago. In it Tony was kidnapped. Pepper was getting video tapes of him being tortured. Peter was very frustrated because Pepper and Happy didn't want him watch those tapes and he wanted to help looking for Tony. After several days he gets to watch them anyway, I think Friday helped him, except for the last one. When he finally watch the last one, he finds out Tony is being tortured to reveal his identity. In the end with his help they'll rescue Tony.
I've read it either here on Tumblr or on ao3, but I can't find it anywhere. It drives me crazy. Thank you, even if you won't be able to help.
sorry for the wait, but could this be your fic?
The Video by jelly_pies
Peter will do anything to help get Mr. Stark back, including watching the torture videos his kidnappers sent. But this time there's more to the video than Peter expects.

“Rampage”
Steve has only ever heard tall tales. On one side, of how feral Omegas are born from too much freedom, too much of outsider's touch and a weaker, submissive Alpha. He'd known those were nonsensical rumors to curb the fire that burned with Omega rights. On the other hand, some believed them to be made up stories. Feral Alphas were real and usual sightings, more often a result of an unexpected rutt. Cases reported for feral Omegas, however were two or three in a decade—mostly false. Sightings, none. Living witnesses, none.
Watching Tony crouch and growl at their guards, the limp body of his ward secure behind him, Steve thinks there's a reason for all of that. The bright red eyes, the fangs that ripped into the man's throat like tender meat and the putrid stench of death emanating from the generally cinnamon scented Omega—safe to say, no feral alpha would be any match for a feral Omega.
After, after it's done. After Harley blinks and calls out for his "mechanic". After, like a switch flipped, Tony grows limp and heavy, crawling towards the kid, dragged down by the foreign blood on his body and the still fading rampage. After Steve stares at the mangled corpses of the Hydra agents and lets out a soft chuckle.
"This sucks. No one's gonna believe me."
Tony looks at him, the residual red merging with his beautiful earthy hues. Steve wonders if he could remember it well to put it on a canvas.
"Sorry," Tony whispers, his voice hoarse as he cradles Harley close to his chest. "I'm sorry, but they hurt him-"
"They did. And they deserved what came to them for that."
The picture they paint—Steve recalls telling Tony about the man who wanted family, stability going into the ice. Thinking about Tony going feral for a child that isn't even his, bit by bit Steve thinks maybe that man is being revived. By the very person who stole his heart by flying a nuke to space.

Please read A Shot in the Dark before you “watch” (read) this post credits scene, cause there’s a big spoiler at the end.
A short time after the events Maria and Tony survived Maria and Natasha visited their former SHIELD associate Melinda May. It wasn’t a formal or business gathering, instead it was just the three women sitting on May’s living room floor around her coffee table with beer and snacks just chatting for awhile. Nothing like the old days when they were running around the world together battling the bad guys and saving people. As Maria recounted the story of the events she just survived to Nat and May she actually felt real relief, just getting what happened out to two people she trusted made such a difference.
As Maria finalized the story, even adding in Tony’s painkiller inspired gift, Nat and May were just had no words for all of it. It’s not like they were particularly chatty people but it was so much for Maria to keep to herself she had to tell them, she was glad she did.
“And then I got home and took a ten year shower and cried in the corner of my shower until I was so numb I could fall asleep.” Maria finalized the events and taking a sip of beer and sighing.
“Just like the old days.” May smirked.
“An isolated shower corner cry is surprisingly satisfying.” Natasha added in.
“There’s nothing like it.”
“Except therapy.” May replied in a classic monotoned retort
Maria sighed and then looked at May.
“But…that’s why I can’t return your shoes…” Maria sighed, admitting to May, the gold and black shoes she borrowed were gone for good.
“I have one pair of non flat shoes that I like. One pair…” May groaned.
“Had.” Natasha corrected.
“I know. But considering what they stepped in I don’t think you really want them back anyway…” Maria grimaced.
