leo was born in melbourne australia, but at an early age his family had moved to sydney for better work opportunities for his parents. he was raised an only child and got everything he ever wanted or glanced at. when he was enrolled in school he was quick to make new friends. he was a chatterbox from an early age, entertaining kids his own age and even some adults.

he lived an ordinary life for the most part, getting average grades hanging out with his friends that he had made at an early age, and getting a job as soon as he was legally able to work. he couldn't complain about anything in his life, even though his parents weren't rich he was still receiving all the extras in life.

tw death/ a month before leo's seventeenth birthday he woke up to find out the most tragic news. his mother had died in her sleep. his whole world got flipped on it's head. the last thing he was ever expecting. very quickly things changed and leo watched as his father lost the light behind his eyes. when helping his father get things in order for his mother's service, leo came across pictures of a baby girl but nothing was written to signal who they were. he had a feeling because of what that baby looked like but went to ask his father to be sure. in the craziness of all of this he was told that he had a half sister from his mother. he tried to find her but without any other information about her it was a dead end.

all the extra goodies that he had been getting stopped and money became tighter. his father insisted that leo didn't put any of his own money towards bills and to save it. that wasn't going to stop him from helping out. half of what he earned went towards his savings and the other half went to go towards bills.

slowly but surely, there was a calm that came back into his life and things were starting to get easier again. after graduating he was unsure of what he wanted to do with his life. he thought about college and ended up going for a year before deciding that it wasn't for him. he knew that his dad would support him regardless of what he done he just wanted to make him proud.

looking at his savings he figured to make a big life change and started a group text between his friends asking for advice. 'where should i move?' several ideas flew around but nothing called out to him until someone told him about valparaíso. one of his friends had family that already lived out in chile and they agreed to help him get adjusted once he got in the city.

iii. LIFE

clarisse is the daughter of ares, the god of war, and a french-korean mortal woman by the name of martine. they met after an amateur mma match her mother competed in. she grew up in the heat of arizona, in a suburb of phoenix. she was a very active kid and she always excelled at any sport that her mother signed her up for.

when she was five, her mother got a new boyfriend, michael, who became clarisse's stepdad. unknown to her mother, michael was abusive towards clarisse, both verbally and physically. his favourite thing was to hammer in how unworthy and insignificant she was, how her real dad had left her and never sent a single birthday card. she feared being in her own home, especially when her mother took on a job as a bartender, leaving clarisse alone with michael more often. and while clarisse had always been fiery, she became downright destructive and cruel through the years of suffering under his abuse. michael and martine married when clarisse was eight. due to her own pride, she never said a word about the abuse to her mother, who believed the bruises and breaks were from all the sports that her daughter was involved in. but when clarisse was only eleven, michael hit her for the last time. when he struck her one day, a deep and angry voice in the girl's head commanded her to fight back this time, to stop cowering. when michael raised his hand to strike her again, it was the first time that she truly saw red. it ended with michael in the hospital with a bad concussion and multiple fractures. no one believed his eleven-year-old stepdaughter could inflict such damage on him despite his claims. however, martine knew clarisse was capable of it. while the attack led to her mother and michael's divorce, during which clarisse told martine everything, her mother also began fearing clarisse after that incident and started to assume the worst of her.

throughout her childhood, she was continuously expelled from school and thrown out of sports clubs for being too violent. she was even too violent for lacrosse. most of the time she did not mean to hurt anyone, but something would set her off and she would suddenly find herself standing over a crying kid, her knuckles bloodied and bruised. sometimes she would just be deemed "too rough" during games and thrown out of sports clubs. she eventually found an outlet in mma and boxing. she became a bit of a local legend for her talent until she accidentally injured an opponent beyond what she intended. she was taken to camp half-blood college shortly after that.

when she arrived at camp half-blood, she started studying archaeology, wanting to specialise in ancient weapons and wars, but she struggled too much to keep up with it due to the severity of her adhd. it is expected that she will take up her studies again at some point.

all ares said to her when they first met was that it was a shame she was born a girl. clarisse took this personally and she became even more obsessed with training and nutrition. when everyone else slept, she woke up early and trained for hours on end. while she had always been in good shape and very toned, she was now considered outright strong and physically superior to most others. she focused on every type of hand-to-hand combat she could train in, training at all hours of the day until she nearly passed out from exhaustion. clarisse is now the perfect balance between fast and strong. this makes her a very capable fighter and she is now considered to be one of the best warriors of her kind. so much so that she was eventually made head counsellor of the ares cabin. her father rewarded her with an electric spear when her new position was announced.

