After breaking out of LunarMax, a moon-based maximum security prison, Boris the Animal (Jemaine Clement) decides to go back in time and eliminate the person who arrested him - Agent K (Josh Brolin). No one's reading this but I think that the 'baseball' scene in Invincible was incredibly well done. It was artful to tie Nolan's decision to stop killing his own son to a moment where Debbie was talking about how Mark was theirs. In that moment, something as droll as a baseball game was a celebration of humanity. It was a moment that totally destroyed the presented ideas -- 'I can start over, I can have a new child'-- because his relationship with Mark was special. It was important. And at the heart of it, it was more important than whatever imperialistic ambitions were driving him to kill thousands of people.

Relationships make or break us. The ties we share with others irrevocably change the course of our lives, for better or for worse.