“You didn’t find the little dagger hiding in the heel?” May asked seriously.
“You are not serious.” Maria looked at her wide eyed.
“Why do you think I like them?” May asked not giving to her joke. “Okay, I’m not but that is what I expect you to replace them with because of your Stark tech connections.” May sort of joked, as she thought she was on to something here.
“Dagger heels, got it. Very practical.” Maria remarked
“Would have been pretty practical for you just a few days ago..” May smirked and Maria shook her head at her. “Or gun heels, I would be fine with gun heels.” May added and Natasha seconded.
“You’re corporate now, make stuff happen.” Natasha joked looking at Maria like why hadn’t she made these yet.
“Why is the grossest part of this whole story that you had to use a dirty hand towel from that creepy doctor’s bathroom?” May went back to the story for a minute, thinking about it giving a shiver.
“Because it is.” Natasha added in
“Please don’t make me think about it or I will just live in my shower until I die.”
“What do you think was on it.” May laughed, teasing, despite the trauma.
“May!” Maria exclaimed not wanting to ever think about that again.
“Probably wasn’t worse than what Maria put on it..” Natasha grimaced “probably…”
“But.. when I looked under bathroom sink I found a whole thing of unopened like hand wipes or something and I almost had a full on meltdown.” Maria admitted.
“You always look under the sink first.” Natasha threw out like it was obvious.
“Yeah, amateur.” May quipped with a smirk.
“Yeah, what was I thinking?” Maria rolled her eyes, and then she thought about it for a minute. “Well.. if you really want your shoes back they are probably still under the sink with my dress.”
“Ugh.” May groaned at the thought of this one truly magnificent pair of shoes going to waste. May lent them to her most responsible and trustworthy friend, without a second thought in the world, it just figured, but she was glad Maria was okay, she would pick Maria over anything.
“The dress was nice too.” May added in with a sigh. “My shoes did go perfectly with them.”
“Yeah..” Maria sighed along with May, not getting into the dress specifics.
“What dress?” Nat asked and Maria did not make eye contact with her. Natasha’s jaw dropped for a minute when Maria didn’t acknowledge her question and she look right at May.
May not picking up on a single cue from Maria started to describe it.
“It was like black, one shoulder, shimmery gold, it was nice it looked really good.” As May explained it, Nat’s expression really changed, gasping wide eyed a complete ‘you did not’ expression right at Maria who was avoiding the Widow’s stare.
“THIEF!” Natasha yelled at Maria, Nat’s voice cracking in the excitement of her realization.
“Oh my god.” May gasped at Maria. “Do you not own clothes or something?” May asked Maria who was shaking her head.
“You’re ridiculous.” Natasha huffed right at Maria.
“I can’t help it that you have cooler clothes than me!” Maria finally looked at Natasha.
“Shop somewhere other than Ann Taylor then!!” Natasha jokingly yelled and May laughed.
“I shouldn’t have to shop! My clothes should just appear before me so I don’t have to think about them or organize them or coordinate and they should just be …cool since I can’t just wear the same thing everyday anymore…” Maria complained
“Is Ann Taylor where you go shopping with your new corporate friends?” May asked Maria with a laugh.
“Friends? Or the women who peer pressure you into wearing stilettos in a place where the floor is so slick one misstep and you take out your whole face. It is actually a safety concern.” Maria groaned.
“All the more reason for shoe guns.” May joked
“Gun heels.” Natasha corrected
“Just be like Mr. Stark—“ May started
“Mr. Stark?” Natasha echoed with a laugh
“Mr. Stark” May continued over Natasha “as I have saved your life I would like you to invent shoe guns, they are very practical, and not at all safety hazard, unlike the situation with women’s shoes in this building now.”
“Gun heels.” Natasha interjected again.
“They would be very helpful for all women forced to wear non flat shoes and who end up in precarious situations. In fact, it would have shortened our ordeal by may hours if those existed. Please use your genius brain to invent them.” May pretended to do a fake imitation of Maria.