iv. PERSONALITY

the good: clarisse is extremely loyal to those she considers her friends, she will always do everything she can to protect them. she is very brave and will throw herself into any fight. she is infamous for not backing down until there is no other choice (she is like the black knight from monty python who says "'it's just a flesh wound" after having both his arms cut off lmao). while not exactly known for her kindness and mercy, she is actually a caring leader and she will never leave any of her soldiers behind. clarisse is protective of her cabin but also camp half-blood college itself. when on the battlefield in training sessions, she is a charismatic and inspiring leader, always on the frontline and giving it her all. she has a soft spot for those who cannot fight for themselves, for those who are damaged and broken in some way.

the bad: most see her as a bully ― and they'd be right. she can be both physically and verbally aggressive. clarisse likes to put people in their place and she gets jealous easily. her need for glory means that she can have trouble seeing others get it and she will feel the need to sabotage them. she is incredibly stubborn to the point where she can endanger herself and others. she is also arrogant and often fails to see her own flaws. this arrogance also means that she takes things personally even when they are not. there are no small slights to her, only insults. when clarisse is angry, she sometimes snaps and sees red. ares' wrath, some call it, or even ares' madness. she will go into a sort of berserker mode when this happens, sometimes hurting people she never wanted to harm in the process.

the sad: unknown to herself, clarisse is still traumatised from the abuse she grew up with. but instead of turning it inward, she is reactive and lets it harm the people around her. while she no longer fears her former stepdad, she holds a similar fear of ares instead. all the father figures in her life have been cruel to her and yet she is desperate for their approval. she is a bully because she believes that the only way to protect yourself is to be the one to strike first. no one can bully a bully. after finally proving herself worthy to be a child of ares, she is now struggling with her father's high expectations of her. she knows the moment she fails then he will deem her unworthy once more. her greatest fear is to be considered unworthy and irrelevant, not only by ares, but by the world.

Rambling about my beautiful OC, Sydney, again. She used to have piercings but took them out for her job and it always astounds her nephews and the teens in her support group when they see pictures of her younger. Her tongue piercing is still open she just doesn’t have anything in it 😭 She also is SO ass at picking good partners. She finds the most horrifically disturbed people on the planet and goes what if we kissed 💕 also she used to be a bartender but had to stop because she was drinking uh. A little too much for comfort. Now she gets up at ass o clock in the morning and can’t stay up any later than 10pm and if her dickhead roommate is loud, she’ll just yell from her room “SHUT THE FUCK UP AND GO TO BED” and you’ll be able to hear a pin hit the floor. She is VERY grumpy if she doesn’t get a good amount of sleep. She’s usually very levelheaded and almost apathetic to the extent that she’s just utterly unfazed by anything. Her party girl era involved having work at 430 am and just staying up every night to go to it since she’d be out until 3 anyway. She’s also,,, very unapproachable in public. Very much resting bitch face, very much wearing all black, very much haunting, hundred yard stare but she’s just thinking about her weird ex who ate ferret kibble. Phoenix was born and raised in Sydney, Australia and he is 'banished' to Daegu as punishment for noise and destruction in one of his family's hotel suites for a celebration. His parents think sending him to Korea to work will have him gasping for air but he's actually doing much better than they had expected. Ha! He works at the Vesper Lounge, thanks to his cousin who owns the place. Yeah, he really had it easy. Phoenix is rather jovial and full of teases but he can be blunt and sarcastic too. He loves hanging out at Sephora Cosmetics, Isanghan Thrift, Wangto Records and XPixel.

I’m looking for his cousin who is the main reason why he’s here. They own Vesper Lounge and they got him a spot at the bar as a bartender. I envision them to have a really close-knit relationship, kind of like an older sibling & younger brother type. I guess they could hang out a lot and get to know each other more to make up for lost time, it'd be really cute!

BACKGROUND

Dylan and Callie Michaels were born to a young couple whose relationship deteriorated shortly after they were born. It didn’t matter that their mother left. It didn’t matter that they never knew her. Their dad loved them enough and raised them in a loving environment, working to ensure they had everything they needed, despite the humble income he made as a fisherman. They had their grandparents too, who had been more like parents to the twins. It was enough.

