Just My Ramblings About Work...

And All the Stars Look Very Different Today...

Work tings. Work is hard. Hard because I don't find it mentally stimulating so it's boring. Just busy work. I'm a barback so physical labor, keeping the bar stocked and clean. I'm feeling exhausted and down. Wanting more.

I miss harm reduction work and working in an adult store. I thrived in those places. I do HR work on a volunteer basis but I would like to work in one of those fields again. It gave me so much fulfillment and made me love going to work. I'm trying but having no luck finding work. It's a bad time to try and find work right now though.

So for now I am here. Working overnight till 4 am. Lifting heavy things to the point my fibromyalgia flares up and I'm left barely mobile the next day. Wearing ear plugs and popping out to smoke or vape at least one an hour to prevent sensory overstimulation panic attacks.

But I work with some awesome people, get to wear awesome sexy 'fits which are really my style to work, and occasionally have a drink on the job which can help get through the night! Love my GC crew! It's a hella cool alternative/goth David Bowie themed bar! 🖤

I am proud of my moral compass. Was at the bar last night reading when a lady sat down next to me asking if I was really reading at a bar.

Very touchy feely, lots of arm touching, and a light kiss on the back of my neck. Would have been a fun night.

Turns out she was on shrooms and very drunk.

Glad I avoided that situation by not being a horn dog and reading a book.