“Yeah spot on me.” Maria laughed rolling her eyes shaking her head like it was never going to happen.
“I thought so, but fine alright whatever. Just go to the mall with Becky or Katie or whoever and be miserable eating your mall pretzel and your Ann Taylor wardrobe.” May huffed jokingly.
“Well if they’re are pretzels I’m not going to be that miserable.” Maria smirked
“Not the cinnamon roll?” Natasha asked
“They make a cinnamon pretzel…” Maria looked at Nat
“You sure know a lot about the mall.” Nat threw out there with some side eye to Maria.
“You guys.. you get both.. a regular pretzel and a cinnamon roll and split it halfsies, c’mon. You have to have one savory and one sweet snack. Get in the game.” May clarified the process for them.
“How are you going to walk around the mall with a snack in each hand?” Natasha looked skeptical at May.
“How are you going to hold your drink?” Maria asked jokingly
“Okay… so we are strategizing how to eat snacks at the mall…” May pointed out to them. They all took a brief moment to think about how their brains naturally went to that place no matter what they were talking about.
“We’re so dumb.” May laughed to herself for a minute. Maria nodded and Natasha rolled her eyes with a sigh.
After the minute passed, Maria looked over at Natasha.
“I mean.. was that dress… really was it even yours anymore?” Maria asked about the dress again.
“Oh now you’re circling back, huh, and yes.. it was..” Natasha clarified.
“I think if you leave it at my apartment for a year it becomes mine.”
“Oh really? Do you want to play that game Hill because there’s a jacket that’s been sitting in my closet…” Natasha challenged Maria
“Oh I want that back.”
“Yeah right.” Natasha said over a hushed laugh “And.. that dress was too long for you, it was supposed to go the knee not below. Plus… it looked really good on me…for the 30 minutes that I got to really wear it.”
“Everything looks better on you when you’re seven feet tall.” Natasha shook her head. “Were you even going to tell me?”
“Only if you asked about it.”
“You were more afraid to tell Natasha about her dress than me about my shoes?” May asked squinting at Maria.
“No. Definitely not.” Maria looked at May. “I just thought she forgot about that dress…” Maria started to explain.
“I have been working!” Natasha interjected.
“And I know you were expecting your shoes back.” Maria continued over Natasha’s interruption and explained. May pressed her lips together giving Maria a suspicious look.
“I wasn’t really expecting them back after I heard, but I appreciate you taking the time to explain it.” May affirmed.
“Maybe it was a little bit of a pretext to come hang out.” Maria admitted.
“You don’t need a pretext just come by— I mean, assuming I’m around which I’m usually not…” May sighed.
Things were really different now with fall of SHIELD and things operating on the down low. Maria and May really missed the old days, but it was kind of hard to think about it overall positively knowing what they knew now about the place they had given most of their lives to. Natasha didn’t hang onto any nostalgic institutional preservation like they did, but she did miss some of the old days too, it was just different for her.
“So uh.. did you two… break up… or.. get together? What is the status of this situationship?” May inquired, she wasn’t going to tell anyone and she always knew something was going on with them somewhere, somehow, but it’s not like they were very open people about their relationships or feelings. But they clearly never hesitated to indicate something was going on when they were alone with May, someone they both trusted deeply. Neither Maria or Natasha said anything, they didn’t really have answer for her, they both just shrugged.
“I heard Natasha commandeered a jet out of Prague when she heard what happened…” May added a little more fuel to the conversation to see what she could get.
Maria looked at Natasha with an ‘oh really’ expression and Natasha rolled her eyes and avoided eye contact with Maria.
“She cares deeply for Tony..” Maria looked back at May and smirked. Natasha raised her brows and sighed.
“Yeah, I do.” Nat answered confidently.
“You mean Maria’s boyfriend, Tony Stark?” May joked from Maria’s story about what happened. For some reason this made both Natasha and Maria laugh.