He would often go with his dad fishing, eventually helping him out. The twins grew up attached by the hip. They took surfing lessons together, growing better and better, and they accompanied their dad when he went fishing. In a nutshell, the twins were lovers of the ocean, just like their dad.

Just like his dad, Dylan grew up beloved by everyone that knew him. He thrived in high school. He got good grades, had lots of friends, and was captain of the swimming team. On the side, he participated in local surfing competitions for fun and extra money, alongside working part-time jobs here and there to help his dad out. As much as he loved to surf, going pro was not in his agenda, preferring to keep it as a hobby.

He knew he wanted to go to college. In fact, he was excited for it, excited to major in something specific, and excited for the college life everyone talked about. It took him some time to decide on a major, but with his good grades and good extracurriculars, he was able to secure financial aid and pick somewhere good. He ended up going for marine biology in the Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand. It made his grandparents proud, seeing as his dad never got a degree. That was the first time the twins separated. While it took some adapting to be away from his sister, he ended up thriving during college, too, his golden retriever energy and bright, friendly, and fun attitude serving as a magnet for friends.

After college, he returned to Sydney, just in time for Callie to leave. He shortly got a job as a marine biologist. He didn’t enjoy it as much as he thought he would, despite the good income, mainly bothered by the 9-to-5 lifestyle. He didn’t last long before quitting and ended up taking a job as a surf and swim instructor during the day, and bartender at night. He’s always been one to enjoy doing multiple things at once.

He reunited with Callie when their grandmother had a health scare last year. It was good having his sister back and it felt like old times. She then informed him about a chance to be on a dating show, and Dylan, never really one to say no to things, thought it’d be a fun idea. One, he loved love. He believed in it. He believed he had a soulmate out there and has always been ready to find them. He’s experienced being in love multiple times before and loved the feeling. Two, it was with his twin sister. So, it was a no-brainer for Dylan.

PERSONALITY

Dylan, in a nutshell, is a nice guy. He’s friendly, charismatic, jovial, chill, enjoys banter and flirtation and is always down for a good time. He tends to avoid and stay away from confrontations as much as possible so as to not ruin his mood. He can’t stay still for long, always must be doing something and keeping busy somehow. He self-indulges, something he doesn’t realize is a problem, and jumps headfirst, thinks later, and tends to follow his emotions and instincts rather than logic when making decisions.

Ashton Fletcher Irwin, 28. Yoga teacher.

Born in Sydney, Australia, he is the son of Ann-Marie and an American father, that left them when Ashton was only a year-old. His mother struggled as a single parent and her heavy substance abuse marked Ashton’s formative years. He had to take responsibility for the raising of his half-siblings Harry and Lauren from an early age and the family struggled with bouts of homelessness.

A restless hippie soul, Ashton found himself in Los Angeles after high school, needing a fresh start. Working a series of odd jobs from waiting tables and being a bartender, Ashton found his calling in yoga. Recently, he’s also started a candle-making company, turning another love into a business.

Personality description : Though most people perceive her as naive and frail, Violet carries both intelligence and determination as easily and quick as people are to judge her. She can be kind to those who deserve it, but will not hesitate to cause some temporary trouble to them if they are in her way, though it was mostly done so she wouldn't get hurt constantly.

Memories of their real life:

Violet remembers everything from her life in Navarre, she remembers being betrayed by not only her (supposed) childhood friend, but by the man she fell in love with as well and when she got her memories back, she was not in a happy mood, something that both her dragons, Tairn and Andarna easily picked up as they watched over her until she remembered.

What was their fake life like?

In her fake life, Violet grew up with two loving parents, who whilst they adored her and her sister deeply, felt like they were better off as friends instead of a couple, so when they separated, she took the time to care for her sister during that inevitable mess, but things got cleared up and they both adjusted to a life living with both parents at different times in their lives.

I understand money’s tight everywhere but I’m understanding even more now why he became a bartender.

okay, I know everyone jumped Sydney Sweeney for saying it out loud but dare I ask, do you think Zendaya makes more money/supports her and her loved ones from mostly her endorsement deals rather than the acting jobs?

