Kyoko and Junko are two sides of the same coin, in terms of their Ultimate abilities.

Junko is the Ultimate Analyst, which lets her analyze and learn Talents, sure, but most importantly lets her predict what's going to happen in the future based on the data she has. Trends, people, interactions, relationships - all of that is something she can mentally and easily comb through to accurately guess at what will happen in the next step, two steps, three steps.

Junko's Talent lets her predict the future. Accurately.

Kyoko is the Ultimate Detective, which lets her analyze the past and figure out what happened to get people where they are now. She can look at people and determine their current everything and accurately determine how that grew out of their past everything. She observes to find motives to explain a current murder by gathering details that show what previously happened.

Kyoko's Talent lets her retrace the past. Accurately.

Between the two of them, they can see everything.

So here's the shindig!

Holidays and December and end of the year is coming up! It's the literal darkest part of the year and seasonal depression and all those horrible things

BANDIT SHALL ATTEMPT A HOLIDAY/WINTER THEMED THING.

Having seen DR3 and knowing I'm implementing aspects of it in the fic but with changes means I get to do my favorite part of worldbuilding:

Change one thing and see how much the world unravels.

(Junko, I think, understands this. She just doesn't use it for worldbuilding purposes.)

Viv: I like Wanda. She has always been very nice to me. She brought my dog back to life, too, and was comforting when my mother died.

Also Viv: My mother's brainwaves were based on Wanda's brainwaves. As a result, I have a healthy fear that, no matter how reasonable and nice she may seem on the surface, she is hiding much more beneath the surface. Therefore, I also have that same healthy fear of her, as well.

reconciling that agatha is 5'11" in the comics with kathryn being literally a half foot shorter than that.

in the comics, agatha is taller than wanda. in the mcu, this is not so.

the irony of hiyoko - after her growth spurt - actually being the closest to ryoko's proportions out of everyone in the remnants means that this scene is about to be incredibly awkward, but like. it will be GREAT.

so. the ship dynamic in this trilogy is currently:

ryoko -> mikan -> junko <--> kyoko

really it's more like:

ryoko <--> mikan and junko <--> kyoko

it's just that mikan doesn't know that she was falling in love with ryoko because no one ever told her and it wasn't really that precise.

...the fun thing is going to be trying to resolve all of this mess.