“Do you think I would like Tony?” May asked
“No.” Maria and Nat answered in perfect unison, and then the three them laughed at the idea.
“Traumatic incidents can spur some wild relationships…” May poised “I mean, he’s already giving you chest bursting alien replicas, you are practically married.” May chided
“Please.” Maria grimaced at the suggestion. She was done pretending she was in a straight relationship, even if it was to save lives.
“Oh. It’s not Tony to worry about, it’s actually Steve.” Nat pointed out after taking a drink. Maria gasped and shot a look right at Natasha shaking her head no.
“No…” Maria said with an emphatic but embarrassed tone trying to shut it down before this became the topic of conversation but it made it worse.
“Steve?” May paused as she thought about who Steve was for a minute…“Steve Rogers? Captain America!” And then May laughed like she had not laughed in years. “You have a straight girl crush on Captain America?” May said laughing looking right at Maria in delight. May sat up straight from her leaning as she learned this.
Maria stared at May her mouth ajar and then glared at Natasha.
“You have a thing for him, a weird thing. It’s there, it’s fine. He’s him. I get it.” Natasha shrugged at Maria’s glare. “It’s okay to admit it.”
“I do not! I really don’t. I don’t!” Maria said repeating herself but she couldn’t stop from smiling, mostly because she had not heard May laugh like that in years, but Maria shook her head no. She did have a soft spot for Steve but in a platonic friend way, he was just from a different time.
May looked over at Nat and Nat just nodded to May confirming that Maria did, indeed, have a cute little straight school girl crush on Steve Rogers.
“You are unbelievable.” Maria said to Nat as she watched the exchange and sighed loudly but she couldn’t keep from laughing.
“You can’t even deny it with a straight face.” Nat laughed. Nat knew the crush wasn’t real but she did think it was funny that it made Maria so flustered.
“Do you write his name on your work notes? In a little heart?” May said laughing. “Like all curly and whirly Mrs. Steve Rogers?”
“We’re green, we don’t use paper.” Maria tried not to laugh.
“I think Steve would be: Mr. Maria Hill.” Nat added in and May and Nat locked eyes both grinning and then laughing.
Maria had to cover her face with her hands as they grilled her, it’s not like this was something May and Natasha got to do very often.
“Steve freaking Rogers.” May repeated shaking her head, the idea of it made her laugh so much.
“I definitely do not have a straight girl crush on anyone including Steve Rogers.”
“Yeah, deny it again and maybe we will believe you.” May laughed
“He’s just nice, a class act, always kind and smart and very easy to work with, unlike many many other people that I have to or had to work with.” Maria tried very hard not get flustered shaking her head, looking away from them and then back at both of them when she referenced their past work associations.
“Oh. I get it.” May sighed “It’s like an admiration crush, like if Steve was twenty five years older than you, you’d follow him around to be his reliable support guy at every job forever until he died.” May joked and Natasha nodded in confirmation as May was onto something. Maria gasped.
“YEP.” Natasha confirmed verbally.
“I am..” Maria didn’t want to ruin the fun but also she did not want to dive into this conversation, she had enough of people trying to dive into her psyche lately “I am… starting to not feel that bad about ruining your shoes and clothes.” She looked at both of them with a smirk.
“At least you admit it’s mine now.” Natasha quipped right back.
As the three women took a minute to recover from Natasha’s revelation about Maria and May’s excitement. They sat in the quiet for a moment.
“Isn’t it weird to be sitting on the ground drinking and talking about boys and clothes like we’re 22 and we were ever normal?” May asked. Maria wasn’t the only one who needed a break from her reality May and Natasha needed it too. There was a time when the three of them were epic and fun. Everything didn’t have the unfathomable stakes all the time and then suddenly it just changed. Everything they went through got heavier and harder and it weighed on them more and more, there were almost never nights or moments like this.
“Ugh.” Maria groaned. “I was in such good shape when I was 22.” Maria thought about it with a sigh.