Last year, after she signed on for Smart Water after all the other ones but didn’t promote it, I 👀 wondered if it was just for the compensation. She’s got a lot of saleries to pay for and I’m sure LA rent isn’t getting any cheaper.

It's a little complicated. For someone like Sydney, she wasn't going to be destitute if she didn't work for a couple of months. Nor would she likely need to pick up another job. If I remember what she actually said is she wouldn't be able to live her current lifestyle- stylists, etc. and the extra costs that go into being fairly known but not a-list. But do I think Sydney wasn't going to have a roof over her head if she didn't work for three or four months? No. She seemed to be talking more about living her life at the current level she was living it.

As for Z, I do think she makes a lot of money off brand deals but her checks for her movies are not small either. She's in a position to make millions per movie which is still not a position most actors are going to find themselves in currently, but yes, her brand deals are likely what put her over the top. I also get the impression, though of course who knows for real, that she isn't super extravagant with her money.

Someone like Kamil, yeah, I'm sure he is a lives paycheck to paycheck kind of actor. He's mostly a character actor who isn't going to score big checks, residuals are non-existent, and yeah...it's not surprising that he would need to supplement with an outside job.

gonna try and keep this short and sweet, ajax and ryker’s parents died while they were still young so aj brought up ryker on his own. he was a major part in the first rebellion, as a leader. he did a lot of work in district 2 but also in other districts. when the rebellion failed, he was fully ready to take whatever punishment the capitol had for him. but when they took ryker instead, aj fell into a guilt driven depression and alcoholism

Look who just woke up- is that GRANT GUSTIN? No, I must have been mistaken, that’s LELAND PARKER from THE WALKING DEAD(OC). I heard he is 28 and stuck here just like everyone else. Even in the 20’s, they still give off a FANGS BARED, SLEEPLESS NIGHTS THAT SEEM ENDLESS, UNCHECKED ANGER impression. They’re known to be quite LOYAL, but have a tendency to be UNPREDICTABLE on their bad days.

Leland remembers everything of his old life, however, most of what he cares to remember is only post-apocalyptic. Before zombies became a part of his daily life, he was just an orphan boy tossed from one foster home to a next. Life simply placed a chip too large on his shoulders for him to ever get rid of it until... killing the un-dead became an acceptable way of releasing all of the lifelong anger that had been festering inside him.

For a long time he traveled alone and he enjoyed it that way. He became voluntarily mute, figuring he had no reason to talk to the dead and the occasional living he came across were just never worth becoming involved with.

Eventually, a group calling themselves Negan found him covered in blood and zombie gore. They offered him a home among the living and while it had no appeal to him, he knew turning them down would only cause him trouble. They recognized that he was an unhinged man and that was exactly what they wanted and already had amongst their ranks. He became another attack dog amongst many. It was a life he surprisingly came to enjoy.

It was cut short when another group that he hardly cared enough to hold a grudge against decided they had enough of the way Negan ran things. In his own mind, it was only a matter of time before that happened so when it finally did and he was given a choice between dying or trying to assimilate into a completely new way of life, he made his peace and chose the former.

What was their fake life like?

Now, Leland finds himself in this new life that makes him feel as if that choice meant very little. It took him awhile to piece together but his little sister did most of the explaining. She was there when he woke up in the hospital after suffering from a head injury.

Based on what she told him and what he’s pieced together this past year on his own, he and his younger twin sister grew up in foster homes much like his real life. However, he was surprisingly optimistic and did his best to raise and protect her. A hard working and likeable man was how most people described him and he was apparently in a very serious five year relationship. The ray of sunshine everyone seemed to think he was quickly died in their eyes because it was laughable to expect a man like Leland to fake that kind of persona with all his memories back.

Instead, he broke up with his long term partner, quit his job, and confessed to his sister that he was not the man she thought he was. Thankfully and surprisingly, his sister stuck by his side and believed him. Nothing had separated them before and some large personality change was not going to do it either despite the doctors claiming that this was a possibility when it came to head injuries.

After cleaning up that mess, he carved out a simple life for himself as a bartender in the seediest parts of Balmain. Not long after gaining some connections with the very little small talk he participated in, he found himself as an underground mercenary for hire. All the skills and knowledge he had in his old life transferred over to this one and they paid well since he was more than happy to take on the most of gruesome of jobs in between serving drinks and kicking out drunk assholes.