“Well..” May paused “You can take ‘Captain America’s self defense class’ to get back into fighting shape any time.” May blurted out over her own laughter which she thought was an even funnier detail of Maria’s story now that she knew about her little thing for Steve.
Now Natasha was covering her face laughing.
“I can’t believe I missed you.” Maria jokingly mumbled at May with a grin.
“But does Maria Martin, part-time designer of handbags and Stark Industries assistant miss me?” May asked jokingly, this really made Natasha laugh again. “Maria Martin definitely goes to the mall.” May chided.
“You don’t even own a purse.” Natasha snickered at Maria.
“Like we do?” May clocked back at Natasha
“Which is good, since if I had ID on me I’d definitely be .. not here right now.”
“Unless you had gun heels” May pointed at Maria “it would have been over real fast.” May joked circling back to her earlier pitch.
“Oh my god gun shoes not going to be a thing..” Maria sighed loudly at this terrible, awful, impractical idea, which she knew was a joke but she just had to shut it down.
“Gun heels!” Both May and Natasha corrected Maria.
Maria leaned back against the bottom of May’s couch. She sighed.
“I think I should probably head out.” Maria said as she got up. She could actually live here in this moment of complete safety and laughing if she stayed at May’s too long, but she new it was just a temporary regroup for all three of them. That wasn’t the norm, that’s not how things worked for them in reality.
“And you’re going with her?” May asked Natasha
“Yeah.” Natasha confirmed.
Maria and Natasha left May’s with loving goodbyes. They headed out to the sidewalk. The night air was breezy but warm, the rain from the other day had cooled off some of the summer humidity that had been building.
Maria and Natasha walked next to each other, they didn’t hold hands or act like they were anything other than two women walking next to each other.
Maria looked at her phone as they walked, she hadn’t looked it once at May’s and even silenced it, in fact she actually forgot about it for awhile which was nice. She had and anxiety inducing amount of unanswered texts from the last few days, Natasha noticed it and knew that was unusual for a women who kept her unread at 0 at all times.
Maria then winced a bit when she looked at her phone and Natasha was quick to notice.
“What?” Natasha asked
Maria showed Natasha her phone screen of 11 missed calls from an unknown number.
“What’s that about?” Nat asked
Maria just shook her head like she didn’t know.
“Fury?” Nat purposed
Maria had not heard from him and Maria shrugged but she figured at some point she might, maybe not, he was a busy guy had a lot going on.
The unknown caller rang again and Maria and Natasha stopped and looked at it, both weighing if she should answer it. Maria’s guess was that it was the FBI they always called from blocked numbers, but calling her that many times in a row meant there was an emergency or someone was dead.
Maria answered but she didn’t put it on speaker which Natasha found annoying.
“Yeah?” Maria used this as her greeting when she answered not confirming it was her since she did not know who was calling. She didn’t know what to expect after so many missed calls, had something happened to Tony now? Had she unplugged herself when Fury was trying to reach her?
“Maria, finally!” Natasha could her the man’s voice from the phone and she knew it was not Fury or Tony. Maria looked shocked and mad at the voice she heard as she recognized it instantly.
“We have a game to finish.” Yuri continued even though Maria didn’t say anything back, she just looked Natasha concerned. Maria knew she had to seen it to believe it, of course Yuri made it out.

Something I find incredibly annoying and common in "irondad" fics is that writer always makes peter parker act like a toddler, and the relationship between him and tony would be one a father had with his 5 year old son. Like no actual teenager is acting like that, Peter can be sarcastic and a smartass when he feels like one. Sure he's awkward around other heros but that doesn't mean he's 5 and calling them mom and dad. Peter Parker is a kid, but it would be hella disrespect to discredit and mischaracterize him because of that.

My favorite thing in the iron!dad & spidy!son fandom is that we all agree Pepper Potts is the scariest avenger and should never be messed with
